Earlier this morning I watched the Stuart Varney show on Fox Business. There’s always a trivia question at the end of the show, 4 different answers, multiple choice. Today’s question was what percentage of adults have had at least 1 cavity. The choice was 50%, 60%, 70% or 90%. Turned out the correct answer was 90% and Stuart went on to say that 53% of children have had at least 1 cavity in baby teeth.

I don’t think the percentage of people who have had a cavity is a good measure of the effectiveness of fluoride. That stuff is supposed to (I’m not saying it necessarily does) reduce the number and severity of cavities. A better measure would probably be the percentage of people who still have all of their teeth. 🙂 Compare now to pre-fluoride days.
Missus wundrin has an allergy to fluoride which makes her itch. When we moved to my hometown, we found out that the city was fluoridating the water.

And maybe I just didn’t read carefully enough but it doesn’t specify how long Mayorkas can dawdle before activating the emergency authority, or how long it will take for the emergency authority to close the border, if that’s indeed what they are supposed to do.

Check this out. The “Emergency Authority” is an unchecked Mayorkas. It’s up to him to decide if he wants to remove the illegals and nobody can interfere with his decision.
Whenever the border emergency authority is activated, the Secretary shall have the authority, in the Secretary’s sole and unreviewable discretion, to summarily remove from and prohibit, in whole or in part, entry into the United States of any alien identified in subsection 12 (a)(3) (…..)
So he’s required to activate the emergency authority but then he gets to pick and choose who he wants to remove, IF he wants to remove them. And I have yet to see that this “emergency authority” includes closing the border.
It’s a good thing this travesty isn’t going to become law.
And once again (you will get sick of me saying this but I don’t care): If the Democrats had the House majority this bill would pass and Biden would sign it into law. And then President Trump would be forced to deal with the mess. It’s because we have a GOP majority in the House that we and President Trump will be spared.
Have to keep and increase that majority and take the Senate too. A must and that is where our focus needs to be along with reelecting P Trump.
