Reports have come out including from Sundance that Trump is re-writing his Speech for Thursday night. From what they are saying, it sounds like he is going to emphasize God and faith throughout.
I hope not. I’m all about Christian values but there are plenty of folks who are not, and we need their votes. There’s nothing wrong with him mentioning faith in God. I just hope he doesn’t make that the central theme of his speech. This is a great opportunity for him to talk about unity and bringing people together. To potentially alienate prospective voters in this moment wouldn’t be smart.

Besides, the whole point of Lawfare is not to win in court but to do lots of bad PR for Trump to prevent his re-election. This case has now become useless both in content and in timeline.

Shouldn’t President Trump’s campaign have someone responsible for coordinating his security? To make sure there is effective coordination between local law enforcement and Secret Service? It sounds like there was a huge gap left in that, with SS claiming local officers were in charge of security for the area where the shooter was situated. Someone in President Trump’s campaign should have caught that hole in security.
That’s the sole job of the SS. They failed.
I’m confident PDJT will be more involved going forward (probably through a private contractor to work with, not against SS) PDJT and campaign will probably front bill for extra LE if denials continue and then seek reimbursement if possible.

I’m glad the FIB can’t get into the iPhone. I will not trade my security and privacy to “get them”. There are other ways.
The FBI should, but probably won’t, start with the parent’s phones. There is probably information leading to people the son was communicating with and that will open more doors. The victim who died, his family should file a wrongful death suit including the father whose rifle was used. That will open the door to discovery. The co-conspirators can be found with good PI work and they can be added to the suit once discovered.
At the very least, the can get all of the meta-data from the cell carrier. Numbers called and received, text messages sent and received. All of the social media data should also be available, so what’s left “on the phone” to get? Good chance it’s all backed up in iCloud.

At this point in this election cycle, and with the latest news coming out of Judge Cannon case in Fl, and all that has happened in the last couple of days including the assassination attempt AND the address to the nation from the current occupant from the Oval Office, I don’t see a reason for the DNC cabal et al. to replace the “big boy” press-giving demented one.
I think they are getting push back by the demented one that they possibly didn’t expect and as retaliation against him, the cabal will let him go down in total landslide defeat! They may not feel like sacrificing any other potential replacement by ruining their brand by losing in a landslide against President Trump.
Joe may get his wish to stay in the race and since he is old and probably too far gone with his health issues, that the cabal doesn’t mind letting him take the defeat.
The news cycle did give them something else to talk about besides their internal chaos about how to replace the demented guy, but the current discussion does nothing to improve their party/nominee/replacement serious issues.
