Joe Biden will be holding what the White House calls his first, “big boy press conference” in eight months. The professionally Democrat people in DC are holding their collective breaths, with the majority hoping Biden withdraws from the race.
Without doubt the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) is going to be watching this press conference closely to judge their next steps in his removal. Apparently, the group of trusted staff and advisors has now shrunk to less than a handful, as the media have seemingly abandoned all efforts to remain in the world of pretending. As ABC notes, “President Biden, facing a political crisis as Democrats question the viability of his campaign and mental fitness, will be put to the test on Thursday when he holds his first solo news conference of the year.”

Biden did pretty well, considering. But he is no longer believable as a 4 more years President.
The longer he delays dropping out, the less messy the replacement process has to be and the less time the opposition has to counter.
Biden trying manfully to stay in the race means that when he finally throws in the towel he will go out as a great hero making the ultimate sacrifice for the good of the country. Then a much younger person will come in promising to rejuvenate the nation.

If Joe doesn’t drop out: Obama has successfully distanced himself from being Joe’s puppet master, Obama gets to tout Joe didn’t win because I didn’t endorse him and you need me to get elected, Trump will win so therefore see there’s no voter fraud and there wasn’t in 2020.

He is an elder statesman grandpa living in the past, who can tell entertaining stories of the past and people he once knew or at least met. Seems to me, two issues have to be settled before Biden can step down:
1) There have to be satisfactory promises that the family business will not be prosecuted after he leaves public service, and
2) China invested a lot into Biden. Who will “represent” China’s interests in the White House hereafter, as the going direct reset unfolds.\?
Regarding your first point, Trump is not going to promise that. Trump will represent China’s interest, the CCP, not so much.
He mostly talked about Ukraine and all its hubris… We didn’t hear hardly anything about immigration or the border. He inserted a couple of comments about inflation being down, haha. He mentioned Obama Care and how fortunate we were to have benefited from it… Not much substance other than look at me, I am a “big boy” and can still stand up for an hour…

Two Points/Questions from Bidens campaign speech tonight. Biden claimed he was unable to pass immigration reform bill recently due to former Pres DJT interference so he instead signed executive orders limiting immigration. Why did he open the border in the first place (by eliminating DJT’s executive orders) and why did he wait 3.5 years before closing that same border again through his executive orders?
He claims he’s now talking to European leaders to form policy to bring back munitions and weapon system manufacturing to the west/Europe/USA. Whose idea was it to outsource that critical manufacturing (an obvious national security priority) to China in the first place? Answer: Lifelong, crooked politician Slo Joe and the rest of the UniParty.
Third point: His eyes never blink while he reads the teleprompter. His eyes do blink a bit when he looks down (which is often). He’s on strong drugs/stimulants.
It’s so simple.

The only way out that they actually could save some face for the party is 25th him. Spin it as Joe has precipitously declined as of late, and while painful he isn’t capable of remaining President. In comes Kamala, let her get wrecked by Trump, and try to salvage or even turn around the down ballot races. If they can keep one chamber they can weather 4 years of Trump. Gridlock for 4 years is a victory for them.
