I’m not knowledgeable enough about all the candidates running for the Senate seat in Michigan, but if the most likely candidates to exit the Republican primary are Justin Amash, Pete Meijer or Mike Rogers, then the ‘hold your nose’ and choose Mike move might make sense. Other than that, Mitch McConnell is likely smiling because Senator Mike Rogers and Senator Adam Schiff will likely be two more arrows in the SSCI ‘Stop Trump’ quiver for 2025.
Former House Intel Chairman Mike Rogers has picked up the endorsement of President Trump; essentially sealing his likelihood to win the Michigan senate primary. Unfortunately, Rogers is very connected to the Deep State intelligence community apparatus. Devin Nunes replaced Rogers after the Michigan representative retired from congress in ’14.
Mike Rogers together with Democrat Rep Dutch Ruppersberger, were infamous for generating the report that defended the CIA and Deep State during the Benghazi aftermath and protecting Hillary Clinton {GO DEEP}. 👀 CTH took apart the report that was created by Rogers and Ruppersberger without the other members of the intelligence committee participating.
Annoyingly, Rogers has a long history of helping to assist and create the national security “surveillance state.” SEE HERE and SEE HERE and SEE HERE. Perhaps he has changed in the decade since he was one of the primary advocates for the Deep State and the creation of the 4th branch of government; however, I doubt it.
I also doubt that President Trump was advised about the nature of Mike Rogers and his ideological outlook toward supporting the National Security state. Rogers has a life-long history of supporting the very institutional actors who targeted President Trump, so it’s a little hard to see him supporting President Trump in the second term.
The 2014 Rogers/Ruppersberger Report was specifically designed, by wording, to provide political cover to both parties – Republicans and Democrats within the Gang of Eight particularly included and protected.
It is professional obfuscation in structure, content and wording. Here’s an example: Page #2
This is an excellent paragraph to show how the entire 37 page document is strategically worded.
…” no evidence […] wrongly forced to sign a nondisclosure agreement“
This wording intimates that none were signed. Not correct. We know nondisclosures were required. This phrasing simply says none were “wrongly forced“. Where the intelligence community/committee determines rightly and wrongly.
…”or polygraphed because of their presence in Benghazi“
Again, this doesn’t say that intelligence officials were not polygraphed, only that the auspices for their polygraphs was not a result of their knowledge in Benghazi. Again where the intelligence community (IC) determines the valid auspices.
…”The committee also found no evidence that the CIA conducted unauthorized activities in Benghazi”…
Parseltongue. The word emphasized is “unauthorized“, meaning all of the activity was known, active, and authorized. As expected, and outlined within The Brief.
…”and no evidence that the IC shipped arms to Syria“.
BIG parseltongue. Note the absence of the word “direct” or “directly“.
Of course we sent arms to Syria, the administration admitted to sending arms to Syria, just not “directly”, which is the keen distinction within the paragraph. This aspect was also critical to include because Hillary Clinton testified to a Rand Paul question about it.
Donald Trump just endorsed the worst Deep State candidate this cycle. @MikeRogersForMI is a never Trumper, and a card carrying member of the spy state that seeks to destroy Trump.
You have to ask yourself who gives Trump this awful advice?
Who’s next, John Bolton? pic.twitter.com/TZXRYLtFv6
— Rand Paul (@RandPaul) March 11, 2024
The entire Rogers/Ruppersberger “Panel Report”, which is not to say the report was done by the entire House Intelligence Committee – because it was not, was similarly worded.
Mike Rogers and Dutch Ruppersberger together, and alone, pulled data from all of the various committee reports and assembled their own “panel report”. This key aspect was lost in the Benghazi conversation, only Rogers and Ruppersberger authored this report.
The reason for that key aspect of authorship missing, within analytical discussion of the content therein, begins the conversation of motive.
With Senate committees in 2014 about to come under Republican leadership, Rogers and Ruppersberger had a motivation to put out a report which could be used by their party allies to avoid scrutiny.
In addition, with Rep Trey Gowdy’s Chairmanship of a Select Committee on Benghazi starting up in January 2015, and with House Intel Chair Rogers exiting from congress, the authors of the report held a motive to proactively undercut Gowdy’s investigation into missing oversight that would normally be part of Rogers/Ruppersberger’s responsibility.
For the Democrats, Hillary Clinton was given a talking point shield she utilized for her future political ambitions; and boy howdy did she use it.
In exchange, for Republicans, House and Senate leadership gained a shield of avoidance from sunlight upon their own complicit knowledge.
In addition, it was reported in 2014 that Mike Rogers had ambitions to launch a talk radio show – this report allowed him to retain credibility and avoid sunlight upon his own complicity as a member of the “Gang of Eight”, and chair of the House Intelligence Committee during the State/CIA Benghazi operation. In short: Mike Rogers hid his willful blindness.
If you read the Rogers/Ruppersberger report, we invite you to look at the factual constructs of The Full Benghazi Brief. Within the brief you will see the fully connected dots which explain the risks, liabilities and willful blindness, trying to be hidden by publication of the Rogers report. CTH predicted exactly that outcome at the end of the brief.
Boy howdy, Mitch knows how to work the system….
If Mike Rogers and Adam Schiff both succeed, you can see the framework of the SSCI taking shape against Trump in 2025 😬 https://t.co/rbCy5SyadY

Did our President just hold his nose? It’s either a strategic move or another misfire. Drain the sewer please, don’t help them breed.
So why is Trump doing it ??? and what can we do ???? How can we appropriately convey our displeasure???
SMH too Rand. Looks like a rinse and repeat of the first term. Where will Rogers impeachment vote be???
The tweet from Rand Paul would be funny except Trump did allow Bolton into his WH and he promptly starting working against the president and leaking like an old Harley-Davidson.
I pray for Trump and his family and admire the heck out of the guy, but he does some bone-headed things sometimes too (or is taking advise from people trying to undermine him).
I will not under any circumstances hold my nose and vote again. 2020 was the last election cycle for me doing that crap. This Rogers guy might as well be Ho-Chi-Minh.
Rand Paul?? Isn’t he the guy that twice endorsed Mitch McConnell for re-election to the Senate? Yeah, that Rand Paul.
Spare me the outrage Rando.
We don’t know.
What are your answers to those questions you pose?
Inquiring kinds want to know.
WHY IS TRUMP DOING THIS ??? TRUMP WROTE IN CAPS “HE KNOWS HOW TO WIN!” SO APPARENTLY THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS THAT THE REPUBLICAN FACE OF THE UNIPARTY WINS. RUDY GIULIANI IS ALSO AGAINST TRUMP’S ENDORSEMENT OF SAPRAICONE TO BE US SENATOR FOR NEW YORK WHO BAD MOUTHED BOTH TRUMP AND GIULIANI AND DONATED TO LETITIA JAMES. THE BOTTOM LINE IS WITHOUT THE US SENATE TRUMP CAN’T GET ANY OF HIS NOMINATIONS APPROVED. IT’S DISGUSTING. Well, Trump did write the art of the deal. Trump needs the House and Senate – especially the Senate. ALSO HE AND THE REPUBLICANS NEED MONEY; apparently the small donations of the base is not enough …. Also Lara Trump is now cochair of the RNC … – I wonder what that cost Trump???
You still didn’t answer my request to answer your own questions which are:
WHY is Trump doing it?
WHAT can We do?
HOW do We appropriately convey our displeasure?
Nice try at deflection from a deflection.
I started to answer the why – also a Democrat House may refuse to certify Trump as POTUS. In a nutshell the why seems to be that Trump believes he must ally himself with the establishment to win all three – POTUS, SENATE, and HOUSE. Consolation prize: If Trump can get a good AG then maybe he can get every member of the House and Senate investigated – all 535 of them!!!
How can PDJT get an honest AG ? (“good” = honest following the Constitution, including applying the criminal law to the crooked Dems and deep state in the same manner that it has been applied to PDJT and J6ers and ‘conservatives’) The Senate has to approve his G appointment. The House and Senate were so crooked that NOT ONE would cll for a quorum when congress was on vacation but falsely claimed to be in session to prevent PDJT from making recess appointments.
NOT ONE of the crooked congresscritters.
Would Mike Rogers even call for a quorum during a congressional vacation, or vote against a phoney impeachment? Even if he did a double pinkie swear to PDJT to get this endorsement?.
Think this one is:
“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
Looked at the possibilities running, and Meijer and Amash are godawful. As the saying goes – gag me with a spoon. The others are unknown to me (don’t live up there, but none of them look even vaguely familiar). Had earlier been thinking that former Detroit Police Cheif James Craig would have been my choice, but he dropped out – no money.
Making the best of betweem a rock and a hard place. Think PDJT’s endorsement/appt. choices have been his weakest point, but here, given the choices at hand, I’d want to see Meijer and Amash keelhauled. Meijer impeachment cheerleader, and Amash ChiCom cheerleader.
This one is an OUCH.
I think he has to make deals to get anything done. He doesnt usually telegraph his deals e.g. the syrian solution which was a series of deals putting responsibility on others.
How did Trump’s “art of the deal” work out 1st term? Dismal failure… But he is the only patriot standing so I am a Trump voter…one with my nose closed! I couldn’t even do that to vote Bush McCain or Romney…so Trump is the American Firster of the 21st Century! Vote for him to overcome the coming fraud…but don’t enlist in the Cult!
We don’t have the answers – that’s why we are asking.
“We?”
Y’all working together?
Justin Amash and Pete Meijer impeached Trump.
“…hold your nose…”
Never again.
Don’t vote for RINO Rogers and make a Democrat happy today!
Deja vu.
I was told the exact same thing about John McCain, and later, Pier Delecto.
It didn’t work then either. Never again means never again.
yep .. I’m not going to do it again. I’ll not cast a vote in that position when these radicals are on the ballot
Question remains…”WHO” is advising Trump to hold his nose?
Definitely a head scratcher to say the least. I too would love to know who’s advising him.
Well, we saw him with his daughter and son-in-law the other night…and I still believe Ivanka & Jared did not work in DJT’s best interest last term.
Probably Senator Daines. I think Trump has agreed to help him win back the Senate.
Lara Trump is advising 45 — 47.
perhaps rand could spend some time talking to trump instead of the press. i’m sure trump would open the door at mar-a-lago.
PDJ might ask Rand why HE didn’t call for a quorum during any of the Senate ‘vacations’ when congress was gone but falsely claimed to be ‘in session”. Rand Paul certainly knew that the false “Senate-in-session” claims were to prevent PDJT from making recess appointments of honest people who would not undermine PDJT’s policies as President, enable/support corruption and theft, or undermine the Constitution. Yet rand was silent then.
Good point
Thank you @ Beau Geste; this is absolutely key, why the ‘self-proclaimed’ pure and moral Sen. Rand Paul did not call for a recess so that VSGPDJT could appoint several key Cabinet leaders who were MAGA at the time. To me all of the members were all part of deep state, though the depth of downtrodden-ness varied. Thank you.
Rand Paul could not dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s. It’s a Catch 22 situation. If the Senate says that it is in session it’s in session whether it is or not.
not true.
and sunlight of calling for a quorum (and PDJT actualky making recess appointments like all previous Presidents) would have been a good disinfectant.
Remember when Paul was assaulted at his home? And a few other incidents… threatening family members is a real tactic by the dc mafia thugs.
Randypoo is always running for president when he is not gunning to become the unattainable GOP leader to replace mconnell. I like Rand Paul but his role has become the obstreperous outspoken one making his points but rarely changing anyone or anything.
You are correct. Rand Paul could have enormously changed PDJT’s Presidency by simply calling for a quorum while congresscritters were lying about being in-session while on vacation away from DC. the congresscritters had only a person to bang a gavel – the rest were GONE AWAY. Upon immediate failure of a quorum, PDJT could have immediately made recess appointments of honest people who would not sabotage his policies, not violate the Constitution by illegal spying, not engage in lawfare persecutions, and would not refuse to prosecute corruption/theft/drugtrade benefactors.
Yeah, right!
And neither are you.
Yep. This^
Just ugh!!! Does DJT put swamp creatures in the light to expose and destroy themselves or is he getting really bad advice and fails to fully research who he endorses? I know he’s only 1 man and he can’t do everything, but endorsements like this could lead to his demise. Make this make sense!!
I agree. What is he thinking. He keeps letting snakes into his house.
There is no way to make this make sense. There seems to be a big gap in Trump’s thinking regarding people he picks and he apparently doesn’t have them vetted by someone else and chooses them by his own feelings about who they are and their bona fides.
How can Rand Paul know who he is? And Sundance knows who he is?
But President Trump doesn’t know who he is?
How do you know Trump doesn’t know who he is?
One must assume he doesn’t know if he endorses him …. the only other explanation is that he’s okay with the deep state loser.
I don’t assume anything.
And no one else has to assume he doesn’t know just because you say so.
And there are other potential reasons than “he’s okay with the deep state loser.”
One of many is he might be setting a trap.
Trump isn’t as stupid as you try to make him out to be.
Perhaps President Trump is the one with the kompromat this time?
He’s got it all.
This could be funny.
🎯
BINGO!
Or is it to EXPOSE them?
I need to see Whoopass not Kissass.
IDK, but oftentimes when Trump puts certain folks in the spotlight, they just sorta kinda wind up in the “Trump quicksand.”
Just sayin.
Let’s see how it pans out.
One thing is for sure: you can bet the IC and Uniparty are thinking “we got him now.”
What’s those things Sun Tzu says about “knowing your enemy” and diversionary tactics?
🤔
We had enough of that logic last time.
And yet he’s still standing after all he’s been through.
You’re quite obvious.
If you’ve given up on him, why are you here?
Exactly! There are some people who are saying Trump is playing 4D chess and these are the people holding onto hopeium. Just keep it real and say Mike Rogers is a bad choice and if Mike wins the senate seat he will probably be one of the guys to cast a vote to impeach Trump or not vote for AG Ken Paxton of Texas to become AG of the the U.S.
We’re you paying attention to the perpetual turnstile vomiting out Trump’s BAD selections…from the very top. COS?
Better than you, guaranteed.
Everyone of them were thrust upon him.
And yet he was able to expose them all for everyone to see by doing that.
Nice try.
Too much Kool Aid will make you fat!
Trump’s hiring of key people stank…still smells. Get the freakin’ Black Knight visor out of your eyes. Before this is over, we are all going to need to do more than cackle and posture…you’re going to have to identify targets?
We identify “targets’ here everyday and if you were here everyday, you would know that.
Who would be your targets? 🦗
Thanks for playing.

“I also doubt that President Trump was advised about the nature of Mike Rogers and his ideological outlook toward supporting the National Security state. Rogers has a life-long history of supporting the very institutional actors who targeted President Trump, so it’s a little hard to see him supporting President Trump in the second term.”…
It seems Nunez would have had some insight to share with President Trump. Wonder why he didn’t?
How do you know he didn’t?
“I also doubt that President Trump was advised about the nature of Mike Rogers …”
Perhaps “Wonder why he wouldn’t?” would have been better phrasing.
Were either of the two not chosen better MAGAs?
Zactly
Sometimes, I just can’t believe what our leader does, such as supporting this piece of crap or still thinking the vaccines worked. WTF??
That is what is so so wrong about the Republican Party. Dem’s stick together no matter what. Rep’s split on American First( MAGA). We the majority suffer! Uniparty is killing us. Just what Old Mitch loves. They don’t care to win. They don’t care about their majority. They just want to keep things status quo and skim money from America. “Can’t let President Trump win!”
He hasn’t learned anything. Terrible advisors again. So sad.
Or… we’ve all been duped again?
How does holding my nose help if I am about to hurl?
LOL…Go hurl first and come back to hold your nose. ROFLMAO.
In 2017, Rogers was interviewed to be the new director of the FBI after Comey was fired. I guess Trump must have rejected him then, so why not now? Practicality ?
Trump is trying to win the Senate because he knows he won’t get anything done if Schumer and gang are in charge. If Rogers poll more than the other candidates, that is probably why he endorsed him.
It is this simple and I don’t understand why some of the intelligencia here doesn’t get. Do you want a 92% voting for a republican issue or a 100% vote for a democrat in that spot. It is fairly easy and some here will never get it.
Even I, sitting here at my kitchen in Tennessee, know that Mike Rogers is horrible. How can this be?
According to Ballotpedia there are 13 candidates in the Republican primary for the Senate seat. It’s odd that Justin Amash is in the mix, since he flounced from the GOP in 2019 and became a Libertarian. I guess grifters gonna grift and he knows that Libertarians are pretty much useless. The only other name I recognize on the list is the swampy Rogers.
Edit: It might just be that PDJT realizes that none of the no-names has a shot, and giving Amash half a chance at the seat is as good as electing a socialist vote to the seat. Maybe PDJT is collecting favors to call in when he NEEDS a vote and he’s willing to tolerate all the other skullduggery.
Thank you for mentioning ballotpedia.
I just checked it out.
I don’t think deep staters accept ‘favors’ being called in.
Maybe those of us who follow things closely are seeing the strings on people we were hoping had none?
The biggest issue with President Trump is he consistently believes people are inherently good. Unfortunately, that is not the case with politicians and who should know that better than Trump. He means well, is a true patriot, and has the intelligence , determination and skills to get things fixed (draining the swamp, etc.), however he seems to lack a clear understanding that this is like Thunderdome (2 men enter, 1 man leaves). It is a fight to the death and you can’t win that fight being naive and trusting people like Rodgers. He should have stepped on all their necks when he had the chance. That’s how you win this existential battle.
Maybe you can apply to be his chief of strategy.
No one knows what Trump is up to.
Absolutely true. But we can wonder, hoping that it is for the best. If it isn’t, what next?
You are relatively new here, but seem eager to share your opinions of others views. It is my opinion that PDJT’s refusal to release the JFK assassination records is problematic with respect to the reliability of his other promises. Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus. Why do you think PDJT refused to release all the JFK assassination records as he promised, and as fully enabled by Congress. Tnere is no possible national security issue remaining after over a half century.
If the CIA, FBI, Russia, Cuba, Vietnam, LBJ, the mob, interplanetary aliens, time-travellers or others were involved then, that has no current basis for secrecy from current US citizens.
This was a very easy campaign promise to keep. Probably the easiest of all campaign promises to keep. It had no financial consequences (unlike tariffs or tax measures, would harm no-one, and was fully within Presidential authority without requiring any Congressional or Judicial review or consent.
Not following through on this promise, without any explanation of why, makes it hard to believe any other current promise.
Well, if the JFK assassination records reveal that the CIA killed the president, then that implicates every head of the CIA since, because they all covered it up and lied for decades.
When the government isn’t transparent, it’s an indication that you don’t live in a free country.
If that’s all you got, I have nothing to worry about then.
And if you’re so down on Trump, then why are you here?
The only logical answer is to dissuade others to trust and support Trump and you made it obvious by over explaining with BS.
Thank you for your admission that you have no idea why PDJT would violate his easy-to-fulfill campaign promise which was importaant to many citizens who voted for him (including me).
But why are you “worried” ?
And thank you for being important enough to question why I have been “here” and contributed long before you.
What part of my question to you is “BS”?
I will simplify the question:
Why didn’t PDJT release all JFK files he promised, without explanation? Can his other promises be trusted?
I didn’t admit crap.
I’m not worried. I’m exposing betrayers and naysayers.
Wow, you’ve been here longer than me. Nah, nah, nah nah. And yet you are attempting to cause uncertainty in Trump supporters.
In the world I walked in many moons ago, we called that a “sleeper.”
Poor attempt. So sorry.
👁
You namecall, and attac k me personally, yet you still have no explanation for a major, unexplained refusal to honor a campaign promise which was very simple to fulfill.
(I voted for PDJT and will again given the choice against biden, michelle, newsom, hillary, harris, kennedy jr, et cetera. )
Once again, the simple question for someone like you with so many opinions:
What is your explanation for refusal to release the promised JFK files?
and
Why, in your opinion, does this not reflect on PDJT’s judgement (which is the purpose of this entire topic from Sundance).
I guess your reading comprehension is poor.
Nothing to worry about if that’s all you got.
And my question remains also: if you’re so down on Trump, then why are you here?
See how that works.
You’re really not very good at this!
Thanks for playing.
👁
bless your heart !
How does it feel to get exposed and can’t come up with anything relevant?
See ya around.
When Judge Nanapolitana asked Trump why he didn’t release them, Trump’s answer was “if you had seen what was in them, you would not have released them either.” According to the judge.
why? From or through a TV reporter? Too horrible after after a half century?
BS
Why don’t you personally ask Trunp if it is that important to you?
Or better yet, just vote for someone else.
We don’t need you!
Reaching across the aisle inside the rino apparatus will get you another 8:00pm election call by Fox.
Rand Paul just needs to shut it. Where was he when President Trump needed just one senator for recess appointments? Not defending Mike Rogers at all but none of the Republican senators have a leg to stand on.
Hear Hear!
I don’t think Rand has even endorsed Trump this time around.
This is one of the biggest problems with Trump. I’m not sure where this stems from but it is a BIG problem just like last time. It really was the one thing that bit him in the butt in his last administration. It seems like nothing has changed. If this continues and someone doesn’t straighten him out (I’m not sure that’s possible with Trump) then this time around will be worse than last. They know his Achilles’ heel. The other thing is his embrace of perversion. At some point, people who don’t embrace that stance will think twice about supporting him. He needs to quit hugging the LGBQ whatever flag.
If President Trump says to vote for Mike Rogers than you crawl over broken glass to vote for Mike Rogers. It’s an interesting discussion about how President Trump arrived at endorsing Mike Rogers but like good soldiers we need to follow our proven leader. We don’t know what President Trump knows even if we like to flatter ourselves into thinking so. Maybe there is one most important thing that Mike Rogers can make happen for President Trump, and us, and it is worth putting up with whatever bad Rogers brings with him to get that most important thing?
“We don’t know what President Trump knows even if we like to flatter ourselves into thinking so.”
Welcome to Lake Wobegon, where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.
Garrison Keillor
I don’t blindly follow anyone pal. Smarten up
I suggest following a proven leader. You added “blindly”. Pay attention !
There are no other horses left to ride us out of this disaster.
He’s not a perfect horse. And he has his faults. Don’t we all.
But he’ll give all he’s got to get us back to the ranch, and out of danger.
That’s good enough for me.
This is getting depressing.
If every other endorsement he makes and ever other adviser he keeps is a no god SOB how will we ever get any place good?
Justin Amash and Pete Meijer are non-starters. Meijer impeached Trump. Amash would have or did. Don’t remember. This is about Trump winning Michigan and getting the well-funded candidate to do it. He probably figures he can handle McConnell and Rogers after he gets elected. Also, Trump will be firing a lot of Deep State actors, which won’t make this an issue.
Who has the presidents ear?? This is exactly what happened in his first administration, bad advice from people who are not MAGA, led to disasterous outcomes. I wish the people he listens to were not in bed with the uniparty.t
There’s the possibility that Trump is not who we think he is, that he is aligned with globalists more than we would wish, that the MAGA movement found him, and he became its leader by happenstance.
He might not really want the same things his base wants, such as to live in a non-surveillance state, a free country without government goons reading your email and monitoring every person’s text messages through super computers.
It is likely very difficult, if not impossible, for a billionaire to understand the struggles and concerns of a poor person, which almost everyone in the world is, compared to him.
I recall his recent support for Bud Light, and his daughter (Ivanka’s) recent attendance at a 150 million dollar wedding party in India for the fat son of a 100-billionaire Indian magnate.
Who pays 150 million dollars for a one day party?
That’s the kind of people whom Mr. Trump knows and associates with.
And yet, it seems that he wouldn’t want another deep state actor in Congress, for they have targeted him and his family through lawfare and criminal charges.
It seems to me that President Trump ought to be very careful about whom he chooses to support — but it doesn’t seem that he is.
Maybe he thinks, “This candidate will win anyway, so might as well support him, in the hope that he will support me?”
If Trump is a globalist, then why would he be running again?
And why would “they” be trying to destroy him for 8 years?
Promoting doubt towards MAGA?
Not very good at it!!!!!!!

Well with all due respect, I guess you are entitled to your “maybe Trump’s this or that” thoughts, but for me, I’ll have to put my hip boots on to wade though that one.
I will say it again – I don’t get this. Why in the world is Trump endorsing deep state losers? We want him in office so that he can CHANGE what’s going on in our government, not rubber stamp it so we just get more of what we already have. It’s infuriating.
I believe this is a President Trump head fake. He knows that Slotkin is very likely to win the Senate seat.
The President’s endorsement of Rogers merely makes McTurtle think that the President is falling in line. Very unlikely that an R wins a Senate seat in MI, last time was 30 years ago. MI sends D’s to the US Senate.
Maybe.
I’m also asking who’s advising President Trump? Pushing Tim Scott at the rallies and now revisiting the decision on the clot shot. It seems there’s plenty of bad advice and it’s past time to consult with Sundance
This is no doubt an outcome of what was negotiated, ( for 6 weeks ), in order to get McMitch’s endorsement.
Caca!!!
Pres. Trump needs to be very, very careful. Saboteurs are everywhere.
We don’t know which way 3-dimensional chess will play out. Is this a sacrificed bishop for a better outcome?
Long view, it is about picking someone who will beat the Democrat. A pure endorsement of the eventual loser chalks one up for the dems, and control of the Senate is paramount. Pick a winner or go home. If Schumer is in control, try to get a judge through.
To much pearl clutching here. They will not let Trump have a second term. I said that first in early 2017. If he did have a second term his record in appointments would be like the first. But now you don’t have to worry or think about this.
You worry.
MAGA is moving for all the marbles!
I believe Rodgers wife also worked for The Deep State too or maybe the MIC. ?
This is not a hold your nose situation. This is a don’t vote situation. Don’t reward the swamp snake by holding your nose and voting for the swamp snake. As far as I’m concerned, Republican swamp creatures are worse than democrats. Trump may be compromised. Why else endorse this level of swampness. I refuse to vote for Republican candidates that I suspect are RINOs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not voting for the dem either. I have been a life long Republican ticket voter but I woke up in 2017 when we had the senate, house and executive offices and the Republicans let us down. I’ve been following Sundance since then and he’s taught me a lot about DC politics. I’m a little disappointed in him to telling us to hold our noses. We need to reject these swamp creatures even if it means losing a seat. But you do you.
When you don’t vote for the Republican you are voting for the Democrat. President Trump has asked us to “Vote Republican” and he didn’t qualify that statement. You are diametrically opposed to what President Trump wants us to do.
Sure enough, you do you. I’ll do what President Trump asks.
the good news here is all of this hub-bub is much to do about nothing.
The state of MI will never elect another republican to a state-wide office, RINO traitor or otherwise. Whoever the democrat candidate is will be installed. Did you happen to watch what happened in Detroit in Nov 2020? Has anything changed for the better up there?
Maybe they will cheat to get him in and get caught. – however they were caught time.
I will not turn against PDJT. This thread will bring out the dim lurkers.(already read a few) I don’t profess to read his mind. He has MY vote for President.😏
Well, I’m going to vote for him, but it is so discouraging.
Have faith.
We could go with someone even better than Donald Trump.
But unfortunately George Washington is not available.
This is sickening , here we go again !
Why in the WORLD?? If I know how bad Mike Rogers is, why doesn’t Trump? This is the kind of move that doomed him before. I hate to see the same mistakes. I’m 100% Trump but dang!!
What good will it do to reelect Trump if he fills the Senate and House with DEEP STATERS?
What good will it do to reelect Trump if the Dims control the Senate and House? (and how long would he survive in such a case?)
There are no easy answers or paths forward at this point.
Note PDJT said “he knows how to win” when endorsing Rogers. He may thus decide to back whomever he sees as the one most likely able to win the general election, in spite of concerns about their past actions, in order to gain control of the Senate and retain control of the House.
He might also be severely misinformed.
He might also be wrong regarding the potential of someone else being able to win the general election.
He must do that which he perceives is the best possible path forward. We must do that which we decide is the best path forward, regardless of the recommendations of PDJT. For me that means making my OWN choice in the primaries and voting for whomever is the GOP candidate in the general.
“I also doubt that President Trump was advised about the nature of Mike Rogers and his ideological outlook toward supporting the National Security state. Rogers has a life-long history of supporting the very institutional actors who targeted President Trump, so it’s a little hard to see him supporting President Trump in the second term.”
At some point we have to start asking the uncomfortable questions and facing reality. Can we forever go on thinking that President Trump is given, and takes, poor advice…….. or that he is terminally naïve about sources of all the attacks on him. I am getting tired of seeing these glowing announcements about how great someone is and then seeing them bomb and seemingly “betray” Trump. I spent the entire first term making excuses for the swamps control of the scenario and Trumps inability to trump them. I cannot have another term of the same thing. Did he make a deal with the swamp, is he naive and ignorant about who is who still?
4 words to support your thesis:
Bill Barr
Chris Wray
IMHO, the appointments that doomed his Presidency, protected deep state malfeasance/spying, avoided effective vote fraud prevention/investigation, and harbored lawfare.
He’ll have to win without my vote.
This endorsement really frosts me.
The problem is that Trump wants to “drain the swamp” but he has no clue how to do that. Smart man but he’s terminally naive. I expect his 2nd term will go as well as his first.
He’s done more than anyone ever has.
If you have a better plan, we are all ears.
And if Trump is so naive, how has been able to have beaten off all attacks from a whole of government effort for so long?
Who else could have survived that?
BK you are tough!! I’ve never seen so many new tag team Doom and Gloomers on one thread. I admire you for your forceful smack down comments for each of their attacks. Let Trump be Trump! He knows what he is doing.
TY. I try.
I need some help but all the others are on the next post.
That dang Sundance faked them out drawing them out here with this post so the real deal about the IC on the next post wouldn’t get blasted, or so I think.
Smooth operator but it left me out here on an island almost alone.
Keep voting harder America.
Eventually you’ll win something!!!!
Retired Magistrate here: Remember, only GOD can save the United States. Can HE use President Trump to do so; of course. But ultimately, it is up to GOD and HE will get all the glory.
I admire and respect President Trump a lot; however, I have to remind myself not to make President Trump into an idol. President Trump is only human and has his flaws just like the rest of us.
If we put our creator first, he will listen to our prayers…
What is the Cure for Stolen Elections, Political Persecution and Rampant Immorality in America and Michigan?
Watch the incredible movie Let My People Go on RUMBLE 👉 https://rumble.com/v4h3s20-free-worldwide-release-let-my-people-go-by-dr.-david-clements.html
The cure is repentance and obedience to God – PERSONAL, LOCAL and NATIONAL. By fulfilling our duty to self-govern, we restore and preserve the blessing of Michigan and America for our children.
It was him or the 2 guys who voted to impeach him. The GOP is in a sad state where good candidates are few and far between. The other thing we need to realize is a hardcore MAGA Republican in NY is not necessarily a winning Republican in ny
I get tired of the “4D chess” and “keep your friends close, and your enemies closer” rationalizations.
Which is pretty much what I said 14 months ago when DJT endorsed Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker.
there is this theory…it was a very very dark theory. I wrote it in 2018.
the reason for the theory is because many things that we see from the outside, just do not add up.
and that’s a problem…no..it’s more like an impossible puzzle, wrapped in an enigma, shrouded opaque.
hence, gives rise to very awful and terrible theories…
this is human nature.
I learned something about this experience. some call it “the abyss looks back”.
I also learned something else. trust your instincts and guts.
I also learned something else. When Sundance focuses sunlight on a subject, he does so with care and challenge. The care to treat the subject with heavy doses of truth..evidence, but also as a challenge…to realize that knowing something is not enough…that it requires action to effect change.
the bottom line for me. this is not good. I will be contacting President Trump and his team and describing my concern and detailing all of the evidence that show this a dangerous decision.
This is how you deal with a challenge. you speak out and get your voice heard. writing on the comments board IS HELPFUL…it helps to realize that YOU…yes, YOU
are the white horses coming to save us. YOU
God Bless America
Great post and advice!
