This is the prime reason why I keep telling rank and file conservatives to stop praising this guy. he will say one thing out of the ordinary and he gets plaudits, but then he goes off like this pretending to not know what’s going on. What do you call someone like this? His job is to be a gatekeeper for liberals to make sure that they don’t even considering moving over to Trump.

According to this text, Mayorkas gets to decide if he wants to remove any of the illegals and nobody can interfere with his decision.
Whenever the border emergency authority is activated, the Secretary shall have the authority, in the Secretary’s sole and unreviewable discretion, to summarily remove from and prohibit, in whole or in part, entry into the United States of any alien identified in subsection 12 (a)(3) (…..)
He will be mandated to activate the emergency authority, but not mandated to remove illegals. Love how that works.

In September 2014, former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell–a likely Republican presidential or vice presidential contender in 2016–was convicted of supposed corrupt acts during his governorship.

In June 2016, the Supreme Court unanimously reversed that conviction.
Those who want the federal courts to expedite Trump’s case argue that voters (somehow) have a right to know the trial result before the election.
Just imagine if McDonnell had been a candidate for, say, the U.S. Senate from Virginia in 2014.
Voters would have known about the conviction prior to going to the polls.
Voters could not possibly have known about the Supreme Court reversal.
In other words, voters would have known only part of the legal picture.

The DC Circuit is not following the normal rules, procedures, and timelines in Trump’s case.
Appellants normally get 30 days to seek rehearing en banc–review by the full appellate court.
Until the en banc court resolves the rehearing petition, the mandate (3-judge panel order) is normally stayed.
Why is the DC Circuit short-circuiting Trump’s normal procedural rights?
