Actually, what is important is WHO Detirmines who counts the votes.
It is County Recorders/election boards that supervise the staffs that count the votes, and WHO places those County Recorders into their
positions?
In Az, in 2020 and 2022 the elections were stolen in MARACOPA County, because it has a large enough population that a yuge # of phantom voters can be stuffed into the voter rolls, without it showing.
Steven Richer, County Recorder and Bill-not-that-one-Gates Maracopa County Board of Supervisor, ran as Party endorsed REPUBLICANS, and supervised the stuffing of the voter rolls, and the stealing of both elections.
Both are still ‘serving’ although Gates has announced he will be retiring.
The State R Party must approve of their actions, as they have not condemned them, ..and the Party approved them being on the ticket as Republicans.

The thing is to detach oneself emotionally from the recurring dynamic of weekly crises and focus exclusively on the cure. Obviously, one must monitor and step out of the way of oncoming vehicles. But the gameplan is to create an extra-rational demand for top down imposed control to arrest the dynamic – in short, to redirect attention to the symptoms rather than the root cause.
Just a thought. Don’t dispose of the MAGA term – but that has become toxic for many folks. It has to be combined with or substituted for with the concept and reality of freedom. Sundance is spot on in identifying this as the key value at stake – and the lever for living our daily lives.
What’s going on is a titanic battle between freedom bounded by societal/institutional and moral precepts versus the old canard of centrally controlled, authoritarian rule by a small class of self-anointed elites.

Not a criticism! MAGA has its own set of emotive and connotative properties.
Just adding in that the concept of freedom captures all others. That’s how all of this should be defined…IMO.
To be exact in all of this: there is elevating awareness and realizing bona fide gains in elections. Here, MAGA leads the charge, identifies who is in and who is on the sidelines.
Then there is what is done once power is achieved – governing. MAGA has consistently sat around 45 to 48% of the electorate – the solid part that is intransigent in its commitment. Then there is a a wider set of fluid voters: disaffected centrist democrats, frustrated independents, political wave riders, poorly educated youth, subversive academics, etc. That’s not going to disappear. The Democrats/Left have the same problem IRT MAGA – their solution is to corrupt judicial and legislative systems to crush MAGA. What is MAGA going to do once in dominant power? It cannot follow the “my way or the highway” approach of the Democrats/Rino/Left – that will fail.
Take MAGA (don’t shed it) and frame it at much higher decibel levels as freedom. What matters in all of this is the core principles. How does one live their best life? The answer has been voiced by Sundance very clearly – by living as a free individual. Freedom to live where one choses; freedom to practice one’s religion separate from the state; freedom from state controls not codified in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; freedom to travel where one choses; freedom to speak what one thinks; and on…and on. The Left converts through coercion, bribery, implied threats, and fear – empowered MAGA cannot replicate this. It has to sound the clarion call to freedom – a principle grounded in the individual ever since the Enlightenment.
Achieving electoral success is not end state. It is only the beginning. Longevity depends upon an invested, committed society. Successful governance is the next item on the checklist IMO. What’s the plan? In my mind, pounding the freedom bell is a key component for sustaining victory.

Republicans are SUPPOSED to be those who support a Republican form of Government, Democrats obviously prefer the illusion of mob rule known as Democracy,…and America First breaks that logjam.

America First appeals to me more as well. MAGA is associated more as a political movement than anything else. To be clear – I am not advocating dispensing with MAGA! MAGA is a political force that, judging by the hatred it provokes in power centers, is impacting the future of America. It’s more a matter of tactics if I have to muddy the waters.
When I project at what I think will unfold down the road – a significant component of overcoming resistance, ultimately, falls in emphasizing that the common ground is freedom!
Yes, However at this point in time of the “War”, MAGA is who we are ARE, which is a united force of countrymen fighting for the A1 goal. MAGA is the WTPOTUS fighting to preserve the Constitutional Republic, which is about individual inalienable rights. Not about America being first.
Without the MAGA soldiers/patriots the goal of America First cannot be carried out. The only way for America First is to MAGA and the only way to MAGA is through reclaiming individual rights.
To switch out or soften MAGA now in preparation of a third Party A1 name is playing into anti-MAGA hands, letting them define who we are and what we are. It is waving a white flag. If we cannot keep our own self-identification to make others feel good and less identified with President Trump and MAGA and nasty tweets we deserve to fail in saving the country.

Read what I posted more carefully. I did not advocate abandoning MAGA – that would be kinda stupid on this board! As I contemplated the battles ahead, it occurred to me that MAGA should be associated with freedom in every instance. The interests behind Obiden are not going to disappear. The whole history of the Left is one of regrouping after recurring defeats.
I completely agree with Sundance that in the end this boils down to freedom. The honey trap can very well have MAGA at its core – but it is freedom that has the greatest traction. For all the others who, in some future government, are going to have to be assimilated into the re-stored society of mutually respecting citizens – living in common will have to be founded on freedom.
It was just a sidebar idea not intended to provoke anyone. If that shapes the core of your identity – it’s not my mission to undermine that.

My personal gauge is two women in their mid sixties.
Law abiding, family loving born and raised in what was small town British Columbia.
Both are extremely intelligent, kind and talented.
None have to the best of my knowledge ever protested anything.
Yet both attended several Canadian Trucker rallies, and one attended two President Trump rallies in Washington State.
In American politics one would be labeled Democrat the other an independent.
Both are MAGA and are all in for President Trump, both utterly despise our British Columbian and Canadian government.
The visceral hatred they have although IMO healthy has saddened me.
These lovely ladies have a bitterness about them now that is only increasing with each new travesty.
I am a cynic, and “ battle hardened “ and would prefer not to be.
The good news is they are AWARE. and they are surrounded by likeminded family and friends.

That was my first politically aware election, and I remember this capitulation by Nixon like it was yesterday.
Mine was 4 years later, and even then although my Dad started my political education, it was years later “looking back” on it that I saw it for what it was; a CEE-EYE-AYE Coup, taking out BOTH contenders for POTUS, because neither would have “gone along with” the plan for escalation in Viet Nam.
And let us remember that stolen election was conducted with single election day, paper ballots, hand counted AND voter I.D.
It was corrupt election officials in Chicago and Texas that stole the election.
Machines don’t steal elections any more than guns kill people; its PEOPLE that steal elections, and the machines, like guns are just the tools that are used.
If we focus all our efforts on eliminating machines, mail out ballots, etc. and keep the same process for installing the PEOPLE that conduct the elections (corruptocrats like Steve Richer and Bill Gates) we will have gone to all the work of eliminating machines etc. ….and STILL have SSTOLEN ELECTIONS.
Whereas, address the process that puts these corruptocrats in charge of elections, and it won’t matter if machines are used, we will get fair elections.
Put another way, if election officials in Maracopa County had followed the election laws, rules/regs, policies/procedures as mandated, Kari Lake would be our Governor, machine voting, mail our ballots, extended voting period would have made no difference if they had just followed the law.

I was thinking again about our great land and where we find ourselves today, I always get back to the Founding, the 4th of July 1776 and “our” beautiful; “Declaration of Independence”
Like all of our Founding documents they were, I believe, divinely inspired. They evoked God with every step through our Founding. These men and women risked everything for the idea of freedom and their natural rights granted to them by our loving God.

I remember when banks had Christmas Club type savings accounts for customers and stores had lay-away programs. Wonder if those will be seeing a comeback.
KMart still had layaway, but I think they only have maybe 3 stores left now.
They don’t want people saving they want people using cards.
Layaway helped people shop early without potentially going into debt.
OR people are not buying and charging what they normally do or did in years gone by….they have to make up the projected ‘shortfall’ somehow….
