Judge Scott McAffee and his wife previously donated to the campaign of Atlanta District Attorney Fani Willis, so the decision today doesn’t exactly come as a surprise.
Judge McAffee doesn’t want to be the white guy who removes the black district attorney. So, instead he outlined all of the malfeasance, impropriety, lack of judgement, corruption and poor conduct, then tells the DA either her office or the special prosecutor she appointed needs to be removed. Heck, it’s almost as if McAffee is auditioning to be the next House Speaker.
SEE 23-page Ruling HERE
But seriously, what level of judicial cowardice is needed to decline to remove the DA yet recommend a host of regulatory agencies to review and do the dirty deed, so he doesn’t have to?
Within hours special prosecutor Nathan Wade resigned, as Fani Willis swooned over their love connection.
ATLANTA – Nathan Wade, the Georgia special prosecutor hired by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to lead the election fraud case against Donald Trump, resigned just hours after a judge ruled that either he or Willis had to step down for the case to proceed.
Willis accepted Wade’s resignation in a letter released Friday afternoon and thanked the private lawyer, with whom she’d had a romantic relationship that threw the case into turmoil.
“I will always remember − and will remind everyone − that you were brave enough to step forward and take on the investigation and prosecution of the allegations that the defendants in this case engaged in a conspiracy to overturn Georgia’s 2020 Presidential Election,” Willis wrote. (read more)

MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann called for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to recuse herself from her Georgia election racketeering case focused on former President Donald Trump and a number of his allies.
Weissmann, also a professor and co-host of the Prosecuting Donald Trump podcast, defended Willis against allegations of a conflict of interest, noting Judge Scott McAfee said there was no evidence of such in his Friday ruling. McAfee ordered that either Willis or special prosecutor Nathan Wade be removed from the case. Willis was accused of engaging in an intimate relationship with Wade before he was hired onto the case, something they both denied. They admitted to a short relationship that began after he was hired.
Weissmann called the ruling by Judge McAfee “absolutely infuriating” on Friday’s Morning Joe shortly after it was released. (LINK)
She dindunuffin!…
Oh, and this judicial ruling can be appealed…. lolol
…And don’t forget, according to White House visitor logs, Mr. Nathan Wade visited White House lawyers prior to indictment of President Trump, while DA Willis met with staff (Mary McCord) from the January 6 Committee prior to the indictment. The scope of the political lawfare is in bright sunlight now.
The Georgia prosecutor, meeting with Biden lawyers prior to the indictment against Biden’s political opposition, is a big issue that has yet to surface in front of Judge McAfee.
Carry on!

The whole case is a constructed op from way back.
And this is not McAfee’s first rodeo.
McAfee – born 88 or 89.
Graduated law school 2013.
Interned for:
Keith Blackwell-Assoc Justice of GA SC. Resigned 11/18/20 after election;
David Nahimas – Assoc Justice of GA SC. Appointed Chief 7/1/21. Co-editor of Harvard Law Review with OBAMA.
Worked with Fani 15-17
Asst US Attorney
They’re everywhere
Need clowns with hair on fire jumping off the bow…
This is getting way beyond stupid.
Conflict of interest. Campaign contributions to her should make him ineligible to oversee the case.
Agreed!
Part 2
Asst USA 17-21. USA Pak and then Christine both resigned suddenly.
4/1/21 – Kemp appointed IG for state. Think Horowitz, but for GBI
Jan 23 – ‘special’ GJ
2/1/23 – Kemp appointed as Fulton Judge
Aug 23 – GJ indictments
McAfee appointed Judge.
All of this before 35.
Connect the dots.
I have.
They don’t even attempt to hide their corrupt, lyin’ eyes. 👹
We all know what happened. Da Judge got a visit by members of BLM and told him in no uncertain terms that if you rule against FAT FAnni your house will be burnt to the ground with your family inside of it. And he is not going to win reelection because of this.
Yep. Straight talk sure saves time. The judge lacked the balls.
It will be interesting to keep track of his employment tracks after this trial is finished. Will he still be a ‘golden boy?’ Will he win or lose his election in May.
This completely reeks, both Willis and McAfee were like poor actors. Wade and his sad face, that divorce Attorney! The whole court show was a fumbling comedic mess. I have seen more legitimate court proceedings watching local amateur high school public cable access.
We are being majorly gas lighted here and the best defense presented is to scream racism, when the proof of collusion is slapping everyone in the face!
Did anyone ever think anything different would happen? These people are a street gang. Arguing “law” with them is like arguing with MS13, or a Sovereign Citizen.
“Forget it, Jake,…. it’s Hotlana Town!”
Cold anger
The milk is at the edge of the pot!
That won’t change a damned thing except your digestion.
I watched/listened to all of the testimony. Now that I think back on it, given the judge’s decision, there was a point where the judge said I don’t want to hear anymore, I already have enough to make my decision.
Translation: The fix was already in. I am drawing the line here.
I believe this was closing arguments day, when a lot of new info had been already coming out. It is clear he did not accept any of that.
So, the next question is, can any of this stuff he did not accept get into the appeals court?
And/Or maybe that is also what he was trying to stop, by drawing a line?
when does perjury apply? I’m seeing more instances of lying under oath, but nobody gets charged with anything?
How are WE any better then the globalists and deep state actors; if we mislead, misstate or omit important facts from a discussion? As I understand it the judge gave ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS to the DA’s campaign. So it is truthful to say that he contributed but is $100 significant in showing anything? Sure we would have liked a different outcome (I would like to win the lottery) SO WHAT? The judge did not say anything incorrect, unreasonable or untrue in his decision. His earlier decision to throw out some charges could open a Pandora’s box if the DA tries to redo them. Moreover, the ramifications of his most recent decision are totally unclear at this point, I.E. with Wade’s removal because of a conflict it is entirely likely that everything Wade touched will ultimately be deemed as inadmissible under the doctrine of the poisoned fruit. So with many motions and appeals still pending or possible I personally am going to prayerfully wait and see what actually happens.
$1, or $100, it shows which side he is on.
Are you whistling past a graveyard? Whether it’s cowardice or blackmail motivating the judge, being “reasonable” aboutany of the players in this ongoing chapter of leftist corruption or hysterically comparing our level of evidence and knowledge about the facts of life to that of globalists is RINOesque. You do you, but leave the rest of us out of it.
As a judge, and officer of the court, McAfee let Willis, also an officer of the court, off scot-free WHEN SHE LIED UNDER OATH, SHE PERJURED HERSELF. That’s where it should have ended, she should be brought up on charges for committing perjury! You are held to a higher standard when you’re an officer of the court. You do not shrug your shoulders and go, “Oh well, oops.”
Are there any sane people in the legislature in Georgia that will put a stop to this?
So Jeanine, I’m of course only asking for a friend; the judge said that some things (like her lying) were beyond the question asked the court in the underlying action and as such beyond his jurisdiction.
Who do you think would actually bring a charge and prosecution regarding “perjury”? Hint: not the judge – that is correct the DA – See the problem yet?
The judge, as an officer of the court, can ask for charges to be brought against anyone committing perjury! Actually, he has a duty, as an officer of the court, to bring those charges. And not only against Willis, but against Wade and the other attorney, whose name escapes me right now. You do not let judicial officers continue to represent the Georgia Bar in cases when they’ve committed perjury!
Whoever Trump appoints to be his AG is going to have to be the kind of person willing to arrest this judge, Fani, Wade, and the rest of the cabal on corruption charges. It’s going to take bankrupting them and prison time. Anybody who donates money for their legal defense gets an IRS audit.
Would love to see Trump do a rally in GA in front of Kemp’s house and ask why the governor is okay with Attorney Generals who lie in court and launder money to themselves….
It’s way more than just these clowns.
Thousands of them.
I know a guy who just might be perfect for the job. He’s living in Texas…
yes, Ken Paxton
As Boston radio host Howie Carr says when addressing such loonies, “Keep your arms out so it’s more difficult for them to catch you when they throw a net over you.”
They should be throwing the net over this entire crew.

Nothing ever happens to them and never will
Until bullets fly!!
How big IS this shite show? LOL.
Our “justice system” is like stand up comedy.
Nobody’s laughing.
The exits have been blocked, the doors padlocked; we are condemned to sit in our seats and watch it all implode.
We fool ourselves if we believe we have a country anymore.
McAfee, though compromised, is not a stupid man. So I hope when he goes home tonight and every night thereafter, when he looks at himself in the mirror he sees what we see…
Someone who has disgraced his oath and himself. Someone who has played his part in the gratuitous persecution of a patriotic man who loves this country. Someone who has defaced his own character and destroyed any claim he thought he had to judicial ethics.
While we have to live with his “ruling”, he will have to live with himself.
He knows what he has done…and hasn’t.
A well deserved fate.
I hope he chokes on it.
Excellent, thoughtful post, thank you.
Is ANYBODY who frequents the Treehouse surprised? Comey, Mueller, Hu, McAffee. Deep State tools behave like Deep State tools? Who da thunk it? C’mon Man.
Only guilty people act like Willis did on the stand, and the judge knows that. Low IQ criminals act exactly like Willis did on the stand.
Id hoped the judge would grow a pair, but I’m not surprised.
Our justice system is gone. Meanwhile, Trump’s lawyers face disbarment for the act of defending their client in election fraud cases like John Eastman. If you are a conservative facing a judge you’re toast. I just hope the people wake up to how far gone our Republic is.
It’s Peppermint time.
Did the judge forget this bs was televised? The world now sees what corrupt judges and lawyers look like. Get Trump at all cost.
Prague, Bratislava, Budapest…. several other places where Caucasians still run things are starting to look like a better option for retirement. I don’t think I want to be an old man in the USA. Just watched the video of the black guy on the NYC subway that picked a fight and ended up getting shot with his own gun. Too bad he’s still alive. Why are SO MANY Black Americans racist, violent, thugs? Or corrupt, racist politicians? Sick of it! EVERY DAY another news article about some murder or horrible crime “they” committed. 14% of the population but a huge proportion of all crime. And yet I will be the one called a racist for noticing and keeping score. We are being punished because our idiot forefathers brought slaves here. The gift that keeps on giving. And this judge may be a coward, but he also knows he couldn’t dare remove a Black DA without putting himself and his family in danger. Law of the jungle.
“And yet I will be the one called a racist for noticing and keeping score.”
If there is anything certain in life — that is it.
Believe it or not Russia is a good choice as well.
Yep! Who’d of thunk it? And the women are beautiful in all of those places. I really don’t want to leave.
I just want the American I grew up in to come back.
Poland used to be on that list until they recently went off the globalist cliff.
I gotta believe the lawyers (I won’t describe them further) behind all of these shop this shit around for the perfect Angry Black Woman to push out front to run with it and to take the heat when it all blows up.
The cowardice/weakness displayed by so many across all federal, state & local gubmints & frankly all institutions is absolutely stunning.
Courage is contagious. Be infectious. Thank you SD.
“potential untruthfulness” ROFL!!!
If I’m a defense lawyer, I’ve already got my subpoena for Wade prepared. He’s now a witness. Keep throwing sledgehammers of truth at the fundamental illegitimacy of the entire prosecution.
What a chickenshit ruling. Wondering if he was intimidated by his own imagination about what could happen to him or he had outside help ( IC, BLM, FBI DOJ for example).
Surprise, surprise, surprise!
McAfee got to vote twice – once in the election, and a second time giving her a pass from her crimes.
This is Kemp’s Georgia. He went off to Davos and let this play. Georgia’s Republican Party needs to catch up and get rid of these America Last Republicans.
tastes like 💩
Where’s Trayvon?
lower right
gentle giant to his left, in the middle
don’t recognize lower left

Dunno what dumbass name his mama made up but he’s a Rocket Surgeon I’m sure.

thx, Jimmy, good eye
That is hilarious nim. Definitely the meme of the day. Keep em coming friend
thx, that one’s been tucked in a file since I first saw it, prob here at the Tree
Well, the annoying thing about this whole affair is the republican pundits and experts that said Fanni was finished.
Fani was finished … with her stooge.
She got screwed and then he did.
Guess I don’t put much weight on predictions.
And I don’t rely on most pundits because most are controlled-op and the remainder are just ordinary people like you ar me –the only differece is they have access to a microphone. “Experts” are a category that has completely lost my trust.
Upside no frustration from the pundits calling it wrong.
She still might be…
https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/wireStory/kemp-signs-georgia-law-reviving-prosecutor-sanctions-panel-108094402
McAfee let a serial liar stay on the case. How can the defendants get a fair trial with an unethical D.A.? The answer is they cannot. Fani also illegally hired Nathan Wade without getting county approval. I hope the defendants appeal.
she also demonstrated under questioning that she’s – by nature – surly, combative, vindictive, foul-tempered … not qualities one would require to conduct an ethical prosecution of ANYONE
Sounds just like Joe Biden !
keep it up, John – he’ll take you out behind the school gym
Move to disqualify Judge Macaffee.
completely predictable. the bigger surprise would have been if the judge boomed the woman.
live your best life.
nothing meaningful happens until a commie democrat is frog marched or gets the gitmo treatment.
What a country!
In times past that would be referring to Zimbabwe. But not anymore.
FTA –
In late 2018, McAfee was appointed as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Northern District of Georgia, also in Atlanta, where he prosecuted cases including fraud, illegal firearms and drug trafficking. McAfee’s boss at the time was U.S. Attorney Byung J. “BJay” Pak, a Trump appointee who abruptly resigned in early 2021 after a colleague warned him Trump was planning to fire him because he hadn’t validated claims of widespread election fraud.
Months after Pak resigned, McAfee was appointed by Kemp to be Georgia’s inspector general. tness against the former president….
https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/03/12/judge-scott-mcafee-trump-georgia-case-fani-willis/
About Bjay….
Who is BJay Pak and why is he testifying in the Jan. 6 hearings?
BJay Pak, the former U.S. Attorney General for the Northern District of Georgia, testified June 13 before the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, detailing his experience with the Trump campaign’s false claims of voter fraud.
https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/who-is-bjay-pak-and-why-is-he-testifying-in-the-jan-6-hearings
Quoting PBS is equivalent to quoting CNN.
If this is what you’re talking about – “detailing his experience with the Trump campaign’s false claims of voter fraud”?…
Everyone here knows exactly what that means coming from that source. Everyone here is educated on the Who’s who MSM. Everyone.
But incase it needs to be said again – TRUMP VOTER FRAUD CLAIMS ARE TRUE.
Mcafee, Fanni and Nathan should all be disbarred. But Atlanta and Macon county is thoroughly corrupt. Not to mention the RINO’s running the state.
In other words:
“… a sympathetic, well-meaning,
elderlywoman with poormemorymoral”“Although there is evidence of potential violations regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case,”
Where are the Boyz in the Hood when you need them!
From C&C for what it’s worth.
“..the judge just deadlocked and effectively stayed the case until all appellate options have been exhausted. And once that process completes, assuming Fani survives all the other attacks coming her way outside the courtroom, then she will still have to deal with the dismissal of six key counts that the Judge entered two days ago.
Thus, there is now zero chance of a trial before the November elections. And Trump still has a pending presidential immunity defense percolating through the Supreme Court that could knock the case out in the meantime while it sits idle.
So I will go out on a limb and say, in my opinion, this very smart judge was playing four-D chess. This decision, though disappointing in the short term, might be much better in the long term than an outright disqualification would have been. Disqualification and dismissal are extreme remedies that would have been vulnerable to reversal by the wrong appellate panel. And it leaves a badly-injured DA floundering around the case.
Judge McAfee is heading for an appellate court appointment regardless of what happens in his election”.
“Thus, there is now zero chance of a trial before the November elections.”
Well, we know for sur there is zero chance of a fair trial before the November elections.
Hahaha, 4d chess my ass.
Give me a break.

Was that Satan’s (ValJ) daughter in the first clip?
I bet Fani, the racist, will also refile the charges the cowardly judge threw out.
He’s going to lose the election anyway. The judge should’ve shown some backbone to go down with his head held high. IMO.
Include “judicial decisions like this one” on your now and ever-longer list of things that motivate you to resist.
I’m glad for the ‘wins’ where we get them, but this feces should be shut down. Trump needs to be reimbursed for his legal fees. Hell or highwater.
The Myth of the Noble Savage continues.
Just AXE me something is rotten in Denmark the judge is a political hack.. This is far from over State of GA is coming after her…
The good thing about it is that it leaves a hot mess.
A costly hot mess but never the less another garbage lawfare attack floundering.
Also lots of room for light and perhaps at some point someone coming clean.
It should be a federal crime for a judge to donate to any candidate running for office.
This must be one of those judges with principles. /sarc
Another
Russia, Russia, Russia!
Butt
Nathan may have actually
Waded in Fanni’s golden showers
Fani and The United Spot. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOL! And don’t forget that Wade’s mom went on vacation with them too!
Fani cash was kept were she laid her head! (That doesn’t sound good …)
He split the baby.
that white-ass judge bees all raycisssssss an’ sheeeeeeeeit for disparaging that proud black woman
