At dinner last night, I was questioned about Twitter and the recent remarks of Elon Musk. My opinion is somewhat out of variance with the mainstream considerations.
I believe the demise of Twitter was essentially determined long ago. Musk stepped into a scenario that was tenuous at best, and the government control of the platform was always the fulcrum issue. Musk’s prior intent with the platform may be up for debate; however, against his recent remarks, I would argue Musk is presenting the potential collapse of the platform as a martyr scenario.
Musk said recently the platform may collapse without advertisers, but he will not acquiesce to corporate blackmail. Sounds great, but keep in mind that Musk has known about the fulfillment of the DOJ search warrant for user data since January of this year; we only recently discovered it. Put that background reality into the overlay of your opinion, given the year of comments about users shared by Musk, and the known lack of platform privacy.
Musk knew as an outcome of the platform fulfillment of the court order, the release of all user metadata who supported, followed, liked, or shared the tweets of Donald Trump, that the government created the “his kind” list earlier this year. Yet, he never discussed the issue of compromised privacy throughout his commentary; he did exactly the opposite while assuring people the platform would protect users. [Ex. How did the encrypted DM promise work out?]
Now Musk positions himself as the martyr, the victim of leftist targeting…. and his hired CEO Linda Yaccarino is doing the same thing [SEE HERE]. What better way to guide the platform into a controlled collapse than to be a martyred hero as the Twitter platform potentially disappears. Just think about it.
Simultaneously, all prior DOJ/FBI/IC datamining and intelligence gathering operations against conservative or liberty-minded Americans becomes legal when contrast against the fulfilled subpoena. That’s the same DOJ/FBI/IC motive behind the Carter Page FISA application. All prior surveillance legalized ex-post-facto, history rhymes.
VIA CBS – Walmart said Friday that it is scaling back its advertising on X, the social media company formerly known as Twitter, because “we’ve found some other platforms better for reaching our customers.”
Walmart’s decision has been in the works for a while, according to a person familiar with the move. Yet it comes as X faces an advertiser exodus following billionaire owner Elon Musk’s support for an antisemitic post on the platform.
The retailer spends about $2.7 billion on advertising each year, according to MarketingDive. In an email to CBS MoneyWatch, X’s head of operations, Joe Benarroch, said Walmart still has a large presence on X. He added that the company stopped advertising on X in October, “so this is not a recent pausing.”
“Walmart has a wonderful community of more than a million people on X, and with a half a billion people on X, every year the platform experiences 15 billion impressions about the holidays alone with more than 50% of X users doing most or all of their shopping online,” Benarroch said.
Musk struck a defiant pose earlier this week at the New York Times’ Dealbook Summit, where he cursed out advertisers that had distanced themselves from X, telling them to “go f— yourself.” He also complained that companies are trying to “blackmail me with advertising” by cutting off their spending with the platform, and cautioned that the loss of big advertisers could “kill” X. Twitter has $12.5 billion in debt from the initial investor purchase of the platform. The debt service costs around $1 billion per year ($100 million/mo). There was never a viable path to profitability and/or platform solvency; the operating costs when combined with the debt service are just too high.
Now, think carefully…. In late September, Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino made a bold statement. Yaccarino stated that from her review of the current status, Twitter would start to turn a profit in the first quarter of 2024 {link}. However, with $100 million per month in debt service alone, this statement seemed too far of a stretch. At pre-Musk levels of revenue, maybe; but that $1.5 billion debt service is a heavy nut to carry.
Timing – Remember, in early October the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) gave special regulatory approval to Bill Ackman’s firm, Pershing Square (hedge fund), for a new investment vessel called SPARC, whose purpose is to invest in private companies in order to take them public. As noted by CNBC, “In a SPARC, investors will know what company the financing vehicle would be used to merge with before they have to pledge their investments.” The financial mechanism avoids some of the issues with typical IPOs.
•It was October 2023, inflection time. •Yaccarino says a strategy is underway for profitability in Q1 2024. •Ackman gets SPARC approval. If you ask me what was going on, I’d say they were positioning a mechanism to get the debt removed and the investors repaid – sell the debt via Ackman.
Once the new advertising boycott began, the Ackman story disappeared completely. The debt holders are naked with a platform that is worth less than the original investment.
Was this just naive stupid thinking? Was the current scenario the result of failed foresight…. or, was this a guided and controlled outcome? If you ask me, I’d say the latter.
Who wins? The surveillance state…
….while everyone proclaims Elon Musk a hero for trying.
Brilliant!
Welcome to the 2024 election season.

The left needs twitter gone before the 2024 election. Watch the pressure get ramped up
Careful, you sound like it’s a flaw and not a feature.
Are there any companies that aren’t compromised? Large corps?
Human nature is always both light and dark. Only Democrats pretend it is always sappy-happy, while they scoop up the cash we recklessly leave lying about.
Lets see I switched from coke to Pepsi–but oh well they are screwed too.
Walmart and Sams over Target due to their obvious wokeness yet prior to this mess, walmart was less woke. I still WON’T do gender neutral bathrooms.
Can’t stand Best Buy–but mostly because they almost literally killed me
Oh I think I could go on if I really thought about it. Wish I was younger and was more self sufficient.
Here is a list of Woke companies–Do i agree on all–Not sure, but damn it is long.
Complete List of Woke Companies (UPDATED November 2023)Most of those who wrote me asked if I had a list of woke companies. I did not. So I started an initial list based on ads in The New York Times and the Washington Post, condemning what is really a fictitious assault on democracy and the right to vote. I wrote at the time to defend Georgia’s law and time has proven me correct as minority turnout and turnout overall surged in Georgia’s primaries. Early voting for the general election has set records, and Black voter turnout has been massive. But don’t expect any of the woke corporations or the mainstream media to apologize for their Jim Crow 2.0 slurs.
Then, as other woke companies launched totally bogus attacks on Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, which the media DISHONESTLY calls “Don’t Say Gay” even though there’s nothing in the law about saying “gay,” my list grew. Other companies made the list for paying their employees to have abortions in other states. Then the list grew and grew as I started researching companies and my dear readers started sending me suggestions. (Keep ’em coming!) If there’s no link below, it means they made the list for protesting election integrity legislation or Florida’s parental rights in education law. There are currently 448 woke companies on my list and I update it all the time!

Sundance is on your list?
I noticed that too but when you click on it, it is the Sundance film festival. While so many of these did not surprise me, Kitchenaid sponsoring Devin Mulvaney did.
Just for reference….. Kitchenaid = Whirlpool.
Only 3 companies left that make appliances… <Whirlpool (
americanChinese)>….. <Samsung (Korean)>….. <Bosch (German)>.Bro retired from there….. was shocked when the government allowed WP to purchase Maytag, leaving just 3 mfg in the world for all the retail brands.
That is the film festival…Like I said I’m not sure which I agree on or not…
Do agree that number of big companies that think they can use blackmail to manipulate others keeps growing.
OK moderators what did I do now LOL…
Sundance was listed on your list.
Sundance film festival…The Sundance Film Festival and Sundance Institute announced that it “has augmented its healthcare benefits to include covering travel expenses” weeks before the Supreme Court decision, according to Variety. Its annual festival is scheduled to be held in Utah where an abortion ban is expected to be implemented.
The answer is No. Big Government wants Big Corporations. Government only needs to make a few phone calls to control things. Controlling small business is like herding cats. A great example was Apple when it started to take off and Jobs wanted no part of Washington DC. Apple had no lobbyists. Democrats immediately started to investigate Apple over one thing or another. Apple got on board with the DC Crowd. Covid “struck”. Big Retail remained open, small retail was forced to close.
Illusion. Always look behind the curtain.
They want us gone
Don’t agree because why would they advertise in the first place. They want exposure and they can get it at twitter/x. Thats business. Just because Musk said the things he did does not mean they will withdraw. Any business needs advertising and x is it. If you are a billion dollar franchise and do not have exposure enough, you will express your concern but will soon be back with new initiatives to get your brand out there. I loved Musk giving the finger to the elites that gave him power enough to not meddle in idle things anymore. He is outsmarting, a little bit of future foretelling, them. He is not red pilled because he knew what it will take to suck up and get to a point where he is now. There is no way in stopping him now. He will be human kinds greatest asset.
“He will be human kinds greatest asset.”
Musk? You can’t be serious!
I have closed my eyes to wokeness and opened it again because it might have some value for future generations then closed it for good because there is nothing of value, n matter how you spin it.
You do not understand South Africans.
To be honoust, I think that Musk have a great deal of good in him . You can judge him as an uber incomer but he is close to earth.. haha. I am coming back to South africa standards, thats why i trust him. Humble but yet stern and f.ck them.
We will cross many mountains.
👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 You are as sharp as a tack.
I don’t think this is what’s going to happen. There are too many ways to monetize a user base the size of Twitter’s. There are all kinds of services and online products that could easily make Twitter as fat as Facebook, and Musk has the guys who could build just about anything out fairly quickly. I’m going to sit back and watch. When Sundance came out against DeSantis, it took me a while to get my head around that. But I was willing to keep an open mind. And time proved him right. I don’t think that’s going to happen this time. I’m a numbers guy. And I think the numbers favor Musk. Time will tell. I’ve been wrong before. But not that many times. We will see.
For a number’s guy, you sure missed all Sundance’s Jack’s Coffee Shop Analysis. The bigger X gets the more they lose. Without government subsidy, there is no way to prevent bankruptcy. The big guys were looking for suckers…….ie little guys. But X is falling apart even faster than they planned. Similar scenario played out in 2000 to 2007. Government forced lenders to give mortgages to people that could not pay them back and required no money down. What did the banks do with this idiot law? They created mortgaged back securities and mixed the dogs with good mortgages and sold them for a profit. The folks holding all those Mortgage Backed Securities lost their shirts. Ackman tried to do it again but thankfully X is sinking too fast. Sundance thought they were out of money in October and they probably were.
What part of hemorrhaging outflows (debt) vs insufficient and getting worse inflows (revenue) do you not understand?
I’m a numbers guy, too, and this argument came out at the beginning on comments when SD first addressed Elon/X.
Things did not improve over that time period and it is getting worse.
Those entities he has to pay fees monthly to in order to operate every month will not float him when he cannot pay the bills.
Kind of like when you don’t pay your utility bills. The consequences – no water, no power, no gas. You’re shut down!
What part of personal net worth $250 billion did you miss? Or did you see the part where I said I disagree with his analysis, yet I’m open to having my mind changed. As I was with Desantis. The math geniuses out here like myself understand that that $1,200,000,000 a year is about 0.04% of his personal net worth. And that’s assuming he can’t come up with another business model that works. Let’s try division, not the highest arc in a math education, but it should work here. 250 billion÷ 1.2 billion means Musk could support Twitter out of pocket if he never makes another dime for the next 200 plus years.. in the meantime, Mom’s calling, it’s time for dinner. Run along
Wealth does NOT equal cash to pay deals, again!
Here you again.
One’s net worth does not pay monthly bills.
Example:
A person owns $100 million in stock.
Buys a $20M house putting down all his cash as a down payment, but has no jog nor income.
House note comes due. What does the person do? Sell assets to pay the note, or lose the house?
Elon has not sold off any stock to pay Twitter’s bills.
They were not able to raise funds through Axkman. And apparently, Twitter, Inc is either “borrowed out” or can borrow no more.
That means insolvency for Twitter.
Just because he owns other companies does not mean that he can comingle funds. He does not have the cash personally nor can raise it through revenue, it’s a done deal.
Basic financial accounting.
Easy enough?
Bk, it’s a Friday night and you know I like to push your button sometimes. You are a worthy online joust and someone I’d be glad to share a foxhole with. But I can’t argue anything on the details. I’m sort of just a big picture guy. He could go to any bank and get whatever he needs at the best terms available. Honestly, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Be well, I’m tired this evening and may turn in early. And yes, if you own multiple companies you can co-mingle all the funds you want. I do it all the time. Because they’re my companies. Tesla is the only publicly traded company Musk is involved with. The rest are privately held, I don’t know what his percentages are, but there are no rules about how money moves around within one’s personal holdings.
What’s going to be the response from those millions of Trump supporters whose posts, likes, etc., are now owned by the malignantly vindictive, Law-fiendish/Deep State? If they leave X never to return?
That would be true, if only .gov’s order had not destroyed privacy on the platform. The only reason conservatives returned to the platform after Trump’s banning, their own banning, etc. is because Musk offered an improved platform without the censorship and shadow banning.
Exactly. This was all planned long ago and the deep state has never left twitter. My question is…Will the deep state step in & pretend to “procure” X from Musk or will musk continue to pretend to be the hero and presumably go down with the ship?
I feel like I am watching a soap opera…
That’s because we are.
Truman Show.
We will know for sure if after X collapses the mainstream begins doing sympathetic profiles of Musk, saying he was “misunderstood” or that he made valiant sacrifices but ultimately could not overcome… blah blah blah. In other words when he gets the Ray Epps makeover.
Whilst living The Black Book of Communism.
One heck of a tax deduction, eh.
Think a fortune is to be made if someone can create a mechanism to share the advertising info but keep user anonymous where the people aren’t bombarded with spam phone calls and emails but get relevant advertisements.
I personally don’t care if the cookies allow people to advertise products to me, but I’m sick of the spam calls, texts and emails.
I remember you have said in previous posts that the government had to be funding part of it that it was too expensive for private entities.
Gab is the most free, in the fact that I can scroll past content that is offensive and they do own their own servers.
Interesting times but your post is plausible.
A LONG time ago it was easy to see that GAB was the only possibility for a liberty platform.
Unfortunately, I’m lazy.
to help if people skim the article
“Now Musk positions himself as the martyr, the victim of leftist targeting…. and his hired CEO Linda Yaccarino is doing the same thing [SEE HERE]. What better way to guide the platform into a controlled collapse than to be a martyred hero as the Twitter platform potentially disappears. Just think about it.”
🎯🎯💥💥💥💥😂😂
I just commented yesterday that Musk knew, and then charged all users $8/mo to volunteer their data and identity to the DS/IC.
And, that he should financially be on the ropes and there was virtually no news of impending solvency.
He played everybody as he was ORDERED to do!
He has other assets.
And?
It’s a matter of liquidity, and of what those assets are devoted to and entwined with.
It doesn’t mean he has an endless bank account, and he cannot necessarily convert other assets to service this particular venture, surely he has to accommodate many levels of accounting and responsibility to do such a move.
In the end, it can be as simple as deciding which of his projects have to die to avoid jeopardizing the others.
Or as malevolent as following through on a plan to destroy Twitter whilst posing as a savior.
The left needs Tucker Calson gone. Hope his programs are all archived somewhere that is safe. I hope he keeps transmitting to the resistance.
Planned demise of twitter? If so musk is not a victim but a player:😳👀
cut/paste of comment by sDee 11/30…
“Enough to know that he came out of no where”
I guess if you don’t count he fact he was part of the PayPal mafia. He even tried to get them to change the name to X.com. That’s where he made his start. It wasn’t from nowhere. He made hundreds of millions from PayPal that turned in to the billions.
And somewhere the sun still rises every morning and is still shining! I am thankful to be alive. Did Musk lie down with dogs and is now getting up with fleas?Tsk Tsk Tsk. Have a very good day everyone.

Living Water flows to quench me, The Son lights up my eyes; Faith spreads within me, Our God never lies!
Unless I am misremembering, I believe Tucker has entered into some discussions with someone else and has plans to create a new platform for his “shows”. I don’t find it right now, but not long ago I heard about it…sorry for the lack of details. Maybe I can locate it and post it later.
Twitter users could start a boycott movement while there is still a large base there.
People don’t give a rat about Twitter. Most of them have ADHD and will quickly…
…Squirrel!
IF xitter collapses is that a good thing or a bad thing?
I’m not on xitter but I gather conservative thought has blossomed.
If so how does affect the possible desire to kill xitter?
So many questions…
data gets sold legally making the spying retroactive
anywhere you acess twitter it gives your location, and other information. some tech could explain it better – with how sites attach to your browsing to sniff up your activity.
its all just one’s loss of “effects” under the 4th being abused because of an online legal agreement signed anonymously via TOS. joke
Twitter is a highly concentrated dose of the rat poison that is social media. The entire enterprise, along with Facebook, should be cast into an active volcano.
^^^^^^
It would be a real shame if all of the X Walmart followers started getting other vendor ads (Target, Kohls, etc) mixed into their streams when they go read their tweet board.
And that’s what followers are at the end of the day, just eyeballs for ad targets. Just because Walmart isn’t paying for new ads doesn’t mean they get to keep their old ones. X has all the tools to hit Walmart back.
The eventual outcome we are in, with the entirety of social media becoming a government asset, must have been the motivation behind the Utah data center, at least a big part of it.
Why not use starlink to make a twitter clone.
The integration of the various Musk companies could be very interesting, or very distressing.
Musk has stated that is his plan for X – one everything ap does it all.
Starlink is not a massive server farm.
One might as well suggest why not use Fiber internet.
Neither circumvent the reality of the beast that is Twitter.
“Our principles do not have a price tag, nor will they be compromised — ever, and no matter how hard they try, we will not be distracted by sideline critics who don’t understand our mission.” Linda Yaccarino, CEO X
it did for outting all of us on twitter (answering the warrant of any and all users and activity that interesting with PDJT AT ALL) and our activity – linking anoynmous insiders to target FOR a $350,000 fine.
And?
I don’t know, man. I see a good dude with a lot of resources caught up in the biggest battle of our time, just like the rest of us. I’m hoping for the best. I tend to work the sunny side of the street. He certainly is a monster in the free speech battle right now, so I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt. We’ll see what happens. I don’t have any inside information or anything, I just consider myself a fairly good analyst when it comes to sifting through information and trying to figure out what’s going on. Can I be fooled? Of course. Like I said I don’t have any special ins anywhere. I do try to pay attention. My analysis differs with Sundance’s. It’s not disrespectful. If you find fault with Musk right now, who would be the perfect vessel to fight our fight? I’m not on Twitter. I don’t own a Tesla. I’m not scheduled to fly on SpaceX just yet. But I like fighters. And I think that guy’s a fighter
Ohhh boy. Sorry that you’re still asleep on this one. Musk isn’t a good guy. He’s a transhumanist who is out to help destroy God’s greatest creation, man. Musk is dangerous. Musk can’t be trusted. Musk is to free speech as a rino is to Maga. Step away from the numbers and math and start looking deeper at nueralink and AI. Start with Joe Allen AKA joebotxyz and his book Dark Aeon to get acquainted with transhumanism and Musk’s role in this devilish plot.
There is a reason that he sported that Baphomet costume at that swanky Halloween party.
The reason why Musk did not discuss the court order is that it ordered Twitter to not reveal its existence. He probably would have been thrown in jail if he discussed it before now.
I doubt that X is going to go out of business soon. Musk has been able to find ways to monetize X in ways other than advertising and I think major advertisers will come back to the platform. Even the ADL is advertising again on X.
I see Musk’s outburst against Disney’s Bob Eiger as a threat to any company contemplating pulling Ads from X. If they do so it will backfire on them as the public boycotts these companies in return. There has been a growing campaign on X to boycott all Disney products. There is a real possibility that consumers will do to Disney what they did to Bud Light. Nobody needs to consume Disney’s products or visit their parks. Disney does not provide our daily sustenance.
1. Elon could have discussed “compromised privacy” as Sundance states up above that Elon didn’t do and without violating the court order to reveal the warrant.
2. What ways has Elon been able to monetize specifically that has or will raise enough revenue to cover expenses? That is pure speculation without foundation. It hasn’t happened so far and is even more unlikely to now considering the news.
3. Recent news reports have stated that Disney is taking losses on every film of late AND there has been massive cancellations of their service before this incident with Elon arose. Consumers are already abandoning Disney and it has nothing to do with X nor Elon.
X is a terrible platform for small, regional advertisers.
By fixing this issue they could realize an enormous amount of revenue.
Implement AI targeting and small advertisers will flock to it.
are ads their high earner?
The Left wants to control all information. Musk is a grave threat to them.
Self-destructing.
I made a decision last night to go back to my pre 2017 habits of visiting websites and minimizing Twitter usage and eventually deleting my account. It’s still a useful information tool but I can survive without it. It’s too much bullshit for me. I’ll go back to posting comments in forums like this or writing emails, it’s just not worth being lied to and manipulated by people who think less of you than an insect in the yard. We don’t need Twitter to win an election. Remember when everyone thought the world would end when Tucker was fired? We’re being conditioned to think we can’t live without this crap. Social media is a bad habit but I quit smoking 18 years ago and never looked back. It can be done.
I just deactivated today after spending the past 3 days following and then unfollowing Trump about 300x.
FUGGEM
Remember that Sundance has been on Twitter since forever and is active on it most every day. I believe he gets many leads from the huge amount of content posted by its large number of users.
I used to poo-poo Twitter until I got onboard and cruised it a few times per day. I’ve gotten more information and news (that’s either hard to find or nonexistent on MSM sites) from that platform than from any other single source. Few in depth stories or details to be sure, but links and reports from independent anons that aren’t available from the regular media outlets. I’m also a Truth Social user and while it’s a platform very much in support of MAGA and President Trumps policies, it doesn’t seem as robust and as diverse in subject matter as Twitter.
Don’t you think if X was gone, the vitriol will be suppressed, or would it just evidence itself in another place, like squeezing a ballon?
Musk has himself covered and can declare losses on taxes.
but companies can eliminate all the debt and keep operating- Chapter 11 reorganization
So it survives
Old debtholders can perhaps control it, converting their debt to new equity
Does anyone consider that Musk is doing what he was intended to do? He is the face of the Twitter collapse, but it was all planned to collapse the deep state platform…
How very interesting. In all these many decades, I have never(!) participated in any “social media” platform. Nor have I ever wished to.
Likewise (FYI …): “There has not been ‘a television set’ in my house for more than thirty years.” I don’t miss that, either.
Elon Musk is probably the first person to have to directly confront the issue that “the present-day ‘social media’ environment” has always been: “too good to be true.” The fundamental economic equations never made sense. External forces were pouring money into the equation because they wanted to … well … do what they are now seeking to do now. They are now trying to close the trap that they spent two decades setting.

And IMO who cares about Walmart anyway?

what does Twitter make the most money on?
ads or data selling?
Just make Twitter a paid service. Pay per Tweet.
I think its reasonable if people want to publish their viewpoint to a wide audience that it does not have to be for free.
One can use the marketsquare, that is free — but it would not have as wide an audience as Twitter.
Therefore I think Twitter will continue to exist just fine.
The only way free speech platforms will continue to exist is democratizing the running costs.
the deception of the model itself makes it impossible to retrain minds on a pay model like a cellular plan.
it let people do things for free without telling them that they were the product – sold to Company A, Country B (or just sold to the USA)
Are they laughing at us?
Have been since their first collaboration.
Probably still are.
I’m curious, I wonder how many extra conservative or MAGA folks signed up for Twitter/X when Tucker starting “broadcasting”from there and started stating their views there?
When exactly was TC’s first Twitter/X event post Fox firing and how close is it to the warrant issue date?
Worked like a charm for “them,” didn’t it?
I officially stopped my prior tongue biting and pretending for the sake of not hurting anyones feelings with the timing of TC’s re-emergence from the bunker AFTER the terror raid on mar-a-lago.
The almost zero mention of the election fraud evidence surfacing almost daily since then was the icing on the cake. I dont see him as the enemy, just controlled oppo.
That’s what DS actors do, both sides against the middle.

The Tapes are coming. The Tapes are coming. The Tapes are coming
Ah yes, The Tapes….
What!? You say the guy who makes most of his rocket-launch money from US government payloads, the guy who makes much of his electric-car money from US government EV subsidies and “carbon-offset credits,” the guy who bought the DeepState’s favorite gaslighting machine… he might be actually working on behalf of THE GOVERNMENT? Say it’s not so.
You’re much too young to be so cynical, Sundance.
/sarc
Why does The surveillance state win? It one of their main tools for surveillance. And where would news organizations get their news? It all comes from Twitter. I don’t see it as a huge lose. Where would all the garbage on twitter go?
End goal is abolish anonymity. End game no longer do you find alternative “truth” only “their” truth.
Get Tucker to interview Musk and at the same time get Sundance to feed specific questions to Tucker.
I’m confused about this sentence: “All prior DOJ/FBI/IC datamining and intelligence gathering operations against conservative or liberty-minded Americans becomes legal when contrast against the fulfilled subpoena” Which subpeona? Sundance, don’t take my head off. I had a long week and I’m just trying to understand.
This should answer your question…

In the paragraph under Muks’s photo.
“…………………but keep in mind that Musk has known about the fulfillment of the DOJ search warrant for user data since January of this year; we only recently discovered it.”
Too many ‘twitter’ a likes anymore. The government needs a new place to hide. Something will pop up.
perhaps he bought it to purposely kill it? it’s not like the company’s failure would hurt HIM in the long term. how best to stop the censors? cut their legs out from under them.
before there was social media and mobile technology, there was a more cohesive society. one where people talked with their mouths and often met in person. (oh, the horror!)
Holy Conspiracy, Sundance!
You broke the code!
Again!!
Good riddance. Twitter is a sewer. The comment section will see an IQ increase of at least 13 points.
Hokkoda: I agree.
.
Back when Trump had an account, before TS, and when without an account one still could read and peruse comments, I would go look. Invariably, I left after a few minutes feeling queasy. Sewer.
.
If you support Musk, Boycot Walmart! Tis the Season~~~
How big of a tax write-off or bailout does Musk get when X goes belly-up? It’d be a win-win for him becoming a martyr.
And it’s a lose-lose for all the users that the DS/IC can now target.
advertising anywhere next yr is gonna be tricky as no one will be buying because our $$$ will be worthless.
Petrodollar is no more, no one buys the US debt. Hang on tight, its going to be a wild ride.
How is Twitter or something like it being alive help Trump? I don’t see it. Just more government overreach and control for the coming election. Let it fail bigly.
I am standing on the premise this was always the plan.
Not many have a true idea of the sewer that the platform is.
So where/how does PDJT’s Truth Social fit in?
Twitter was finished when they banned President Trump.
Im so grateful that I bailed from Twitter years before Mr musk took over.
I’m grateful I never was a user.
I’ve always been fascinated with Elon Musk. Listened to him a lot in podcasts and also dove fairly deep into AI. Have never known what to make of him as most of us here can relate. I was listening to Steve Bannon who played a clip from his recent conference he was at, known to most for him going “viral” telling the advertisers pulling out on twitter to go fuck themselves. I dislike calling it X as it relates I believe to Elon Musks vision for the world.
He believes AI will become God AI. And he also believes it will be a bad thing. He states he’s lost sleep over this but no longer does because it would be a cool time to be alive? Weird thing to say right?
What are his priorities? Given his multiple children from failed relationships whom it seems want nothing to do with him, his nonstop twitter addiction, along with his vast wealth, influence, and multiple massive and successful bussinesses, I suspect his priorities are power and control. His immature nature and extreme intellect make him hard to peg, 2 rare qualities to both posses btw. The lack of devotion to his family, his offspring, his blood is a big factor in my overall thoughts. (I have never met him so I know this is an assumption, however given his lifestyle I highly doubt he is close to those that matter the most in one’s life)
So my opinion: Elon believes there is no God, it is up to him. (Full stop, that is enough to not trust someone). He bought twitter to feed his own AI creation. How AI becomes is through human interaction. (Hence why I’ve used chatGPt twice and rarely post anything online.). He started nuerolink because that is the next step. How to take that AI to the next level?? How about connect it to your brain! Thats why he started neurolink. Space X I believe is his shit hit the fan escape pod.
His is a BIG thinker folks. So what he is doing now might sound good ( and actually be good, like twitter) but he is in it for the end game. And the only human I trust in the end game is those that I love and Jesus Christ, who it also GOD!
Anyway thought I would share. Anything that brings others to Christ, the One truth that is and was and forever will be is worth sharing, even if it’s not face to face!! ( PS I think the internet is a tool of satan, because it takes away from true human interaction and love)
I hope to meet you all in the flesh! God bless!
Found in the bin. Apparently our spam filter nicked you for posting the “f” word. 🙁
he STOLE Twitter using a trick, to get leverage over the government for upcoming government activities related to him most likely.
otherwise the purchase was a moron move………..
because he still answered the warannt and outted all of us from twitter who interacted with a PDJT tweet. so no hero. he gained nothing in favor from us
.
Who matters most to Musk, IMO, is his mother.
Could be an Oedipus complex relationship, in my estimation . . .
As you state, he exhibits emotional immaturity which would hamper most business titans, but has not appeared to have been the case with Elon.
Maybe he is being blackmailed because of ‘icky’ secrets he does not want revealed, and was ‘given’ the opportunities he has been given, just so the blackmailers could exploit such leverage . . .?
And so if Twitter goes belly up, bankrupt, out of service and all that, what happens to all of the old user records? Will the DOJ/FBI,CIA,NSA, et. al., get away scot-free? I don’t feel for Musk at all; I think he’s a charlatan; not a good guy at all. After all, most of his money already comes from the federal government….
getting a little tired of people like bannon(who is doing nothing more than looking out for his own interests in his own social media platforms) and now sundance kicking dirt on the guy only second to trump on the left
s hate list....we should be in musks corner not playing these petty internecine warfare games because of personal likes or dislikes…this is why we lose….i`ll judge him by his enemies who are other than one or two who imo are very misguided, the baddest of the bad guys…
we love circular firing squads…..which is why the left controls every major institution and will continue to win in spite of openly trying to destroy the country in every way possible…
damned shame…
The truth of the facts Sundance presented has no agenda, nor does it care if anyone likes or dislikes Musk.
The only dirt kicked around is what is already on Musk.
Yes, its our fault that people we trusted continually stab us in the back. Why can’t we enjoy Musk telling the corporations to go F themselves and yet still not entirely trust someone that we don’t know personally? If we’ve learned nothing else we should at least be suspicious of anyone who makes a fortune from the federal government. And who on the left hates Elon? The fools who just replaced their Ukraine flag with the Palestinian flag? Fake News which does nothing but lie on behalf of the Deep State? Politicians who love anything that distracts us from paying attention to their stealing from us? Why is it so hard to believe that Elon may just be part of the show?
Musk is a 21st century Citizen Kane. I can’t help but think of the famous lines in Citizen Kane after Charles Foster Kane (Orson Welles) takes over the New York Inquirer and turns it into his private playground:
“You’re right. I did lose a million dollars last year. I expect to lose a million dollars this year. I expect to lose a million dollars next year! You know, Mr. Thatcher, at the rate of a million dollars a year, I’ll have to close this place in 60 years.”
When X is still described as “formerly Twitter” something was still going very wrong. It should have been at least called ” X dot com” which is cozier and needs no further explanation.
Musk did us a huge favor busting up Twitter- it truly was evil walking amongst us. I am sorry he had to pay such a huge monetary price because the lessons for all of us from what we learned about “BigMedia” have been worth ten times that much.
Instant communications have been a total waste of time and overall destructive to human discourse, so the loss of Twitter-X will benefit us all. Take the money and run, Musk. You already did a world of good for all of us.
Guided demise or swift crash? Either way once defunct would the pretense of search warrants be needed to mine all the data?
If it goes bankrupt who owns the data?
Curious…
The govt is the backbone of Twitter, therefore the govt owns the data.
