Exactly, and the right needs to repeat over and over again that the reason it happened is because the left, particularly the Biden/Harris administration, congress members, and the MSM incited it. I’ve heard that effect in several other interviews on X. It sounds like the correction for sibilence is set so high that it makes the speaker sound like they have a lisp.
That would make sense because Trump certainly doesn’t speak with any kind of a lisp at his campaign rallies. I watched the one he did at Bozeman, Montana over the weekend, and didn’t hear anything resembling a lisp in the nearly two hours he spoke.

On TruthSocial there is a 15 second video of PDJT seated at a conference table speaking with Elon. Video sound is CRYSTAL CLEAR.
However, sadly, in front of him on the table is an iPhone, clearly on speaker.
I have an iPhone and I don’t trust the speaker at all because I’ve heard what some friends sound like when they’ve got it on a table and are a couple feet away. Our real President’s head was a couple feet above the phone (he’s tall).
Then multiply that by sending the sound through how many hops to get to X.
He’s lucky he didn’t sound like RFK Jr.

Exactly. I didn’t tune in to hear what Elon Musk thinks. I want to hear President Trump be allowed to speak freely, something that doesn’t happen often when he speaks with the biased American media.
Elon is no Hannity and President Trump is jumping on the opportunity. But tomorrow, this will be the headline. NO mention of the topics of conversation but the ‘time of possession’ / word count of Trump vs Musk.

I guess you can look at it that way, but what I hear in many of their exchanges is President Trump trying g to inform Elon.
Here are some examples. Elon didn’t seem to realize how many people crossing the border are bad actors. Elon said several times inflation is caused by government overspending. This is true, and by printing money is true, but President Trump tried to point out that inflation started and in many ways is perpetuated by high energy prices (inflation started when whoever is running the Biden administration started raising energy prices).
What I heard President Trump doing in these examples was to try to give Elon the bigger picture.
In my view Elon thinks a bit like a Democrat. For example, his focus on inflation is to have a government commission, although he did offer to help. President Trump’s view is to “drill, baby drill” and to cut regulations so business can flourish, just as he did before.
So I don’t consider that President Trump was interrupting. He was trying to make sure Elon and the rest of us see the big picture.
I think the conversation went quite well… when Elon identified the issues and provided some middle of the road fix, Trump corrected him -nicely- with the big picture and defined the root fix.
So, the moderates who believe in Elon’s “fixes” got exposed to a better fix.
Something they will not hear in the MSM.

Yes. These are two very intelligent men talking about complicated subjects. For listeners of all backgrounds to hear the same thing said in different ways is a good thing.
For me personally I am more actively listening to what Musk is saying than I have before. I am learning from him too.
But the level of detail on some of these foreign entanglements is more that we’ve had from President Trump before and is beyond the rally speech.
Never hear Elon speak before. I am impressed by his knowledge on the topics discussed so far.
It’s good to hear him build on some of President Trumps points.
There should be some Elon fans that convert to the MAGA camp after this.

I like that Musk endorsed Trump and that he’s doing this chat event with Trump. I don’t think Musk is MAGA, I think he’s an opportunist, but I do believe he recognizes that Trump is by far the better candidate and the one who can actually move the country forward.
His trans communist child has attacked him. Since he’s experienced it first hand maybe he now understands the evil agenda of the left and wants to stop it.
Also, Musk is from Africa, he’s seen clearly what poor leadership can do.

President Trump mentioned inflation started when they raised energy prices. Obviously over spending is bad and contributes, but President Trump tried to drive home the point that energy prices are fundamental. That’s wht President Trump often says “drill baby, drill.”
Elon has a bit of a view on inflation that doesn’t get at the basics, likely because he doesn’t see the bigger energy picture, although later he agreed we shouldn’t cut off oil right now because we aren’t in a crisis. I think his views are tied into climate change, which he apparently thinks is a real problem.

I have mixed feelings about that. If it’s handled entirely by the states then the kids in the blue states will be brainwashed. I actually a federal curriculum that focuses on core topics, like what students learn in China, Japan, Korea, or India, needs to be mandated. If the schools want to brainwash kids, make them do it in after-school clubs WITH parental permission rather than waste precious class time.

They are now but I think with a Dept of Education and firm rules about curriculum the brainwashing in the blue states can be minimized. Imagine what it would be like if the Chicago or San Francisco or Portland or New York public schools were forced to spend all class time on traditional subjects and they had to push off the tranny indoctrination to an after-school club that parents could prohibit.
In theory, it is federalism. But packing up the U-haul and finding a state that does not teach kids to hate their country does not seem to me the best way to fix the problem. Would it not be better to pack the department of education with patriots?
