Democrats are, of course, in a problem of their own making. They nominated a cadaver who was twice rejected for the spot in the past. But it turned out that with a little pandemic hyping, race riot stoking, and mail-in ballot rigging, they were able to pull things off and foist him into the White House, defeating (temporarily) Donald Trump. Unfortunately, the country collapsed into ruin under Biden, and the next election was fast approaching. They knew he shouldn’t run again, but his natural successor was an inept and undeniably unqualified Kamala Harris, Biden’s black woman of color female vice president.

They were stuck with the only person who could say he had beaten Trump before and was the best option to do it again. It just so happened that that person was now past the age of 80, in obvious and rapid decline, and had overseen a presidential term marked by global war and economic catastrophe.

When Public Distrust of the FBI Comes Home to Roost

The FBI has spent years earning our distrust. Those leading the bureau have refused to address their obvious issues — behaving as if they were above accountability. But violating the public trust has consequences, which they are just now learning.

In just the last eight years, the world’s “premier law enforcement agency” has been caught

I know Sundance is making a big deal about the whole digital dollar stuff, and I thought I’d make a couple of points if I may, even though I’m not sure he reads these comments. But I still think it’d helpful to people here.

Fed Wire, which was this old way of money transfers, was replaced by Fed Now recently. It’s not a CBDC, like some suggest; it’s not even programmable. It’s just sort of an upgrade to Fed Wire. It’s a 24/7 program, but it doesn’t require banks to hold more funding, which heightens risk. They are picking winners/losers about who can access it right now, though.

Stable Coins just digital Eurodollars. What are Stable Coins? I have no idea. I have no idea what Tether is, either; but it seems to be a pretty big cog in this wheel we’re seeing emerge known as crypto currencies. I don’t trust any of it, including Bitcoin. Why does Jamie Dimon want to ban this stuff? I have no idea, since the Eurodollar system itself extends US power abroad (this system is why Russia, Iran, etc. can easily bypass sanctions and have nothing affect them). But maybe it has something to do with Powell raising interest rates doing QT to suck up global liquidity (QE was a disaster, it never works either).

So what’s the Eurodollar system? It’s a cartelized ledger system that puts claims (promises to get) on dollars, which only the US Government can print. The more the US prints, the more the rest of the world is gonna want to build up their own economy, putting themselves more in debt, making it harder to pay off without de-leveraging. And in order to de-leverage, they have to de-dollarize. This is ultimately the trap of whole thing. But the worst part about it, for the US, is that the Fed, the US Government at large doesn’t have control of it. The US’ monetary and fiscal policy has been at the whims of the entire global since the 1960’s or so. This is why the dollar can strengthen against other currencies global while still having massive inflation domestically and vice versa.

Learning more about this system is the key, I think, to getting the country back. But at the same time, I think it could also box us even more than we realize if it were turned against us.
