Now I read that Mitchigan’s RNC gets 39 superdelegates vs 16 for the voters. This could make voting obsolete.

As I understand they do this for a technical reason. The state moved up the primary, so the RNC votes separately to make sure their delegates are accepted at the convention.
You’re mistaken. The Republican National Convention has no “superdelegates”. State parties have “automatic delegates” by virtue of office (in my state the state Chair, National Committeeman, and National Committeewoman) but they are bound on the first ballot by the state caucus vote. In the case of MI, 39 delegates are elected between 13 District Conventions (3 per district). There are some what might be called “superdelegates” to district convention, but I don’t think enough to change the delegate allocation to candidates. I don’t know about “the voters” but district convention delegates are those who care enough about the party to actually work for the party.
MI will also hold state convention Sat to elect their National Committeeman and woman who will represent MI on the RNC term beginning the day after the National Convention in Milwaukee.
The media won’t mention that Trump received 138,000+ more votes than Biden and that Republicans came out in droves with 350,000 more overall votes.
Dem’s had no reason to come out.
