The introduction is here [CATCH UP], I am not going to slow down, re-review and/or rewrite anything. We have a limited amount of time, and the focus of these outlines is easy to understand.
In the next few weeks, I am going to write very specifically about who might be best suited for roles and responsibilities. Not from the perspective of the person per se’, but rather from the perspective of a fully understandable context for the position; the reality of what can be pragmatically accomplished, and detailed reasoning for why the challenge they will face exists. Today I focus on “the emissary.”
Without a doubt in my mind, the “emissary” is the most important person President Trump will select.
The Washington DC Intelligence Community (IC) actively work to isolate the office of the president. This is an almost impossible dynamic to avoid, caused by an entrenched and ideological adversary who has dug themselves deep into the apparatus of government.
The “emissary” is the person who carries the word of President Trump to any person identified by President Trump. The emissary is very much like a tape recording of President Trump in human form. The emissary travels to a location, meets a particular person or group, and then recites the opinion of the President. The words spoken by the emissary, are the words of President Trump.
The IC cannot inject themselves into this dynamic; that is why it is so valuable.
The emissary then hears the response from the intended person or group, repeats it back to them to ensure he/she will return with clarity of intent as expressed, and then returns to the office of the presidency and repeats the reply for the President. The emissary recites back exactly what he was /is told.
This process is critical when you understand how thoroughly compromised the full Executive Branch is. More importantly, this process becomes even more critical when you accept the Intelligence Community will lie to the office of the President to retain their position.
Read this next sentence slowly…. If the Senate confirms a director of an IC silo, then that director is demonstrably going to lie to the office of the President.
The Senate only confirms Intelligence Community leadership who are willing to LIE to THE PRESIDENT. This is just a factual reality.
If the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) confirms them, they will lie. That is the main role of the SSCI.
The people who constructed the Silos then metastasized the control rot within them, use the term “continuity of government,” to describe the true role and responsibility of the system. This is not factually wrong.
Where people go wrong is misunderstanding what the “continuity” is that is being maintained. Truly, the continuity of government is the priority. However, it’s the continuity of currently corrupt and immoral government we are now maintaining.
The CIA Director will lie to President Trump (they did, remember). The FBI Leadership will lie to President Trump (they did, remember). The AG will lie, the DNI will lie, the NSA will lie, and all the deputies therein will lie.
Washington DC puts it this way, you probably heard Bill Barr talking about ad-infinitum. The IC leadership is responsible for maintaining the “continuity of government” at all costs. The government is more important than The President.
If the continuity of government is maintained by lying to the office of the President, then so be it. Or, as James Comey said when justifying his lies to the President and his manipulation on March 20th, 2017: “because of the sensitivity of the matter.”
You can get as angry as you want about this, it’s just the DC system that exists. We must deal with what exists, not what we would pretend there to be.
If a candidate for an IC position is not willing to lie to the President, the Senate will not confirm him/her. This is why President Trump needs an emissary.
The role of the emissary is critical, the qualifications for that role are extremely important.
Remember, this person is speaking on behalf of President Trump. And representing the responding voice with a similar level of clarity.
The emissary must be of incredible moral character. They must be honest. The person should be entirely altruistic. They must have exceptional judgement, possess no ego, be impervious to scrutiny or review. They must maintain themselves at the highest moral standards at all times and exhibit incredible judgement and wisdom.
Due to the nature of the position the emissary is extremely powerful; therefore, a disposition of humility is also critical. The President must be able to trust this person without reservation or issue. At the same time, the entire weight of the U.S. Intelligence Community apparatus will seek to compromise the emissary, as they try to put walls around the President who holds silo-busting power.
Honesty, integrity, humility, trustworthiness, unimpeachable character and exceptional judgement, establish the baseline of traits the emissary must possess.
This is a choice that will be deeply important to President Trump. Fortunately, it is not a position that requires any confirmation or external approval. Judgement, discernment, wisdom and silence are the strength characteristics.
From my perspective, I can think of only one qualified candidate, Dr Ben Carson. However, I could be wrong – I do not know the sum total of the people around President Trump.

.
[Next up, the National Security Advisor. Most of the familiar names are brutally disqualified for this position, based on judgement.]

For NSA Director I recommend former NSA Director Mike Rodgers. He has already proven his loyalty to his country and to President Trump.
I don’t think Sundance thinks so.
I agree! During the entire three years of the Russian Collusion Dossier hoax investigation by Weissman and the 17 Angry Democrats from Brooklyn you never heard Adm Mike Rogers defend President Trump once!
You mean Adm. Mike Roger’s, ex-head of the NSA?
This should be the message: You’re fired!
Can;t fire them?
You’re transferred! (to some insignificant crap outpost on Alaska that does not have pens or phones or computers)
Replacing any positions with influence with any arbitrary person from the street is a step up at this point.
The IC will be running circles just to maintain their perceived power. When it looks like they have things under control fire / transfer another echelon.
The policy should be simple: the exact polar opposite of the build back better crap.
OK, but I suggest ‘downtown’ Gary, Indiana for all transfers, rather than Alaska. And they have to go to the office – no zoom, just write status reports.
Eventually, this might have a benefit in addition to isolating (away from DC and away from honest agency employees) those who undermine and defy the President – it might make it safer for the citizens there afterenough transfers.
Hey, what have you got against Indiana? 😉
We’ve already got an overt RINO problem as evidenced by Mike Pence and Todd Young.
Don’t import more miscreants, please.
The globalist agenda is too prevalent and we’ve got Illinois to the west and Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota to our north.
Yep, we’re surrounded by the enemy.
I was stunned when I made a wrong turn headed to Purdue, and ended up in ‘downtown’ Gary.
So stunned that I still can’t think of a better place to transfer any of the 12,000 or so ‘senior executive service’, unfireable-by-the-President employees who undermine or ignore the President’s policies and orders.
And their too-high salaries would enrich Indiana, while being given the tasks of picking up trash and cleaning up as their official duties directed by the President as part of their transfer away from DC.
President undermining employees are like radioactive waste which no one wants nearby. Gary would be like yucca mountain for scheming government employees who misuse the authority of their positions. But they could be isolated there to prevent damage to the rest of the great state of Indiana.
I’m not a lawyer. Based on the SCOTUS immunity decision, looks to me like the President can fire anybody in the Executive Branch because the President IS Zthe Executive Branch. Doesn’t even need a pen or phone.
Yes but it shouldn’t have taken SCOTUS to affirm this- it’s pretty clear in the Constitution. However, SD articulates daily why where here. That ruling was tbe first shot across the bow at the IC and other DS creatures.
Greenland would have been ideal, in retrospect!
But would such an emissary be allowed to deal with classified information between the IC and the President?
The position is not emissary to the IC, it’s emissary to all President Trump wishes to communicate in confidence.
He may not have independent access to classified documents and systems, but doesn’t need it, he goes from the President to his interlocutors, what he needs is in his head, given by the President and those he is communicating with.
President Trump can share documents with him, none can stop him, no authorization is required from underlings.
Furthermore, I consider that the Derp State must be destroyed!
It has to be Sundance.
I have long wished to see Sundance as PDJT’s trusted advisor, but as anonymous as he now is.
What position exactly does the emissary fill? While you paint a pretty picture of the role, there are no “hands” for POTUS in the US govt. Why should we focus on an imaginary position and who fits it when no such position exists?
Go to the start of the discussion, the links are there
The whole point is that the Emissary is NOT a formal, executive branch position. There is no OPM job code. They are a personal liaison. They represent PDJT not the “US Government” with total loyalty only to PDJT not “the government.” (Because by “government” we really mean the IC-controlled Swamp.)
Many past presidents have had emissaries. FDR had Harry Hopkins. JFK had Bobby.
SD explained that re: the Senate confirmation process. The Emissary would not need Senate approval.
This site may be too deep for you.
I agree with Carson, he is one of the only independent folks in D.C.
I love Russ Vought. He has proven his ability to stand up under fire, wicked smart, knows ALL about how the corrupt, wasteful, bribe-filled DC finance goes, excellent character, proven loyalty.
Of course, if he could be head of OMB (as he was before), he would shine as well.
That’s a name I hadn’t thought of.
Yes, Russ needs to be in some key role – but maybe not this one.
I win.
It’s like living a WEB Griffin novel. Only real.
It is interesting how so many novels are based on the stuff that goes on.
Tom Clancy certainly had eyes and ears inside the swamp. I miss his novels. I imagine if he wrote one today it would scare me to an early death.
There are many ways to approach this problem.
For matters of state, employ special envoys to the governments of interest. Avoid official channels.
For IC, propose a comprehensive reorganization. Promotions and turf are all-so-important. They will fight among themselves.
I was going on the assumption that Ben Carson is “too fragile” health-wise which SD wrote about, which is why I didn’t pick him. If Carson can do the job, I’m all for him. If not, I would suggest Barron Trump.
His mother wants Barron no where near politics after the attempted assassination!
Barron is 18 years old. Even by Revolutionary War standards, that is exceptionally young for this kind of endeavor.
Peter Navarro
The Great Mark Steyn. (This would be hilarious and brilliant).
James Woods.
Press Secretary?
How fun would that be?
Dear Sundance,
As I read your article, the pivot points, the need for absolute honesty required of the Emissary, the machinations that go on within the DC swamp, the need for forthright honesty the Emissary must communicate to President Trump, the only name I could come up, and the one name I hoped you would post, was Dr Ben Carson! He can be trusted.
A true man of God! At least that is my opinion of him.
Thank you Sundance for your insight and dedication to us, your Treepers.
God bless
Ben Carson in Tucker’s recent interview was so superb.
He is of God. His spirit is so in tune. He seems like he has aged as we all have. He is even more wise.
Someone send him relief factor and Chuck Norris’ powder.
May I be so blunt as to say even Bongino has spoken up about people we thought were good guys but are not.
Can we do discernment on Lin Wood, Patrick Byrne, even Ka$h Patel & Flynn? Many trusty the planners are frightening I think Sydney and Louie Gohmert were given bad intel on purpose and are good people. The rest I am not sure.
Hannity had on Pompeo. Why is this guy suddenly everywhere?
He’s been a Fox “contributor” for a few years.
Pompeo = deep deep state. (former CIA Dir.)
They think that since he seemed to have a fairly positive reputation as Trumps SOS, then he can be “sold” once agin to serve (spy & influence) inside Trump’s White House.
I hope not. I hope PDJT is aware of that deep state chameleon’s dark side.
I hope not as well GB. Was supposed to clean up State which didn’t happen, wanted to put a contract out on Assange and prepared/strongly rumored to run for POTUS against DJT. Hope he gets a hard pass.
Horrific.
I believe Lin Wood is a very honorable man.
That is why ‘they’ are literally trying to destroy him.
He’s been on my phone. (Pompeo) and I had to stop him.
Surely someone knows more about these people than I do, but since I have been watching some of them for just under four years, it appears I know more about them than many people do. So here’s my take:
Lin Wood – I wish I could trust him, he says some good things, but since early on he has not played straight with people I do trust.
Patrick Byrne – has the most interesting, adventurous biography I’ve found since Eddie Rickenbacker, which means nothing he says or does is going to sound all that normal. But I have found him very consistent, and I think everything I’ve heard him say turned out to be true, though usually somewhat later than he said it would. Looks like Jack Smith’s attack on PDJT fell apart because of Byrne. I am still going on his recommendation from four years ago to “vote twice more – in 2022 and 2024 – and if we don’t have things fixed by then it won’t matter if you vote after that.” Over four years, Byrne has been at odds with some of the people I trust, and both sides said nasty things, but he reconciled with them, which I respect.
Kash Patel – I have not followed very closely but seems like he would be saying more about elections if he were a serious person.
Mike Flynn – I have not watched his movie yet so I really don’t know much about him, and I’m never sure what exactly he is even doing other than writing a good newsletter occasionally, but he and Byrne trust each other so that is (usually) good enough for me.
Sundance what if DJT had the 82nd Airborne lead by colonels loyal to the constitution SURROUND Langley and force everyone to come out with their hands up ? Just an idea
Tunnels exist….
So do tunnel rats should they become necessary.
Sgt. Rejo-Ruiz
Right.
I don’t think they keep their worst elements (assets) housed at Langley.
They’re scattered all over the world. You really don’t know how many or where they all are.
And do you really want to incite them into focusing their “skills” on retribution ?
IMHO a steady plan of defunding and termination of known controlling managers would be less risky. A high priority is to get total control of their databases and lock out everyone beforr they’re terminated.
No military. Last ones were a disaster!
I love the thought, but what makes you think anyone could get to the rank of colonel in today’s military while being loyal to the Constitution?
Well, Sundance, if you didn’t have this website, tou would be perfect for the position.
I said that in another comment: It has to be Sundance. my problem with Trump is that he iistens to his kids way too much.
Yes, hence Vance.
Um, that was a transactional decision.
Splitting the baby from the bathwater.
“The emissary must be of incredible moral character. They must be honest. The person should be entirely altruistic. They must have exceptional judgement, possess no ego, be impervious to scrutiny or review. They must maintain themselves at the highest moral standards at all times and exhibit incredible judgement and wisdom.”
I may be mistaken, but I don’t think Jesus is available.
Maybe Mr. Data from Startrek, the Next Generation, could fill a few of those requirements. .
The most important person in DC on the 20th of Jan, 2025 besides DJT will be the MAGA Senator who refuses Unanimous Consent to any Pro-Forma (pretend) session of the Senate that McConnell used repeatedly to deny Trump his constitutional right to make recess appointments during his first term.
Not even one of the incumbent Republican Senators would do so during Trump’s first term. McConnell had them all by the cojones.
We MUST elect at least ONE this November who is publicly committed to doing so, regardless of the personal cost to him/her.
Else the RINOs will bottle his nominations up and kill his second term just as McConnell effectively killed his first.
This is why Kari Lake winning the Senator of Arizona seat is so important; at least we will have confidence there is one real MAGA Senator in D.C.
The lickspittle rino richter was defeated in the az primary the other day. That was a minor victory that seemed to go unnoticed.
exactly. no vacation for congresscritters or PDJT will make recess appointments (for 210days IIRC?). And don’t both house and senate have to be in session at the same time, even though it is just the senate with advice and “consent” power?
BG, appears to be Senate only:
“The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.”
https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/essay/artII-S2-C3-1/ALDE_00001144/
Both chambers must agree for either chamber to recess. The problem isn’t an official recess. The problem was that McConnell used fake “pro-forma” sessions to ensure no actual recess lasted more than ten days, lest Trump be able to name an “acting” civil officer without McConnell’s prior approval.
Not a single Republican Senator …NOT ONE …ever refused the Unanimous Consent motion to prevent McConnell from doing it throughout Trump’s first term …repeatedly.
During his last year, Trump finally learned how to get most of his nominees into office despite McConnell.
Don’t ever believe Trump when he smiles and says good things about McConnell. Thats just politics.
They Despise each other.
Did Radcliffe lie to #45?
BTW, the Wiki bio of his time as DNI is funny…complete bull shit.
It’s awful that American think of Wikipedia as the Final Authority.
They really didn’t want Radcliffe as DNI, but Trump made Grennell acting DNI since he was approved as an ambassador and Grennell drove them nuts.
This is interesting, SD. I’ve been praying daily for Dr. Carson, his health, etc. Added him to my prayer list after the RNC convention, by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Personally, I agree with you. 🙏😇❤️🇺🇸
Ben Carson, is the moral compass, “if” we get that far.
Dr Carson, if he is healthy enough. Back in the stone age, I had to observe surgery as a nursing student. My first was ‘brain’ surgery. There is nothing I have ever witnessed that was so sureal. While I crossed paths with many Surgeons, a neurosurgeon always left me in awe of their skills and brilliance. I dearly love this Christian man…
Has Joe Biden secretly transferred presidential power to Kamala?
Yes but he kept 10%…
If he has, it’s probably news to him.
Has he been seen since the episode in Vegas? The person I saw going up the stairs was not Biden IMHO
The only other person besides Dr. Carson possibly suited for the role of Emissary would be Melania. This is a very personal role.
Melania would also have the advantage of being able to be the Emissary without it being as obvious that was what she was doing. She would be seen by most of the world as fulfilling the purely ceremonial duties of FLOTUS. Because most people would dismiss her role as non-policy she would have the advantage of stealth. She would not raise suspicion when she has “alone time” with the President.
Also she speaks many languages.
DAMN STRAIGHT!!!!
You’re right, there are no guarantees. It’s called “fallen world.”
But, there’s no better choice, given my limited understanding, that I can see.
I think Robert Lighthizer would be an excellent choice for emissary.
Dr. Ben Carson. Emissary is not a role I am familiar with but it sounds more important than vP.
I don’t get what the Emissary does. Is it like an unbreakeable code communication channel? Who does the Emissary talk to? Underlings of the Cabinet members? Ambassador staff? Seargents in the Army? Does the Emissary order the underlings to carry out Presidential orders without knowledge of the ‘lying’ Agency Cabinet officials? Are there official Presidential Orders unknown to the Agency “Leadership”?
Did you not read Sundance’s blog, which you commented on above? He explains in great detail what an Emissary does.
I did, Wiley, but still do not understand. The Emissary is like an encrypted thumb drive? or unbreakable quantum mechanics-entangled link? Takes a message to someone (who?), and records a secret response back? For the purpose of avoiding who or doing what?
Sounds to me like the role played in some times and places by the ruler’s best friend. Can go places the ruler can’t officially go but speaks with the voice of the ruler and has his ear.
That has been the art of diplomacy for 3000 years
That would be Melania.
As I was reading your description of the emissary, only one name came to my mind: Dr. Ben Carson.
The primary issue is firing ALL of the Deep State Commies that Obama infested our govt. with.
Lots of people think Civil Servant Employees of the Fed. Govt. can’t be fired. Guess what, it’s easier than most think.
Each person occupies a Job Slot and to get rid of the person several things must happen. It’s too hard to find illegal actions any of them did and courts take forever. IF POTUS was to direct OPM (Office of Personnel Management) to DELETE the job slots of those that need to be ‘fired’, and put in place a hiring freeze, they are gone. THEN work up crime charges for them AFTER they are no longer working for the govt.
Put a short timeline (3 days) to OPM to make this happen, if they don’t, FIRE those that are slow rolling anything!
Additionally, if crimes were committed, and for a lot of the senior personnel, that wouldn’t be that hard, then their Pensions are forfeit as well. Once the Obama Commies are all gone then it’s time to make major changes to all govt. agencies to force dead wood and Commies OUT. Hope this is part of your Plan Sundance, it doesn’t do any good to trim around the edges, all senior personnel that are “Democrats” can be “Cancelled” this way!
Odds are Trump’s cabinet, if he wins will be worse than his picks the first time round
Why on earth?
Thinking of the interaction between emissary and the person PDJT wants something relayed:
Maybe PDJT has a question or instructions or a heads up. Wouldn’t the emissary be capable to answer Qs, strategize, possibly negotiate even argue before returning to POTUS?
I like this position and a very unique person should fill it. Unique in the form of 100% loyal to PDJT (mind meld) and crafty (toward others) when needed.
Spock?
😆
The question I have is if the role of the Emissary is to relay communications back and from, why can’t the President do that himself? If they lie to Trump, they’ll lie to Carson.
I just didn’t understand from the article what is the scope of the Emissary that’s above and beyond what Trump can do himself in person, by phone, or electronic comm. I’m sorry if I seem dim…
PDJT is ONE PERSON.He can’t be everywhere. By phone? His calls will be recorded. Electronic communication. Intercepted.. They my lie but the lies cannot be used against him. You’re not dim.Just not been here as long as most. Keep reading and enjoy the company 😉
So.e things need to be kept lower profile. Other times there is lots of back and forth and it isn’t a good use of his time.
Peter Navarro…..period…..mic drop
wrong role. the person replying to Trump via emissary needs to trust the emissary as well. Hence humility, trustworthy, no ego issue,
In the tape Tom Renz said “I know that Peter Navarro went to prison over betraying Trump”.
I had to listen a 2nd time.
I have always believed that Peter Navarro was very loyal to Trump.
Did I miss something?
You missed our Constitution.
If Navarro, and Bannon, had flipped on Donald Trump then neither would have been up on contempt charges by the “special committee”.
Both went to jail over a misdemeanor and the issuance of the charges were wholly unconstitutional.
My pick exactly. Ben Carson appears to be a rare, honest person who needs no “ego stroking” to complete him.
Ken Paxton?
He needs to remain AG either in TX or at DOJ.
Sundance,
Are you going to cover how President Trump can hopefully put the ‘Wolverines’ back in play? I don’t know their ages, but they are way up there. They were so successful, especially with Chinese tariffs…
God bless,
Mike
When you were describing the person’s qualities, Ben Carson is what jumped to my mind before you revealed it.
Maybe I missed something, but isn’t the emissary just another person the IC will endlessly lie to?
Dan Scavino.
My favorite so far (and I was considering Navarro and Grenell) but yes Scavino. He has seen it all.
First name to mind!!
D.B.C.
I just remembered that sundance had a second choice for V.P. after Dr. Carson.
She would have to leave the Congress for this role though. But she has always seemed exceptionally smart, wise, and low-key to me. Not to mention thoroughly MAGA.
If thoroughly MAGA, we need her in Congress.Plenty outside of Congress to pick from…
Now I’m not too deep in the weeds on this guy, but as I recall, Ezra Cohen Watnick was a hero in the early days of the Trump administration.
Steve Bannon is a possibility. He’s smart, well-spoken and his loyalty, first to our Constitutional Republic and second to President Trump is unimpeachable.
I like Bannon but “possessing no ego” requirement might make him unsuitable – for this role.
.
FDR had Harry Hopkins as Emissary. He was a Social Worker before Community Organizers existed.
After the wifey had read his book “Triggered” — and recommended it to me which I thoroughly enjoyed — we’re both big fans of Donald Trump, Jr. in some integral role (hoping it would be VP or Sundance’s “Emissary”) but will settle for Director of the NSA.
[As Dan Bongino had proposed a month ago: Trump/Trump 2024 — Make America Great Again, Again, & Again!”]
NO to family dynasties and Jr. (plus Ivanka and Eric) is not an NBC by virtue of his mother not becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen until 1988.
Will need a backup, for sure.
I was expecting the emissary to be kind of a ramrod, someone who could ride herd on these government agencies until they get in line. In fact, Trump may need one for each agency. Even if the cabinet secretaries are totally onboard with Trump’s policies, the permanent employees view them as the temporary help and ignore them as much as possible. For instance, the State Department is like an oceangoing cargo ship. It can’t stop or turn on a dime. It has almost 78,000 employees spread all over the world. I would think that all the lefties that work in the State Department need to be marginalized and replaced with MAGA people. That’s how Obama transformed the government. He has true believing leftists all over the government who only hire other true believing leftists. It takes a long time. He had a big head start too.
Anyway, guess I’ll have to see the whole plan. Carson speaks softly. Waiting for the big stick.
I don’t know who would be the most qualified for this position. One thing I’ve been pondering the past few years is that our idea of govt is very far removed from what God’s way of govt is and what the role of the government is. What would happen if a company’s CEO would have to win a popularity contest every 4 years with his employees? What would happen to that company? This book is the best at explaining this.
As described, the emissary position is a meticulous two way messenger. The problem I see with that is that the liars would lie to Ben Carson as easily as they would lie to President Trump. Although Dr. Carson ran HUD in the Trump Administration, he is an outsider (I know, I know-insiders are corrupted). I feel like one important function of an emissary would be to gather intel on the messages coming to the president, make a call and ask “why would Mr. X from NSA be telling me this when it’s clearly BS?”, etc. it feels like a role for an uncorrupted insider who is absolutely loyal to Trump and America. Maybe Devin Nunes?
Yes, Nunes!
💡 Now I see💡
Better than VP.😊
I’m all for Steve Bannon…he’s wicked smart and fully on board with Pres Trump agenda. He also has a backbone and can tell the IC to pound sand for POTUS.
Laura Loomer?
