Time for republicans and independents to use mail in balloting too. The states won’t get rid of mail ins and the people are not demanding them to, so time to use the same fuel the Dems do. Get teams lined up and as hateful as it seems to do, we need to fight fire with fire. It has become a necessary action and we need it for next year if we have any hope of getting PTrump elected again. The enemy has it down to a science and we need to catch up quickly.
Mail in voting is an advantage if you are skilled at and willing to engage in cheating. The Marxists (Democrats) certainly are. They are “ends justify the means” types. For those who play by the rules, the advantages of mail in voting are minimal.

Most of the larger postal service centers are in large urban centers. They are mostly staffed by union Democrats of, again, an “ends justify the means” mentality. If they don’t destroy mail in ballots coming from Republican leaning districts they can, instead, “give it a ride” where the ballots circulate around the area in trucks and other postal service centers until after the due date. Mail in ballots utilized by Republicans could possibly produce a worse result for our side.

I live in NY and while some of this is good, the blue in this state is dyed in and deep. Next year will show if this bit of red has any staying power. Highly doubtful and that opinion comes from my own long residence in NYS.

Where I voted in rural Idaho there were two tables set up with cardboard screens for privacy with pencils available for marking the ballots.
On a third table was one voting machine (SmartVote??? I didn’t pay too much attention to the brand).
Taped to it was a sign that said “Out of order.”
I snickered and filled out my ballot, after having shown my ID to someone I knew personally who works every election.

In the state, the blue is concentrated, as in other states. GOPe may be the bigger problem.
Every genuine red state in America should be passing a TABOR – Taxpayer Bill of Rights – now! Colorado’s TABOR was passed back in the 1990’s when Bill Owens was governor.
The Government Party has been trying to tear it down ever since, but voters consistently reject it. It’s literally every election cycle. This time, they tried to fool voters with a “property tax decrease” in exchange for raising TABOR spending caps and giving up our annual TABOR refunds. (If the state collects more taxes than their TABOR spending caps, the state sends everyone a check/refund.)
Back when Republicans didn’t betray us ever chance they get, the CO GOP delivered TABOR. This has prevented CO from going full totalitarian CA. They saw what was coming (CO hasn’t elected a statewide Republican since Cory Gardner, and the advent of mail in voting.) and put protections in place.
Every Red State should do this and make it nearly impossible to repeal.

Tomorrow my wonderful and beautiful daughter, Ivanka, is going to the Lower Manhattan Courthouse, at the direction of Letitia Peekaboo James, the Corrupt and Racist New York State Attorney General, who has allowed Murder and Violent Crime in New York to flourish, and a Trump Hating, out of control Clubhouse appointed Judge, Arthur Engoron, who viciously ruled against me before the trial even started, wouldn’t even consider a Jury, and said that Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, is worth $18,000,000 when, in fact, it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount. Other properties likewise. Based on this information, which is so ridiculous, he said that I was a Fraud, when in fact it is Letitia James and the Judge who are Fraudulent for setting such LOW VALUATIONS in order to undermine and discredit my Financial Statements, thereby making me look bad – Election Interference! Now they are trying to bring Ivanka into the case, despite the Court of Appeals ruling that she cannot be charged. Sad!

New York has just announced its garbage trucks/snow plows unusable. The electric versions crap out after just 2 hours and need recharging.
Keep old vehicles and spare parts.
New York City’s electricity comes half from natural gas, one third from nuclear and the remainder from hydro. Why not eliminate the batteries and simply run vehicles on natural gas? Duh. The batteries are a HUGE green burden on the environment. They require excessive excavation of earth’s materials, are hazardous waste and cannot at this point be recycled.
No energy conversion is 100% efficient.
Converting from one form of chemical energy (natural gas combustion) to another form of chemical energy (stored in batteries) and then to kinetic energy (car running) is less efficient than just from one form of chemical energy (natural gas combustion) directly to kinetic energy (car running).
It’s a waste of energy to pack it into a storage unit that will slowly bleed charge over time, quickly bleed charge in the cold, and cost energy to convert it into a form that could have just been gotten from direct combustion.
I believe that peak automotive technology occurred in the mid 2000s. Automobile performance, when combined with reliability and longevity, has gone down since then.

I think the win on abortion was getting Roe v Wade overturned. We should take it and move on. Abortion law is now decided by each state.
If we continue this fight in every state,we will not win on the legal front with the state’s abortion laws.
The facts are that abortion is a personal matter and many people, even pro lifers, do not want to interfere in that decision made by the woman involved. It is not our business. It is between the woman involved and God and her doctor.

That’s why it’s used by LE and in forensics to identify individuals. An unborn child has its own DNA different from the mother in about 6-7 days after conception. When that unborn child is murdered the DNA of that child will never exist again. My personal beliefs and faith have lead me to believe life begins at conception not after birth. I choose life!

I do not have an answer, but politically, the pro abortion crowd has an argument that many people agree with and it involves letting the mother decide.
I would like to see the medical research and so forth disallowed from using aborted tissues for research. That would be a good political argument to start with, and you can keep working on it from there.
It certainly has been a divisive issue most of our lives, along with Israel and the Palestine conflict.

Outside money, and outside interests won the day in Ohio. There was a mass mailing campaign (out of San Fran California) of handwritten notes to vote yes on Issue one, YouTube and other social media saturated with vote yes propaganda (yes! it was all lies), massive numbers of tv ads, all of it was deceptive, and obfuscating the truth of what the bill really said. Parental rights have been obliterated. As of last night when I looked, only 20% of eligible voters in Ohio had even bothered to vote. I guess the money laundering of the Ukraine war has made the commie progressive left flush with money for all manner of evil.
Ohio… where do I begin? I do not think those who voted for Yes on Issue 1 fully realize what they have done. It was not just simply enshrining the right to abortion in the state Constitution. The ballot measure said an individual’s right to make choices about their reproductive systems. Individual means MALE OR FEMALE and the reproductive system means Ohio just enshrined the right for anyone regardless of age can now seek trans care without notification or parental permission.
And while they are celebrating legalizing marijuana, the legislature is not bound to follow the vote and can actually change the law or repeal it altogether. There was a reason they made sure marijuana was on the ballot so they could get their abortion-transgender on demand passed, even though they knew the marijuana law will most likely be repealed.
Quite a choice – marijuana vs. Universal Sex Change (may become mandatory in the future!)
Retired Magistrate here: I think that the abortion issue will be tied up in Ohio courts for a long time. The language in Issue One is filled with language that is subject to various interruptions. Also, Issue 1 did not state how it would effect existing legislation concerning abortion. An example, medical safeguards with regard to a woman who has an abortion and it goes bad. Does Issue One do away with those safeguards? In my opinion many of these issues will end up in the Ohio Supreme Court, which is a conservative court.
One of the reasons Issue One passed is the special election Ohio had in August with regard to changing the percentage of what it takes to amend the Ohio Constitution. The bill would have increased the percentage from 51% (where it has been for over 100 years) to 61%. Just last year the Ohio legislature stated there would be no more special elections and then, viola, another special election which was specifically tied into abortion. Changing the threshold from 51% to 60% would have made it more difficult for a grass roots movement to get an issue on the ballot. This move by the GOP in Ohio really ticked off voters in Ohio; they saw it as a tricky move to take power away from the voters.
What I really didn’t understand is why the pro life movement here in Ohio didn’t get signatures on the Heartbeat bill, which is currently tied up in court, to make it part of the Ohio Constitution. Of course, to pass, the Heartbeat bill probably would have to have been amended to make an exception for rape and incest. I am not saying this is right, but for the amendment to pass that would have been the best chance.
Yes, there was a lot of outside money coming in to support Issue One and a lot of misleading ads. Our RINO Governor, DeWine, put out a tepid statement that he didn’t think Issue One was right for Ohio; that was it.
Now we are left with a real mess here in Ohio.
So what am I going to do; pray that women will change their minds about murdering their babies and give those babies up for adoption. I had a child out of wedlock and gave her up for adoption and after many years now have a good relationship with her. She is such a blessing along with my two wonderful grandchildren.

Oklahoma legalized medicinal use marijuana and it has been a nightmare.
Anyone can get a prescription for it. And it has not obliterated the demand for illegal marijuana since it is much cheaper.

How The Federal Government Used Evangelical Leaders To Spread Covid Propaganda To Churches
In September, Wheaton College dean Ed Stetzer interviewed National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins on his podcast, “Church Leadership” about why Christians who want to obey Christ’s command to love their neighbors should get the Covid vaccine and avoid indulging in misinformation.
For those not familiar with Stetzer, he’s not just a religious liberal arts professor and this wasn’t just another dime-a-dozen pastorly podcast. To name just a few of his past and present titles in the evangelical world, Stetzer is also the executive director of the Billy Graham Center and the editor-in-chief of Outreach media group. He was previously an editor at Christianity Today and an executive director at LifeWay, one of the largest religious publishers in the world. That’s to say nothing of the dozen-plus books on missions and church planting he’s authored.
In short, when it comes to leveraging high evangelical offices to influence everyday Christians, arguably no one is better positioned than Ed Stetzer. You may not know his name, but if you’re a church-going Protestant, it’s almost guaranteed your pastor does.

I read the whole article and will never use them again. I will go with out…I occasionally used them for an item I cannot find…typically, I go to a company and not the behemoth.
I’ve only used Amazon in recent years when a product was not available direct from the brand or a conscientious seller, often finding it at a cost less than Amazon including shipping, but my primary reason is social-political. I do go to Amazon for reviews, which suggest another reason for avoiding it: details of many bad reviews have led me to conclude that it must be selling a lot of inauthentic products, as the linked article seems to confirm.
I have seen that in the reviews as well. People claiming that they bought a counterfeit product.
I’ve avoided Amazon for years. They helped to get the internet sales tax pushed through.
Amazon bought Whole Foods. They also moved into the selling of pHARMa drugs.
Is Amazon being positioned to become the on-line ‘go-to’ place for shopping – and entertainment (bread and circuses) – in the future? Where everything, and everyone, can be tracked and traced, always?

An addendum, similar to what I wrote late yesterday, on pro-infanticide Issue One:
The Pro-Life forces – as far as I know – did not address the specific lies from the well-funded Abortion Industry behind Issue One.
The use of the word “individual” in Issue One opens up abortion to teenagers – even 12 year old girls – without parental consent. This was never explained in a mass marketing campaign.
People were vaguely told to “read the language carefully,” but were never informed why.
