It’s a Washington Post-Monmouth poll {DATA HERE} of South Carolina. However, keep in mind that Ron DeSantis has spent a lot of time in the Palmetto State and was very confident of his ability there.
The poll found that 46 percent of potential Republican primary voters in South Carolina support President Trump while the state’s former governor, Nikki Haley, stands in second place at 18 percent. Ten percent support Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and 9 percent back Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. {media report}
The split approach appears to be working. However, the recipient of the split is collapsing.
Abandon hope all ye conniving GOP who choose to challenge MAGA. We The People are in charge now. We want a reckoning.
Donald Trump isn’t just our candidate, he’s our murder weapon – and the GOP is our target. We good now?
He’s hanging on like a tick sucking all he can from the GOPe and a few wealthy donors. Most have soured on him and cut bait.
His wife won’t let him.
Forget a strong 2nd ..: a string 4th is the new hotness!
Go Meatball GO!!!!
Great pic!
Doesn’t it seem odd, that just as the establishment has switched from RDS to Hailey, Hailey pulls ahead in the polls? Such coincidences don’t help build confidence in those “polls.”
Ran DeSaddest campaign eva.
That’s funny!
Casey must be so mad right now. Love it. I’ve honestly never seen such a disastrous political campaign in my life. “We The People are in charge now.” Sure looks like it, and just in time.
Like a typical politician, never knows when to quit!
Perfect sentiments, Sundance. Things will not be right in our republic until the GOP goes the way of the Whigs. Any current elected official in the Republican party that wants to survive the coming storm needs to get with the MAGA program, and they all need to officially abandon the RNC.
Abandon…I don’t think so. Take em over. A MAGA Republican is just as good as someone called a new name.
Why should we let GOPe ruin and have the name of what conservatives really believe. We need to take it away from them.
The adjective republican describes a government made up of representatives who are elected by the citizens. If you live in the United States, you’re part of a republican system of government.
In a republican government, citizens have a lot of power — their vote determines who is running the government. The word republican has a noun and an adjective form. The noun is for a person who supports that style of government, and the adjective describes something with those characteristics. But if you see republican with a capital letter “r” — Republican — then that refers to a member of the Republican Party.
23 skiddoo, Ron! Same to the rest of you hangers on!
Should it be surprising that he’s 4th in a state where 2 popular elected officials from that state are also on the ballot? Really.
His tactic now is scorched earth. Smear anyone pro Trump.
Damn it Ron. All you had to do is cool your jets and stay on it in Florida until 2028 and run for Pres then. But noooo. you had to listen to MAGA’s enemies ( Griffin) and you really fuccc ed up your deal. You could salavage your mess by coming out in support of Trump.
What I know about Ron would prevent me from ever voting for him for anything, no matter how far in the future. He killed his future when he let Bush operatives run his campaign.
