Good grief, if the stakes of this issue were not so high, I probably would not have watched this. Alas, a review was necessary to judge the competency of policy. What follows is beyond sad.
I know many readers here will not like the thought of watching pudding brain mutter his way through a carefully edited and controlled interview by a corporate outlet intent on presenting Biden in the best possible light. However, you only really need to watch the introduction by CBS host, Scott Pelley.
Never before have I seen a more transparently pathetic political defense presented as the introduction to an interview of a U.S. president. Pelley was apologetic toward Biden in the extreme, leading the viewer into an interview with prescripted justification and excuses for the content that would follow. Watching Pelley set up this interview elicits a sense of embarrassment that such a set-up is needed. When he gets into the interview, Pelley actually constructs the talking points for Biden, with explanations and outlines that provide simple yes/no answers from Biden. This interview is so soft, it becomes pathetic to watch:

I haven’t watched 60 Minutes since they aired the Obama – Clinton love affair.

As for the subject of this report, it is hard to stomach Biden even when they try to make him look or seem presidential. May the people of Israel survive the attack and may the evil doers perish as they continue their mission at the hands of the devil himself. I think I just named some of them at the beginning of my comment.
The carnage is evil, but after some reflection and my understanding that the citizens of Israel, in general, and specifically american-citizens with jewish heritage have voted liberal/democrats for decades; it is hard for me to support people who, in essence, voted for their own demise. As Trump informed us, Netanyahu backed-out of the operation, which sought to remove the source of prior carnage. The Orthodox faction may have been more sympathetic to Trump, but not enough to counter the liberal/jewish block. My hope is to express that causes have profound consequences/effects and not an indifference to the evil that pervades the world and is likely to take root here at home. The same analysis applies to the U.S., no overwhelming push-back to corruption (my representatives are great b/c they bring home the bacon, but all those other congress critters are ‘bad’) covid, vaccines, election fraud, transgenders in woman sports, etc.
See Serbia, Hungary and to some extend Poland for nations that seek to keep their culture and not bow to the global cabal.

What I am experiencing, to use that most perfect Welsh word, is “hiraeth” (pronounced “here-ithe”).
There is no English equivalent. It means a homesickness for places past; a longing for times that once were but are no more.
Nothing stays static. All changes. But the memories and longing for what was, including our nation’s moral centre which is debauched and decayed, do weigh very heavily.
And we must hold tightly to our memories and pass them on so that if God’s grace and mercies are not withheld from this fallen country then we can start to rebuild the crumbling foundations of our America for those who follow. With Almighty God once again as our cornerstone.

I just read Ecclesiastes 3 “A Time for Everything” this scripture is worth visiting often. God in us longs to be in heaven. God doesn’t want us to get too comfortable. I would even say if we are comfortable we should be worried we love the world more than we fear God.

There is a time for everything certainly, and I accept this. And again, certainly when we reminisce, we tend to selectively remember.
This I understand too well.
These times are different. We are having to face that what we thought were in general (I shall call them) the best of times in our nation were a mirage.
I believe God is moving even as I write this, as He has always done, and is allowing us to see what was previously hidden so that in the spiritual war which is happening, we have been given the blessing of choosing between good and evil.
And so you have chosen, as have I, as have millions of others who are repelled and horrified to see what true evil looks like….and to see those who have chosen satan as the force to whom they will bow. Both are clearly delineated.
At any rate I am one who believes wherever our Father has chosen to plant us in this world, He has done so for His own reasons. If we accept this, then we must bloom, living each day as an emissary of His love and eternal goodness.
So with this in the forefront of my mind and heart, this is what I try to do…
But as I am only mortal, it is a natural thing to look back as well as forward. Sometimes it takes a toll on us all I think, as it did for me this morning first thing.

Did anyone else notice how slowly ScottP was speaking? It didn’t seem normal to me, as I don’t recall him being such a slow talker. Couldn’t help but think that it was purposeful, in order to offset Joe’s obvious slowness.
Imagine the stark contrast if Joe were being interviewed by Tucker, for example. But with Scott and Joe together, one can easily speed the interview up to 1.5. In fact, I recommend it.
