(Politico) – Delegates to the Democratic convention could begin voting on the party’s presidential and vice presidential nominees as early as next week, under a draft plan released Monday by the Democratic National Committee.
The proposal is scheduled to be taken up on Wednesday by members of the DNC’s Convention rules committee.
Such a timeline, if it were implemented, could result in Kamala Harris, President Joe Biden’s endorsed successor, selecting her running mate by the middle of next week.
Harris, who announced her own bid just 24 hours ago, has already effectively cleared the field of would-be challengers. She’s drawn a cascade of endorsements, from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to every Democratic governor in the country, many of whom have their own national ambitions.
In a call with reporters Monday night, the DNC previewed their nomination rules, which they pledged would represent a “transparent, swift and orderly process,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison. The DNC committed to a virtual nomination process back in May, defending against any Republican-backed legal challenges that might keep them off the ballot, particularly in Ohio.
“We will deliver a presidential nominee by Aug. 7 of this year,” Harrison added.
The DNC laid out three qualifications to be considered for the nomination: A candidate must file a formal declaration of candidacy with the DNC, meet party and legal qualifications to be president and secure at least 300 delegate signatures, no more than 50 of whom come from one state delegation. The DNC said it would provide a delegate directory to those candidates who were interested in running for the nomination.
The nomination process, depending on how many candidates qualify, will be completed between Aug. 1 and Aug. 7. (read more)

Yes, even if black men vote Trump, black women in precincts will just not count those votes. One suggestion I have for black Trump supporters in NC is early vote in one of the early voting sites outside your usual voting precincts. Here they designate only certain locations as early voting sites and you can vote in any of them. For example, my voting site does not have early voting so I can go to any of the other sites to vote.
I do know from listening to the black radio station that many younger black males are pumped for Trump; they play “Hold on, I’m coming” pretty regularly on Saturday afternoon when the program is very energetic black music, which I also like. The black establishment is worried and was pumping up Biden..will have to listen again this Saturday to see what they are saying.

Then we will have the inauguration of Camel toe. So no campaigning for another few weeks as well. Out of respect of course. So early voting will have started with no input from either campaign. Until we can get this completely established by SCOTUS, we’re running on a series of really bad rulings in the past which has granted citizenship to children of citizens of foreign states.
Even the term “birthright citizenship” is a huge lie. “Birthright” means “inherited from the parents!!!” It has always meant that. Look back to all of the stories in the Bible which brought out the matter of “birthright.” What did it mean then? What does it mean now? My mind is open to how they’ll battle the embedded Communists who own the system without any law enforcement assistance with nothing more than the ability to expose the cheat. If they can manipulate the system internally, that’s another matter; essentially one technical cheat fighting another. Reading Sundance’s article, my take is now it’s looking less like a Congressional backstop and putting up with PDJT for four years and more like an aggressive attack and cheat with all forces engaged. I’ve been working with a grassroots activist group, Defend Florida, for two years, pressuring the legislators to tighten the election law (they ignored us) and meeting with my Supervisor of Elections to clean our county voter rolls. Imagine what could have been accomplished if 5 or more people from each county in this country had done the same? Hint: the data from the DMV going to each County Clerk of Court to create their jury pool selection list can also be used to check there are no illegals on voter rolls by running that file against the SOE’s list.
Is it enough? I pray it is. Join True the Vote, knock on doors for Amerca First Candidates, and become a poll worker.

The Trump team is not ignorant. They’ve had plenty of time to analyze most of the mechanics of the various cheat and fraud things that the Dems used in 2020 and 2022, and I have to believe that they are quite prepared for it all.
