Yes, I live just a few miles from Oklahoma and felt that quake here at my house, woke me up here in SW Missouri. Shook my sliding closet “barn doors” quite noticeably. I’ve also experienced a pretty strong earthquake in SoCal back in the early 90’s. I think it was a 5.3 and the epicenter was about 40 miles SE of where I was in Orange County. Caused the swimming pool in the apartment complex I was staying at to slosh half the water out.

In defense of the interview, Carlson accused Biden of lacking an understanding of history and international relations, asserting that American policymakers mistakenly believe Putin aims to expand his borders.
According to Carlson, Putin clarified during the interview that his intention to invade Ukraine was triggered by the open invitation from US Vice President Kamala Harris to Ukraine to join NATO, a privilege denied to Putin years earlier.

I have a Russian friend who tells me that the streets are literally swept manually daily. Before a big predicted snow arrives, the plows are already in place. I saw a video on line of a wide boulevard that I mistook for Paris only to later to find out it was Moscow.

I have been to Moscow on business about four years ago. Also been to St Petersburg and Rostov, including a two day venture through the region outside of the city, five years ago.
In all cases, I was with a Russian speaking colleague who knew his way around and made all the bookings.
The cities and rural nearby region that I saw were all equal to or (in most cases) better than what I see here in America. I didn’t see ANY crime or evidence of crime. Didn’t once feel at risk. The streets and buildings were clean, businesses seem to be efficient, restaurants stellar, and overall experience was very nice. The people were very pleasant to me.
I was recommending anyone to take a tour of Russia – before the war. I was positively impressed, from what I witnessed.

The way the article was worded, the police seemed to lack certainty about the perp’s gender. It said something like “apparent female.” Granted, she had said she had a bomb, so the police might not have approached her body very quickly. Without the bomb threat piece of the story, I assumed with little doubt that this person was a tranny.

Although the talking points that give all credit to Trump for the slowdown of illegal entries in 2020, that does not make sense. What does make sense it that the COVID lockdowns in Mexico during most of 2020 made it difficult to travel in or through that country. Since the US was in lockdown to some extent, there was little reason to come up here to look for work.
I am not suggesting that the Trump policies were not important and worth implementing. The point of my comment about 2020 is that COVID is what moved the needle the most. IMHO.

Israeli forces rescued two hostages being kept by Hamas in Rafah under the cover of night and a heavy barrage of airstrikes.
The IDF revealed that Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Norberto Louis Har, 70, were brought safely home after more than four months in the terror group’s captivity.
The pair were rescued from Rafah where they were reportedly being kept in an apartment guarded by Hamas gunmen.
Israeli troops broke into the flat just before 2am local time on Monday February 12 2024 as airstrikes pummelled the surrounding areas.
IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari claimed that the rescue team shielded Marman and Har with their own bodies during the intense fighting.
The men, who were held for 128 days, were then taken to shelter where they were checked by doctors and airlifted to a hospital in Israel.

In the past, U.S. Postal Service money orders were treated like cash when deposited to a bank account. In the past week, two money orders I mailed to two different banks were given credit but funds are not available. It’s like, “Yeah we got it but YOU can’t have access to it.”
I paid real U.S. currency for these money orders. Real greenbacks !
Obviously, there is so much internal theft of USPS money orders INSIDE THE POST OFFICE, or counterfeiting of them, their legitimacy is no longer recognized.
At the same time, good luck trying to get a post office near you to actually CASH a money order. They frequently have such tiny amounts of cash on hand, POSTAL SERVICE MONEY ORDERS ARE NOW WORTHLESS, EVEN AT THE POST OFFICE.
It cannot be a coincidence that millions of border-jumping criminals inside the USA, coupled with the massive acceptance of fraud and stealing without consequence, are destroying confidence in financial transactions.
