This gentleman was shocked, confused and justifiably anxious. He was pitifully begging bring his medications with him to the police station. I felt sick.

You can’t infiltrate a general strike where people just stay home for a month or two. Firing everyone only makes the problem worse.
My sense is the opposition’s commitment ends where their Ethernet cable connects to the wall.

I write this a lot, but imagine in the US if 40-50% of the country stopped going to work for a month and purchased absolutely nothing other than basic food and utilities/housing.

Merseyside is claiming that EDL has joined the protests in Southport. The EDL hasn’t existed for over 10 years. They’re fed up citizens who have had enough.
