I don’t think the democrats have fully gamed this out and it does not appear that Joe wants to go. The only certainty is that the democrats will cheat on an epic scale. A last minute change could actually work out because there won’t be much polling so any voting result could happen. They could make this work.

And if they do THAT — then at the convention they are removing him in order to nominate someone else, right?
And then there are other States that have some pretty severe requirements for the substitution of a nominee on the ballot after certain dates. For example, June 28 was the deadline for Nevada — after that date, only Biden’s death or certification of mental incompetence allows him to be replaced on the ballot.
In any event — as I understand it, if anyone but Word Salad Harris is the new nominee, then all of Biden’s money can’t be accessed by the new candidate.

Republicans failed to defund the special counsel by one vote. Mike Simpson (ID) voted with Democrats and multiple Republicans (Dan Newhouse, Mike Garcia, David Joyce, David Valadao, Juan Ciscomani) didn’t show up to vote. If Trump doesn’t win, I seriously doubt I will vote for national Republicans again. It is down to fighting at the state and local levels.

Something I’ve noticed too is which states they are focusing on. Look at their words and actions; Clyburn has been spending a massive amount of time in Wisconsin and Michigan while the rest of the machine work on Pennsylvania. I read an article, can’t remember where, that referred to those three states as The Blue Wall to ensure no Republican ever becomes President again. They don’t really care about Nevada, Arizona, or Georgia too much because of the previous states being the focus. They won’t mind if those states are cheated again but the “Blue Wall” is their main focus.
This comes to what Sundance was saying of this is not a massive enterprise but a concentrated effort in a select few cities in specific states.
