I think the guy who sent the picture to the ATF.was about identifying the rifle. The question is, who is keeping records of all gun sales to be able to identify a person with a particular rufle.
They can check the records required to be kept by the FFL dealer. The manufacturer keeps a serial number record of where each firearm is shipped. Get the serial number, ask the manufacturer what FFL they sent it to, then check the FFLs records to see who bought it. In this case, since the dad said he bought it, they’ll just check where he said he bought it to verify that.

Got a weird lead on a story that people should look into.
I got a call from a source close to Las Vegas Metro.
The official story was that Joe Biden’s trip was cut short last week due to COVID.
However, according to this source, US Secret Service informed LV Metro that there was an emergency situation involving Joe Biden and to close necessary streets so that POTUS could be transported immediately to University Medical, which they began to do in earnest.
Then, mysteriously, there was a stand down order and the USSS informed local Vegas PD that they were going to “medivac” POTUS to Johns Hopkins, which they presumed meant fly him back east ASAP.
Apparently the rumor mill in the police department was that Joe Biden was dying or possibly already dead.

It looks to me that if that window doesn’t open any more than shown a shooter would have to shoot through the window to reach the area that the stage was at, unless the barrel was stuck well outside of the window’s frame.
It’s a pointless placement as well if, as reported, the counter sniper team was there to watch the crowd. If you think about it, the window prohibits the very concept of covering the crowd. No weapon could be brought around to counter anybody at the back of the crowd. If the window opened the other way it would serve the purpose stated.
