REMEMBER: The need for control is a reaction to fear. Often people write the professional political leftists within the IC, Deep State and DOJ/FBI apparatus do not look fearful, act with fear, nor do they operate from an appearance of fearfulness. However, that counterpoint is wrong. It is exactly fear that creates the severe need for control. The more fearful they are, the more vitriolic and dangerous their triggered need for control becomes.
The way to destroy the professional political left is to laugh at them. Laugh and ignore the communists. Ridicule evil. Belittle them. Force them to exhibit their insufferable need for control. I am openly a person of faith. I also accept things as they are. After watching closely, I believe the only aspect of the man that reconciles with the visible outcome is that Donald John Trump is surrounded by protection. Prayer works.

Let’s see, there are 435 members of Congress (current total). Of those, there are 217 Republicans in Congress. While I’ve long said the Rs as a whole need to get more backbone, I just have to ask; do you know them all? I sure don’t. Recall that the crooks in Arizona resorted to voter suppression through “technical malfunctions” at the polling place and spoiling ballots that did get cast. They didn’t do it with software.

The crooks in AZ did much more than what you suggested above… they actually used the electronic machines to force rejection at tabulation (counting) time by explicitly and purposefully printing huge numbers of ballots with the other electronic machine (the ballot generating one; you know the one that essentially deprecates the original vote then generates a copy to print out) that were NOT THE RIGHT SIZE to be counted by the former machine. Experts testified in court that the setting to do this had to be explicitly and purposefully changed by someone. It was no accident. Facts.
Why would you do that again? You mean, why would you vote? Because a rusty sword is better than no sword at all. Thankfully, not all the vote swords are rusty. And ALL of them are useful, the best swords and the old swords.

I agree with you. I have been in third world countries that have had revolutions. I see far too many of the same warning signs here to deny the possibility of Civil War as the real outcome of the 2024 elections. The democrats will never accept a Trump victory in 2024 and will do anything to prevent him taking office. The Right though being much more law abiding is being pushed into a corner with no other options. Unfortunately if it occurs it will not be near as civilized as the first Civil War, it will look more like Syria. There will be multiple factions and foreign powers involved all scrambling for power.
When overseas one of the most interesting things I observed was the capacity of people to deny what is obviously about to happen. One of the rules of being an expat is to never, never get involved in local politics but that does not mean you can ignore what is happening in local politics. You should always follow local politics and be aware of what is happening and the implications for you as an expat. Another rule is to always have an exit plan and be ready to put it in effect at a moments notice. I noticed that the closer we got to revolution and combat the more expats and companies denied what was about to happen. That is because war is incredibly inconvenient and expensive, also it is really scary to think seriously about because unlike the movies death and injury are real and after the battle the director does not call cut and everyone gets up and goes get coffee. It is easier to deny it and not think about it. I can’t deny I did my share of ignoring what was about to happen and unfortunately we could not count on State to give a heads up in time.
I terms of the current situation we are in don’t make the same mistakes we made as expats. Have a realistic plan B and plan C and be prepared to put them in effect. For example you can assume Maxine Waters is just a stupid democrat politician making more dumb remarks when she accused Trump MAGA supports of going to training camps this summer to prepare for Civil War if Trump is not elected. Another possibility that is not so obvious is that she was sending a coded message to her party’s brown shirts (ANTIFA, BLM, etc.) to start preparing for war this fall if Trump is elected. Maybe it is not just politics and a neurotic psychological condition when democrats accuse Republicans of what they are doing or planning to do.

I almost came to the point of despising the agency I worked for in the Fed when all of the people who knew how to get things right retired or passed away.

But Paul, while he encouraged the Christians in Rome (and elsewhere), “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities” (Rom 13:1) he also spelt out the God given responsibility of rulers and governments:

Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority?
Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval,
for he is God’s servant for your good.
But if you do wrong, be afraid,
for he does not bear the sword in vain.

Christians need to confront rulers and governing authorities with their God given responsibility – whether they acknowledge God or not:
governments are to
• encourage good conduct and approve of this behavior
• punish bad conduct and create fear of the punishment
• administer the severest punishment for the worst conduct
governments are to be called out when they
• punish the innocent and protect the guilty
• tax their citizens but squander the money
• do not uphold the law and punish those breaking the law
• pass laws that call good evil and evil good

This is an interesting topic. Clearly, the lawfare against President Trump is based in fear. The fear that he will expose their many crimes and abuse of government power. The fear that he will reverse their anti-American policies.
But on a broader level, the entire purpose of the Democratic Party is to have total control. Whether you call it socialism or communism or fascism, the goal of the Democrats is to have one party rule over the people. We don’t oppose the Democrats so vehemently just because we differ on what the tax rates should be or how much money the government should spend on welfare, although those are important policy differences. No, we have to oppose the Democrats in order to save our freedom.
As Sundance always says, the Republicans want money and the Democrats want power. Well, what do the Democrats want that power for? They want the power to exert control over us. So its hard to differentiate their desire for control arising from fear and their basic thirst for power.
I think the counterpoint that the Democrats do not appear fearful is based on the fact that they never seem to suffer any consequences from the judicial system or electorally. Except right now, Joe Biden and many Democrats face the loss of political power and thus control because of their economic policies and immigration policies and, on a local level, because of their soft on crime policies. If they were truly fearful of losing power, wouldn’t they simply reverse those policies in order to remain in power?
I know most Democrat voters are low info voters and the Democrats can count on the media to cover for them. Democrats are also making efforts to hide the effects of their policies and even pretending to reverse some policies like the pointless tariffs on China. Still, if they were really fearful of losing control then they would change the things that are causing them to lose that control. Instead, they obviously have some sort of guiding hand that oversees their policies and knows that while they may lose some control in the short term, the long term effect of their open borders immigration will lead to more Democrat voters in the future and then more power. The economic policies destroying the middle-class will result in more people being dependent on government and supporting Democrat politicians. So while individual Democrats may fear losing personal power, the party knows that in the long run, these policies will help them gain more power.
I know Sundance was specifically talking about the IC, Deep State and DOJ/FBI and not making a general statement about all Democrats. Still, I think its an interesting subject and one which I don’t have the words to articulate properly but I think its important to keep in mind that overall, the Democrats are not motivated by fear as much as they are motivated by their desire for power.

Second, it ruined the plan to go back to the well repeatedly for a “drip-drip-drip” attack against President Trump using this “confidential” document.
