Go back to AUGUST 2023, it’s so transparently predictable I even created a drop-down category “Internet” for the citations and articles about it. Jones is describing what I called, “The shadow banning of the internet“.

I find it very interesting the DHS memo was issued on August 8th, but only published for the general public September 15th. July and August were when I first identified AI spider crawls were already underway. Pay very, very close attention to the two underlined words in the following paragraph:
Take out the word “improper” and the admission is, DHS uses AI to profile, target and discriminate. In the second sentence, DHS currently participates in systemic, indiscriminate and/or large-scale monitoring, surveillance, or tracking of individuals. The only thing those sentences in the paragraph say, is that DHS will not allow AI to create improper outcomes within a system they outline that already exists.
Stop and reread that last sentence as much as needed. Inasmuch as this DHS guidance is telling us the rules for Homeland Security (DHS) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) as they use AI, they are also outlining what current processes of surveillance would be enhanced by it.
DHS’ AI task force is coordinating with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency on how the department can partner with critical infrastructure organizations “on safeguarding their uses of AI and strengthening their cybersecurity practices writ large to defend against evolving threats.”
What are those critical infrastructure organizations? They include voting systems. Who or what are those evolving threats? You!

Mayorkas emphasized the need for DHS to adopt AI quickly, regardless of whether it’s commercially acquired or internally developed technology.

“We’re going to need to prioritize what aspect of our mission should we really double down on to harness AI because I worry about diluting our focus too much,” Mayorkas said. “And I really do want to demonstrate, as quickly as is responsible, how this could really be a game changer for us in advancing our mission . . . we have to pick our spots here, in my view, somewhat surgically.” (more)
Notice the emphasis on speed. Get this AI system launched into DHS surveillance, tracking and monitoring systems as quickly as possible.

The U.S. internet will be different. The social media restrictions became more prevalent and noticeable in the past several years; now it is time for DHS to expand that process and begin directing traffic.

Somebody I totally disagree with politically and spiritually and who is a Northwestern theatre grad said, more or less the same, that Napoleon is a sh-tshow.
Don’t rely on somebodies review. Some of the best movies have not had the best reviews. Just watched some 4 star(out of 5) reviewed movie got free off satellite and I’ll tell you it was one of the worst. Overacting, confusing ridiculous story line and an ending that never addressed a murder in the opening scene as to who done what.
I do not recommend “Dead Again” that has a 6.8 on imdb. Sorry, this is a one star and isn’t even bad enough to be a corny watchable movie.
I will say that historically there are indications that Napoleon was a tad deranged so casting Joaquin Phoenix who is a bit out there might be the best reason to see it.
One of my grandad’s got away from Napoleon’s conscriptors by moving himself to America in 1809. The purpose of the layoff management fad of the 1970’s and 1980’s was to destroy job security for the middle class not to improve profitability of the companies. If you looked at timing of layoffs and the time it took workers to find similar employment it becomes obvious that the purpose was to wipe out the savings of the workers, raid pension funds and force workers into living paycheck to paycheck. This had the effect of increasing expensive credit card debt as people were forced into relying more and more on them to survive increasingly longer and more frequent periods of unemployment. Because non-government workers had less and less time with an employer their retirement saving became less forcing them to continue working long after their father’s generation had comfortably retired. The net effect was to move large amounts of wealth from the middle class to financial institutions and the wealthy who controlled these institutions.

I have recently noticed that internet search’s have become diminished. Odd topics have somewhat disappeared or been buried deep. Searches result in obviously pushed or widely off topic results.
As a test I typed “controlled information beta test conservative treehouse” into my Brave browser search field and this thread from ‘5 hours ago’ came up as the top result. We can test different search engines and parameters to gauge exactly what’s going on. I don’t doubt manipulation is going on.
Not sure if it is related, but youtube started enforcing NO Ad Blocker policy a couple of days ago. If you turn off the Ad Blockers you will probably be given a “giftee” or two from youtube I suspect. We certainly don’t trust any of these tech giants. PS get rid of your smart phones (Fred Flinstone flip phones work just fine still) and get the heck off social media. Those who use those things only enable the beast. Don’t make it easy for them!!!!!
What’s odd is I don’t get any love notes from YT on my Firefox browser that’s running two ad blocker ad-ons but I do on my Brave browser which has no ad-blocking ad-ons. I don’t view YT on a phone, rather a few laptops with a phone as a mobile hotspot. I’ve also stopped using my YT account, mostly.
Interestingly, the laptop with the Firefox browser is still logged into YT. The one with the Brave browser has never been logged into YT. Hmm….

ICANN is the organization that the U.S. relinquished oversight of and which became a ‘global organization.’ Prior to Dopey’s actions the U.S Department of Commerce had “override” authority of ICANN decisions. It was based in California.

Perhaps fake news, but it could be more and more people realize that most, if not all of our problems are self-inflicted. Changing the Pathways for packet traffic is a very technical discussion with probably a number of ways to acheive. Characteristically the internet routes traffic from source to destination via large very fast traffic switching routers [or stations]. Addressing for the traffic was provided by internet domain name servers at session build. Otherwise traffic in the form of packets were simply forwarded between peers using that mechanism. The Arpanet (later Internet ) was designed in this way. What is perhaps suggested is that domain name servers now distribute destination addresses that route traffic through a proxy content evaluation server prior to forwarding to destination. In this way layers of traffic type can be defined, where as the original method did not consider this (it was pure traffic). This is different or course for cellular traffic which does not route over the internet, although WIFI calling and messaging, in homes and business do. Non the less it has become very complicated.

It is interesting to see how people do not remember the past! Initially there was only dial-up, which could be initiated pretty quickly as every computer has this capability built in. No need for the internet, just dial in to any number of options, even servers in a foreign country. It will probably be slow but have automatic uploads set up for the alternative news and in a few minutes get anything you need. Old tech always works and is harder to foil/destroy, especially works well in 3rd world countries where centralization and govt is not capable of subverting truth. Anyone could also just set up bulletin boards like the old days, just dial in directly to whatever sites you want, they could have this running in a couple hours.
The higher the tech, the easier it is to destroy….

The U.S. government’s terrorist watchlist has nearly doubled in size in just six years, a CBS Reports investigation has found.
An extensive review of court records, government documents and interviews with more than a dozen current and former intelligence community leaders revealed that the consolidated database of individuals has not only been quietly expanding in number but also in who it targets.
The numbers speak for themselves. When it first launched on Dec. 1, 2003, the consolidated watchlist — now known as the Terrorist Screening Dataset — included approximately 120,000 people. By 2017, the last publicly confirmed numbers, it included nearly 10 times as many: 1,160,000 individuals. Now, at the end of 2023, the Terrorist Screening Dataset contains the names of approximately 2 million people the government considers known or suspected terrorists, including thousands of Americans, according to a CBS Reports investigation.
“It doesn’t mean they’re a terrorist,” cautioned Russ Travers, a veteran of the U.S. intelligence community for four decades who helped create the watchlist. “It means there’s something that has led a department or agency to say, ‘This person needs a closer look.'”
Government policy says agents must have “reasonable suspicion” to put a person on the watchlist. But it does not disclose what those suspicions are based on, and the government will neither confirm nor deny whether an individual is on the list.
“Those 2 million people who are on the list are on there for a reason,” said Monte Hawkins, who has served on the National Security Council for every administration since 9/11 and currently helps oversee watchlisting policy for President Biden. He notes that “a vast majority” of those listed are not U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.
National security officials acknowledge that there are people listed in the consolidated terrorist database whose names should probably be removed, but that there isn’t enough staff to audit every person’s file regularly…”

Somehow the Federal Government has the throughput capacity to add as many names to the database as it sees fit, yet it doesn’t have enough staff to audit the system.
This is an admission the terrorist database is AI-managed. It is exactly the same process social media platforms use to detect copyrighted material. AI constantly scans and flags platforms for copyrighted materials being used without permission, but any disputed claims require a human to manually review the issue.
Gee, I wonder why this AI-managed terrorist database began expanding six years ago, in 2017/18….
Would using actual ISP addresses bypass this? We might need to start using TOR for browsing.
