Trump’s Republican administration had issued the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA) seven leases a day before Biden’s inauguration.
Environmentalists praised the decision, but it was lambasted by a Republican Senator from Alaska, where officials have sought to open up drilling in the reserve to secure jobs and revenues for the state.
The government also said it would forbid new leasing on more than 10 million acres in the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska, a 23-million-acre area on the state’s North Slope that is the largest undisturbed public land in the United States. (read more)

Talking about the dealership – I’ve noticed this pattern in my field, too. I work in a lab as a specialist. The covid hoax drove many techs to retire or resort to travel jobs. As a result, there are far fewer of us willing to work for a single employer, and we demand better hours, higher pay, and no injection demands. Even the lazy pigs who barely get anything done are able to make a decent living now, because the company can’t find replacement techs. On the flipside, those lazy pigs make me look even better, which has helped me gain approval for higher qualifications, better hours, and better pay. So if the nosepickers in government want to impose another covid lockdown, I imagine it’s going to pare-down my field even further, which will mean even better treatment for me down the road.

I’m in the same mindset for my 2010 Ram 1500. I’m looking at the prices of comparable vehicles because, despite running well, the truck has 193,000 miles on it.

Yep, a friend of mine at work and I were talking about this yesterday. The discussion kicked off when he mentioned another friend of ours, who is up to shot 5 or 6 now, is AGAIN sick with COVID.

My son looked at it from a faith perspective. If the vaxx was Divine Provision (a grace gift from God, provided via the God-given skills of men) then he would have accepted it and kept his job with its 6 figure income.
But as soon as it became mandatory (he was a government contractor) he said it could never have been a Grace Provision from the Father. Only the Adversary would demand compliance and force it onto people. The now proven dangerous toxicity of the vaxx only underscored its evil intent.
He submitted a religious exemption request and was surprised when the government employer accepted it. But a month later they said he’d have to submit to invasive pharyngeal testing (the long swab) every 2 days.
So he refused and quit. Fortunately he had saved more than enough to get him & his wife through a year or longer if necessary. Plus my wife and I assured him we could help if needed. We were glad he refused the jab.
By 11 months later (late last year) the vaxx & testing requirements had been dropped and he accepted one of multiple offers (they called him) to go back to a position paying equal to what he had forfeited when he quit.
His faith protected him and also “paid off.”

It’s the Lower 48 NGO’s that come to Alaska to Sue/stop development then return to their mud huts in Joshua Tree CA, for example, and pat themselves on the back how they screws Alaskans and accept donations from unwise contributors who think they’re saving the environment. we are almost fully stocked with all necessities , food , animal feeds and have to get down to our SD forested land and collect some firewood for the winter and our generator (just in case). we’ll have gas cans filled as well as many LP tanks.

A suggestion, only use diesel, it stores forever. Gas will sour and propane is very inefficient. Invest in a diesel generator and a diesel boiler for heat. Had a good friend in AZ when I lived there and he was prepper, and this is what he had.
Known it for a long time, but this further proves that Biden, et al, have purposely destroyed our nations energy independence, driving our gas prices through the roof, forcing people into all electric everything that we can’t afford and our infrastructure is incapable of supplying (maybe if they set up those wind turbines in the White House, a certain Rehobeth Beach home and in Congress, we’d capture more wind and methane!)! The situation is dire, and we need an immediate reverse course!

I’m in a conservative woman’s discussion group and this morning one of our members reported that she had gone to a democrat discussion group to find out what they were discussing. She said they all think everything is fine and seem completely unaware of the destruction of our country.
I’d like some actual data about exactly how much has the arctic warmed. Not that I believe that even if it has warmed a fraction of a degree that stopping drilling will affect it. Even IF there is warming I think it’s an earth cycle that we mere humans have nothing to do with.
