I’m just going to throw out a bunch of factual datapoints that seemingly mean something, but the larger ‘intent’ picture is still opaque. Many readers may not be familiar with the connective tissue between the names, so I’ll just cut to the chase.
According to media reports, Pershing Square Capital Management founder Bill Ackman is preparing to back Donald Trump in the 2024 election {LINK}. Bill Ackman is the Wall Street money guy backstopping Elon Musk, and Ackman created the financial vehicle to take the X-Platform back to the public market (unused mechanism).
To wit, Elon Musk is reportedly in frequent communication with President Trump {LINK} potentially now as an advisor to the campaign:
“As recently as two years ago, Trump and Musk were publicly trading insults. But in recent months, the two men are developing a friendly rapport and talk on the phone several times a month as the election nears, the people familiar with their talks said. The pair have held discussions on immigration, technology and science, including the U.S. Space Force. Their views and interests have grown more aligned, the people said, with Musk calling Trump directly on his cellphone.” (more)
Elon Musk (Tesla) does not want tariffs against Chinese electric vehicles. Axios is reporting that Musk plans to host an X-Platform townhall event with President Trump {LINK}. As the billionaire classes choose sides, Mark Cuban is aligned with the multinationals and Biden; meanwhile, Musk and Ackman now appear to be aligning with Trump.
JD Vance and Vivek Ramaswamy were college roommates. Both Vance and Ramaswamy were financially backed by Peter Thiel. Thiel and Musk (now with Ackman, Vance and Ramaswamy) seemingly run in the same tribal circles.
Curiously, this grouping who seemingly support cryptocurrency, along with a few others who do not openly support the Hamas faction of U.S financial interests, are moving deeper into the America-First Trump orbit. The question of their motive remains. Do they support the MAGA agenda, or are they worming their way into position in order to undermine it?
You decide.
Hard to view this as anything other than abuse of the law for political purposes https://t.co/c8Ub8g62qq
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) June 1, 2024
The FBI conducted surveillance on Donald Trump using the NSA database. The CIA, DNI and FBI launched a counterintelligence operation against Trump. The DOJ and FBI fabricated the Trump-Russia collusion narrative. They tried to impeach Donald Trump twice. They arrested Donald Trump four times. They charged him 91 times with manufactured crimes. They indicted Donald J Trump four times, while the Biden DOJ/FBI arrested his lawyers and legal advisors. The Joe Biden Dept of Justice then jailed his supporters and put a gag order on Donald Trump. They censored him. Working with the National Archives to manufacturer a case against him, they raided Donald Trump’s home using a sketchy search warrant. They tried to remove him from ballots within several states and used a Biden appointed judge to frame support for their legal arguments. A Biden donor judge then convicted him through a Biden prosecutor, using testimony from a convicted felon, serial perjurer, and porn star…. Yet, with all of that pressure against him, Donald John Trump is still leading Joe Biden in every national and key swing state poll.
Why?
Because the American people are wide awake now.

“Curiously, this grouping who seemingly support cryptocurrency, along with a few others who do not openly support the Hamas faction of U.S financial interests, are moving deeper into the America-First Trump orbit. The question of their motive remains. Do they support the MAGA agenda, or are they worming their way into position in order to undermine it?”
If Sundance uses the phrase, “The Hamas faction of US financial interests” that signals to me that Sundance sees them more as psychopaths, like Hamas, than patriots.
At this point in time it is difficult to know who is truly on the side of Americans vs. those who pretend to side with Americans so they can get in power and then use their power to destroy the little guy: that means you and me.
We have been sold a bill of goods from RINOs for years, that they were on our side. We cannot take a chance and assume that everyone who says they support Trump actually do. All we can do is watch their behavior:
When the words and music (words and actions) do not match, PAY ATTENTION TO ACTIONS RATHER THAN TO WORDS.
I believe Trump said the other day he wants to protect cryptocurrency but is very opposed to central bank digital currency (CBDC).
It’s CBDC that would enable our govt to control americans’ bank accounts. China installed CBDC. You get a social score re: how good a Communist u are. If good, u get to use your own bank acct money. If not, you starve, lose your home and all your money.
The US Govt is developing CBDC. They r not there yet but it’s not that far away. Trump will stop CBDC in the US… but supports crypto currency.
NDA’s for private citizens are not allowed in the CBDC system and lowers your ‘social score’.
Is DC going to be voted on or like the ATF just a new policy regulation(s) developed internally at the Fed? When Bank America, among others, start tracking and reporting ‘firearm and ammunition’ purchases for the State (FBI-ATF), which dovetails into DC tracking and social scoring, it wasn’t voting on by anybody.
Firearm sales are already tracked. It’s the private sales that are not tracked. Even with CBDC I have no doubt creative ways will be found to circumvent this.
Generally correct, except that a CBDC is not even on the horizon. It sounds possible, but the complexity and accuracy required would be overwhelming given that at someplace in the pipeline you have to have thousands of imperfect human beings stringing together code. Look at how their complex plans are failing time after time in the process of going from the whiteboard to the ground. CBDC was tried in Nigeria, and it was such a disaster that it failed within a year and everyone involved was driven out of town on a rail.
When the music stops playing, who gets the chair?
Well, we all know quite a few who deserve to get the chair, as long as it’s the electric chair.
Sundance,I have been visiting here multiple times a day for several years now but very rarely leave a comment.
I feel that I have nothing productive to add to your insights.
At this time I just want to thank you very sincerely for your time and efforts.
You never fail to expand my awareness of what is going on and your frequent trips out into the weeds helps expand my understanding of arcane terminology, facts and principles.
It very often opens multiple doors into the machinations of past and current events and how they tie together.
Thank you again,

You speak for many of us Phil… whether one is a frequent poster or part of the Silent Majority… almost to a T we agree with your words
To borrow from Jeep cultists…”it’s a 🌴 🏠 thing… you wouldn’t understand.”
Not sure about Modi.
Modi was never mentioned, and “Biden” embarrassed him on purpose about selling state secrets. Plus Modi forced cashless on India.
Right on, brothers and sisters!
What happens is that only so many pigs are allowed at the trough and Ackman likely has been frozen out by the other side. Maybe he leans more libertarian than most in the billionaire class and believes the UniParty’s virtually unchecked power has finally gone too far, possibly threatening his investments. Likely a calculated decision to have a say within Trump’s sphere of influence instead of having no power within the other camp.
Thiel seems to have many connections to the small faction within the globalist/Intel hegemony who favor a more capitalist approach to running the world. The people opposed to Trump have fully committed to a pure Marxist/ Communist/Socialist authoritarian management program for the globe.
The big money people, and that even includes Soros, have only so much influence once the person is actually installed into power.
I don’t care what Musk does. We are voting for Trump regardless of what Musk does or wants. Trump is not going to change his promises to accommodate Musk. Those tariffs on China will come back when Trump is President. Too bad for Musk. We personally don’t like Musk and see him as over rated. Musk was DeSantis guy. Trump and Musk do not get along.
“We personally don’t like Musk”.
” We” == you?
YOU personally know Elon well enough to not like him?
For what its worth, some people who “know” President Trump don’t “personally like him”.
There were also people who know Christ who disliked him enough to have him crucified.
” Trump and Musk do not get along”.
Source: an anonymous armchair claiming to be an insider in a position to know what President Trump and Elons relationship really is like?
Perhaps email Sundance and fill him in since at this point Sundance doesn’t claim to know.
People with wealth and power covering their bets just in case “the felon” is not cheated out of office — this time.
Hey, that’s “convicted felon”…😏😉😄
Anybody know where to get a T-shirt?
Maybe listen to the Joe Rogan interview of Elon MusK?
Hard to keep track of all the Billionaires.
It’ll be nice to finally know which FILTHY Billionaires to AIM at, this makes it easier.
While I make do make my share of typos in posting on the treehouse, your spelling and grammar, ahem, could benefit by some improvement. IA?
I suggest we establish ‘The Sophie Trophy’…
A weekly award given to the author of the wackiest post 🙂
So it’s’ right up there with the left’s criticism on “tone”…
You mean Trump is playing 4D Chess? Wow! Thats amazing! It’s garbage like this post that makes us look like and sound like idiots. For example Modi is a psychopath who has implemented digital currencies and social credit system in India. India has and continues to play both sides. During the Cold War India was friends with Russia and the U.S.A. Now India is still friends with both countries. XI will never give up the Communist Doctrine.
Q??? Oh brother, not again
exactly my thoughts
Trust the plan? NAH.
No one believes this anymore.
Trust Sessions.
Source: an anonymous opiner who chose the user name poison.
Notice the concern about how a telegram post shared here may make us (“Us” == ?) “look like and sound like idiots”?
Making a conformists appeal to optics over substance here of all places?
” For example, Modi is a psychopath”
Deploying a common deceivers tactic, the Logical Fallacy known as an Appeal to Authority, when no such authority exists?
Armchair psychiatrists, and Regime Media mind programmers, confidently assert that President Trump is a narcissistic psychopath.
Confidently asserted lies are still lies.
Finally, the poison dispenser ends by pretending to be able to read Xi’s mind and the ability to accurately report what he will do in the future just as poison dispensers do when speaking about President Trump.
Shocker?
At this stage in our spiritual/psychological war, hopefully not.
“indicated”? or indicted? Words are important.
Sounds a little too much like November, December and early January, 2021, where we Release the Kracken, secret planes were taking off over North America, colonel-this and general-that had top secret information to share, a recount will be demanded by VP whatshisname (Pence?), someone will expose the files from the secret data on military bases in Germany and anywhere else you want to stage a seizure of stolen data/votes, all going to save the election, etc. Our military ain’t gonna do nuttin’ good but get sex changes on the public dime, and fail the easiest readiness tests.
I’ve gone on too long, and so has the craziness.
Interesting that Vivek and JD Vance were roommates.
“Trump is playing
4D ChessJenga!!Trust the plan …. (“,”)
If the above is true, then I’m sorry to say that, once again, Trump appears to be surrounding himself with people that are not honorable to his populist stance. Where Trump once employed established swamp creatures like Pence, Pompeo, Barr, etc., it appears he is now gravitating toward ‘alternative’ swamp creatures like Musk. I am a Trump supporter, but, to be honest, and even as a dumb layperson, I cannot fathom his selection choices of lawyers or now, ‘allies’. Surely his success throughout the decades does not indicate that he has always had such bad judgment with regard to those he employed…????
Opiner:
Admits to being a “dumb layperson”
Notes that Trump’s life time of unusual success indicates he has had (exceptionally) good judgment. As an aside, perhaps that’s why the reaction “OMG Trump was right. Again” is now a world famous phrase.
Claims to not be able to “fathom his selection choices” lately. An odd thing for a “dumb layperson” to bother trying to “fathom” imho.
The opiner concludes, after saying they are a “Trump supporter” who is a “dumb lay person” that can’t fathom Trumps current moves that OMG Trump no longer has “good judgement”.
Confession through projection, perchance?
Since there are only 180 + DAYS left until this LAST CHANCE is GONE FOREVER perhaps focus on helping out rather than wasting time trying to figure out things that can’t be figured out AND don’t need to be figured out?
Perhaps rather than PREYING on those you claim to support; people who are risking EVERYTHING trying to help YOU, instead start PRAYING for them, yourself and the rest of us?
👏👏👏👏👏
What IFA said! Thank you Cozette for the clean-up in aisle 3.
You cannot fathom because you are not Trump. His “bad judgment” gave this country the most productive four years in a very long time. All the while he fought off the Uniparty and their masters. HE has my support. I am not qualified to second guess his maneuvers to win again.
I don’t know who you are but what you are spreading is BS of the highest order. We would never let the Military run this Country. Never. Any thought of it is just crazy thinking.
Exactly right.
Besides, the US military has sent all their ammo and guns to Ukraine so they can claim empty warehouses when China invades Taiwan.
.
More Q crap? “U.S. is a corporation” crap? Military coup, and “events must play out” crap?
And it magically appeared via mysterious anonymous missive for you on Telegram…
Please stop.
.
I’m thing Sophie is part of the far Left extreme Socialist group.
.
Trump first, has to win election. He’s doing well, and all these guys have interests, wants, and concerns to lobby. Trump listens to and considers everything. And how, e.g. might he meet some legitimate concerns while still addressing others.
.
I was going great until you wrote that Xi was going to bring down his own CCP. A bridge too far. Xi is too worried about his economy collapsing.
Bingo.
I do WANT to believe there is a master plan to save western civilization… and that there are many good freedom loving patriots in our country and world.
We all know, here, how dire the global situation is, how much danger the world is in… how much danger America is in.
But Xi is going to bring down the CCP? 🙄 Xi is the good guy? Doesn’t seem to imply Putin is a white hat just Xi and Modi… and Saudi Prince.
I always thought Q was a psy-op. I just don’t know which side – patriots or globalists – the psy-op plays for.
Now I’m wondering IF maybe Q is a Communist China psy-op. 🤔🤯
THE problem with Q…. is that President Trump when asked to disavow Q refused to do it.
If Q was really a dangerous anti-american leftist psy-op, Trump would have disavowed it.
I kinda think this is a Trump psy-op to mess with the heads of the as-h– traitors in the CIA, NSA, DOD, DOJ, FBI.
Can’t ya see Trump screwing with the minds if the IC deep state? 😂
If Q was really a dangerous foreign or anti-US leftist psy-op, why let your own supporters believe it and follow it. Just shut it down. Disavow it. Easy. Done. TRUMP didn’t want to stop Q.
IF Trump had just disallowed Q, every Trump supporter would never read it again. Q is PRO-Trump. Pro-we are taking down this fascist hedonistic deep state. That’s what Q is all about.
The other issue I do have with Q … is: IF its true. . . WHY tell the enemy your blow-by-blow strategy and plans? I suppose there would be a lot of disinformation in this too.
I’m reminded of the D-Day invasion …. We tricked the Nazis. We deliberately hatched a plan to make the Germans believe we would invade at a different location. It worked- most went to that different fake location … and we invaded at Normany and the world was saved.
I always found Q fascinating…and definitely wanted to believe it. Sometimes I did. Other times I though this is BS.
Ultimately Q – whatever it is- is not really for us. Plus, the left media was obsessed with Q and still are. They trashed it constantly… so it’s NOT their psy-op.
5th generation warfare, asymmetric.
The Enemy had it all – the judicial system, the voting machines, the embeds, the corporations, the MSM.
The only way to fight
back was through the element of surprise (they never expected her to lose), and finding ways around the MSM control, both directly (Trump: The MSM is the Enemy of the People) and indirectly (through their loss of control of the Conversation because the internet was the wild west and they didn’t have adequate censorship in place). Add Wikileaks and Seth Rich, wait out the FISA period, and launch an asymmetrical counter-insurgency attack in the mind war.
Military-civilian alliance.
Dual purpose (at least): wake up the non-normie minds who would be intrigued by codes and numbers, but also sort of a reverse encryption too. You publish the playbook, with the plays by number, and that much is open for the world to see – but you do not actually CALL the plays until future dates, sometimes coinciding with the number of the play (drop) and sometimes coinciding with date or the exact time.
The deltas are still occurring. 34 charges => Drop 34.
So President Trump can say something like, 3:02 in the morning, and where is he tonight? UFC 302.
Similar principles.
His speeches and his old tweets and Scavino’s old tweets also figure in.
Why do it like this? Both to educate people and give people IRL open source leads (Podesta art, Epstein temple, how the foreign aid kickback scams work, the Iran pallets of cash, and that efficacy of HCQ drop that occured around May? of 2020), and the basic commands:
– Think for yourself
– Do your own research
– You are the news now
(Be the real news)
– People tend to panic at these times. You are to be the calm in the storm.
Similar to being the salt and light, in a Christian sense.
And, to simply give hope.
Which isn’t to endorse Sophie’s post, because a lot of that looks like muddying the waters to me. Sort of taking the thing into a foggy muddy field.
Which is why I commented on the Modi thing. The Q team did suggest that the anti-globalist elements of the US, Russia, and China had teamed up to overthrow the New World Order. President Trump’s actions bear this out, imho. Get along with Russia, go meet with Xi in China, free N Korea from CIA control . .
But no mention that I recall of Modi or India (except to note that India like almost every other country in the world has a Central Bank run by the Rothschilds).
Just like the DS likes to confuse things by saying “Qanon.” There’s no such thing. There’s a Q team self-described as fewer than 10, with only 3 non-military. And I’d place very good odds on two of those 3 being Scavino and Archbishop Vigano. Or, at the very least, the team was a great big fan of the Archbishop’s writings.
Me too! “Xi as the good guy.” gave me pause!
Trust Sessions
And Bill Barr is an honest and honorable man.
Yawn! Achoo….bs
Musk is familiar with the downfall of South Africa after apartheid. I am sure he sees the parallels in America. Trump should be cautious, but anyone with a brain knows another four years of Biden will destroy America for every income class.
Apartheid in South Africa deserved to fall since it was a tyrannical system.
The problem is that Marxists snuck in and took over, making things worse. This has happened in other African countries over the decades.
The same could be said about the United States.
We lost our freedoms, bit by bit, and were in large part okay with it, we were fine with “leaders” who didn’t uphold our Constitution, and the Marxists are here right now.
Musk recognizes that, whatever else he is thinking.
Apartheid in SA was demonized. Just ask Zulu Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi for example (or read what he said, he’s dead now).
At this point, I see Musk stepping in because he doesn’t want to see America founder.
Yes, he may have self-interests, but he can have both, can’t he?
The only one I semi trust is Vance.
The rest? Not so much. Gubmint moneywhores & slave owners by proxy.
“Gubmint money whores and slave owners by proxy”.
Ironic ad homs to lob at powerful new Trump allies who are joining his, and our, Anti Mordor NWO Alliance since the chosen user name is “SoldiersMom” and those who typically deploy these ad homs refer to soldiers as warpigs.
Personally, I’m delighted that the people Sundance highlighted are openly joining Trumps Alliance since that increases the chances we might defeat them in this FINAL 2024 BATTLE so we can keep fighting rather than being eliminated forever.
You sure do seem to be attacking a lot of well known regular Treepers just for expressing their opinion of Musk.
And casting aspersions on their character.
Soldiers mom is here almost everyday and is well received.
And you?
I was thinking the same.
Every other poster seems to be getting a hard time from Cozette, who is also a long time reader, poster here.
Perhaps there is a lot of paranoia going around?
Not sure, but Cozette, simmer down a tad huh? Every person saying things here are not bad people or double/triple agents. This place isnt a James Bond movie…
People have their opinions.
The only one that needed a laugh or some slapping around was the Q poster…
Have a beer or something, sheesh!
Opinions only go so far… to criticize outreach to more people to fight this evil is more important than complaining online.
How to put it?
I pick and chose my battles….but there is a tendency on this board to find fault with just about every individual PDJT intersects with who is not inviolably committed to the cause. That’s not how wars are won in the long-run. Sometimes there are strange bedfellows – US and Soviets in WWII?
It also suggests, in some respects, a worrisome psychology. A mindset hair-trigged to reject all comers except the very purest. A mindset that those who are allies might find troubling at times – will I become a target one day because I do not reflexively share every objective.
I have no idea what PDJT is up to. I do know he interfaces with multiple segments of society (e.g., Hispanics, African Americans) whose community objectives only partially overlap. He talks to their leadership. Makes moves in the interests of those communities when it lines up with his philosophies. In return, he receives their support.
I agree that a bridge with Musk draws special attention. Then again, maybe the father of Space Force has a natural bond to the owner of SpaceX. Maybe they have both been strong-armed by gov’t to varying degrees. Maybe the king of “art of the deal”, the same guy who opened conversations with Kim Jong-un, is moving chess pieces. The dude is unpredictable in many respects! I’ld be more focused on whether the Prez has improved setting alerts that detect and then prompt a change in course earlier in the political game of give and take when it comes to allies.
Perfect is the enemy of the good.
I agree with Cozette. So many people do nothing but complain online…
We should all get involved personally in the real world to fight off the cheaters.
This real-worlder is fast approaching 73 and housebound.
This real-worlder has a fair facility with the English language, a very active prayer life, and a long history of imbibing ancient, medieval, and all history from then on (especially of the Reformation and Martin Luther)– of Europe esp and also Chinese, Japanese, and Korean history — and others, most notably church history.
All that preamble to say that I do my part as God has given me ability and interest. I’m reminded of Milton’s sonnet #19, which concludes thusly: “They also serve who only stand and wait.”
Please consider my contributions here as “constructive complaining.” Perhaps my scribbling has been somewhat helpful to some few.
The reading, speeches and interviews that I have listened to since Mr. & Mrs. Trump rode down the escalator in 2016, have led me to trust the intellect and experience of PDJT. An outsider to the DC swamp, he had to learn a lot in a short amount of time after he was sworn in as President.
DC is swarming and seething with greedy shysters. Pres. Trump often had to learn from advisors who was good and who wasn’t. I think that he did a very good job in 4 years, despite being deceived by some wolves in sheep’s clothing.
But now he is wiser, more learned, even more savvy.
If accomplished and smart men like Ackman, Thiel, Musk, Vance, and Ramaswamy want to run with Donald Trump, then in my mind they are throwing in with a winner.
.
Everything is not either black or white. People are not either all bad or all good. Every issue is not binary. Please can we stop with the concrete thinking, or, alternatively, the cloak-and-daggar wild speculation? Now is the time for clear heads, rational insight, and resolve.
.
“Please can we stop with the … cloak-and-daggar wild speculation? Now is the time for clear heads, rational insight, and resolve.”
definitely support that, OC.
not a believer that everything on the planet is a conspiracy theory, including which way the wind blows.
such supposition can seriously impede straightforward solutions to straightforward problems.
if you stub your toe, don’t assume the shoemaker has it in for you –
PICK UP YOUR FEET!😂
A maga men.
With just 6 MONTHS left before this LAST CHANCE to re elect President Trump and Save America is GONE FOREVER, now is NOT the time for PREYING on others, idle prattle and thoughlessly poisonous gossipy opines.
NOW is the time for PRAYING for others and ourselves plus HELPING President Trump succeed.
As Dylan famously said, “EVERYONE serves somebody. It may be the devil. It may be the Lord. But EVERYONE serves”.
Who paves the roads to hell that everyone is forced to take once the roads completed?
Right NOW, ” good intentions” aren’t enuf to get a pass for siding with the sadistic, humanity despisers who intend to pervert and destroy everything that God created and loves.
AMEN.
I couldn’t agree more with you. Instead of this cloak and dagger speculation, I would prefer concrete discussion on how to help President Trump win, and how we as citizens can impede the Biden regime maybe through consumer strikes and boycotts.
The Billionaire class cares about $$$$ they think their bank accounts will save them. MAGA is simply WE THE PEOPLE. The rest are on the take one way or another. Only the paranoid survive.
MAGA is a movement created by a billionaire.
MAGA == Make America Great Again.
“WE THE PEOPLE” includes billionaires.
ALL are welcome to join Gandalf Trumps Anti Mordor NWO MAGA Alliance.
MAGA is the name a billionaire gave to an already existent movement. He did not create it. He did name it and strengthen it though.
Go back to Trump interviews in the 1980’s & 90″s – He was already MAGA. Trump has been dialed in for 30 years already.
Don’t agree here. There was a void in a movement that Trump stepped in and filled. A movement that decades prior was heralded by Pat Buchanan for one. He was also attacked constantly and called racist. Then came the Tea Party and they were attacked.
Trump with his personality, charisma and conviction was the perfect person to carry this movement forward.
A leopard does not change its spots. The leopard might put on a sheep skin for a bit. A few months ago, we had several people running in the Republican Party for President. THERE WAS ONLY ONE THAT WAS MAGA. All of the others were Frauds. Do any of them truly support Trump? No they do not.
Trump always talks about “the first position a candidate takes”. No matter how they change, “they go back to their first position”. Does Musk get tax rebates and carbon credits for Tesla, does Musk get federal dollars for SpaceX, did Musk come clean about X?
Trump will use any of them to get elected. Trump must get elected. Only then will the Piper Be Paid.
It is why I like Trump repeating the SNAKE PARABLE so often.
So, just to be clear, believer in the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Federalist Papers, etc., that you are, it troubles you that our Democratic Republic placed candidates into the primary process who did not share PDJT’s objectives? I understand the need to rally around the obvious leader in a time of peril. I’m speaking to the process itself. It is what it is. It’s purposed to separate the wheat from the chaff based on the peoples’ vote.
Out of curiosity, there was a time when PDJT supported every Democrat cause under the sun. He is one leopard who has changed his spots. Your universal does not hold water.
Democrats were the party of the people and down trodden. Those Democrats died out. They have been replaced by the Party of the Elites, Communists, and Socialists. The Republican Leadership has also moved from what is good for Americans to what is good for Elitists. I thought the Republican Leadership was on our side until I was educated by Sundance.
All accurate.
You still have to create margin for differences in order to govern. This does not automatically imply every core principle has to be sacrificed. The process is set up to give those differences an airing.
The structure is set up to contain excesses.
It’s how it all works. It can be messy. It breaks down when the people in power don’t believe in the system and work to co-opt it. It breaks down when the electorate itself is highly divided and combative.
The Tea Party was disorganized and crushed. It had no real coordinating leadership.
The “movement” which was never as homogenous as you suggest, has had to adapt. The core of Tea Party politics was economic (taxes, federal debt, etc.). Obama, Biden, Dem party politics/machinations have broadened the response agenda (MAGA) to a much wider reach encompassing social, judicial, foreign policy, health and fundamental Constitutional matters.
Trump is not simply someone who picked up the battle flag from the bearer who was shot in the course of political combat. He changed the tactics, operations, objectives and strategy. He began the process of building structure, resources, etc. He succeeded where others failed.
Trump was the ONLY President since Reagan that put America and Americans FIRST. We still would not know there is a UniParty without Trump and Sundance. One fights for us in the political arena and the other fights for us through educating us and building us into an ARMY OF GOD.
Do Not Ever put NWO anywhere near the word MAGA. Guess you don’t understand everything after all.
The word was fronted by an inclusive “anti”. Yes, better punctuation would help.
Is this something that can be expected in the future? Space counts for verboten word groupings? Needed to maintain the integrity, power and/or cleanliness of the message? Doubtful.
All in all, funny (ironic?) just the same since the original poster is being attacked largely for attacking others.
Just a word of caution, the whole tactic of politicized, group attacks practiced as routine gained traction with Plouffe and his on-line minions circa 2007/2008. Careful the company you keep!
The focus should be on the criminals in front of us – you know who they are. Not the bleachers.
Betty….all this internal spitballing is exactly what TPTB want in the 100 days or so leading into the election.
That’s the real threat.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Bill Ackman is a big donor to Harvard and Harvard has attacked his wife. Getting even with the rabid left is on his agenda.
I wouldn’t complain about that, not at all.
I disagree. The “Folks” ie “the Little People” do not have a higher ladder to heaven.
Nope don’t believe one bit. The one world currency is the work of Satan. If the Military had anything to do with saving Trump Dec. 5th. they would have had to step in. Remember Retigers perfect run down how they stopped the only legal path to the Biden Presidency?
NOBODY KNOWS WHAT TOMORROW WILL BRING NOT EVEN WHEN THEY TRY TO FEED YOU MUSHROOM FOOD.
I know Musk has a lot of fans here but I cannot condone anything he does. He’s a transhumanist, he wants you to be a cyborg so you can “keep up” with AI. No thanks.
Tesla was built on the government forcing other car manufacturers to give Tesla money for carbon offsets, plus the tax subsidies for customers buying the Tesla car.
“I can’t condone”.
Pretending to be God?
Emulating the pharisees or sharia law bros?
Please consider PRAYING for rather than PREYING on strangers, especially strangers who are allies right now, for whatever reasons.
“As YOU judge so too you will be judged”.
What he wants and what the President supports are two different things.
They each want many things. Somewhere there is a meeting point where each receives some of what they want sufficient to move the relationship forward.
Relevant article about Vance here: https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/vance-presses-ag-garland-probe-trump-gag-order-ny-case
Thanks for changing the subject.
May be you should start here?
CTH admin and readers, this Q nonsense has got to be called out more often.
Q is scheme concocted to make ordinary people look stupid. 17 intelligence agencies…
The military is running a cryptic script to save us all? Just wait and see? Get your popcorn??
Gaslighting is evil. Stop it.
Also Shaun Maguire (Sequoia Capital), who recently came out to support Trump (after the verdict) has connections to Elon Musk.
Musk seems to be bringing a lot of his wealthy friends along.
Vance and Vivek seem to be trying to actually align with maga policy. Vance seems to have been converted after seeing Trump’s policy results. I like what Vivek says (and he says it well)….but still have trust issues due to his past. Both have certainly worked hard, and been effective, on the Trump campaign.
For many others who are unexpectantly supporting Trump I think it may just be an alliance on various issues. For some it is crypto, for some a wake up after Anti Israel movement flamed up in their faces. For some it may be that the marxist agenda implementation (woke, censureship, regulations, etc) may be starting to hit them personally by now.
Who knows? Maga will have to work with alliances on the political realm. That’s welcomed by me. However, it can not be so infiltrated (by fake maga) and influenced (by non maga alliances) that it gets corrupted as a political movement.
I think many are turning to Trump, because they have seen how vile the current Democrats are.
TM10, it is my belief that several of our branch sitters are forgetting some of the past. Not so much the “party” but the “movement” has a “big tent” ala President Reagan. President Trump opened the flaps of the tent to the “Libertarian Party” who thumbed their noses and walked away. Their loss. Many others are starting to see, hear and feel the excitement and realize they want to be part of it. Some may just stay for the matinee, others may come every day and yet others become performers through hard work and effort.
The tent is big and can get much bigger.
…steps off soapbox…
Thiel was the founder of Confinity.com an electronic payment app for PalmPilots. Musk founded X.com an online bank (Musk’s FIRST company by that name.) Then X merged with Confinity and together they formed Paypal. So both Musk and Thiel are OG members of the so-called “Paypal Mafia” who all became very rich when they sold Paypal to EBay. The PPM went on to found multiple other household-name tech companies, often forming, building then getting bought-out for ever more money; going through that cycle multiple times. As such they are very familiar with computer encryption technologies, payment systems and network security, all of which provide them good insight into the growing cryptocurrency world. All those technologies also are very important “dual use” technologies with both commercial and military/Intel-agency uses. So both Thiel (Palantir) and Musk (SpaceX) have done a LOT of work with the intel agencies and DoD.
Most of the other people in the PPM are Leftists and big Democrat party donors; a leading example being Reid Hoffman.
Ackerman is a hedge-fund guy. He does invest in tech companies and often bets big. So yes they do run in many of the same circles.
I’m not ready to go to binary logic: either love MAGA or hate MAGA. What about accommodate anything that generates a profit? Quest for profit drives a lot of motivation to a lot of people. The task at hand would be to put the most trustworthy MAGA in leadership positions and throw a bone now and then to the “quest for profit” types.
Our Constitution’s sword Excalibur must be pulled from the stone NOW. That sword is the Article IV section 4 guarantee of a republican form of government. Being the only guarantee in the entire Constitution, it must logically take priority over every other constitutional provision, wherever conflict may occur, or else the guarantee fails to be a guarantee, and the words do not allow that.
This priority makes perfect sense. Our form of government itself MUST be preserved. SCOTUS errantly sank this Sword Excalibur into a stone of constitutional desuetude when Justice Brennan (in Baker v. Carr, 369 U. S. 186, 218, 1962) expressed strong skepticism that the court would ever be able to find “discoverable and manageable standards” for adjudicating guarantee clause claims.
That is, he did not know what “republicanism” meant, and didn’t think anyone knew, or would be able to figure it out. His error here would have been laughably wrong if it was not so serious, vitiating the most important provision in our entire Constitution as “nonjusticiable.”
Luckily the SCOTUS itself would, over the next 33 years (in Powell v. McCormack, 395 U. S. 486, 541, 1973; and in U. S. Term Limits v. Thornton, 514 U. S. 779, 795, 1995) discover what republicanism means, citing the very clear definition given by Alexander Hamilton at the constitutional debates in New York:
“The true principle of a republic is, that the people should choose whom they please to govern them. Representation is imperfect in proportion as the current of popular favor is checked.” (As its source for Hamilton’s remarks, Powell, at 541, cites “2 Debates on the Federal Constitution 257 (J. Elliot ed. 1876).”)
Neither of these cases addressed the guarantee of a republican form of government, but they provide exactly what is needed to free the sword from the stone. Hamilton’s definition of republicanism is not only “discoverable,” but it has already been discovered and embraced by the Supreme Court itself.
It also provides a very clear manageable standard of adjudication. If “representation is imperfect in proportion as the current of popular favor is checked,” and government that represents the will of the voters is the definition of republicanism, then any government laws or mechanisms that intentionally or unnecessarily “check the current of popular favor,” undermine the guarantee of a republican form of government and must on that grounds be declared unconstiutional, regardless of what other constitutional provisions, constitutional values, or mere “compelling state interests,” may be on the other side of the scale.
So what state actions are likely to check the current of popular favor? The most obvious is fraudulent elections. Any election process that is intentionally or unnecessarily vulnerable to vote fraud should without exception be struck down as unrepublican and hence unconstitutional.
That would mean for instance, the mass mailing of mail-in ballot applications to every name that was every registered to vote at a particular address, as some states did under cover of Covid, all votable, all votable merely by signing the application, and then applying the same signature to the ballot, with no verification at any point that the person doing the signing is the person named on the ballot.
This was clearly intended to enable mass vote fraud–flooding apartment building foyers and mailrooms with mostly redundant ballot applications that anyone could pick up and vote, and True the Vote proved that Democrats did use this flood of mail-in ballots to steal the 2020 election, just by identifying one small slice of Democrat vote fraud, where in 5 key counties, “2000 Mules” (traced back to Democrat NGOs), systematically stuffed far more than enough fraudulent ballots into one ballot drop-box after another, day after day, to turn five key swing states from Trump victories to stolen Biden “victories,” turning a Trump Electoral College landslide into a stolen Biden fake “win.”
Many other Democrat election-stealing mechanisms that would have been banned decades ago if the republican guarantee had been active: refusal to clean up voter rolls; not requiring voter i.d., allowing hackable electronic voting machines, extending absentee balloting to those who don’t need it. California issuing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, then automatically sending ballots to everyone who has a diver’s license, and only noting obscurely in small print that you can only legally vote the ballot you were sent if you are a U.S. citizen.
Invitation after invitation to vote fraud has gone unchecked because Brennan sank the sword into stone and we haven’t managed to pull it back out yet, even though it is now free. The discoverable and manageable standard for invoking it that Brennan thought could not be found has already been found, and we need to start using it.
In addition to election stealing, the next most obvious way that the current of popular favor can be checked is by weaponization of the powers of government to handicap political opponents, as is blatantly happening on a massive scale now against the MAGA movement and President Trump in particular.
A third obvious way to block the current of popular favor is to censor speech that conflicts with the government line, as has also been happening on a massive scale, with the Obama/Biden intel agencies, State Department, and Homeland Security, organizing online censorship of anyone who questions their Covid and Covid-vaccine lies, their climate lies, their lies about the 2020 election not having been stolen, their lies about J6, pretending that they were not the ones who set this Reichstag fire.
Every case that challenges these unrepublican actions should be including a guarantee clause argument. It is imperative that, before we get to the election, we have already pulled our Constitution’s sword Excalibur from the stone, because the Democrats ARE going to steal this election, just as they stole the last one, and the only way we can stop it is to have this ultimate legal weapon on our side.
We could do nothing in 2020 because the republican guarantee was still sheathed in stone, and if it remains sheathed this year we will again have no effective legal recourse.
The sword MUST be pulled from the stone as fast as humanly possible if our republic is to survive.
This is important stuff, Mr. Rawls, and I thank you for your tutelage in this area.
We need to get on this, and pronto.
Where do we start?
I’d like to see Sundance comment on Rawls post. What does Sundance say? Is this a viable thing to put our efforts into at this time? Something seems amiss. A wild hair, a red herring, a straw dog, etc. etc, ????
It does not need to be Trump’s lawyers who make the guarantee clause argument. The argument could be put before an appellate court (and ultimately before SCOTUS, which could and should happen quickly in the documents case), via a friend-of-the-court brief.
I could do it myself except there are lawyerly procedures and requirements that have to be met to file such a brief. But there are conservative litigation groups that could do it and would want to if they understood the opportunity.
Somehow the entire profession has missed that what Brennan held to be the missing requirement for making a viable guarantee clause case has since been found and embraced by the court.
Yes, if Sundance would post about this, that might be all it takes to put the conservative law groups onto it.
I will just add here, for anyone who is skeptical that the republican guarantee can really have such broad applicability when it is written only as a guarantee to the states:
“The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government…”
Note first that all elections, for federal as well as state offices, are run by the states. Thus any state law or procedure that intentionally or unnecessarily opens the door to vote fraud would be violate the republican guarantee, under Hamilton’s definition, and that is the biggest threat: the damned Democrat election stealing.
As for the weaponization of government against political opponents, when this is being done by state governments (NY and Georgia with their blatantly politicized prosecutions of Trump), this too falls directly under the guarantee to the states. These are unrepublican activities, so state governments engaging in them makes those state governments unrepublican, which is not allowed.
What about violations of free speech? The systematic censorship of conservatives online has been primarily a federal government action, and the Biden administration is also participating in the weaponization state-level prosecutions of Trump. (Fanny Willis had strategy meetings with JoeBama’s DOJ, and the prosecutor in NY was borrowed from the DOJ.)
There is a very strong case to be made that the republican guarantee bars not just state governments, but also the federal government, from violating the requirements of republicanism.
That’s because each state is subject to the jurisdiction of two governments: its state government and the federal government. The guarantee that the states shall have a republican form of government can be read in the contrapositive as a guarantee that they shall NOT be subject to an unrepublican form of government, and if the federal government is unrepublican then each state IS subject to an unrepublican form of government, violating the republican guarantee.
To me this seems straightforward, and I think SCOTUS would see it the same way.
Of course it has to be presumed that all of the forms defined by the Constitution have to be seen as consistent with republicanism, and one might think that this means that the federal government can by definition never be seen as unrepublican, but that naive presumption is belied by Hamilton’s definition of republicanism, requiring in the first instance that there be no intentional checking blocking of the electoral will of the people (by stealing elections, by violating equal protection with politicized enforcement of the laws, or by censoring dissenting voices).
Obviously the federal government can participate in such “banana republic” (not actually republican) activities. It can and it has engaged in mass censorship of dissenting views, in massive weaponization against the MAGA movement, for instance by setting the Reichstag fire at the Capitol on J6, then framing Trump supporters for it and sentencing them to long jail sentences for accepting invitations by police to peacefully walk through the Capitol when violent BLM rioters were never charged at all.
Once it is seen that the federal government CAN act in ways that violate republicanism, it becomes obvious that such behavior violates the guarantee clause, since it places every state under an unrepublican form of government.
True.
The Federalist Papers (you know the authors) very clearly make the case for representative gov’t. They also addressed the dynamics/limitations of minority and majority blocs. The structure of the gov’t, three branches, one of which (the legislative) was designed with two houses whose election processes meet different objectives, actually provides the backbone on which our concepts for representative gov’t stands. It’s not just naked democracy. The system was designed with checks and balances (i.e., the vulnerabilities of democracy and its republic instantiation were thought about).
No argument with your itemization of how the Left/Deep State operate to circumvent the intentions of the founding fathers. Those old blokes always understood that at the end of the day gov’t had to be run by honest brokers of democracy.
Young Sophie, this old man will continue to promote Second Amendment Preservation Act status among all US counties. At present there are greater than 60% identifying as SAPA counties after the pattern of Newton County, MO. I will also assist counties in putting ordinances up to prohibit illegal aliens, migrants and immigration from “housing” in their municipalities, hotels, hostels, etc. I will further assist all red counties that wish to secede from blue states in getting ballot initiatives in their respective counties. If the military wants to “save” us they better hurry up! Some of us are NOT waiting!
I don’t accept the “trust” but verify position any longer. My thoughts about musk are mixed. Mostly I don’t trust him. He is a unique individual, extremely intelligent, walks to the beat of his own drum. I don’t dislike him…I don’t completely trust him. I recent some of his past. I dislike the chicom connection fully…the problems in the country are enormous and staggering and getting worse every day.
So, it is OK…verify position(s), intent(s), then I may trust. But will never fully trust musk.
I have NEVER trusted nor accepted the Trust But Verify dictum.
My dictum is VERIFY then trust.
What a load of croc. Please stop believing this QANONSENSE..
Lots of people waking up; so far, in early voting the only party people are changing their registration to is to Republican from Democrat. Really small town America is no longer willing to pretend. Of course, its just primaries and no Presidential candidates are on this ballot (there were caucuses and such earlier in the year) but people don’t change lifelong affiliations with the determined jaws that I’ve seen these past few days unless they are royally pissed. (sorry for the language)
If this be the issue that wakes up some of the wealthier normally Democrat aligned voters, good. President Trump and his close people just have to be on the lookout for any Brutus’ out there wanting to weasel in. I suspect whoever self-elects that role will be a longtime RINO though since these billionaires have to be seeing they are easily the next targets should they not fall in line, and now is definitely the only time to make their choices known to all.
I remember it was Mattias Desmet who said, with the mass-hypnosis, the earlier and the more people who speak out against the tyranny tactics the greater chance to keep things from going full horror show.
Please take the Q marbles and go home.
I’m usually too busy to comment.
I’m a Christian so I like to be kind.
Your post requires me to tell you I think you are full of horse pucky.
Put me on your enemy list.
👊✝️👊
Yup, a whole lotta hoss puckey!
TRUMP/PALIN.
2024.
I think that
Trump/Lake 2024
sounds good.
And I do like Sarah Palin, and would not complain about her
Lake got a raw deal, here in AZ.
I’d like to see her have a chance to show the world what she’s made of.
That ship won’t be sailing, I’m sad to tell you.
She made an adequate governor for Alaska at the time.
My impression of her, and it’s only an impression, is that her metier is more in the realm of eye candy than it is in serious policy formation and implementation. Yes, she handled herself well in the narrow field over which she had input, the oil and gas issues of her state at that time.
She is certainly a patriot. Maybe she could get in there at the commie dept of education and throw the whole shebang into confusion as she upends all its nasty work.
PS: I have nothing against eye-candy; it has its benefits.
Oh my, everything is not a conspiracy, nor is there always an ulterior motive……unless you are trying to leave that impression.
JD Vance and Ramaswamy are now on the suspect list for America First poseurs just because they stayed in the same dorm while at University.
Peter Thiel and President Trump are good friends. Hmmm, budding conspiracy?
I think we have far more serious things to worry about than who President Trump is friends with or who he is working with. As long as Pence, Christie, Sessions, and other backstabbers from his previous admin are not involved, then I see no need to jump to unwarranted conclusions.
Did you see Kellyann Conway on Bartoromo when asked about VP choices ? She said he should look to to senate (!!)
and POMPEO!
Whaaaat? Crazy…. i did not see that.
Get KellyAnn outta here. She has nothing to offer Trump.
No one with a shred of reasoning capability could believe these men have become “converted” to a MAGA agenda at this 11th hour. They have all gotten where they are with a “Make My Own Interests Great Again” agenda and everything they endorse is diametrically opposed to President Trump’s agenda for America. Their actions have proven that, over and over. If they are entertaining support for him now, they are merely seeking to position themselves for their agenda, not his.
If President Trump has learned anything at all, I hope he takes their money, should they give it, make friendly noises with them but PROMISE NOTHING. President Trump should have long had his fill of being…um…known in the biblical sense, without even candy or flowers to show for it.
When someone shows you who they are, believe them!
Count me on the “worming” side of this equation. Musk is CEA I AH, IMO.
The age of ego-politics: Elon Musk and the power of the tech giants
https://ecfr.eu/article/the-age-of-ego-politics-elon-musk-and-the-power-of-the-tech-giants/
Yeah. I’ve been hearing and reading this kind of stuff for 40 years from all sorts of, how shall we say, mysterious sources. They always start off by reviewing some current events, claim that they predicted the recent events a decade ago, then move on to some of the most outlandish predictions imaginable. Some secret group somewhere is always going to ride to the rescue and they promise all will be revealed to the world soon. The outlandish predictions have never come true. Secrets are never revealed and everything always gets much worse.
Everything predicted by this secretive “insider” is not believable and won’t happen.
This is an awful lot of nonsense. I think you cut and pasted this from? Somewhre?
Dual reasons IMO.
They are starting to realize that everyone is at considerable risk and have the potential to lose everything and be persecuted just as PDJT was. For this reason they will support him to save themselves.
They also want to influence PDJT to steer him towards the way they want things to be – to trust them is to ignore his favorite poem to read…
That’s quite good, Harrison.
Politics makes for strange bedfellows.
Seems applicable here.
One of the issues that is not addressed is the cost of running a campaign. If you are a person who wants to run for office at any level in the USA you have to suck up to those who will finance you.
Some countries recognise the problem and give some funding.
Imagine the cost of sending ONE campaign letter to 300 miliion people.
That’s true. But doesn’t the franking privilege vastly reduce mailing costs for candidates? Or, is it just for current congress critters and the like?
Take this nonsense to Media Matters.
Sophie…NO!
Being wide awake and voting are not necessarily the same thing.
He has to get elected first, and Elon Musk is influential.
Great news! Mrs. Adelson donates $100 Million to President Trump PAC.
