The Democratic donating judge in the disbarment trial of Trump’s attorney John Eastman is doing everything she can to help the California bar’s attorney keep a letter out of evidence from a US Attorney to Trump exposing AG Bill Barr’s attempts to squelch election fraud investigations. 🤡🤡🤡🤡So much of this trial has been spent arguing with her about not letting testimony or exhibits into evidence, even though the disciplinary court has far more relaxed hearsay rules than regular courts. Both Eastman and his attorney are sounding annoyed. The judge’s favorite words during this trial are “Let’s move on.”

It said in part, “On Election Day and afterwards, our Office received various allegations of voter fraud
and election irregularities. As part of my responsibilities as U.S. Attorney, I wanted to be transparent with the public and, of course, investigate fully any allegations. Attorney General Barr, however, instructed me not to make any public statements or put out any press releases regarding possible election irregularities.”

“I disagreed with that decision, but those were my orders. As a Marine infantry officer, I was trained to follow the chain of command and to respect the orders of my superiors, even when I disagree with them.”

This corrupt and biased judge is ridiculous. The Bar has cited Bill Barr as saying there was no election fraud that made a difference. Eastman’s attorney wants to move into evidence William M. McSwain’s letter saying he was told NOT to investigate election fraud by Bill Barr. The judge is now saying the letter is irrelevant despite the charges against Eastman citing Bill Barr. “Let’s move on” is all she says. She says the letter is not relevant when it is EXACTLY relevant. Eastman’s lawyer is patiently trying to follow the basic rules of evidence and this judge is being ridiculous. It gets past hearsay when it shows Mr. Eastman’s state of mind and is admitted for that reason! This is simple shit. The judge is so corrupt she doesn’t want the truth coming in.

A federal judge in Texas has temporarily blocked the Biden administration from removing razor wire along the U.S.-Mexico border that was placed by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s administration to stop illegal migrants from entering the country.

The U.S. Border Patrol has argued it sometimes needs to cut the wire to save lives when migrants are at risk of dehydration or drowning. In Eagle Pass, Texas, agents began regularly cutting through layers of razor wire in September as the sector became the epicenter of a migrant surge.

Texas sued to stop the Border Patrol agents from cutting the wire, and U.S. District Court Judge Alia Moses of the Western District of Texas ruled on Monday that the wire is the “property” of Texas.

Can the president fight any war he wishes? Can Congress fund any war it chooses? Are there constitutional and legal requirements that must first be met before war is waged? Can the United States legally attack an ally?

These questions should be critical to a public debate over the U.S. military involvement in Ukraine and the Middle East. Sadly, there has been no great debate. The media are mouthing what the CIA is telling them, and only a few websites and podcasts — my own, “Judging Freedom” on YouTube, among them — are challenging the government’s reckless, immoral, illegal and unconstitutional wars.

Here is the backstory.

All power in the federal government comes from the Constitution and from no other source. Congress, however, has managed to extend its reach beyond the confines of the Constitution domestically by spending money in areas that it cannot regulate and in foreign policy by looking the other way when presidents initiate military violence.

Under the Constitution, only Congress can declare war on a nation or group. The last time it did so was to initiate American involvement in World War II. But Congress has given away limited authority to presidents and permitted them to fight undeclared wars, such as President George W. Bush’s disastrous invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and the War Powers Resolution of 1973.

The vast majority of Republicans and most Democrats support Israel in their plight against Hamas. The images and videos that emerged on and after October 7 sparked massive outrage in the western world. And despite the loud minority that continues to hold protests across the nation, most Americans would like to see Hamas stifled one way or another.

Some of us just don’t want to get involved.

Apparently, Congress feels differently. In a massively one-sided vote, the House passed a resolution backing Israel and condemning Hamas. Only the antisemitic “Squad” and Massie voted against it. But before anyone starts throwing Massie in with the likes of Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, it’s important to understand why Massie was opposed to this resolution.

It’s not that he doesn’t support Israel. He does. It’s not that he’s trying to justify what Hamas did and continues to do. His concerns rest solely in the language of the resolution which paves the way for direct U.S. military involvement and ongoing “aid” to Israel.

Like Massie, I fully support Israel’s right to defend itself. But we have our own invasion to deal with at the southern border that requires our full attention. The language of the resolution includes our willingness to provide “other security” measures, which is an ambiguous way of saying we are open to sending U.S. troops to assist. That’s a non-starter for me.
