Given the recent discussions about a potential Vice President pick by Donald Trump, several people have asked for my perspective.
Because I look at the office of the presidency slightly different than most, and specifically because the real challenge that needs to be addressed is located deep inside each institution of government, my perspective on the running mate is somewhat different than most.
The Vice President is the safety mechanism for continuity of government in the event that something happens to the President.
Additionally, for the unique nature of the 2024 election, the VP pick technically becomes the 2028 MAGA candidate by default and general intention. Therefore, the selection of Trump’s running mate holds a greater weight of importance given the single term objective.
The primary factor of President Trump’s pick for VP should be, who will be the 2028 nominee.
Prior to President Trump’s first term in office, traditionally the role of the Vice-President, the actual tasks they are assigned to carry out, were generally ceremonial in nature. However, President Trump approached the VP role differently, and gave substantive policy initiatives to Vice President Mike Pence. [Pence proved he was not a good executive]
It should also be remembered that another unique aspect to President Trump’s term was his control over every of aspect of economic policy and trade. This level of economic focus, with controls completely retained by President Trump, was then used as a mechanism to influence President Trump’s foreign policy.
As stated by several Trump economic officials when describing the Trump doctrine, “economic security is national security.” The America-First outlook was a domestic economic focus, used as a lever to influence foreign policy activity.
As a consequence, the President Trump economic team was extremely stable throughout his term. USTR Robert Lighthizer, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, CEA Chairman Larry Kudlow and Trade/Manufacturing Advisor Peter Navarro all worked in close coordination on their specific assignments that were instructions from President Trump.
The globe was broken into two general regions, west (Pacific) and east (Atlantic). Lighthizer was assigned eyes and trade policy toward Asia, while Ross assigned trade policy toward Europe. The total team were in close communication at all times and Donald Trump made every important decision for the econ/trade team. The team carried out Trump’s agenda; it was a very effective approach.
The reason I mention this economic and foreign policy aspect is because there’s little doubt this would again be the focus of President Trump in a second term. Trump is likely going to be the driving force of economic policy and foreign policy, in granular detail again. The VP needs to learn how Trump does it so effectively, so that MAGA continues into 2028.
Meanwhile, all of the other agencies need serious wolverines at the helm, fearlessly chewing down the mechanisms of, (a) the intelligence apparatus; and (b) the controlled bureaucratic and administrative state.
No executive can micromanage the details of this scale, the office of the president can only support their efforts and provide tools and resources for the dismantling.
Knowing this, and fully understanding the skills, strengths and weaknesses of each potential VP selection, I look at the Big Picture through the prism of who do I want at the helm, that has enough loyalty to ensure the deconstruction takes place and/or continues and holds the integrity/fortitude to provide me some measure of assurance. I guess this is the proverbial trust factor, only this time it’s even more important.
Right now, only one person hits that level of integrity for me, Dr. Ben Carson.
I trust Dr Ben Carson to understand the MAGA vision; to understand how the MAGA vision becomes manifest through policy; and, more importantly, to stay true to the MAGA vision if called upon to execute.
Perhaps there is someone else with the loyalty trait, the principal trait, the integrity trait, and the practical trait to continue after 4 years; however, if there is such a person, they don’t jump readily to mind.
The other cabinet members would all have big jobs, and none of them can come from the traditional system within DC. They need to be wolverines baring teeth and ready to start the “retribution phase” on day one.
Secretary of State: Ric Grenell
Defense Secretary: Vivek Ramaswamy
Treasury Secretary: Ron Paul
USTR: Robert Lighthizer or Peter Navarro
Commerce Secretary: Peter Navarro or Robert Lighthizer
EPA Administrator: Sarah Palin
FCC Commissioner: Mike Benz
CIA Director: Robert Kennedy Jr
FBI Director: Matt Gaetz
DOJ Attorney General: Ken Paxton
Office of the Director of National Intelligence: Rand Paul
NSA Director: Thomas Massie
Interior Secretary: Marjorie Taylor Greene
Something like that….
The VP needs to be independently wealthy and youngish and understands the global trade markets and our economic heft we wield. He also needs to be a wolverine.
Don Jr or Vivek will do nicely. Jr can take up residence in any state, so keep that argument out of this.
Mnuchin needs to come back at treasury or commerce.
Flynn at CIA or FBI.
Laura Loomer as press sec.
Navarro repeatedly excoriates Mnuchin in his book and I would trust Navarro FAR more than Mnuchin.
Question: how many of those on Sundance list will be confirmed by the Senate ?
It’s easy to throw out names like that, but you have to take this into account.
My first point is that this list is a significant upgrade over what we have now. Further, we need to be thinking of this now assuming divine providence enables We the People to show we aren’t too far lost.
These various executive positions are also going to need patriots supporting them; one and even more levels down. DC is full of anti-human, self-hating, Marxist garbage, trust me I know. Even if the ones we can’t fire outright, based on equally bad civil servant rules, were just sent home with pay, our nation and mankind would be better for it. The damage they do ‘working’ as Satan’s useful idiots is far more than their pay.
https://www.project2025.org/
Second point, PDJT can only really pick his running mate. The Senate swamp will have its say on all the other positions. But I liked the comment that said that just ‘one’ Senator (perhaps Kari Lake, my pick for VP) could use the Senate rules for PDJT to appoint ‘temporary’ executive cabinet members.
Third point, the VP for PDJT needs to be someone the swamp fears/hates even more than PDJT, if that is possible.
You can tell who the uniparty fear/hate more by how much unconstitutional lawfare they are being subjected to.
Dr. Ben Carson would be the type of principled person to heal the nation after what will hopefully be a soft non-violent civil war before us. An amazing person who heals and sets our nation’s path back towards a God-fearing Constitutional Republic with ‘limited’ government vs the anti-human, anti-god, fascist global tyrannical failing empire it has become.
But we are likely over a decade away from that though
Footnote; Sidney Powell for AG and General Mike Flynn (DNI, or DOD) need to be on this short list.
For All those Reasons and a Few More, I personally am 1,000 % AGAINST having a Female VEEP for Donald Trump..
For One Thing, Melania Is Far More than Woman Enough for That White House.
The Other, just as strong is, that Kari Lake seems to be about the only one who cares about the People, and because She DOES That, Her Place of Anointing is Clearly as Arizona Governor – and NO, not even their SENATOR..SHE is the Woman, The PERSON. THE HUMAN BING who is best suited to help Arizona get that House in Order, and it is Very VITAL to our Nation.
I say THAT as a TEXAN. NO ONE ELSE has the Vision, apparently, to do for ARIZONA what Kari could do as Governor, there.
And that is more important than anything she could do at the White House, even though she would be fine, there as far as the job she could do.
But I think The Problem there is she would be too Target Rich, for that Position.
I think we require a Sober Man who is NOT interested in, nor seeking Limelight, but could fairly quietly do some important groundwork, and content to be OUT of the Limelight so he could do that work more effectively, and efficiently.
Possibly faded nicely in the shadows. Cleverly. Someone with stately bearing and a Wise head, a Knowing eye, would be Awesome. And a staff for him to match. A kind of William Powell character. NOT trying to go Hollywood, please believe me. Just looking for a really good man who is rather deeply underestimated, But, not a man to be dismissed, just a man to NOT be Suspected of paying that much attention to “things”, a man who isn’t “obvious”… and could get in some very discreet observances… whose expressions don’t show what he notices or doesn’t.
If Kari Lake does get a spot in Trump’s administration, I hope it’s as Press Secretary. She knows how to keep the Fake News in line, she tells it like it is and doesn’t lie. I am so tired of all the lying from KJP, John Kirby, Jan Sucky, et al.
Respectfully, Press Secretary would be far too significant of a demotion or downgrade.
As for KL for Governor of Az. that was obviously NEVER going to happen.
She ran a campaign guaranteed to invoke them to steal it, no matter how blatant they had to be.
She telegraphed exactly what she was going to do, which would have included issueing a declaration of Invasion, and using the additional powers that action bestows on a Gov. (per the Constitution) to force Mexico to bring back their army, or pay 25% tariff.
She would have shut down the border within a month, and destroyed the narrative of Ron, as “Americas Gov.” and of Florida under Ron as a “Red State” by showing what a true MAGA Gov is like.
Hence, they HAD to blatantly steal, and SHE (and NOT the RNC) were ready FOR the steal they KNEW was coming, and so gathered enough evidence, in the short window allowed, to get past the standing.
In short, Karis Campaign for Gov. served its purpose, and the same R State party will NOT allow her to win as Senator, and by the time her election challenge case reaches the Supreme Court, we will have had another election.
She won’t be Governor, although the legal challenge is still worth pursueing, and she is.
She will NOT be Senator, no way Mitch will allow it.
Her only path forward is as VP, and I say this as her biggest fan, and an Arizonan.
Well said but I still hope she gets another chance as governor of AZ
Laura Loomer for Press Secretary. Make the liberal media deal with her wolverine style.
Kari Lake is running for the Senate. She would make a great Senate Majority Whip. Then after a term under her belt she can take over as Majority Leader.
That would be an insulting waste of her abilities.
Speak for yourself. You know where you belong and that’s good. I kept my daughters away from people like you.
Whomever TRUMP picks other than Ben Carson it will be a traitor and undermine him when he needs support. Remember TRUMP does what JARVANKA wants and listens to him . Look at his picks in 2016 all Approved by Jarvanka. Now look at the results? He is the worse at picking people and not much changes if elected again.
Absolutely Kari Lake needs to be governor
Ben Carson
Not one mention of DeSwampass for any position.
Looks like we can all agree on that.
what about Elsie Stefanek ..She is more in depth informed and lawyerly than the beloved Sarah ..Save Palin for more
people skills ? Or Elsie chief of staff ? Kennedy is a media savey , charismatic guy ..but check his record of green cultism ..Tooo flamboyant to be a team player .. James Woods for something?
RFK, Jr. voted for Hillary. I’m not sure I could trust him.
I agree.
He has a vendetta against the CIA, very likely for a rock solid reason.
However, his political positions are blatantly incongruous with those of PDJT, and he is a Democrat who bleeds blue ideologically.
RFK might get his pound of flesh from the CIA, but I see no reason to believe that he would either willingly or effectively change the culture of the CIA with respect to PDJT.
Elsie has not/may not be fully MAGA.
She is not.
She is my representative and many people in my area, including me, do not like her.
She devotes most of her efforts to the area she is from.
She votes with the Dems to often for most of us.
She doesn’t respond to emails from her constituents even though she states at the end of her weekly newsletter to email her with any questions.
She doesn’t have anyone else respond either.
I’m not sure she would be totally loyal to President Trump, even though, she appears to be MAGA.
absolutely no to Stefanek….she cannot be trusted
I full heartedly agree!
Put him in the chair of a dunk tank, filled with raw sewage.
RDS should be the next President of Harvard. He can clean up the mess that place has made of itself.
“Something like that…”
Well you certainly got a lot of us treepers involved in lively thought and discussion!
It was a most intriguing list.
I don’t trust Ben Carson as far as I can through him. I have some stuff buried on him from 20 yrs ago or something like that, don’t specifically remember it, but NO NO NO NO NO. And I know Trump likes him a LOT.
Well do tell
Sorry Scarlet – that does not do. So bad that you just can’t remember it?
The worst.
I don’t trust people who spell throw “through” as far as I can throw them, especially when they impugn someone’s reputation and then can’t remember why they are doing so in the first place.
That’s about as disingenuous as it comes. You have some “stuff buried on him” that makes him untrustworthy. It is so bad and makes him so untrustworthy that you can’t remember what it is? It is so bad and makes him so untrustworthy you can’t remember it, but you will publicly impugn his character anyway?
You do realize what you just did to your own credibility, right?
Ben Carson may make a good VP but to succeed Trump as President? I don’t think so. We need a fighter. Matt Gaetz? Keep dreaming.
That’s a mighty nice dream team Sundance.
Colonel Macgregor for Secretary of Defense for sure.
If anybody can stand up to the Israelis, the Taiwanese, the Ukrainians, and ESPECIALLY the Saudis, it’s him.
China, Iran, and Russia are not the enemies the Deep State says they are.
sec def can’t be former uniformed?? Isn’t that true ?
If such a law exists, I hope Trump gets Congress to repeal it, or challenges its constitutionality.
I think so. Military has to answer to civilian authority in the US and its a good law.
Most Sec Defs have been former military.
Maybe you mean flag officers, who never “retire”? They had to give Mattis some kind of dispensation to be Sec Def.
Sec Def can be former uniformed but is supposed to be out of uniform for a while. That means at least 3 years. Austin hit that just barely. Mattis did not and needed special dispensation.
Doug Macgregor retired from the Army in 2004. But I don’t trust him. He is too much of a blowhard. Too Mattis-like. And he had some truly stupid ideas back in the late-90s about eliminating all the heavy firepower and making everything “light and mobile” just like cavalry formations where he had his Gulf War moment of stardom.
Mac is a true patriot and a historian so he gets what needs to be done defensively both internationally and nationally. I have great respect for him
You have it backasswards. Just like Macgregor.
Or, maybe you’re just feeding yourself Deep State propaganda.
My first thought is it should be nobody who would be an acceptable replacement to the DS. There should be a palpable negative consequence should the president be the target of an accident. Perhaps Dr. Carson fits that role.
I’m not sure if the bottom of the lineup is as much tongue-in cheek as it is serious. Several of those choices seem more like a sharp stick eye poke to the agencies assigned, but I would not be opposed to that being the primary criteria, especially for the FBI and Interior.
The sharp stick eye poke is exactly what is needed to clean up the agencies top to bottom. The person needs to already have a depth of knowledge of the problems within the agency to which they are assigned and the stamina to buck the angst that the media will throw at them relentlessly.
Just say “no” to Pompeo. He had his chance with 2 agencies & did not poke anyone in the eye. He didn’t even bother to weed out Soros employees in either agency.
Love it. But we need Sundance in the mix somewhere, as in, number one advisor to Trump, whatever “position” that would be called.
I could see Sundance on the economic team somewhere. He could fill the role of that “happy warrior” person – don’t remember his name; instead of a wolverine, Sundance used Syd the sloth from the Ice Age movies as his avatar.
Are you thinking of Kudlow?
No. Much younger guy.
He would come out and explain the economic numbers. Same way Sundace writes up his post when those numbers come out.
As in Chief of Staff? Sounds good to me!
“Kitchen Cabinet”
Martin Armstrong is also a patriot and good advisor. The President needs several.
I believe and hope Martin will be an advisor to Trump and I suspect he already has been. Many, many have used him as an advisor in US administrations and most have ignored his advice.
When recently asked to throw hos hat into the presidency race, Armstrong replied:
”I greatly appreciate your comments. Many people have been asking me why I do not throw my hat in the ring for 2024. I like my hat. I would be glad to step up and help whoever makes the cut as long as they are independent, not cut from the same cloth, and are sincere. This is NOT something I would do for money.”
Sure sounded like he was describing our fav presidential candidate! No one else fits that description.

I see Sundance as a Special Council in investigating the past years for the purpose of bringing sunlight and put his skills and talents to use. He’s the one to present the “list” to DJT of whom needs prosecution…
My question, when will President Trump announce, HIS running mate ?
IMHO, asap after recieving the nomination, and without any consultation with the RNC.
And it must be someone he KNOWS the RNC would NEVER approve, if he had asked them.
They may not like Carson, but I suspect they would “accept” him.
Thanks for the response, Dutchman.
Seems likely, that will happen. RNC is McUseless to MAGA and Pres Trump. They don’t much like Carson or Trump, for that mattter.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I like Dr. Carson but don’t see him as VP – not the right temperament as many here have pointed out.
I would like to see Dr. Carson as head of the VA. Give him carte blanche to fix it.
yes !! Dr Ben is too sensitive. A gentle soul .
I love Dr Carson as head of VA, but I think he is more needed as VP. As VP, he can stay out of the limelight fixing stuff as Trump designated and there is a ton of stuff that needs fixing. Carson can take the arrows, he’s not wimpy.
Dr. Carson has been securing the Evangelical vote for Trump in Iowa. Trust is the biggest factor Carson brings to the Trump Administration.
Trump/Carson 2024
How about Surgeon General.
No real administrative power there.
Or for Sec. Def.: Staff Sgt. David Bellavia, MoH, Silver Star. Fallujah. Age 48.
Maybe Sen. Tom Cotton.
Withstood virulent liberal classmates at Harvard Law School.
Airborne leader rather than going into JAG wussy desk job.
Need someone who won’t get suckered into wasteful procurements of weapons systems like the Littoral Class ships armed with 5″ gun rather than the guided 160-mile range ballistic shell that was overpriced to $800,000 each when the number of ships was going from 50 down to 3, ramping up production cost units.
Need someone who will deter idiot future and present officers and admirals who easily fall for Fat Leonards anywhere near command posts. Get rid of woke crap that doesn’t win battles. Gets our small-drone squadrons up and running faster for infantry like they are doing in Ukraine. And audits the lost billions in money.
Gets rid of potential islamicists in the ranks (e.g. Maj. Hasan of Fort Hood). …. speaking of which…. he was CONVICTED in 2013 after a ludicously-long 4 year trial and the Pentagon is STILL REVIEWING his Death Penalty sentence to see if still justified???? 10 years later??? Those Pentagon lawyers should be fired!! 10 years is an outrage. Hang the jihadist already!!! AG Biddle got the executions for the German saboteurs done in 2 weeks after the speedy trial!!!
Heck, Angry Cop Drill Instructor Hy for Assistant Def. Sec.!!!!
No!!!!!
Tom Cotton is a neo-con military industrial complex lackey. Never saw a war he couldn’t get behind. Done with foreign entanglements.
For Chairman,,Joint Chiefs of Staff?
Gen. that told PDJT it would take 1 month to wipe out ISIS, and then showed him,….funny name.
General Raisin Cane.
OOh, David Bellavia would be great as Sec of the VA. He really truly loves the troops.
All told, however, it is unmistakable that no other person could make as strong a ticket as Tucker Carlson would for Donald Trump. It is for this reason that people like Matt Gaetz have been so enthusiastic by the idea, and why Tucker has placed decisively ahead of any other potential candidate in recent grassroots polls, such as the one done earlier this month at the TPUSA AmFest conference in Arizona, where Carlson also was featured as keynote speaker.
Both Trump and Carlson should reflect deeply on the current state of affairs and recognize that fate – and perhaps even Providential fate – may be propelling them to team up to take down a common enemy that would otherwise put asunder what remains of the republic. As a bonus: such a collaboration would also surely go down as one of the greatest ever seen in history.
https://amgreatness.com/2023/12/26/on-president-trumps-vice-presidential-choice/
Tucker is great as a reporter/interviewer. He is not VP material. He runs a small team in a narrow field, photographers, set designers, video editors. His team answers to someone else for coordination, Tucker does not personally run them. Trump does not have time to bring Tucker up to speed on managing the large, varied and managerial level work team as a VP. He needs someone who is already successful at running such an operation. I, also, have my doubts about Tucker’s MAGA stance. He is definitely conservative but that is not the same as MAGA. Also, he wears what looks like a Kabala bracelet – Jewish mysticism – while claiming to be protestant.
I agree wholeheartedly that Tucker is not VP material. But he would make a great press secretary. I can already hear his wicked laugh when someone asks a stupid question.
And the idea that Gaetz’s reccomendation is a selling point?
Are you KIDDING?
At this point Tucker is one of the most trusted people in the country. It may be right where he is that will be the most beneficial.
Angry Cops Ret. Drill Instructor for Assistant Sec. of Defense!!!! Once his drill sarge senses get tingling, there is NO STOPPING HIM. Especially Private Potato of the Space Force “TO THE SKY!!”
I can see Tom Homan being THAT guy but he’s better off running the Dept. Of Homeland Security. I’d trust that guy with my life.

Carie Lake 1000%
Its Kari Lake, but YES!
Just as there is no other choice for Potus than PDJT,
There is no other choice for VPOTUS, but KL.
If they even THINK about Impeaching PDJT he says “Go ahead, make my day!”
Sounds good to me!
🎯💯
You mean Pompeo is not going to get a position this time?
I LOVE Dr. Ben Carson for all the reasons you lay out, Sundance. Totally agree that there is no one with the chops he has and the integrity to do the job needed.
I can see most of your other picks as well and agree they are well matched to the task and able to stand strong against the demons. I do not know Benz at all. I am a little iffy on Vivek and Robert Kennedy, Jr. They have not yet won my trust. They certainly have potential. I tend to see RKJ in a more medical bent than CIA.
Thank you for weighing in on this. I kept running the names people have suggested and coming up with reasons that no they were not enough of what is needed for VP this time. I adore Kari Lake, but she does not have administrative background yet and I agree with others she is needed in Arizona, if that state can clean up its act on voting. Other than being a woman, I did not see her as being a better choice than some of the strong men.
deleted
Need to have Erik Prince VP or Sec Def., or some role close to DJT.
If not Prince, DJT.JR for VP
No way. Prince is a con-man
What a great list Sundance. What about Patel?
I think Dr. Carson would be better for HHS or Surgeon General. Vivek could dismantle the Dept of Education — as he says in his speeches.
I don’t trust RFK — he is still a liberal at heart. In the CIA, though, he might be able to expose his Uncle JFK’s files…
RKJ for CIA!
LMAO. How does the saying go? Paybacks are a ……
Totally agree with the Ben Carson pick.
Trump/Carson is a perfect balance.
Trump exudes loud strength and confidence and Carson exudes quiet, peaceful, strength and confidence.
People who think Carson is not up to the job have clearly never seen interviews where he puts people/antagonists in their place , calmly, succinctly, and *completely*.
The guy’s a gem.
I know he said he’s done with politics, but hopefully, he’d come back for a 4 year stint as VP, so he and Trump could show Americans – and the world- how it’s done. They’d be an example for future Administrations to live up to.
I have not yet read all 966 comments. So I apologize if this was asked or discussed already.
I would like to understand why Sundance chose Ramaswamy as Defense Secretary.
I was also surprised by RFKJr for CIA Director although as a revenge tactic, he might be the perfect choice. I know he thinks the federal government orchestrated the assassinations of his father and uncle. But I am not sure he is totally committed to severely restraining them or undoing their powers. I have seen a few wishy washy responses from him regarding his stances and he is not at all aligned with PDJT on some issues. I would be fearful that his long and deep democrat roots would prevail against other considerations.
Donald Trump Jr. puts his dad on notice over buzz of Nikki Haley as VP pickBy Social Links for
Ryan King
Published Dec. 26, 2023, 6:34 p.m. ET
Donald Trump Jr. drew a line in the sand for his father in the veepstakes: no Nikki Haley.
The former president’s son doused cold water on the notion that former President Donald Trump would select his former UN ambassador as a running mate. Trump Jr. was adamant about flexing his clout to ensure Haley did not get the position.
“I wouldn’t have her and I would go to great lengths to make sure that that doesn’t happen,” he told Newsmax’s Eric Bolling in a recent interview.
“Nikki Haley wants never-ending wars. She’s a puppet of the establishment in Washington, DC. She’s the new favorite candidate of the billionaire class because they want control— no different than academia and Harvard and using their billions to exercise influence.”
Where does General Flynn fit in all this?
— Head of the FBI ?
DOJ-NSD
My two frontrunners for VP are Kari Lake and J.D. Vance, Trump endorsed them both. With J.D. I have to do more research though.
While Biden and the DC crowd didn’t give a damn about the train derailment in Palestine Ohio, J.D. showed up as did Trump.
disregard.
Kash Patel for CIA Director, or just defund it all together.
Dr. Carson is good. But he is 72 years old. In 2028 he will be 77. A younger choice is in order.
He is also a gentleman. The VP is often used as an attack-dog to go after opponents. Dr. Carson is far to polite to do that. Granted that Trump takes care of that job personally, but a non-POTUS is sometimes better positioned to swing the hatchet.
ha! I thought Carson was a lot younger than that.
Had to look it up to double check and, yep, you’re right.
He sure doesn’t look it or carry himself as a 70 YO, tho.
I also don’t think it’s disqualifying.
He’s more articulate than most 30 YO’s, and that’s what matters>>> Getting one’s point across in the most succinct and effective way possible.
Vivek would be best as Director of OMB. He can try out his plans for eliminating entire departments, bureaus and agencies.
Mike Flynn for SecDef, or possibly DNI. But probably SecDef because that is who owns most of the budget for many of the three-letter agencies which is the only way they can actually be brought to heel.
My thoughts.
Huge no on Vivek – none I would nominate would take it, but it needs to be ex-military, someone NOT involved with the current pentagon leadership and someone that is NOT part of the executive or boardroom side of the defense industry.
Huge no on RKjr – he’s a communist and has stated he would jail those against the climate change narrative if the law allowed. Besides, CIA needs to be disbanded completely, as it’s the DS incarnate.
Gaetz? Who brought us BOTH of the useless House Speakers? Hard pass. Put Higgins in his place.
Rand Paul would be out of his element at ODNI – put Flynn here and put Rand in place of Ron at Treasury.
MGT? Another hard pass given her ACTIONS since being elected, including slobbering all over McCarthy and defending his corrupt arse. Put Palin here and put an executive bulldog at EPA to dismantle it by 2/3rds.
Transportation needs a deregulator and administrator – possibly put NC’s Mark Robinson in this slot.
DHS needs a trimming and someone who knows the core task – bring back former border patrol head Rodney Scott.
Put Dr. McCullough at HHS and let him clean out the place and its daughter agencies.
I am iffy on Matt Gaetz on FBI or in any power position. Something just seems off about him. Gut feeling I guess. Not sure about Ben Carson as VP either. I feel it needs a person with more grit to him. Not sure.
I wish an outsider could be the VP. One that has no ties to the people inside but knows and understands the mechanisms in place and what has to be done about it. Is that even possible?
I see it differently. The VP pick should be someone extremely loyal to Trump but also someone the deep state would fear if something happened to Trump (call it protection). I don’t think Carson scares anyone.
While many criticize Dr. Carson’s quiet. soft spoken demeanor as “weak”, they fail to recognize the sheer inner strength to remain focused and dogged. Dr. Carson as a pediatric neurosurgeon understands the razor wire tension of separating Siamese twins and the many other heroic and genius procedures he has conducted. He’s not rash nor quick to respond. His silence runs deep which make him an incredibly powerful person with high integrity and character. Yes, Sundance, I agree.
Nullius in Verba
In all sincerity I do not in the slightest believe that President Trump plans any sort of retribution. I fully believe that he is more concerned with reckoning. See Conservative Treehouse article titled;
“President Donald Trump Op-Ed, “There Must Be a Reckoning””
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/07/31/president-donald-trump-op-ed-there-must-be-a-reckoning/

See the last sentence of the first paragraph;
“As President Trump notes toward the end of his discussion, “there must be a reckoning.”.”
Because I had heard numerous commentators using the word “retribution” instead of “reckoning”, I finally did some research on the two words. My advice when it comes to anything that I say is, whatever you do, Nullius in Verba! (On The Word of No Man!). Never take my word on anything. For someone to prove me wrong (with some sort of documentable evidence), provided they can address me in a civilized manner, is always welcomed by me.
I am Not going on lay out all of my research, but I am man enough to offer you at least an indication as to where my trail lead to. But, here again, Nullius in Verba. You are not required to accept my information. However, should you find that my conclusions are in error, please be man enough that share your conclusions with me.

When you are finished, here is a short video for some entertainment;
Post Script; I you are not intelligent enough to understand that the phrase “man enough” is generic, then do not blame me for your ignorance in misunderstanding what I meant.
Michael Flynn for sure as CIA director. He knows where the bodies are buried. That is why they got him kicked out of the first Trump administration
I believe Carson would be a great choice. First, he has the intellect on the same level as PDJT. Pense wasn’t on that level. That would be a refreshing change for a CIC.
A human voice can shatter a glass. Every object has a resonant frequency – the natural frequency at which something vibrates.
PDJT shattered the globalists elites his resonant frequency – loud, bold, brassy, in-your-face truth.
But an opposite type can have the same shattering effect through quiet, confidence, forthrightness with some humor – such as Dr. Carson.
Sundancesp’s cabinet list will slay the dragons in each agency. They will do the grunt work with a vengeance which is very real and personal in many cases. Such people have one focus, one target and driven until completion. That is their passion.
When President Trump returns he will come back with a vengeance and tear it all down. He will be our retribution. The right bulldogs in all positions will get the job done.
OBiden divided us. Our country is shredded, and PDJT must rip out the evil so the good can surface and survive. Then when 2028-2036 comes Dr Carson will carry on PT’s policy, and the storm will continue until it doesn’t and he will be the calm, peaceful voice of healing for our country not just on our soil but internationally. He will build bridges back that have been torn down.
Dr. Carson is a healer by training and profession. He will lead us down the path of healing our nation, but the evil must be extracted first by President Trump. Given more time he could bring about the unity and healing.
The ying and the yang.
I think this partnership would be our best shot.
As much as I like Sarah Palin and continued to vote for her through each campaign, I don’t think she’d be good on Trump’s cabinet. She has lost a lot of her steam. I was really disappointed with her after the congressional campaign loss. I voted for her, so I’m not ragging on her as a hater. I do like her. She just doesn’t have the fire she used to. I think Trump needs strong people around him.
Ric Grenell will have lgbt flags flying at all our embassies. I do not like him in the cabinet. I had heard that he was good a slashing govt workers. Let him do MUCH MORE of that!
Grenell needs to held accountable for his roles in both the 9/11 cover-up and the arrest of Julian Assange.
Sundance, I totally agree with you about Ben Carson. He was actually my first choice back in 2016- and I actually worked to try to help get him elected. There is a lot more to Dr. Carson than meets the eye. He has a silent steadfastness and strength about him. He believes in and fully understands the MAGA mission. His faith in God is unshakeable. I also really like your cabinet member slate. RFK Jr. as head of CIA is inspired. He would most certainly not have any qualms about tearing into that organization and beginning the retribution phase on day one!
VP needs a Wolverine and Dr Carson is too gentle and peace loving to be effective and a possible 2028 candidate.
The VP (and the 2028 candidate) should be a hands on, cold as steel and fiery enough to melt the left’s souls. Someone with a charisma that is complimentary to Trump and has personal beef against the system he’d be about to dismantle. Someone who don’t gives two shiyats about what the RNC thinks.
I think Gaetz might be the one. He’ll need some Trump-loyalist advisors for his 4 years of training and projects of increasing in magnitude that by year 4 Trump can present him as the next Trump.
Matt Gaetz. ‘Cause McCarthy, Ronna and the System hates him. ‘Cause he actually threw sand in the machine and it staggered and jammed there when Kevin the Speaker was humiliated.
Ben Carson is no wolverine. His public persona, though highly admirable, is the antithesis of an alpha patriot. I regret that I have no shining alternative to recommend.
kari lake for vp
rfk is a leftie; gaetz is a mason; massies is now campaigning with desantis. his vp needs to be just like him. else they will assassinate him.
For me too!(smiling)
