Don’t know what her political views are and don’t really care other than millions of young and some older people pay attention to her. I just don’t think she’s all that great of a singer. Survey: More than 1-in-5 Mail-In Voters Admit to Cheating in 2020 Election
For the past three years, Americans have repeatedly been told that the 2020 election was the most secure in history. But if this poll’s findings are reflective of reality, the exact opposite is true. This conclusion isn’t based on conspiracy theories or suspect evidence, but rather from the responses made directly by the voters themselves.
In the 2020 election, more than 1-in-5 voters who submitted ballots by mail say they did so fraudulently, a survey from Rasmussen Reports and the Heartland Institute reveals.
The survey asked those who voted by mail in the 2020 election if they filled out a ballot “in part or in full, on behalf of a friend or family member, such as a spouse or child?” to which 21 percent said they had done so.
Though many states allow voters to receive assistance while voting, the Heartland Institute notes, filling out ballots on behalf of another person is illegal across the United States.
In addition, 17 percent of mail-in voters in the 2020 election said they cast a ballot in a state where they were no longer a permanent resident — a violation of federal election law. Another 17 percent of mail-in voters said they signed a ballot on behalf of someone else, also a violation of election law.

Its a poll, so self reporting and probably didn’t ask “Did you pick up any of those mailed out ballots that were everywhere, fill it out for the candidates you want, signed the envelope and mailed it in?”,….and if they HAD asked, doubtful many would have answered truthfully.
Of coarse, IF the election officials are doing their job, the Sig. varification SHOULD “Catch” that the sig on the envelope doesn’t match the one on file, and so the envelope “should” never be opened, nor the ballot inside scanned and the votes on it tabulated.

Supreme Court Gives Capitol Rioters a Major Win
The Supreme Court has agreed to hear one of the cases challenging the Justice Department’s interpretation of the “obstruction of an official proceeding” charge in what has been seen as a win for January 6, 2021, Capitol riot defendants.
The court granted certiorari for Fischer v. United States on Wednesday, taking up Joseph Fischer’s appeal on the felony charge. The obstruction charge at the center of the Fischer case is the same one deployed against hundreds of defendants allegedly involved in the attack on the Capitol, including former President Donald Trump.
Fischer is one of three January 6 defendants who filed a petition with the Supreme Court. The case could upend hundreds of cases should the justices strike down the DOJ’s reading of the obstruction charge and disagree that those who breached the Capitol building “corruptly” obstructed Congress’ proceedings on January 6.

Am I the only one who believes Smith’s rush to the Supreme Corrupt Court is because he already knows he’s going to get a favorable ruling letting his trial go forward? Once President Trump is convicted and jailed during his appeal to the Supreme Corrupt Court the Court will then take up the case? It all seems so Unconstitutional just like obamacare which we still have!!! In fact, one of my favorite Chutkan moments was when Trump’s defense attorneys during a hearing in late August complained about the voluminous amount of discovery involved in the case–Chutkan replied that they should have been collecting evidence for the past year bc they “knew” the indictment was coming.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is in Washington this week, once again pressuring U.S. lawmakers to dole out tens of billions of taxpayer dollars for his war effort. At issue is a $110 billion national security supplemental the Biden administration has requested that includes about $61 billion for Ukraine, as well as more funding for Israel, humanitarian aid for Gaza, and money to secure the U.S.-Mexico border.
Senate Republicans last week sensibly blocked a vote to advance the bill because it doesn’t include changes to border policy, which is the only thing that would actually secure the border. But the border isn’t the only good reason to block the funding package. It’s becoming increasingly clear that the war in Ukraine is an unwinnable quagmire, and that for all the calls we hear for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict, what’s really needed is a ceasefire in Ukraine, where the solution today is more or less what it was before Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022: a negotiated settlement.

In an effort to uncover information about Hunter’s potential Mann Act violations, Heritage filed a FOIA request with Weiss’s office on July 31 requesting communications between the latter and Main Justice “regarding potential victims in the investigation of Hunter Biden.” Among other things, the request also sought to find out “which DOJ component was responsible for handling victim issues related to the investigation of” Hunter and to obtain any communication Weiss’s office had with the U.S. Probation Office regarding the Mann Act “or related offenses.”
House Republicans’ requests for similar information have also been met with silence. On July 25, for instance, the House Oversight Committee submitted a request with the National Human Trafficking coordinator and director of the Office for Victims of Crime for information on Hunter’s alleged Mann Act violations. Neither division has responded to the request.
In its suit, Heritage alleged that Weiss and the DOJ’s failure to forfeit all “non-exempt responsive records” constitutes a violation of the Justice Department’s rules and FOIA guidelines, and further requested the court “[e]nter a preliminary and permanent injunction” forcing the defendants to comply with its FOIA request “on an expedited basis.” Heritage also asked the court to bar Weiss and the DOJ from withholding the FOIA’d documents and waive fees related to its request.
