First, some have speculated the timing of the first 2024 presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden is so early in the election year, prior to any party convention, because Biden is anticipated to be replaced. This is considerable supposition, but the date of the debate is indeed very odd.
Secondly, without a doubt the headlines leading into the debate have been seeded with talking points friendly to the Biden position on economics, immigration, inflation and foreign policy (Ukraine). From economists publicizing letters to government agencies promoting lowered inflation, the talking points for Biden have been well scripted and practiced.
Third, CNN the exclusive media outlet for the debate, is notorious for structuring political attacks against President Trump. Biden has been in dress rehearsals and training for the optics and soundbites for several weeks. Knowing CNN gave prior debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance during the 2016 primary, we can anticipate CNN working hand in glove with the Biden campaign. They don’t even try to hide this stuff any longer.

I honestly have no interest in watching. I don’t want to give CNN ratings, and I don’t feel like listening to sleepy lie for 2 straight hours. He’s like a used car salesman…his lips are moving, he’s lying.
Neither will I watch because I cannot stand the lying devious swines on CNN or SloJoe who no doubt will be juiced up and jump started.

Thank you for posting this. It was the first post I saw here at CTH and was exactly what I was thinking. I don’t even know what Joe Biden is doing up there, completely fraudulent POTUS and therefore fraudulent debate. I don’t want to give CNN even a penny and my watching would confer legitimacy to the whole circus. Will vote again as I did in 2020 and support DJT unflaggingly and see if there is any integrity left in the system.
My eyes re not equipped to look at that demon. I firmly believe President Trump knows what he is up against. I will not waste my time on CheNN and its demonic stooge.

I turned it off less than 2 minutes in because of blatant bias and lies.

Before the Donna Brazile leak to the Hillary camp in 2016, who can forget Candace Crowley in the 2012 Romney/Obama debate “just happened” to have some prior Obama interview transcripts in hand for a line of surprise attack questioning on Romney whereby Obama just happened to know Crowley was holding them when he told her to read them on what he actually said in the interview. I’m sure its safe to assume CNN has been assisting Democrat candidates in this matter long before this.

When Trump is asked about his claims the 2020 election was stolen, I would like for him to remark that if the situation was reversed, if Joe had been leading in 5 states that suddenly shut down counting and then when resumed Trump was ahead, if he had won the precincts that had more votes than registered voters; if states where his party was in power and allowed for mail in voting in violation of the state law, and he won those states, that Trump would expect Biden to challenge the election and, if he didn’t, then he was not looking out for the American people because it was their votes being stolen. And then remind them that Joe still says 2016 was stolen from HRC.
They will bring it up, they want to goad him with it.
President Trump should point out that 1) all the news agencies repetition of “without any evidence” is wearing thin, given there is an ever increasing amount of evidence, and 2) if this Tegime had been legitimately elected they would welcome inquiries rather than being hysterical about shutting down any and all investigations.

I won’t be watching. I quit watching debates after Bush v. Gore. I saw Bush just tear Gore up only to have the networks tell me afterward I didn’t see what I saw and that Gore won. I realized then that it doesn’t matter what happens, the spinmeisters are still going to tell you that you need to believe them and not your lying eyes.

I support Trump 💯. Therefore I will be watching this maleficence whether I like it or not.
I give the president much credit for even going through with this. The Book of Proverbs has much to say about arguing with fools (people who lack wisdom), and if Joe doesn’t qualify then no one does. On top of that, the Usurper’s team is so unsure of his prospects, that they heaped every advantage of venue and moderation (it’ll be a two-on-one, after all) on top of the debate request in the hopes that Trump would balk so they could use that as a cheap campaign point – “He’s afraid to debate!”
I don’t care what they pump Joe with to make him semi-coherent for this evening, the cat’s out of the bag – the emperor has no clothes, and half the time he’s not lucid enough to realize that he’s naked. If you have to so stack the deck for your guy, and pump him full of drugs just to have him “fit” to even show up for the debate, then what you’re signalling is that you have no confidence in your puppet and you’ll either replace him, or kill yourself trying for the steal in November.
But trying to get a bead on which path is likely is not enough for me to tune in to CNN. I’d rather get a root canal. I’ll wait until afterward, watch the clips from reputable venues and read the commentary. Frankly, one could go down to the local barbershop, listen to patron gossip about what happened, and get more trustworthy feedback than one is likely to get watching CNN and its band of merry partisans.
