A couple of quick hot points from the 2024 presidential race and Trump side of the equation.
♦ First, we can ignore all of the typical pre-debate banter about who is doing what in the lead-up to the Trump v Biden debate. Every cycle the debate narratives are pushed for clicks and attention; almost all of it is manufactured nonsense and false.
Actual, professional, presidential debate teams do not leak information about their debate prep activity to the media. The only information released is from campaign players who want the other side to see, hear and waste time preparing for imaginary nonsense. All of the pre-debate stuff, banter, punditry and column inches are one big mind game of misinformation. Ignore all of it.
♦ Second, the DC system that created Mike Pence as the best option for Trump 2016 is the same system pushing Vance, Rubio and Burgum for 2024. [Example HERE] The intent with Pence 2016 is the same intent with Vance, Rubio and Burgum ’24. I’m cautiously optimistic President Trump is well aware of this.
Seriously, how many times have you heard me repeat the warning: NEVER TRUST A NEVER-TRUMPER. Yet, time and time again people get wooed back, deny their instincts, dismiss the intellectual reality and drop their guard. Every single time the Trump supporters get burned.
This is not complicated folks. The Never-Trumpers do not change position, have an awakening, trip over some “come to Jesus” moment, engage in self-reflection, or otherwise evolve to stop thinking that Donald Trump is the end of their world. Never-Trumpers espoused that opinion, because Never-Trumpers saw value in holding that opinion. It is simple and should be accepted.
Those who claimed Trump was/is horrible, terrible, egotistical, evil and all the other adjectives to describe their sentiments, do not suddenly have a change in perspective. What changes them are changes in the instructions they are given. They begin praising Trump because there is new value in stating that opinion. NEVER, EVER Trust a never-Trumper. The stakes are too high.
♦ Third, apparently the secret service is increasing the security detail around President Trump.
Kelly O’Donnell: “Secret Service is ready to add new protectee detail for Trump running mate. USSS is also increasing size of Trump detail beyond level for formers. Official said, “The Secret Service detail has been bulked up by additional special agents and support teams to ensure the highest level of security for not only the event sites but the travel in between events.” (source)
Generally speaking, the current DC system operators, that are referred to as the ‘Biden administration’, have no motivation to protect Donald Trump other than their sense of personal responsibility to the nation President Trump represents.
Given the effort that Tucker Carlson has put into mainstreaming thoughts around the ‘killing of Trump‘, I am cautious to view any Secret Service effort through the prism of professional altruism.
I pray for the safety of President Trump and his family daily, because I am very clear-eyed about the nature of the enemy he faces.

I don’t think anybody should underestimate Harriet Hageman. She is one smart, well-spoken lady. 1) she could wait and be groomed for four years if it would be the necessary, then become Ben Carson’s VP pick in four years. 2) Ben Carson may not want to run a second term and she would be a great fit to succeed Carson. Ben Carson will be 73 years old this September and thus 77 years old and certainly if his health is good would be able to run for his second term. Harriet Hageman on the other hand will be 62 years old in October and would be in a position to take over for President Ben Carson after four years or even after eight years and what a President she would be, learning from President Trump and President Carson.
This I feel would be the dream ticket moving forward.

As a native Texan, just remember his speech in the RNC convention in 2016. He did not support President Trump. He is a big talker and you can always depend on him to eventually make his message into whatever the majority of the voters want so he stays in office. He reminds me of Governor Abbott. I was perhaps the first to suggest Virginia Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin, the dark horse media-ignored choice for Vice President. Today, I read that Youngkin will join Trump on the stage at his rally in Virginia next week after the debate. Maybe he’s thinking what I’m thinking. Stay tuned.

It seems like if it’s not Carson everyone will be disappointed. I doubt Carson would run in 4 years so we have to realize he may not be the pick. So be prepared to be disappointed if it’s not him. Whoever he picks isn’t going to have any affect on me and I’m voting for him no matter what!
We also need to keep in my that there are other important jobs besides VP. For example, I’d like to see a lot of changes in healthcare. Dr. Carson would be excellent in that area, assuming it’s something he would be interested in doing. When I think about it, I’m not sure what specific things he’d like to get involved in.
Carson could root out all the junk science, the Fauci funding, and political correctness. Put HHS or CDC back on a sound scientific foundation.
And cut it down to the half-dozen staff it should be.
This is not politics of old. There’s no longer a need to pick a VP thinking he’ll run for Pres. I doubt very much that Trump thinks in those terms.
The big question on my mind is: has Trump learned from the many mistakes he made during his first term? And, yes, there were many mistakes, mostly around personnel choices. So, a great first clue that he has learned his lesson will be his running mate this time. I agree with Sundance that Dr Carson is the best choice. We’ll see.

A gay bubble party is basically foam bubbles spewed all over a dance rave on gay men who are naked or near enough. And then they do things.

Trump needs to look for someone who can smoothly shift into a presidential campaign in 2028 and 2032 to continue MAGA. The 2030 census is going to be important, because the president has to try to get citizenship on the census (SCOTUS turned Trump down on this, but his three picks may make a difference.)
One reason Biden has been flooding the US with illegals is to count them in 2030, and use the count to shift House seats back to the blue states (along with a lot of illegals voting, of course).
Trump needs to pick someone who can help win the swing voters, independents, no-Trump-in-2020-voters who now may have second thoughts about Trump, disappointed moderate Democrats (what few there are, but every vote counts), and maybe even some Never-Trumpers who secretly worry about their financial position and whether they want their teenage daughter showering with boys).
Support for Israel could also be a factor in some swing states such as PA. The four swing suburban counties around Philly are the key to winning PA and overcoming Philly vote fraud (there is always vote fraud in Philly; 2020 was no rare event). The most famous graduate of Cheltenham High in suburban Philadelphia is…Ben Netanyahu (Class of 1967), who used to come back for Israeli fundraisers.
Trump won in 2016 because he addressed what really mattered to the voters, not to the Uniparty. His successor should be someone who is as good a public speaker as Trump is (as Reagan was). We need an energetic happy warrior who may not fill the stadiums like Trump, but still can bring out the crowds and get them to the polls.
It’s very simple.
There are SO many who were supporters of Trump from Day One that there is NO need to select from the pool of those who took an adverse position from Day One.
Regardless of whether a person has claimed to have changed and become a Trump supporter, there is no knowing how true the conversion is. While it may be the case that many are now solidly Trump, it is also the case that those who were enduring the vileness of actually being a vocal Trump supporter are far more worthy of consideration across the board.
Besides, Ben Carson is the guy for the job if Peter Navarro doesn’t want it.

I am a Christian. I don’t particularly refer to the Old Testament when it comes to the Law. Because that was the Old Law, and there is a new Law. And Paul’s writings aren’t the Law either as revered as he is. And I do revere him and trust his understanding regardless of his past. But his word is not God’s Word.
But even in the Old Testament, the entire idea of a king was scoffed at by God. The Israelites demanded a king, and so God gave them a King, David. And then a line of kings for a time after. And Israel reaped the harvest and the famine of Kings, that they demanded to have. They got both the bounty they wanted and the wanting God warned of, by having Kings.
God never sanctioned the concept of a king. And I don’t know anywhere in the Bible, Old Testament or New that forbids a Queen. It mentions a queen or two, doesn’t make much note of the fact that they exist other than saying they did. And I don’t know anywhere in the Bible, other than explaining the feelings of the time in the Arab/Jewish world of attitudes towards women. The Old Testament even dedicated an entire book to one woman, completely unheard of in it’s time.
As Christians we get, almost in it’s entirety, our sense of the place of men and women from Paul and his writings. A man who never married and admitted he had no interest in such things. Some denominations took his words to mean that women should be basically a second class. A very Arab interpretation of Scripture. It does not reflect God’s words. It definitely does not reflect Christ’s attitudes towards the women who followed him.
It is beyond me that our God would create half of us to be subservient to the other half when we were all supposed to be created to be subservient to God only. We can have no other master but God. Man, Woman, Child. Our master is The Creator of the Universe.
That we have roles in our service to him makes sense, and seems natural. And we should follow that nature put within us by God. But beyond that is silly. Women are not less than Men. And Men are not less than Women. We see those distinctions.
God does not see them the way we do. We all must follow God the same. And we all can be rulers or servants as God calls us to be. The point is what God wants, needs, or asks for. Not what we in our arrogance deamnd.

The roles of women and men and their interactions with each other are addressed in Genesis and Proverbs, amongst many books of the Bible, and are contrary to what you state;
After mentioning Ishmael in Genesis and his descendants, not much is mentioned of his Arab descendants afterwards, but much is mentioned regarding the various Canaanite tribes and the Edomites, with regards to world views of women and men.
God absolutely endorsed kings. He set both Saul and David on the throne, tho Saul caused much grief in his time. God promised a forever kingdom to Israel if they kept their part of the law. Solomon was bred for the throne to build the first temple. They were not afterthoughts to God, and precursors to reign of Christ.
The difference is a human king is fallible, but a king guided, warned and taught by a true prophet is what worked. When the kings followed the prophet they thrived. When they rejected him they collapsed.

There are two criteria for VP.
Someone who shares Trump’s principles and goal;

That person can help Trump WIN swing voters, swing counties and swing states. It’s all about winning. It’s not just who we like, but who the critical voters will like, too.

I am not worried about getting voters in swing states. I would rather have a VP that could talk loud and directly about election fraud and how to overwhelm it and interrupt it.
Ben Carson has Detroit roots what if he took a direct interest in the counting centers in Detroit and got just a few honest eyes ears and hands in there. We make a mistake when we see the counting centers as all staffed by true believers, they are just a set of temp workers from Democrat dominated cities.

I’m not clear what the import of the Tucker Carlson reference is, but he’s not the only one who’s been warning about what the other side is capable of doing. The VP should be someone who is as MAGA and competent as it gets. If Trump gets in, where a steal is not believable, the deep state has two options. Eliminate Trump or slow walk his agenda and wait him out for only four years. That’s why I believe a VP should be someone that makes eliminating Trump pointless. Something about Carson strikes me as too much of a nice guy. Easier to roll over. His skill set might be better suited at reforming healthcare, CDC, FDA, etc.
