Only a small number of Americans understand the relationship between the U.S. State Dept (DoS) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). However, as more people understand how these two agencies operate, then people have a much more accurate context for how both agencies are viewed by the rest of the world.
Almost every deployed CIA operative has a cover profile within the State Dept. The foreign service missions of the DoS and CIA are so enmeshed there is literally no way to separate the functions of their agencies. [Go back to the Benghazi Attack for an operational reference] CIA/DoS have to be viewed through the prism of connection.
To better understand this concept, I use the following metaphor:
♦ The U.S State Dept and CIA operation is like a restaurant. The Dept of State is the front of the restaurant, with the Secretary as the Maitre D’. The CIA is the back of the restaurant, the kitchen. The Director is the Chef. The consulates are the wait staff. USAID are the food runners. The Dept of Defense are the bus boys.
The tables and chairs are assigned by the Maitre D’ according to their value. Countries viewed as more important get the best tables. The menus offered to each nation are completely different. Israel has a table in the kitchen. To get the best experience, tips (bribes) are required for everyone, from the parking valets outside, to the sommelier, to the server. Currently, Ukraine is the biggest tipper.
On the oversight aspect the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is the control mechanism to approve/install the Secretary of State. The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence is the control mechanism to approve/install the CIA Director. Everything therein and thereafter is a system of pretending it is something else.
The Dept of State (DoS) is so large there’s no way of addressing the inherent institutional corruption. The Secretary of State can control a small portion of DoS operations, but that’s usually only the geopolitical stuff we see discussed on television, in print media or in press conferences. The business functions of the DoS take place within a network of carefully guarded silos.
Perhaps, the first step in advancing an American-First policy, is to just stop the various administrative offices within the Dept of State from doing anything, literally anything. The challenge within DoS is massive, complex and complicated. I’m genuinely not sure what the Executive Branch mechanism is to do it, but we need to close the restaurant for a few months and do a deep cleaning.
On the back of the operation is the kitchen, the CIA.
It is a popular DC sentiment to say the CIA Director is the most powerful person within the intelligence apparatus. As the viewpoint is shared, it is the established secrecy within the mandate of the institution that gives them power.
Essentially, the CIA was created to be a place where dark arts (lying, spying, manipulation, tradecraft) would be approved and used at the discretion of the institutional leadership. As a consequence, there is no check on the CIA operational agenda. They are permitted by function and mandate, to lie to everyone about what they are doing; this includes the Office of the President.
Because they are essentially an unchecked intelligence silo within a government that has allowed the institution to hold unilateral power and self-policing, the CIA has a power within the apparatus unlike any other member. Inside the business model of foreign policy as a restaurant, the CIA are in control of the kitchen.
Together the DoS/CIA operate a shadow government, looking out for their best interest while generating power through large multinational institutions (corporations), spy agencies (5-eyes), banks, non-governmental agencies (NGAs) and various influence operations.
The activity of the CIA/DoS construct takes place regardless of who is president. Any hope of busting up this corrupt system is going to take a lot of strategic pounding while confronting the supportive element within the Senate at the same time. [Note this is why repealing the 17th amendment would make the work infinitely easier – and also why the 17th amendment was created by banking interests.]
When you stand back and look at the challenge of confronting the DoS and CIA, you can easily see why the Emissary was the first most important person I noted. If you are going to confront the domestic corruption within the DoS, you need the Emissary as a contact for specific foreign government leaders.
Under my sketch, the foreign policy of the USA shifts away from Foggy Bottom and directly back to the White House. This provides space to destroy the system through domestic confrontation. A new State Dept Secretary is going to have to push intensely and forcefully to support the goals of President Trump while understanding the internal effort is going to be much less glamorous, but historically far more important.
♦ The Secretary of State needs to have an understanding of the scale of the system underneath them, a comprehensive understanding of the opposition they will face from within that system, and the fortitude to keep playing whac-a-mole until the heads of the sub-silos are slowly removed. The person in this role needs to be a ‘high energy, smart, multitasker.’ The odds are all against them.
♦ The CIA Director needs the same type of understanding, and an impenetrable ability to put the USA interests above the interests of anyone else who has a table in the kitchen. Given the relationships within the aligned Western Intelligence Services, this is going to be a nerve-wracking challenge. As much as I want the CIA candidate to know the scale of the problem they will face, in one important way it might be more beneficial if the person didn’t know the scale of opposition they will face. This is a dark place.
This is a four-year plunge into one of the most corrupt enterprises at the heart of the DC swamp. The DoS/CIA are the guards of the drain. The drain is underneath decades of bile, silt, muck, scum, filth and horrible stuff.
Our candidates for these jobs need to be high-energy and full of equal parts determination, fortitude, piss and vinegar.

Inspired choices.
Just read this and saw the picture of your two choices over my belated morning ☕️ covfefe.
I shouted “YES!!!” so loudly I scared my two cats into bolting.
🐈⬛ Cat Lady for MAGA 🐈⬛ (yes we exist)
Ditto, we’ve got five we rescued on our rural property that have a cushy inside life now.
A MAGA agenda means I can afford to feed them and myself. 😀
For some reason the media takes off the “childless” part and emphasizes the “cat lady” part, which is an exactly reverse opposite backwards emphasis, thus completely wrecking the point.
I suspect very few Treehouse cat ladies are childless.
I must adopt a kitten 🐈⬛ immediately ⭐️
Maybe it’s time to make the teeshirts…
Get two! They are cute!
And they keep each other company.
Yes they do. Most of the cats I’ve had in my lifetime were pairs.
I adopted 2 kittens from our “Friends” rescue shelter. They are bout 8 months old now. Holy terrors. We are cat, dog, animal lovers. I encourage you to adopt a cat or kitten. Cats own their families, and can be so comforting…or not. I have a “nurse” kitty and a “sister” kitty. Nurse Kitty always responds if I call or “moan”. She is very protective. Sister will peak to see if serious. Stand offish but when she is lovable, it is wonderful. Both are fun. House cats.
We have house cats and barn cats. But barn cats think they are house cats.
Good for you, Kathie.
I only adopt black cats since I learned that evil doers use them for torture rites especially at Halloween.
Black cats seem to have laid back dispositions, aren’t demanding, but are smart and loyal. I adore my Chloe Valentina (she gifted herself to me on February 14).
Let us know what kitty chooses you.
Hmmmm I am a former cat 🐱lady. My sweet babygirl Muffie had to be dispatched over the rainbow 🌈 bridge about 6 months ago. She was very very sick with stomach cancer at about 14 years old. 😢
Even being kept busy with one tiny puppy(10 weeks old) and one year old still doesn’t take Muffie’s place.💁🏻♀️
Right there with you Steph_gray, my shout scared my roomie who had to come into my room to see if I was alright.
Query:
[Note this is why repealing the 17th amendment would make the work infinitely easier – and also why the 17th amendment was created by banking interests.]
17th created by the banking interests?
While I do not doubt this statement are there any particular references or citations for it?
It makes perfect sense because at rock bottom the American Civil War was about the money and the 17th Amendment followed the Civil War during the
Reconstructionpacification period.good question, perhaps Sundance can give us an article explaining the amendments connections to this agenda.
It was needed to keep the Federal Reserve Act intact.
The 17th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, ratified on April 8, 1913
December 1913: The Senate passes the Federal Reserve Act
December 23, 1913: President Woodrow Wilson signs the Act into law
I guess I managed to answer my own question. No coincidence in the timing? Some bankers were ready with the legislation to begin the legal steal as soon as the 17th was finally ratified.
February 1913 – 16th Amendment (federal income tax) ratified.
1913 – very bad year; USA on a death spiral ever since.
Wilson was one of the worst Presidents ever, and he won because Teddy Roosevelt ran as an independent taking away votes from the Republican candidate. 😬
He was a racist & a eugenicist, quite a combo! He was a terrible president & a worse human being.
At least a wrong path…
Everything thing from Woodrow Wilson should be repealed.
Flip Wilson and flip Obummer
19th amendment? 😏
I’m reading this as I’m watching President Trump’s news conference and he just fielded a question about campaigning in states where he is far ahead (Wyoming, Montana, etc). He said he’s campaigning for senate candidates because those races are so important and need America First people in those positions. He understands the task ahead in his next term and all the complexities being outlined by Sundance in this excellent series. May God protect him and have mercy on our country by overcoming the margin of fraud so he can have four years to start cleaning out the rot.
Grenell at State is solid. Hageman at the CIA, I’m not fully on board. She knows nothing about the Intell community. I like her, don’t me wrong, a lot, and she is likely a quick learner, but I still don’t think she is the right choice. The CIA needs to be decimated (and then some) and then recast. Is Harriet that person? BTW, I would think that PDJT would have a bee in his bonnet when it comes to the CIA.
Edit: Want to ask, who would be her Deputy? That’s just as important.
Tow of SD’s suggested requirements are “piss and vinegar.” The lady seems to have both in abundance:)
I agree with your second point, and actually it will apply to ALL of these major ‘hires’; not just the Cabinet but the sub, and even sub, sub cabinet positions need to be MAGA, or else they will stymie everything their boss is trying to do.
That’s part of general outline I see forming with “Staff” reports…which I usually have to read a couple of times for better clarity.
Ultimately – back to The People.
Would your opinion be different if you knew that Hagemann was a long time reader here?
This place is the master class, after all.
And I certainly don’t know and am not saying she is. But she could be – and sundance would know.
Just an idle thought.
Short answer: No.
I love Harriet. She would have been a great VP pick. For the CIA, that organization has more hidey hole programs and sub-silos than any organization. Previous exposure to the IC is a must. That said, if she’s the one (personally, I don’t see PDJT going with her) then she will need a kick-ass, 100% rabidly loyal (to her and the President) deputy who DOES know the organization/the system. But this organization also needs the personal attention of PDJT. He controls the purse strings and he controls the hiring and firing.
I agree completely! I was wondering where you were going to place Grinell and Hageman.
BUT, how are you going to get either of them thru the Senate conformation? Last time Grinell had to be a temporary appointment because of this.
Grenell was confirmed as Ambassador to Germany and acted as a Special Presidential Envoy, prior to the temporary appointment of ODNI, (late into President Trump’s first term) and Hageman is a sitting Congresswoman, which gives her a solid footing.
Being a sitting Congressperson USED to insure a smooth confirmation, but McConnell tore up that traditiin when PDJT nominated Rattcliffe.
A little blackmail can go a long way, towards smoothing out the confirmatiin process, however.
I hope there is LOTS of blackmail this time; It will be needed.
Pinheads like Mitch gotta go, too swampy. Same with Thune and Barrasso!
Pretty much every incumbent senator regardless of party.
every last senator should hit the bricks ASAP
not a single one gave Trump any recess appointments!
All one has to do is sit Mitch down and go:
You married into CCP. A founding family CCP. They own a shipping company. The same company’s ship ran into the bridge in B’more. Your sister-in-law “accidentally” backed her fully electric Tesla into a pond on her property and died…..Mitch, it would be a shame if everyone found out what the CCP was getting for their threats and blackmail. A darn shame if the public also found out you know the ship was going to hit the bridge….you own the company.
Did not know Glitch’s wife’s family owned that barge.
keep her in the house,we need more & not sure of her replacement.
Start by firing all the people at the top, at least 3 or 4 layers deep in every part of CIA and State. Add FBI to this list. Send a shock wave. Then threaten that you will fire anyone left who they still feel they can work with, and take away most of their funding unless they approve the appointees you are selecting. Then, threaten that you will declassify and expose some of their more egregious actions in history, such as murdering both Kennedys and perhaps MLK. Look into MK Ultra continuing. Operation Mockingbird. Maybe find some criminal actions that you can indict a few of them for, e.g., perjury (Brennan, Comey, Wray, et al.), murder, conspiracy to falsely accuse a president of treason (half of the upper level staff and maybe a couple senators). Maybe then a President can get the appointees that he wants.
Bravo SD. Agree totally on both.
Said it before. State of emergency by PDJT and fed troops taking out the big three abc agencies. Back to the basics. Stop the shooting, moving and communicating of these agencies. 90 day window to cool off and work Congress into severely impaling the funding for each. Brave and bold move. Fight Fight Fight. No bs…. 🔥🙏🏽
It’s essential that the people chosen for these positions be on the same MAGA page as President Trump and that they work together smoothly as a team to accomplish the President’s goals. Ric Grenell and Harriet Hageman are excellent choices.
Respectfully, Sundance, I believe the decision has already been taken to eliminate the CIA and transfer any necessary functions to the NSA.
“Impossible to clean.”
With respect to State, I agree that a Foreign Emissary is necessary for a direct line to the White House. A single Emissary for Foreign and Domestic is not feasible. The Foreign Emissary could expect to be traveling the world. When the foreign Emissary cat’s away the Domestic mice would play.
There needs to be a tag team attached at the hip, maybe fortified by a pre-existing deep personal friendship, between SoS and the Foreign Emissary.
Grenell as SoS would be excellent. Who to be his opposite number?
As to Hageman, sorry but non verba sed facta. She has not been battle tested, she doesn’t know DC, she has no previous experience with the CIA, and she’s better deployed in Congress.
Regarding the problem of the State Department, that’s really the Augean stables.
Every single employee- not just the Foreign Service or the Office of Legal Adviser, but down to the secretaries – is a globalist by education, training, and worldview.
Some of that love for the non-American cultures and the romance of the idea of serving abroad is just the people who that kind of job naturally attracts. But just like the original taint of J.Edgar at the FBI, the embedded taint of the white shoe Ivy League Dulles brothers crew is built into the very woodwork.
Indeed, in real life, the Diplomatic Reception Rooms really are very impressive, especially to the Old World mentality. Do you remember the scene in 1984 where Winston is invited into the house of his main tormentor, and it’s all very old English gentleman’s club furnishings? Same dynamic in real life.
The bottom 6 floors are all tile and cement block with colored lines on the walls so you can figure out where the hell you are. The 7th floor (mahogany or similar wood separate elevator even) is entirely aristocrat ready. Oriental carpets, really nice white table cloth dining room with a view of the Lincoln Monument.
When Hillary stole the lamps? They were really, really nice lamps.
The controllers built the system. They use the Foreign Service Exam and the selection process to screen out any MAGA types.
The whole structure is globalist, top to bottom.
Basically, you would need re-education camps that actually worked. Yuri Bezmenov has some helpful advice on that score. Ain’t gonna happen.
And, you can’t just shut it down. There are real American interests and functions abroad that simply must continue to be represented.
Ultimately, you just need to turn over the entire diplomatic corps and replace them with MAGA, and I don’t even know of a very good recruitment pool.
Maybe there is a pool of military vets somewhere. Maybe look to the Civilian Affairs officers who actively served in the GWOT.
My two cents.
Been wondering while reading all of the comments if there aren’t current state level governors or AGs who have demonstrated their MEGA creds who could fill some of these administration roles? They might not be widely known outside of their home states but could adapt to the DC wars. Maybe look at those red state AGs who have gone after the current administration.
I had only heard before about the Clintons looting the White House.
Did not know Hilliary stole lamps from the State Department as well.
Learn something new every day here, don’t we?
Absolutely positively outstanding in a field of swamp potatoes. Carrying a potato fork followed by a moldboard plow……
Grenell all the way 👍🏼.
Harriet Hageman for Speaker of the House. Congress (leadership anywhere) is her immediate strength IMO. No time for learning.
CIA 🤔👀🥸
POTUS has no control over Speaker, who the House votes on, and no way HH will be elected Speaker.
I respect your opinion and understand. I believe hitting the ground running is most important.
How about Ronny Jackson, true blue PTrump or possibly Elise Stefanik?
No to elise for sure from me. She is a snake, sneaky, and would mold her to fit dofs/cia’s goals…not the POTUS.
Elise Stefanik is on Board of Directors…of NED.
So that would be a giant NO from me.🤢
Now Harriet as speaker is very interesting. Humm
I like Ric and Harriet. Both have proven to be trustworthy and loyal to the USA. I would like to see Lee Zeldin and/or Kat Cammack in charge of USAID or other groups within the DoS. I use to listen to Webster Tarpley long ago. One rant that stuck in my mind is that he said: “Who started the CIA…Wall Street Lawyers!!!”
A good book to read….
The Devils Chessboard
It covers the history of CIA 🤨
You may be surprised 😮
The three books that helped me understand how things connect are: Rule by Secrecy (deepstate), The Prize (oil) and The Soong Dynasty (China). Rule by Secrecy you can find free pdf downloads online. The later chapters go off into deep CT, but I found it to be a good intro. It covers the CIA/OSS as well.
I started this interview, but so far it’s a bit slow and I will get back to it later:
https://www.c-span.org/video/?400034-1/the-devils-chessboard
Love Lee Zeldin. I would love to see him be included somewhere in the administration.
Move the business functions of State somewhere else. Let Commerce handle passports, visas, consular operations. Abolish ambassadors which are just political payoffs, including the career (Deep State) people. Unnecessary in light of modern communications anyway. No diplomatic cover for spies until we are convinced they are on our side. Completely cut diplomatic relations with EU countries. Let them maintain relations via the EU. End Five Eyes.
Ambassadors are very necessary. They act on behalf of the President… his voice, his ears. Also, every country has them…
Not realistic.
No to most of your suggestions. We need passport and visa services around the world, which makes it State’s natural job. Officially appointed ambassadors are how diplomatic communications are carried out by all nations; any attempt to replace them with “modern” communications would end up drowned in bots and scams.
But yes, terminate Five Eyes. Some of them need to pay for their complicity in Deep State interference.
Trump staffing? He hasn’t even won. Harris polls are rising as long as she’s kept on teleprompter (like Biden in the basement) is working. The assassination attempt on Trumps life is already waning and will be forgotten by election date. Wisconsins road map to steal ballots in counties will work unless….what? The goal as 2020 for democrats is to project a plausible evidence of win. No civil war. Dems have Obama, Holder and Rice and the rest of vile organizations that support a Marxist on party rule. I live in California we all know about cheating and one party rule to have the country run like this, is unthinkable. Republicans have who, other than Trump, to win? Please don’t tell me it’s the voters as we all know it’s not the votes it the ballots.
So, then why don’t you just “end it all” since you obviously are convinced “all is lost”,…and you imply without actually saying “why bother voting”, so another attempt at MAGA voter suppression, with a tag-team.
How,….boring.
Geez….really? Doesn’t this feel like 2020 all over again? All is lost was never in the comment. The comments are what they are please none of your projections or interpretations.
“Republicans have who, other than Trump, to win?”
God is on our side! Are you praying for His help?
Do your part in prayer as you seem to think voting is ineffective or obsolete.
God needs help from no-one – though He can do His work through anyone He chooses.
Ask Him for His help for our One Nation Under God. He’s the only One Who can bring about that huge change needed – to clean this government out and turn this country around.
How … rude.
No, he’s honest. If all is lost, pack sand.
And if you and KT have better ideas…hop to it. Instead of being keyboard warriors hit the streets. Do something…..
but then, KT may just be Patriot Front, Antifa, KH paid influencers, etc……rude? Nah. Sick and tired of BS yes.
Think critically. Act diligently. Never waiver. But then, I’m a rust belt born arse hole who watch where I grew up fall to pieces by the same fools 40 plus years ago still serving in Congress.
And MAGA does not participate much in that polling activity.
I agree it’s an uphill long shot that Trump can overcome the election manipulations in most states. The threat of assasination is continuous both now and even if he is in office. Nonetheless, if he makes it into office the best possible plan with the best possible team of human resources must be made now and immediately initiated. With all his faults and human limitations, Trump is the only person living with the momentum and popularity that might make it. The foundation has to be laid to build on the next presidents term or any changes will be reversed.
KT, Your comment needs to be on a different thread.
And read or reread the CTH rules.
Ya beat me to it, Yea, thank you!
Trump staffing….this comment is appropriate to the thread.
Agree and Brian Simpson too.
Winning comes before staffing, I think. 🤔
Oh please. How you can you be part of the conversation with such a defeatist attitude. We all know the polls are heavily weighted to the left…especially now. It is common knowledge that the Harris Poll org is heavy dem leaning organization as are many others. Please try to expand your poll reading, if you must follow the polls. If Trump does not win, we will need to proceed to the next step. That will be UNpretty and messy. Level up.
The polls lean heavy to cover the cheat….please tell me where I’m wrong.
You are not wrong. We can expect the Dems to cheat. Remember, the “polls” showed The Shrieking Shrew had an overwhelming lead in 2015.
So, in that case, pay no attention to the “polls”. Ignore them and while you’re at it ignore the MSM propaganda. I have done so since 2015.
It is mind manipulation on a massive scale. We have to fight the negativity espoused by many.
I for one, am very positive. It will be a hard battle and it may be a very close election; however, I remain committed to a conservative win.
Don’t pay any attention to the ridiculous manipulated polls.
The big difference is there is no Covid for this election. Covid was the catalyst for counting all those mail-in ballots, and states changing their election laws.
They will still cheat but can they do it on as large a scale as 2020? Maybe, but in many states, laws have been passed to make cheating more difficult, and voter rolls have been cleaned up.
But I agree it will still come down to the critical mid-western states that will determine the outcome.
Big difference between “defeatist” and “realist.” I took his/her comments as expressing valid concerns.
I thought they were a bit of both but I respect her right to speak them. We don’t see eye to eye and that’s just fine.
Polls schmolls…
Wait ’til everybody has time to take a good look at Tampon Tim.
People will be running for the hills.
Consider this: pre-staffing may be a fantastic idea because if PT wins, he will need to move very hard and very fast. He just can’t do that without trusted people in place, ready to go.
Notice how every candidate, regardless of office, says “On Day One I’ll do xxx?” I honestly wouldn’t put it past PT that, once he has been sworn in and his hand is off that Bible, his pre-selected team goes into action (if that’s legal…) And that might include any number of Marshalls or Sheriffs nationwide to maintain law and order.
I’d love to see him go the “pen and a phone” route:)
Fionnagh, “I honestly wouldn’t put it past PT that, once he has been sworn in and his hand is off that Bible, his pre-selected team goes into action (if that’s legal…)”
Yes! That is what he did Term 1- he was sending out executive orders like a machine day 1! This time is even more important he hits the ground running.
I will say that gloom and doom is not productive and now with so many options to get involved to make a difference in the cheating, there is no excuse not to get involved and just whine. I have come to read such comments as intentional efforts to decrease voter morale which is a losing strategy with MAGA nation.
Zzzz…
You nailed it
GR 8 nominations !! who are capable of the task ahead.
You Sir are a Genius! I really liked Ric Grenell in his previous job for Mr. Trump as well!
.
We (MAGA), specifically PDJT, need to control the Senate in order to get these wolverines confirmed.
Getting anyone SD would recommend confirmed by the senate seems a HUGE lift.
.
Given this….

”As much as I want the CIA candidate to know the scale of the problem they will face, in one important way it might be more beneficial if the person didn’t know the scale of opposition they will face.
————————
I think Hageman is a great choice.
That said, my (uninformed) alternative recommendation for Hageman is…
….Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA).
NOTE: I do not know if Higgins has background vulnerabilities that would make him unsuitable. SD left it unstated, but whomever would be selected for this role has to be invulnerable to blackmail, with no skeletons in the closet. I also don’t know if Higgins is smart enough for the role, as it requires the ability to be highly resistant to psychological manipulation. That said, Higgins does seem to be determined, has fortitude in abundance, and is unquestionably full of MAGA piss and vinegar. The other thing he would seem to possess is the mental/emotional preparedness to see and deal with “decades of muck, scum, filth, and horrible stuff”.
.
Ric Grenell as SoS is a no-brainer. Perfect for the job, and he has earned it, too.
.
If McConnell and Schumer (and others) are in jail, the confirmation problems go away. You guys are still acting like this will be a normal administration. It won’t be, it can’t be. Two lines were crossed. 1. the 2020 coup d’etat, and 2. they actually shot Trump, nearly murdering him. They MUST pay for both of them beginning on Day 1. Not later.
The CIA and State Department Heads need to stop the forever wars.
That’s all they need to know!
Ric Grinell is no surprise. Harriet Hageman would do the job and the appointment would blow the minds of the bad guys.
Always MAGA 👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good choices.
At every step they reveal themselves, and it has to be stopped. I hope Grenell and Hageman can do it.
“Retired U.S. Army General Paul M. Nakasone is a leading expert in cybersecurity, technology advancement, and global cyber defense. In his career as an Army officer, he was pivotal in the creation of U.S. Cyber Command. He was the longest-serving leader of USCYBERCOM and also led the National Security Agency, where he was charged with safeguarding the United States’ digital infrastructure and advancing the country’s cyberdefense capabilities. He has served in command and staff positions across all levels of the United States Army with assignments with elite cyber units in the United States, the Republic of Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan.”
https://openai.com/index/openai-appoints-retired-us-army-general/
And where is he now?
And why?
(That second question is genuine, I don’t know the real answer as to why)
Open AI under Theil & Musk
Solid recommendation.
Ric Grenell definitely for SoS! He would be very good in this role.
Harriet Hageman, whom I love, would likely be better at Interior given her family history and respect for the land. That dept needs a massive clear out of the greenies/commies who are preventing drilling and mining. It is a very important agency in the MAGA mission.
Of course, she would be EPIC in any leadership role.
I was wondering, would it be feasible to create a crack team that could rotate into different agencies once they have set each on the path necessary? Would they have to be confirmed more than once if they moved around?
The DOS and CIA are the “Deep State” with a few other agencies thrown in for good measure.
Obama spent a good part of his “Presidency” completely overhauling all the agencies especially those who operate in secret away from the public’s eye.
Obama and his ummmm fellow Marxists and traitors like Valerie Jarrett, John Brennan and James Klapper etc etc etc have made Obama virtually bulletproof.
I have faith that President DJT WHEN RE-ELECTED for the third time will tear down these “Government” agencies and start from top to bottom.
DOS LOOKS LIKE A MOSQUE AND PROTECTS ITS OWN!
This is why there is such a marked change in Middle East policy.💁🏻♀️
Thank you Sundance, Stella and/or Menagerie for giving me tips for using pw protected articles.❤️
Obama may be slightly, temporarily “bulletproof,” but he’s not prison proof. John Brennan is THE most evil man in America. He was one of the two men who “discovered” Obama and trained him. Brennan is the one behind most of what has been happening to Trump. Him & his little dopey stooge Clapper. Brennan ran the Obama White House, Val Jar was Obama’s “Minder.”
Which makes Obama just another idiot puppet with no brain
Those two men should be the first in line to the gallows.
1913:. 17th Amendment provided for direct election of Senators by the voters of the State. It altered the electoral mechanism established in Article I, Section 3, of the Constitution, which had provided for the appointment of senators by the state legislatures.
The ostensible reason for the amendment was to reduce the influence of big business and other special interests on the selection of senators and to prevent vacancies or frequent turnover in the Senate caused by party wrangling or changes of party leadership at the state level.
However, at this time, the Fed was created and the federal income tax was created. The ostensible reason for the creation of the Fed was to stabilize banks and prevent foreclosures in panics and bank runs. The real reason the Fed was created was to create a monopoly, a cartel of banking interests free from any and all competition, to control the supply of money in the US.
Following the creation of the Fed, it has been observed that the US has experienced a never ending series of recessions, the Great Depression, The Global Financial Crisis, and unending indebtedness of the American people who have lost all but 2% of the value of their currency due to inflation since the creation of the Fed.
Conservatives have called for repeal of the 17th Amendment on the grounds that it undermined the balance of power between the federal and state governments.
It would be helpful if those in a position of knowledge could explain the relationship of the 17th Amendment to balance of power issues. Why would the popular vote for Senators undermine the balance of power between state and federal government?
I am no academic or Constitutional scholar, but offer the following opinion. Consider the 10th Amendment as the visionary understanding (and fear) of the founding fathers as a part of understanding the impact of the 17th.
“Tenth Amendment
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
The founders were acutely aware of the dangers of consolidated power in government, and embraced the concept of “checks and balances” in numerous stratagems withing the framework of a federal government. No clearer exemplar of this can be found in the grammar of the original Declaration of Independence, where it refers to the …united States of America. The design of the Senate by the Founders was to ensure the central government was always restrained by the interests of the several states since the members were appointed by the State Legislatures directly. The Tenth was meant to give teeth to the idea that the power of the federal government was limited to those defined in the language of the Constitution , not the ever expanding “penumbra” that liberards have created, along with the Commerce Clause, to essentially repeal any meaning to the Tenth.
Was Fed renewed in 2013?
Wanna hurt the ( ca i )? Install a director who covertly outs it’s operatives.
Use the workaround rule ( see R Grenell ) to get around advise and consent and install your person.
If advise and consent flunks your 1st pick, make your 1st pick Deputy Secretary to your work around installed person.
Agree with you Sundance, but how do you get Congress to confirm them ?
Senate recess first day. Need that 1 willing Senator. Will have to be able to withstand the onslaught and not invited to cocktail parties.
Which is why I wonder if JD Vance would have had better utility in the Senate.
Here’s what I found pertaining to time limits on recess appointments…
How Long Does a Recess Appointment Last? A recess appointment expires at the sine die adjournment of the Senate’s “next session.” Where the President has made a recess appointment between sessions of the same or successive Congresses, this appointment has expired at the end of the session that next convened. Where he has made the appointment during an intrasession recess, however, the duration of the appointment has included the rest of the session in progress plus the full length of the session that followed.
At any point in a year, as a result, by making a recess appointment during an intrasession recess, a President could fill a position not just for the rest of that year, but until near the end of the following year. In practice, this has meant that a recess appointment could last for almost two years.
More info on recess appointments… <CRS.gov .pdf file
Recess appointments are two years!
Season tickets to Mar A Lago
By sending a message. By having Schumer and McConnell (and others) captured on Day 1.
Work arounds if they do not confirm.
I still like Ric Grenell in something other than State…..he’d be wasted there.
If Eric Trump wasn’t willing to be the Emissary, I think Ric would be perfect for that job and his making his bones as Ambassador to Germany will make his job as Emissary have more oomph.
We need a guy that is able to walk into the room with a mission and the people he speaks with fully understand that DJT is speaking to them and that their replies will be conveyed word for word without edits.
Ric is a MAGA warrior and the Europeans can’t stand him because he isn’t afraid to tell them that they’re balls assed nekkid! That’s the kind of guy we need–DJT’s “evil” twin.
Sundance- yes, yes, yes! True Americans through and through these two. I like how you think 😉
And it would make Ditzy Lizzy go absolutely bonkers.
And a couple boxes checked, “what, you have something against _____ and ______?”
I see this as a problem of control … and I think they is a way to start gaining control
1) ban all personal phones/tablets from SD and CIA offices (held at security on entry)… (firing offense if caught using a personal device on-site)
2) with some exceptions disable internet access to forbidden sites (everything is forbidden unless on an approved list)
3) ban all contact with media (unless its your job to specifically talk to media) monitor all internet or phone traffic to ensure compliance (again a firing offense if caught)
4) ban use of any 3rd party communication apps on company devices (some exceptions for case officers in the field)
5) suspend until paid anyone with outstanding tax liens … fire if not resolved with 6 months
cutting off their network of communication is a start …
also identify ringleaders of resistance, find their circle of friends and find excuses to fire them all, if firing not possible relocate their jobs to Alaska of some other remote outpost …
Please dont sully Alaska 🙂 Paperclip counter…..we need more paperclip counters. Don’t like your new job, you can always leave.
Or maybe thumb tacks. Careful now, they have sharp ends. Or maybe copy paper counter. Dang those paper cuts hurt like the dickens.
This is the head of the snake! Getting close enough to lop it off is going to be a monumental task. I defer to you Sundance on this one. Whomever he chooses needs to deceive the gate keepers of the confirmation process.
A little off subject but a little on-subject too … This story talks about the wildfires in Wyoming, and then goes a little deeper into the childhood of Rep. Hageman
https://cowboystatedaily.com/2024/08/03/wildfire-burns-harriet-hagemans-family-homestead-more-evacuations-ordered/
“It was a very old log house, with very thick walls because they didn’t split the wood. It was very cold in the wintertime,” she recalled. “We had one woodburning stove, and we would take Montgomery Ward catalogs when we were younger and put them on the stove and heat them through, and then wrap them in fabric and take them to bed to stay warm.”
Oh, great! We have always suspected this corruption and depth, but where to start. Start with Trump, then each position.
I am not sure Carson is mean enough for emissary when comes to the DoS/CIA.
However, I am of the mind that both Ric and Harriet would make excellent candidates for the position respectively.
What a job. Well, when we let the housework go for very long periods, not just filth on top, but way down deep. Like bleach on the mold. We are being suffocated by mold allowed to wander for decades.
Lord have mercy on us.
Thank you Sundance.
The Emissary wouldn’t have to be mean. He just carries the message. His loyalty and honesty, trustworthiness and ability to keep quiet would be his most qualifying traits. I think that defines Ben Carson.
“The Emissary wouldn’t have to be mean.”
True.
But he would absolutely, positively require SS-level protection. Protection that is on the same level of trust as that placed in him (and I now consider the SS deeply compromised and untrustworthy).
Grenell 100%
Wouldn’t a Hageman appointment pave the way for the return of Liz Cheney?
What’s the general feeling on Stefanik? She seems like a fighter
Stefanik is on Board of Directors of…NED.
NED works tandem with USAID.
She is owned by the Deep State.
I would not consider her for ANY position in President Trump Administration 😑
Ah, I did not know that. The collective knowledge o. This site is incredible
OK, I agree with Sundance here. And he’s 100% correct about what “it” is and how it’s working currently. Why does the fix have to be soooo complicated and fraught with dangers? One; the cia (no matter what situation they have finagled over the years) IS under control of POTUS. POTUS IS the boss. He can fire any or all cia personnel, or eliminate the entire agency with a stroke of his pen. Same with Foggy Bottom. Fire them all on Day 2, and rebuild from the top down. In fact, I would NEVER rebuild the cia, ever, and I would destroy their server farms worldwide making certain that there were no copies made or hidden anywhere. Most of the personnel would\should be in prison. I also would get out of 5 eyes. They spied on Trump and were involved in the 2020 coup, especially the Brits and the Aussies. We don’t have time for machinations, we must have targeted strikes that eliminate the traitors right away. We can’t have them lurking about causing trouble. They must be neutralized.
Getting rid of an agency that keeps tabs on our foreign adversaries in its entirety is not a good idea. I agree with the dismantling of The Company however what do you replace it with?
Those are excellent choices. Ric Grenell certainly has the high energy and piercing insight into the depths of the corruption. And I have been hoping that Harriet Hageman would have some role in the new administration. I consider her to be highly intelligent and trustworthy. This administration is coming together nicely with your choices Sundance. Thanks for confirming the opinions I’ve had about your choices.
Excellent.
Sundance
You rock my Gatekeeper
Love to you

General personnel comment:
If people are good fighters in congress, I am NOT for taking them out of congress for one president’s term. They are needed where they are to help pass the president’s agenda and gain some power in congress so they can continue the fight when that president’s term is over.
Similarly, if people are being strong governors, I am NOT for taking them out of their positions for one president’s term.
Trump’s endorsement controls who replaces those taken to fill cabinet positions.
And those selections would come from deep red seats, as Hageman does.
Thank you SD! Superb Wolverine tandem! You did not disappoint on Grenell and the context you provided is very appreciated.
It will be a FIERCE fight to get these two confirmed!
“just stop the various administrative offices within the Dept of State from doing anything, literally anything”
This is the overarching key concept for the entire enchilada. Who will do this? Will either of these two names do this?
Speaking as a CPA, you really need someone like Ben Aflac’s The Accountant to do the heavy lifting.
No policy can be implemented without a dollar flow.
Map out the dollar flow, then you’ve mapped out the policy activities.
Stop the dollar flow, then you stop the policy activities.
That’s what fraud / forensic accountants do.
“Perhaps, the first step in advancing an American-First policy, is to just stop the various administrative offices within the Dept of State from doing anything, literally anything:
EXACTLY and PERFECT strategy from our perspective having worked in D.C.
The sound will be like boulders in the gears and not sand! The screams will be heard ’round the world!
Is there a category for “protected” posts?
For those related to PDJT’s projected administration, they appear to consolidate here
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/category/president-trump/2025-term-2/
Older ones, IDK. I checked one I had bookmarked, a personal Q&A with Sundance, and it was in “Uncategorized”, a catch-all category.
Wait……
Don’t we need at least one black, hispanic, or asian lesbian somewhere in the cabinet?
😜
What did Ted Kennedy say…….something about someone’s got to serve the drinks or wait on the tables or something like that?
The Arkansas Peckerwood (BJ Clinton) said to the Hero of Chappaquiddick that “he should be bringing us coffee” in reference to The Lightbringer (Obama) when it was first announced that Ozero was going to run for Preezy.
Probability is if you shut the DoS down most likely nobody will notice.
Shut it down and see who starts complaining then address the complaint outside of DoS.
If you can’t shut it down task everybody at DoS to calculate Pi to a trillion decimals and report on it daily or hand out Chinese finger traps.
Any challenge or initiative or campaign against the CIA/MIIC is going to involve pushback and more.
Every appointee will be aware that he or she is a target.
There is plenty of controversy and deniability around the death of Harrison Deal in GA after the 2019/20 election. The governor and establishment GOP likely understood that the crash/explosion (explosion in a highway accident, strange) was meant as a warning shot.

One doesn’t like to say it, but top appointees who are in a struggle with the deep state probably shouldn’t have children, who can be easily targeted. In that respect, Grinnell is a good choice. I don’t think Hagman has kids, but I may be wrong.
There are trillions at stake. What value is one life if it leverages power and riches to your side?
If the deep state is willing to Butler-ize President Trump, I don’t doubt at all it will eliminate less formidable opposition.
Excellent! Both are top tier.
Well said and great suggestions… may Hod be with us.
I’m glad to see that the password to these posts is not being given out in the Presidential Daily Thread and folks are being directed to email the Administrators to get it! 👍🏻. Gotta keep the spiders away! 🕷️.
Ooooooo, Harriett Hageman as CIA Director, I didn’t see that one coming! What a pick! She would destroy the bastards and their secrets and straighten things out for sure. She knows her stuff. What a fantastic Director she would be. And, Ric Grenell, the only real choice for Secretary of State.
