Joe Biden will be holding what the White House calls his first, “big boy press conference” in eight months. The professionally Democrat people in DC are holding their collective breaths, with the majority hoping Biden withdraws from the race.
Without doubt the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) is going to be watching this press conference closely to judge their next steps in his removal. Apparently, the group of trusted staff and advisors has now shrunk to less than a handful, as the media have seemingly abandoned all efforts to remain in the world of pretending. As ABC notes, “President Biden, facing a political crisis as Democrats question the viability of his campaign and mental fitness, will be put to the test on Thursday when he holds his first solo news conference of the year.”

Watching his body language, I can tell when he’s lying and when he thinks he’s telling the truth. There’s some of his talking points he seems to genuinely believe.
My father has dementia. From the support groups I have been in and experienced with my own dad the term for this is called confabulation. We know them as lies, but tonthe person telling them it is their own truth.
My husband has dementia, so I know first hand about confabulation.

Thank you. His name is Tony. My dad and my FIL both have dementia so am pretty experienced dealing with the disease. The term Dementia is actually a medical umbrella term used. There are 79 different diseases that fall under this umbrella term. For example Parkinsons, Alzheimer and Lewy Body are under this umbrella term.

As I always say when introducing new alternative ideas/methods, do your research and come to your own conclusions, after reading/watching any hints I give. I hope this may help and I do hope for the best for your family.
Thank you for sharing a sad goodbye to your loved ones. My father had Alzheimer. He got it late in life, around 80 yrs. old. My very loving step Mom said that the Drs. told her when you get it late in life like he did, it proceeds slower but if one gets it around their 50’s it comes on much faster.
Luckily for all of us, my father never got the angry freak out stage. He was always very sweet. By the time I could go visit him overseas, he could not speak anymore but he did recognize my brother and I.
He was a pianist and NEVER EVER lost that until the very end when he was bed ridden.
He could not speak anymore when I was here but it almost did not make any difference because our eyes spoke of a beautiful love that he and us knew was there.
Thanks all. Its tough dealing with 3 elderly parents 2 of which have dementia (in laws plus my dad). Its just me and hubs and it is very sad and difficult.
A couple of other relevant comments. First, I think he has been having issues since about 2017. Just little things I noticed. People with dementia type diseases can live for a number of years, but there is most always ongoing decline. It is also possible one floats between being very lucid with long term memory while the working memory (aka short term) has what I call hiccups. Also, if he is incontinent he may be prone to frequent UTI’s. UTI’s in patients with this disease often cause them to get very wacky. For instance, hallucinating. Frequent/constant hallucinating happens more frequently depending on the disease and the stage. Alzheimers.org has a lot of information.
IMHO Dr. Jill and his family are abusing him. Honestly it is very sad to watch.
PS. Things may get very interesting if he loses his ability to read (that can happen)

Absolutely agree. Have seen the same with my mom and her dementia. And you can’t convince her otherwise. She will not accept anything other than her version of events. The best we can hope for is that she will eventually forget if we don’t bring it up.

Agreed. I believe that medication was administered at precisely the correct time. You could see him become more coherent as time went on. There must be a very narrow window of opportunity when he functions well. I’m wondering if that was part of the delay. His first five mins were horrible. The medication had not quite taken effect properly.
