Thing is, if (as I do) you do not transfer the emotions evoked by the WORDS of the message, to the messenger, and if you resist the human tendency to fit people for white hats, than it doesn’t matter.

I do not care for John Bolton. When working for President Reagan as U.N. Ambassador, Bolton ruffled some feathers,…so much so that there was unofficial talk of moving the UN.

I hear people here and there saying things about TC, but I never hear the evidence. I would never mean to be one of those who say “Show me YOUR evidence;” that’s not my right. But I do wish people would not just say TC is owned by the GOPe but would say: TC is owned by the GOPe, which is proven by the fact that…. (and then go on to explain why.)
I have known about Tucker for decades. He says one thing about himself for most of his life, how naive he was about the political landscape. I completely trust this man, for one simple reason, his value of human life. The self Governed American, must have moral virtue and the value of human life, is a priority.
The sooner we get that message to the Americans who think Democrats perform those values, when the less delusional hear the truth, we have to be there for them as well.
I’m amazed so many of my friends, who know my politics, but still treat me as a brother. I don’t mince words, so many walk away.

I’ve been aware of more than a fan of TC from way back in his “bow tie days.” As a young upstart then, he was not taken very seriously by me because he was supposedly conservative, in a rather loose sense of the term, but still rather wishy-washy all the same. He seemed more concerned with establishing himself as a credible political pundit than actually establishing himself as a solid conservative.
I was even apprehensive about him during his Fox tenure–some of his stuff sounded like good solid conservative dictum and some of it didn’t. And when his text message following the 2020 election, blasting Trump and accepting the election results, came out, I pretty much wrote him off for good.
But of late, it appears TC has experienced an epiphany of sorts, maybe from his firing from Fox that opened his eyes, and seems to be right on target with his political insights. He’s no Sundance, but then who is?
Always willing to be open minded and fair, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and any second, or third, or even fourth chance to bring me fully over to his conservative (NOT Republican) cred. This particular speech went a long way in that regard.
Funny thing (“funny” in the “peculiar” sense), the trajectory of my respect and admiration of Tucker Carlson, is exactly the inverse of that of George Will, whom I used to hold in the highest regard. Now, not so much (or more like not at all).
He briefly mentions quitting drinking, and maybe getting sober has also made him a better analyst and person. Getting out of the media bubble has too.
I’d like anyone over the age of 60 on this site to remember their youthful ways. Would you have measured up then as you need to measure up today ? Face it. We grow up. We learn. We adjust. We may even repent.

Tucker had access to all the video footage of J6 but only released a tiny, mostly innocuous snippet. He bowed to the Murdoch’s but it still didn’t stop him from being fired. Those videos are finally now starting to be released.

Trouble is, unless you are tracking a specific incident, there is no way to make sense of most of the videos.
But he sure as hell could have reported what he did see and DIDN’T!

He only released a little bit and was quickly fired after that. I think it takes lots of hours of viewing by a small staff to go through all the film and tapes of Jan6, therefore he just didn’t have time.
Not sure Cactus is quite correct about who ‘owns’ TC, with regards to politicians or political parties, but several of us on this site regard Tucker with caution or skepticism, and Cactus’ instincts are correct in that caution should be considered with regards to TC.
I’ll give you just a taste of a lot of circumstantial eveidence with the caveat that “too many coincidences are not coincidence:”
(Note: there is more than what I outline below.)
1. Tucker’s father was a major figure in Voice of America, particularly Radio Marti, an entity with known IC connections (CIA) as well as a former ambassador (State Dept always works with CIA);and a former employee of US Information Agency, another known IC asset;
2. Tucker has openly admitted that he applied to the CIA but claims he wasn’t “accepted” which could be a lie, OR doesn’t mean he hasn’t and doesn’t work as a ‘contractor.’ So, he certainly had a desire to be associated with IC types, and the apple usually doesn’t fall too far from the tree;
3. Tucker has stated very negative things about Trump under oath during depositions in lawsuits in the recent past;
4. Tucker was a major figure in MSM (Fox), which is virulently against Trump. In addition, during the Church Committee hearings in the 1970s, the then director of the CIA admitted under oath that the CIA had already by then infiltrated and controlled all major news networks. There has been nothing to prove that has changed or dissipated. If anything, it has exacerbated;
5. Upon TC’s departure from Fox, he could have easily broadcasted for free (like with Twitter) from his home studio, Rumble, etc just as he has with Twitter. But he chose Twitter, a known DS controlled platform before Elon, and possibly and ostensibly so to a certain degree with Musk, as every logical analysis suggests that the DS/IC still has influence, if not control of Elon.

In this entire appearance he says nothing that doesn’t make sense to the MAGA mindset, even if he’s not specifically shouting MAGA from the rooftops. “We have the democrats/GOPe on the ropes.” Really? Matt Gaetz makes one huge stand against GOPe and gets McCarthy removed. The deep state is hardly “on the ropes”. And Tucker’s resume of recent hardly consists of producing propaganda. He’s a decent man, doing a decent thing; he’s an ally, not a shill. Before you respond, or if you respond, produce some evidence to back your claims.

There are some posts and posters that come across like that. We have all probably trusted or listened to people who were not what they seemed. I think Tucker correctly identified the motivation of the Biden regime people and others running our country. They love doing evil for evil’s sake. Trusting your gut has some reservations too, although it’s wise to listen to your gut more often than not. I thank God for the times I did listen to a cautionary visceral reaction that was proven right.
He’s had his own epiphany about telling the truth and the inner strength that comes from it. So far, so good. Predicting dire events for 2024 seems to be a given. I want to stay close to God and close to Sundance’s CTH.

Listen for the truth, and when you hear someone speaking it, then adhere to them. The present wrongful ethic rewards those who know what they can get away with; it punishes those who do not know what they can get away with. The prior is considered smart, and the posterior stupid. Truth and falsehood, right and wrong are considered quaint, antiquated and unsophisticated concepts. But a life worth living is a search for truth.
When you join with someone speaking the truth, you are living in the solution, not the problem. Lies may be the currency of this government, but lies aren’t worth a nickel. We know that a life dedicated to a search for truth is the way to go, because truth is worth money — people pay to discover the truth of things all the time, in law, in science, in technology. Businesses pay for accurate research. Lies seem the cachet of the world-weary, but they can not endure. Seekers of truth live a life rich in meaning and rewarding in personal integrity.
Perhaps we are living in a tyranny. If so, it will not last. Structures based on lies fall easily. All that is necessary is for people to fall out of thrall, to turn their backs and walk away. This was a great speech. He did a good job of getting to the truth of what is really going on in the country today. He put the words to what I and I am sure many other have been thinking and feeling for some time. To be perfectly honest with everyone I have been a fan of Tucker Carlson for some time. If I had been a a Fox shareholder I would have started shareholder rebellion to fire Murdock and anyone else involved in firing Tucker Carlson and personally threw them out into the street just because of the astoundingly bad business aspect of that decision alone. No golden parachute just hit the street.
The current situation in this country has gone far beyond politics and Liberal vs Conservative. It is Germany in 1933 or the US in 1859. We are on the verge of a major sea change in History and Tucker Carlson did an excellent job of pointing this out. To those conservative who complain that Tucker is not a pure enough conservative or hasn’t been a conservative all of his life I strongly suggest you widen your view of the world because you are about to be run over by the neo-Nazi driven freight train of history. What we are seeing is the rise of the 4th Reich, engineered by the Globalist aligned with the Socialist and the power crazed Leftist of the democrat party. I believe we are on the verge of Civil War, the democrats believe they can seize control and destroy the USA allowing them to achieve eventual world domination. They are fanatical and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals. If Civil War comes again it will not be like the first one but rather much more like Syria or Lebanon and there will be no quarter given.
