IDK if it was any one thing that altered Tucker’s perspectives. From what I have heard him say, plus from what I have read online about his life & working career history, it appears that his opinions and worldview evolved significantly from his childhood up to the present.
That should not be a surprise to anyone who’s lived at least as long and has undergone life changes anywhere similar. Tucker did not have a “normal” childhood and his professional career has undergone significant changes.
The one constant that he seems to have noted s that he abhors being told what to do by others who assume some authority over him at work. In his line of work that meant being told what to report on, how to report it, and what to say or not to say.
That pretty much tells me that Tucker is not some Deep State flunky who is being coerced, controlled, or knowingly manipulated to keep their secrets while telling us their false narratives. THAT is precisely why I trust him to be s forthright and as matter-of-fact as possible when he presents his monologues and conducts his interviews. I don’t think he could knowingly speak falsehoods at his audiences and sleep at night.
I don’t feel that way about most high profile personalities either in politics or in alternative media because I don’t know their backgrounds very well. I can only go by their history of reporting / commentary versus what has turned out to be true versus false. I know all MSM personalities lie with impunity because they’ve been doing it every day for so long it has been normal for them.
I’ve read the negative slander about Tucker including what he has purportedly said or written about Trump, and that information has all come from sources that have long proven to be antithetical to Tucker’s and Pres. Trump’s success. So I do not assign much credibility or weight to those stories even if they are partially true. We have all had our minds changed about someone over the years after learning more about that person.
