Unfortunately, as expected the death toll in the Crocus City Hall theater attack has doubled. Russian authorities now put the death toll at 140, with hundreds more injured. The death toll is still expected to continue climbing as rescue workers continue working to find bodies amid the rubble.
This story is a matrix of horror and terrorism. The originators and the motive behind the attack presents as a network of extremely sketchy actors. Do not rush to judgement. Allow the data to surface. Expanded discussion after the facts as presented.
The four terrorist gunmen responsible for the attack were tracked as they fled Moscow and captured in the Bryansk Region of Russia. They were traveling by car southeast away from Moscow toward the border with Ukraine. According to interrogation video {LINK} two of the suspects claimed to be from Tajikistan and were recruited by an unidentified entity in Turkey to carry out the attack.
The claim is they were living in a hostel near north Moscow and were paid $5,000 each (500,000 rubles) to carry out the attack. They were provided the weapons in the Moscow suburb, with instructions to drive southeast to Ukraine for safe harbor after the attack. If accurate and/or truthful, each of these elements creates a datapoint for the Russian intelligence apparatus to identify the source.
The fact that they were captured alive, indicates the people/entity who organized and directed their terror mission wanted them to be captured alive. The fact they were instructed to head to Ukraine, indicates the people/entity who organized their terror mission wanted them to be intercepted en route to Ukraine.
In an address to the country on Saturday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said 11 people had been arrested, including four gunmen suspected of carrying out the attack. President Putin linked what he called a “barbaric terrorist attack” to Ukraine in a carefully worded statement released Saturday. President Putin expressed deep condolences and declared Sunday a National Day of Mourning for those lost.
The terrorists, he said, had “tried to hide and move towards Ukraine, where, according to preliminary data, a window was prepared for them on the Ukrainian side to cross the border.” The Russian President vowed to hold those responsible for the “barbaric terrorist act” to account.
“All the perpetrators, organisers and those who ordered this crime will be justly and inevitably punished. Whoever they are, whoever is guiding them,” Putin said.
“We will identify and punish everyone who stands behind the terrorists, who prepared this atrocity, this strike against Russia, against our people.”

Unfortunately, there are a myriad of mutually aligned interests who would benefit by provoking Russia into the type of retaliation that can provide them benefit. That’s why we should wait to assemble more information.
The primary geopolitical players who might organize and benefit from the terror attack would be, USA, Ukraine, Turkey and Israel, or a combination therein. Each nation has an independent motive that aligns with the larger objective to draw Russia into a bigger conflict with the “West.”
Whoever told the terrorists to seek safe harbor in Ukraine, wanted to give Russian President Putin the publicly pressuring impression that Ukraine was involved. This is a big datapoint that must be overlaid against the interests of those who organized the attack.
While the Muslim Brotherhood does not like Vladimir Putin at all, the organizer of this attack was not likely to be ISIS-K as the media keep saying.

I don’t know of any large public space that permits concealed carry. An attack like this in the US would only be carried out at a venue or location where firearms are not permitted, unless it’s a suicide mission, in which case a suicide vest would be a far more effective as the bomber could work their way into a thick crowd before blasting themselves to paradise.
From what I can tell from the videos the 4 gunmen remained in close proximity to each other as they worked their way thru the venue, which should be enough to deter a lone hero with a concealed semi-auto pistol and limited ammunition from attempting to take out a 4-man assault team equipped at minimum with legitimate military grade assault rifles & grenades.
Russia has gone to great lengths to minimize the effects of their SMO on their civilian population, this attack may change their internal security presence going forward with Russian citizens being protected in public areas by their National Guard to deter anyone from attempting a similar attack.

Let’s be careful with our interpretations and not make the analytical error of premature or excessive abstraction. It was NEVER some object called “The West” but always individual actors, like France. It was the empire of Enlightenment France who invaded Russia in 1812. Prussia, Austria, Italy, Briton, and Spain were allies of Russia against France. Don’t inadvertently join the anti-white leftist cattle stampede of blaming all of European civilization for everything.

I have seen videos by independent journalist Eva K. Bartlett that show the maiming of children and villagers that is done by these ‘disguised’ explosives. To a child one of these may look like a toy airplane or butterfly. The child picks it up, and at the very least his or her arm is ripped off when it explodes. An adult walking through tall grass that kicks or steps on one of these mines will have his foot or much of his leg blown off. One missile in flight can carry and disperse hundreds of these small land mines over a broad area. These things are stuff of the devil. They have been outlawed by over 100 nations. Divert attention from the Gaza conflict is the only reason that I could brainstorm, but that would be very short-term.
I doubt that Israel was involved in this attack, but only time will shed disinfecting light.
Ensure that Russia’s focus remains solidly on Ukraine/Nato and not on supporting Hamas would be another.
I imagine it would also help Israel if somehow the attackers are linked to a terrorist group backed by the Iranians. I’m sure Israeli intelligence would love to drive a wedge between Moscow and Tehran.

-There was a real evacuation plan, but he Russians are better at surveillance via drones, aircraft and satellites than the people planning the operation believed.
All of which have vastly different consequences depending on which is true… which is why it is best to just record the data points for now rather than buy into any specific narrative.

I am almost positive that Vladimir Putin has had nothing to do with defenestration of anyone. If there were any proof of the widespread propaganda that President Putin has had his opposition murdered, it would be provided and discussed on left wing propaganda site Wikipedia.
The fact that no verifiable proof exists makes me feel that this is western propaganda to make people hate Russia and its leader.
I didn’t say he HAD defenestrated anybody, just that if it needed to be done to preserve Russia, he’d probably do it.
Where the moral line is drawn between ordering a bombing attack on an Azov battalion base and ordering the assassination of one of their paymasters seems to me to be a pretty fine line.
Ordering or knowingly allowing children to be killed, otoh, is on the far side of a moral line for anyone with a soul who has any notion of eternal justice, imho.

Ukraine appears to be a testing ground for the CIA and it’s NATO partners. For example; bio weapons stations throughout the Country, MK Ultra tactics on the people, billions of dollars of weapons that that might be under their control and like Ben Ghazi end up in places that they seek to destabilize, graft and monetary theft for the big guys. I have even heard of the harvesting of body parts. The devils workshop so to speak, training on how to destroy a country and take it over.
I pray the Russians do not find a connection to this terrorist attack to the US or we can expect retaliation attacks in this Country. That could lead to a tit for tat and an escalation of attacks back and forth. Our Intel communities are putting every American Citizen in grave danger as we now have millions of military aged men here that do not like us and would proudly do a job for the Russians. Hell, it seems like even our own spooks would facilitate a nefarious deed against US.
Our leaders need to become real men and find a way to make friends out of so-called enemies. Trump can do it. Is he the only one?

Ukraine already sent a poor truck driver to a fiery death over the Crimean bridge. Killing innocence is something they have shown willingness to do.
