CBS floated some ridiculous story about President Trump asking advisors their opinion of Nikki Haley as a VP option. That story is nonsense. Anyone in the orbit of Donald Trump knows Nikki Haley is a nonstarter.

Two months later, April 2021, when asked about her 2024 presidential ambitions Nikki Haley says:…”Out of respect I would never do anything to go against [Trump], he knows that. I would have a conversation with him and talk to him about it should we decide we want to pursue it; but, um, no, I have a great respect for him, and I would never consider running against him.” (link)
When Nikki Haley attempted to contact President Trump he ignored her calls. She could not get the meeting. She announced her intention anyway, because she was always going to announce her candidacy. Everything structurally around her was well known as soon as she left the administration.

If they can’t get Jeb, or another Bush (ie. Rubio) over the finish line, they will be much better positioned with investments in Nikki Haley.

I like Kari but look at her resume – has she ever run anything? Would you choose someone with no experience to run Apple? I really wanted her to be governor so she could get some experience under her belt. Kristie Noem is a possibility. I of course like Vance but can we afford to lose him as Senator? Elsie Stefanik knows a thing or two and she comes from a state with a lot of votes.
This will be a hard choice and unfortunately identity politics will probably come into play when it shouldn’t at all.
I would dearly love to have her as a MAGA Governor during PDJT 47, she would show America exactly how a state opposes and resists the Federal Government in accordance with the Constitution; look what she has shown the nation with her relentless fight over the election steal in AZ, she already knows more about the game than most, and shows more courage than any potential competitor noted thus far.

Trump built and ran a world class real estate development company and this included much negotiating. IMO he had the best resume for running a country of any POTUS in my lifetime. I was in construction for many years – what he did was not easy. Real world high stakes experience where only results mattered. Most politicians are lawyers – taught to run their mouths for either side of an argument depending on who is paying. You see what we get despite however many years they spend in Congress. At least governors have some executive experience.
I agree wholeheartedly. President Trump held vast amounts of real estate around the world and knew how to negotiate and Navigate within the various parameters of those countries. Those contracts, attorneys, laws, and international diplomacy take a very steadfast statesman. Those are the qualifications President Trump brought to the presidency.
He also managed thousands of employees. That alone takes a very strong leader.
Comparison made with two different premises.
Donald Trump was loooooooong on experience successfully with dealing with and negotiating with politicians, something that takes great study and understanding of the scumbags. He was extensively experienced with dealing with, negotiating, rubbing shoulders with world leaders, contributing to building their economies. Often these leaders he dealt with were USA adversaries.
In typical predictable fashion Republicans (even those red-pilled and MAGA) still latch onto a promoted hero that fights but really has no experience and is new on the scene, all while being untested. They are cheered, praised and pushed to be vp/president.
President Trump was fighting for These United States of America for a couple of generations, making Kari’s fight obviously amateur.

I don’t look at political experience as a required attribute. All you need is to be a natural born citizen, 35 years old, intelligent, and courage to stand up for your convictions to be a good President. Part of standing up for your convictions is energizing the MAGA base while supporting the platform. and rebuking the opposition and their MSM. The office is already defined and the President doesn’t have to micromanage the executive branch.
The VP is the most useless Constitutional job. You are the President of the Senate, and you don’t even have to show up (thus the Senate Pro Tempore) unless a vote is tied. Its’ a good training position to witness the duties of the president if the president includes the VP in policy.
Recall Harry Truman didn’t know squat about was Roosevelt was doing until he assumed office upon Roosevelt’s death. It doesn’t have to be like that with a Trump-Lake ticket.
DeSantis does not have two terms under his belt. He has yet to assume his real role in his second term which is the role of actually being Governor instead of a POTUS candidate.

My opinion is no more important than yours, so let me just add that as a preface.
My belief is that Kari is simply a natural. Her leadership abilities are rooted in the depth of her convictions that harmonize and synchronize perfectly with ours and those of President Donald Trump, and she is the closest incarnation of Joan of Arc that I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime.
St. Joan had no other experience other than a belief in her divine purpose which dictated to her exactly what must be done. Kari has that same, infallible divine purpose, i.e., the socialists must be defeated at all costs. Actually, she knows this better than any other human being in the United States, and is, in my mind, the worthiest successor to Donald the Great.
Of course I will support President Trump no matter who he chooses – but I pray it’s someone who can be a worthy successor. I would love Kari as VP, but she hasn’t held any political office that I know of, and I wonder if that would work against her… Another person I’ve been impressed with is my Ohio senator, J.D. Vance — he seems very MAGA to me, and is a very pro-Trump conservative. Just saying, although I would hate to lose a good MAGA senator, he strikes me as a good possibility for VP, especially now that he has seen government from the inside.

It depends. I think PDJT is a much more formidable weapon for good because of his government experience, than he was his first time around in 2016. He did amazingly well for an outsider, but now that he knows how deep, wide, and pervasive the swamp is, hopefully he will be much wiser in how he leads, and who he trusts.

It was an Insurgency MAGA campaign, and a sight to behold.

If you understand how to use apps, Google Earth (for example) displays all of Kiawah in 3D relief, showing all buildings, roads, services and businesses. All you would need is the address of the mansion to look it over.
Nothing is private from satellites. You just can’t show up at the gates in person.
