Tucker Carlson went to Buenos Aires, Argentina for a review of the country as it collapses under hyperinflation. He shared a preview last evening. {Direct Rumble Link}

Look up Ferfal he has podcasts and has posted in Gun Forums for free content on the Argentina 2001 collapse and gives you ideas on surviving it.
I have this book:
Its legit I live near Detroit, I know many Eastern Bloc/Soviet Union/Cuba Survivors or Escapees and they have told me similar stories. Detroit is a good case study on Economic Collapse. Also if you have lived in high crime cities you can relate to such survivors/escapees like Ferfal.
Get Guns, find ways to produce food or produce something valuable that can be traded for necessisties like food, look into prescious metals, have recession proof skills, have guns and be competent with them, think about other useful items and skills for survival in urban or rural environment, consider getting a dog that can be a good deterant or at least alert, and make sure you live in an area that won’t turn into a hell hole of crime.
Good luck we are in for a hellva ride in this country.
I remember he said gold necklaces were good for currency.
Yes trade gold for the shit hyperinflated currency to spend immediately that day. Wait to long and you lose buying power holding hyperinflated currency.
Old School. Ancient even.
Break off a link or what is needed.
Does your phone apps have a scale?
Bwhaha what would some do without their phone. Learn to do math, and how to measure thing. The people building houses dont use phone apps to measure the wood.
Learn about economics and price discovery..
Hyperinflation means trust is lost in the currency. Gold and silver is the OG Money cant print it! Takes some effort to find and get out of the ground
Food for thought…1 Argentine peso = 69 Vietnamese Dong(dollar)
The most valuable metal will likely be lead, as in ammo
What they call junk metals. Small easily traded. Gold and silver certificates will be worth the same as stocks if the economy collapses, nothing. Bars will be worth to much and have to be assayed to trade. Jewelry and coins (older coins with intrinsic metal value, not zinc coated coins) will be the most tradable.
Concur on the recommendation!!
Whatever is necessary to support life will be valuable and worth trading.
Food, sturdy clothing, meds, cleaning supplies, bulding supplies, etc.
Most other things will be of less value but might have some.
Use your common sense and acquire what you think will work and be needed in your area to trade for what you might no have.
The best thing to have in this upcoming situtation will be a nimble brain and being able to adapt.
Thinking your way thorough situations that come up figuring out a way to get through them, life will be different and we will need to make a new world.
To me, its obvious. I am not buying gold chains, I am buying ammo.
And I don’t mean to use AS ammo, I mean to use as an alternative to currency.
If you and I are at a local black market, negotiating for the last can of Spam and twinkie,…and YOU are offering some links of a gold chain (is it REALLY gold, or “gold filled?) and I am offering .22, 9mm and 12 g buck, who do you think is going to eat that nite?
Impractical to counterfiet, comes in different denominations and units, and there is a LOT of it “in circulation” an absolute neccesity for an “alternative currency”.
Brilliant observation..🤣👍
I hadn’t thought of this ..👏👍
🇺🇸💪😀👍
As a long time caster of alloys to make bullets & a “handloader” doing the same for about 15 calibers & gauges, I would suggest that folks should know about/approx. how much the LOADED ammunition weighs per round for the use in whatever caliber they intend to obtain such cartridges to use/barter, as well as knowing just WHO loaded what in whatever caliber/gauge & just how good they are at their hand/reloading practices. (< their expertise & quality assurance).
( If nothing else, to possibly KNOW if they are getting something CLOSE to what they expect, but it would still be EXTREMELY PRUDENT to know who the Reloader is/was for what they are getting, and the reloading practices as they make the ammo, as far as quality assurance. < I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH)
I am not going to say a LOT about such things. Just want folks to know & be SAFE.
I only post here in reply to attempt to pass on some SAFETY for folks to be aware of in the future.
I could be more specific about ammunition, but let me give an example of another kind, in order to “move” the subject/conversation about “barter” a bit towards the “Caveat Emptor”, or, “Don’t buy a pig in a poke” thinking for folks to keep in mind…
Perhaps some of you know of folks who “Can” (Preserve), their own vegetables like I & my family do to utilize our garden harvest & help us thru-out the year by doing our own instead of just going to the market/grocery t9o buy things..
There are a lot of folks who do NOT know what they are doing when it comes to canning/preserving foodstuffs, just like there are those who do NOT know what they are doing to do it properly when it comes to reloading ammunition.
When you do not properly can/preserve something, there are usually easy indicators of it.
Like>> Lids not sealed properly/buckling, mold,or some sort of “science experiment” is growing on top of the contents of the jars, etc..
Many usually easy to find & just get rid of those contents & the issues that might result from their consumption..
( Unfortunately, some things like “botulism”, may not be so easy to see & cause health problems; even up to Death.)
UNFORTUNATELY, when you reload ammunition, there is NO indicator until the primer is set off by the firing pin/striker.
CATASTROPHIC DISASSEMBLY of the firearm can be a result , which May or May not cause issues with the one firing the firearm or those in a nearby area of that firearm .
OK. I have said more than I wish to , but only took the time to offer up some warning to folks…
BE CAREFUL~!
Do NOT TRUST ANYONE you do not know well & KNOW they use the UTMOST BEST PRACTICES when in regard to FOOD you or yours might ingest, or AMMUNITION you might use/shoot~!
You make good choices.
Bad choices might result in BAD results….
GOD Bless ya’ll~!
BE SAFE & PLEASE… Use your head for more than a “hat rack~!”
Buy a reloading press and the most common dies. Buy a good hunting rifle if you want to continue to consume “natural protein”. Buy brass and gun powder and lead. Buy butchering saws and knives and learn to use them. Enjoy and take pride in the fact that you really can support yourself. Read your Bible daily and discuss what you read with God.
Very foolish to trade ammo that might someday be used against you…
Incredible that Gavin Newsome thinks he can become President. Just look at what he has done!
I really do not believe he is running, he is a distraction to keep our eyes off the real candidate the D’s will put up, assuming PDJT is the R nominee.
Brandon will resign with glory so the FIRST BLACK WOMAN can be prez.
Later camala will resign with glory having been FIRST BLACK WOMAN PREZ
and whomever will move into prez slot.
If Biden can be installed, anyone can be.
Also good to check out Indigo Traveller on Youtube. he went to Venezuela in 2019 and he gives you some good crumbs on what Hyperinflation is like and well basically Socialism too:
Its a series he does on Venezuela i recommend watching them all. Some of it is a bit sanitized for Tourists but you will see
Yes, he’s very good. I saw when he went to Haiti. And a couple other videos of his.
They are all coming to the US now the border is wide open.
I am looking forward to the followup interview with Argentina’s own Howard Beale!!
“Politicians are some kind of sociopaths.”
Haha, yeah.

You’re making the right decision. The information will find a way.
Very interesting. I look forward to watching the interview with candidate for president Melei with Tucker. If you want to see where the USA is headed then just look at Argentina.
Too right, my friend!
There’s a lot going on in the bond market which could trigger a domino effect of bank failures like what we saw with Silicon Valley bank-inept financial managers paying more attention to ESG than managing their bond portfolio. Aside from such a black swan event, de-dollarization will not happen overnight. However, the insane spending and sovereign debt can’t continue it’s present course without severe consequences. Having some gold and silver (and brass) is not a bad idea.
Recently I read of four coin shops being raided. Makes you wonder if the Feds are getting ahead of the game by
gathering customer lists of who is buying and selling precious metals. How did Roosevelt get US citizens to turn in their gold?
I’m pretty sure most people have lost their gold and silver by now. Its really hard to remember where you bury stuff…
Everyone should be burying it, and forgetting where they buried it.
I forget what I bury, right underneath existing metal pipes, water lines, sewer lines, etc.
Of coarse, works best if you configure whatever it is, in a long, narrow package, so that the person using the metal detector assumes “its just a plumbing line”.
Shhh,…don’t tell anyone.
My grandfather was livid about that. Roosevelt ordered American citizens in the 1930s to turn in all of their gold dollars coins in exchange for paper dollars. He had no legal standing to do it but he just did it as a typical socialist Democrat.
Anyone who has bought gold and silver using any electronic means whatsoever can be tracked and traced and the government can easily find out that you have it. Just like they used geofencing on January 6th to track and Trace people who had gone to the protest.
Only hope for the world now is MAGA
True. But, President Trump only has a 4 year term. He won’t accomplish everything required to stop the country’s further descent into Fascism during that time.
Who then, to carry on MAGA? No succession plan seems to even be thought about.
Not everything is being gabbed about on the internet.
Oh, I think you need to take heed of Olivers advice, and think the unthinkable, in preparation for doing the undoable.
MAGA is the way, but not necesarily as the POLITICAL hope as you interpret it.
Think “outside the box” and beyond politics.
But, even in that very narrow context, our movement is far bigger than just PDJT.
READ Stillwaters prayer, posted nightly on the Presidential thread.
You will see an ever growing list of people that have joined PDJT, in “standing in the way”.
If you HAVE a movement, leaders WILL stand up, and so many are, that Stillwater, doing yeomens work, can never the less only list a small portion of the Patriots across the U.S. and around the World that are responding.
WE are NOT alone. WE are LEGIONS, and our time is coming.
It’s called Ops Sec.
Operational Security.
Or simply not being a dope.
No. MAGA is but a tool.
The only hope for the world now is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
And it looks like it’ll get rough, but, like my late mom said, “Christ was perfect, and look what happened to Him.”
“Mom told me, Everything always turns out all right, in the end. So, if things aren’t going well, it just means you aren’t at the end,…yet.”
And yes, of coarse ULTIMATELY this is a Spiritual battle, manifesting in the Worldly realm.
You reminded me of my mother’s saying about trouble: “It’ll all come out in the wash.”
re: “Only hope for the world now is MAGA”
Dumping God now? (You leave yourself open to these things. You must be really young yet.)
Haha the most woke countries of western Europe are getting their consequences…
Marcus Garvey figurative “chickens” coming back home to roost! Good for them. Let’s see how Europe gets out of this. We all know they will not pay a nickel.
Whilst the life of a slave could be pretty bad it is conveniently forgotten that it was arguably not much better, or even worse, back in their home countries, where, along with starvation and no work, there was a risk of being slave traded eastwards. Yet their descendants became free and many prospered in the years since in ways probably unimaginable to the descendants of their ancestors that were left in SW Africa.
Would those European governments have as a defence that the descendants of the slaves in the 15 Caribbean countries are much better off than they would have been as descendents in their countries of origin? If so, should reparations be balanced against the investments made and costs borne by the European countries?
Are we allowed to make sense like that?
“Of all the tragic facts about the history of slavery, the most astonishing to an American today is that, although slavery was a worldwide institution for thousands of years, nowhere in the world was slavery a controversial issue prior to the 18th century. People of every race and color were enslaved – and enslaved others. White people were still being bought and sold as slaves in the Ottoman Empire, decades after American blacks were freed.” ~ Thomas Sowell
If you read Orwell’s “Road to Wigan Pier”, you can understand why Socialism holds such charms for the Europeans: for centuries, they’ve lived in societies that oppressed them and treated them like garbage. Is anything more ridiculous that England’s stuppid and evil class system?
But, in the United States, we don’t have that cultural baggage. On the contrary, we have a tradition of economic freedom, personal freedom, and social mobility. Thus, no crying need for Marxism. The US has solved, and is capable of solving, economic oppression by other means.
If you think that a typical blue collar worker in the US is freer than a similar worker in the UK then you are deluding yourself. Both may be free to vote but we all know how meaningless that power actually is. The bottom line is that both are wage slaves, in some ways worse off now than in feudal times.
Even more than wage slaves, they are DEBT slaves (same thing, really).
The problem AS ALWAYS is socialism. The question is, what is its enduring appeal? And another question is, why can’t it be criticized? CK tried criticizing it in “elite” grad school and the result was EXPLOSIVE! The socialist prof criticized everything all the time, so being a young and naive grad student CK thought, “that’s what you did.” CK’s career was over there, and when he got to flyover-state public school, a prof there said, “What are you doing here? How come you’re not there where you belong?” Said that I wrote a paper, and the prof wanted to see it. After reading it, the prof said, “It’s got its problems, but you’d have to be pretty low to give a first-year student a B on a paper like this.” Replied, “B? This paper got a flat-out F!” Prof apologized to me for the socialist’s behavior, but you get the point. There’s something about socialism that is personal and different.
religion?! the state as a god
Its appeal is to that of a starving man. Why should he have bread when I have none? Hence, a revolution never occurs on a full belly.
Let them eat cake…
The Mousetrap works because the mouse believes that the cheese is free.
That’s the appeal of socialism. And the consequence.
Thank you, Tucker. You are doing God’s work. God bless the long-suffering people of Argentina. Help us all face the horror that is socialism. We don’t want it here! Let us all pull ourselves up as they continue to attempt to push us down!
Great interview. I pray they get the change they want.
And, NOTE HOW LONG this has been going on, in Argentina.
A LONG TIME.
Once the Politicos succeed in looting the countries wealth, thru hyperinflation, its very hard to break the cycle.
I remember years ago when I was on FB I would post stuff to someone’s post about Venezuelan’s abject slide into Communism my leftest friends would abandon the post. No one wanted to talk about Venezuela or the gun deaths in Chicago. The smart lefty’s know. Evil they are!!
May the pit they dug be the trap the fall into.
Lord have Mercy!
I think Tucker is getting read in on certain things. He is being pointed to certain topics and certain people. I am sure he makes the final call on whether it is a story he wants to pursue, but this is not random.
Hyperinflation will destroy what is left of the middle class, upset the bubble insulation mindset of the upper middle class, and turn the dependent class into outright criminals because they won’t have the correct attitudes and skills to find sudden ways of being self-sufficient and will be going hungry – because welfare benefits won’t be able to move up rapidly enough to keep up with the inflation.
This was the economic ploy that softened up the Germans and snuck socialism light into the US in the 1930’s.
None of this is random. All of it is coordinated. More Fabian trauma to get the “solutions” Davos wants.
But we aren’t Germans, we have attitudes and skills, and weapons, and liberty is in our DNA. It’s a great big, huge country.
Do you think Bill Gates has enough security to keep people from just appropriating themselves 100 acres each out of his hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland? I don’t think so.
And the local sheriff will probably have better things to do than stop hungry people from producing food to eat.
YMMV.

‘A Ticket to Disney’? Politicians Charge Millions to Send Migrants to U.S.The Biden administration vowed to “end the illicit movement” of people through the Darién jungle. But the number of migrants moving through the forest has never been greater — and the profits are too big to pass up.

I try to like Tucker but can’t, my gut tells me there is something amiss about him , his interviews, etc.
Heh. Presbyterian.
300 million views. A new era. I recommend people watch the interview.
