A couple of quick hot points from the 2024 presidential race and Trump side of the equation.
♦ First, we can ignore all of the typical pre-debate banter about who is doing what in the lead-up to the Trump v Biden debate. Every cycle the debate narratives are pushed for clicks and attention; almost all of it is manufactured nonsense and false.
Actual, professional, presidential debate teams do not leak information about their debate prep activity to the media. The only information released is from campaign players who want the other side to see, hear and waste time preparing for imaginary nonsense. All of the pre-debate stuff, banter, punditry and column inches are one big mind game of misinformation. Ignore all of it.
♦ Second, the DC system that created Mike Pence as the best option for Trump 2016 is the same system pushing Vance, Rubio and Burgum for 2024. [Example HERE] The intent with Pence 2016 is the same intent with Vance, Rubio and Burgum ’24. I’m cautiously optimistic President Trump is well aware of this.
Seriously, how many times have you heard me repeat the warning: NEVER TRUST A NEVER-TRUMPER. Yet, time and time again people get wooed back, deny their instincts, dismiss the intellectual reality and drop their guard. Every single time the Trump supporters get burned.
This is not complicated folks. The Never-Trumpers do not change position, have an awakening, trip over some “come to Jesus” moment, engage in self-reflection, or otherwise evolve to stop thinking that Donald Trump is the end of their world. Never-Trumpers espoused that opinion, because Never-Trumpers saw value in holding that opinion. It is simple and should be accepted.
Those who claimed Trump was/is horrible, terrible, egotistical, evil and all the other adjectives to describe their sentiments, do not suddenly have a change in perspective. What changes them are changes in the instructions they are given. They begin praising Trump because there is new value in stating that opinion. NEVER, EVER Trust a never-Trumper. The stakes are too high.
♦ Third, apparently the secret service is increasing the security detail around President Trump.
Kelly O’Donnell: “Secret Service is ready to add new protectee detail for Trump running mate. USSS is also increasing size of Trump detail beyond level for formers. Official said, “The Secret Service detail has been bulked up by additional special agents and support teams to ensure the highest level of security for not only the event sites but the travel in between events.” (source)
Generally speaking, the current DC system operators, that are referred to as the ‘Biden administration’, have no motivation to protect Donald Trump other than their sense of personal responsibility to the nation President Trump represents.
Given the effort that Tucker Carlson has put into mainstreaming thoughts around the ‘killing of Trump‘, I am cautious to view any Secret Service effort through the prism of professional altruism.
I pray for the safety of President Trump and his family daily, because I am very clear-eyed about the nature of the enemy he faces.
I was a never Trumper in the 2016 cycle. Wrote in Ted Cruz because I didn’t believe Trump would deliver on his promises. Six months later I saw that I was wrong. Despite his many missteps, Trump proved me wrong. In the 2020 cycle I supported him fully and financially, and was crushed when the Cabal stole the election. Doing the same thing now with the scant hope that this time we will beat the cheat. Don’t tell me that there’s no such thing as a converted never Trumper.

I never believed Trump could win, so writing in Cruz was the best I felt I could do. That election night my son called me to tell me Trump was on a trajectory to win. I sat down with a bottle of scotch and watched the festivities as the traitorous criminal Hillary Clinton lost the election. It was wonderful. The next morning I was still skeptical about what Trump would do as President, but he already had a significant victory in beating that monstrous woman.

Carson is 72yrs old. He is a great patriot and intellect and loyal to the cause however it would be devastating to our country to have two presidents in 4 yrs possibly become incapacitated or worse, pass away. Statistically a person in their 70s has a 64% of passing . Trump must pick someone younger who also can set up an 8 yr run as Potus starting in 2028.

AmazingPolly.Net had an hour discussion (with charts) making some interesting points about one of the alternative news/ podcasters sponsors. It is The Wellness Company. This is not off topic IMO. These people have the potential to sway viewers of alternative media that they trust.
What I find interesting is that Foster Colson and Dave Lopez own the company. These two have some interesting connections to questionable players. They are also making a ton of money promoting medicine and health products to people who shun the vaccine.
The point she was making is that this Network Supplement and Telehealth Company is subsidizing a ton of alternative news and podcasters. Are they then in the position to influence the content of (Rogan, Beck, James O’Keefe, etc.) like Big Pharma does MSM? This does fall under the political realm if these people are funding sources that (some) conservatives trust.

I think one advantage (among several) of VP Carson is that assassinating President Carson after assassinating President Trump would make the left much more likely to lose a civil war and that not assassinating President Carson would leave someone in office more likely to unify the country around achieving

We have witnessed all of that with our own eyes. I fully accept they can and will do anything and nothing is off the table, nothing will be a surprise. What remains is to see what their plans are and try to stop them.

What I do know for sure is THAT, the donors money does follow the candidate and there will be complications, legal and otherwise, sooner rather than later.

I’d take Flynn or Carson for VP in 2024. By 2028, Donalds may be able to step into Trump’s shoes, or at least be the running mate to Flynn or Carson.

If there is no such thing as conversion and/or redemption from Never Trumpism then the whole resistance is doomed. Certainly one needs to be more suspicious of recent converts, but just as in faith there is no one more committed than one who is truly redeemed. They didn’t trust Saul/Paul initially either.
I was somewhat of a Never Trumper until he called Rosie O’Donnell a fat pig in the first debate. Those words spoke to me. People don’t come out of nowhere to become VP candidates. Burgum has to be a never Trumper simply because nobody had ever heard of him until after it became clear that Trump will be the nominee. JD Vance is in over his head and is being pushed by the deep State operators. Rubio has always been in the hip pockets of the Deep State and is obviously a never Trumper and is the scary one because if there is a plot to take out PJDT, Rubio’s selection would set that scenario into a top priority action plan.
Rubio could also be a ruse that the DC Swampers are certain Trump would not select. If so, who are they actually manipulating into what would seem like Trump’s most obvious option.
