Peter Thiel does not “own” Palantir. Palantir is a public company which Thiel founded following his days with Elon at PayPal. He is currently Chairman and owns ~7% of the outstanding shares. Still a tidy sum, but his net worth and investment holdings extend far beyond Palantir. In fact, he has been selling shares in Palantir recently.
So, if you believe his alignment with JD Vance his to grow his wealth via Palantir, then go ahead and buy shares. You may in fact be buying shares that Thiel himself is selling.
He and Elon have FU money that is hard to comprehend. Elon used some of his to buy Twitter and we see what he has done there so far. Thiel backed President Trump early on and, as SD has outlines, helped to put JD in business. Thiel and Elon could lose 99% of their wealth and still be richer than 99.99999% of the rest of the world.
I am going the trust but verify route with these two. I don’t think wealth creation is any longer their number one driver. I think they are pivoting to now use their wealth to drive policies which they believe in. And of all people, they have chosen to back President Trump.

Sam Harris just had Anne Applebaum on his podcast. The latest Russia conspiracy theory is that Elon Musk has business interests in Russia and has spoken to Putin. Elon then talked to David Sacks, who then spoke with JD Vance, which explains why Vance doesn’t want to spend $$ in Ukraine.

I literally have zero interests Russia. Tesla has no operations there, SpaceX directly competes with Russia for space launch and Starlink is a key asset of Ukraine.
Sam Harris is a pompous hypocrite (writes book about how lying is terrible and then advocates lying to keep Trump from being elected) who is visibly and audibly detached from reality. How far he has fallen.
As soon as Musk endorsed Trump the attack dogs went after Musk.

Grenell apparently subscribes to the theory that Communists don’t take a dump without a plan. Everything is war-gamed and contingencies planned for ahead of time. Note how things flowed right on past PDJT getting shot; on to the next mission parameter without hesitation or moment of reflection. This, and their numbers, is key in their formidable threat matrix. They are relentless.
It would be funny if Sotomayor resigned … and then Trump won so he could immediately appoint her replacement. 🙂
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: everybody on the right should pay attention to what Christopher Rufo has been doing. He has pursued a simple but hugely effective strategy of commandeering institutions, and it’s absolutely terrifying to the left.
