President Donald J Trump has selected Ohio Senator JD Vance to be his Vice-Presidential running mate.

Cliff Notes – On the upside JD Vance brings with him the full support of Silicon Valley and unites the various social media clans and venture capitalists (Musk, Ackerman, Thiel, etc.). This means a big boost to the financial position of the Trump campaign, support from half the banking community, and also the absence of internet protocols that would restrict or oppose his 2024 campaign platform.
Additionally, on a geopolitical level, Vance will be unlikely to interfere too much on the global peace initiative; that’s important. Also, Vance will likely not interfere too much with MAGAnomic policy other than oppose tariffs that align against the aforementioned Vance benefactors. JD Vance was heavily pushed by Donald Trump Jr.
On the downside the ‘never trust a Never-Trumper’ axiom was never more true than it is today. The IC-aligned DHS network behind JD Vance opens a Trump administration to the scorpions within the deepest part of the intelligence apparatus. We can easily predict the decade of 2030-2040 now that JD Vance has been selected. The IC silos will predictably go dormant now as things settle in with Vance, at least for a while. Vivek sold much of his stock before the clinical trial ended, which of course the drug had failed. You can find this story on the internet.
He also used many expressions while running for President that he took directly from Obama. There are videos of them side-by-side. Total conman.

I prefer Dr Ben Carson also, for PDJT needs not only the complete loyalty and respect they carry for each other, he also needs the Christian counsel and discernment that Dr Carson brings to the table.
PDJT has learned and earned most of the business sense, working awareness and knowledge, and strength of purpose he has and needs. No VP would have more to offer in that regard.
Even if there is another choice made, and the reasoning behind that VP choice is not clear – I will have complete peace of mind with whoever is named.
There may be someone that God will lead PDJT towards that can be mentored in this time, to be a viable candidate in four years. Perhaps even someone outside that position as Vice President.

I have no idea what this lose-the-election talk is about.
From what I’ve seen, there are many Vance fans (mostly young) out there in the MAGA movement – they will work even harder to get PDJT elected with this pick.
We here at the Treehouse see more of the sausage sundance exposes, and understand the problems with Vance, but we are not as numerous as that Gen X crowd in our big tent.
Bottom line is, PDJT will lose very few votes over this, in my humble opinion. He actually might have lost a few more amongst the young crowd if he did pick Ben Carson (unjustly in my opinion- Carson is absolutely solid and everything that sundance wanted him for is correct).

What are we missing about Vance that Trump sees, because nobody I know is happy or excited about this VP pick. Started as a happy day, now not so much. I’m still voting for Trump, no VP pick will change my support for President Trump.

My understanding is they spent a lot of time together in Palestine, OH during the train accident aftermath and have stayed close to each other since. PDJT must really like JD because he got over his opposition to the facial hair.
Do I trust Vance, no. By far, very far, the only one I trust their commitment to PDJT would be Ben Carson. But, not my choice to make and I am not the smartest man in the room. If you think you are smarter than Donald Trump, or face bigger consequences to a poor choice then he—check yourself please.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Trump’s single biggest weakness is his personnel choices. I have no idea why he would pick a guy who said MULTIPLE TIMES, emphatically, that he can’t stand Trump.
