The absolute #1 feedback CTH receives both publicly and privately, even by those who hold tremendous influence amid what we would call the body politic, is something akin to … “I need to be honest with you, I thought you were nuts, but wow, you were right!” – or some version or iteration therein.
That said, there is a great urgency needed in our communication with our family, friends, loved ones and overall community.
There are many conservative ushers, many paid for their job in the business theater of politics, who would prefer we do not question our seating assignment – let alone challenge the scripted performance we are told to watch on the stage. Understanding this facet is going to become increasingly important, as the specific people who control the mechanisms of power become ever more exposed.
A comment by Gemstone is well timed, and actually aligns with a current communication question I am seeking to solve. I also remind myself that when I find difficulty in solution, you guys – the smartest and most aware group of our nation – always have exceptional insight that can help me. Here’s the comment:

Trust me when I say this discussion, while extremely important now, is going to become even more important in the next 12 months.
I am distinctly aware, perhaps uniquely aware of the information control actions that will take place in 2024.
They will be very intense and very targeted.
In 2020, they locked down voters to create the mechanism of control (ballots). In 2024, I can already see the control approach looming; they will lock down voices. Very specific voices.
If you are a regular reader of this site, you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. Meaning, you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence.
The challenge is getting those who understand the big picture dynamics to stop being comfortable and sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”. Most people are still clinging to beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to national leadership writ large. We need to change that thinking quickly – or we will be left explaining ‘what happened’ far too late.
There is also a major issue with conservative “ushers” guiding the audience into a state of tactical numbness. A willful blindness within part of the American electorate, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unconstititional actions we are seeing on a daily basis.
It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of, “I can’t see what’s happening”, because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate. “I can’t see it”, just doesn’t cut it.
It’s more along the lines of, “I see what’s happening, but it’s scary and complicated and confusing, and if I admit that I see it, I will become responsible in a way that I am not if I keep pretending; I can’t see it or hear it, or maybe I don’t understand it.”
Why don’t we dare say what is so? Are we a bit afraid that if we give up the willful blindness we will perhaps start screaming and not be able to stop? Do we think we have so little courage? Do we really believe that we have no resources to bring to the battle? Or nothing more to contribute to the turning of the battle?
There are patriots who some might say resemble one of those slightly mad orchestra conductors who keep yelling, “More trumpet! More TRUMPET!” Many of you are such slightly mad orchestra leaders. Do not be alarmed by some of the strange looks you are getting these days.

Since my days in college in the late 70’s/early’80s (in Florida) I’ve been relentless in advocating against the Left (and for Reagan then) after my dad had pointed out their lies to me from an early age and I began to see he was actually right (imagine that) about all of it. Those within my family sphere have heard from me ever since and over the last decade have come around, albeit slowly for some. I’ve thankfully been able to “learn” my kids about the evil among us and as they grew older they too began to see the light and are now very conservative along with their friends. As for friends/acquaintances every one of them knows of my political bent and I have emailed them CTH posts and other findings for the past several years yet many are still shocked about what they learn. Now and then I’ll think I’m going to stop sending posts etc. but in the end I continue on as it’s not in my DNA to ever give up or in which is why I come here first thing every day and throughout the day.
As for what’s needed for more people to understand the Truth… one easy fix could help them–GTF off of corporate enemedia completely.
Personally I think the players are set. If people dont know something is really wrong now, nothing you send them will EVER convince them. I think what the common man must be doing most…..is praying.
My family will not listen. I’m an outcast to them.
Most of my immediate family are MAGA people, but the Democrats in my family believe everything the fake news networks say about Trump. One of them told me Trump is the most corrupt president we’ve ever had. And they still love Obama. I’m not sure how they feel about Biden. Most of them are busy enjoying their middle class lives. They’re not Jewish, but they remind me of the Jews in Europe in the 1930s who chose to ignore what Hitler was doing until it was too late.
I would say ppl out here in the holler are either wearing biden (union) blinders, driving pickups with trump stickers, or diddlers. I think the diddlers bother me the most and are the hardest to reach. Be ye not lukewarm.
All you have to do is ask questions. Have them defend their own beliefs, and your only job is to try to understand why they believe the way they do.
Try very hard to not interject your own beliefs into the mix.
Ask questions like, “Why did you vote for higher gas prices?” “Do you really think that guy should be serving ten years in jail just because he was walking on the Capitol grounds?” “Do you really want drag queens showing off their genitalia to toddlers in a library?” Make them put their own beliefs into words. Make them make some sense out of their choices in life.
Say, I’m just trying to understand you better….and sincerely mean it too. If you can’t be sincere about it, you shouldn’t try it, because it will come across as a trap.

In his book “The Psychology of Totalitarianism” Mattias Desmet makes the point that 20-30% of the population is simply unreachable, because they have bought into the narrative so completely that their psyche simply cannot accept how badly they have been played. Another 10-20% of people see the truth so clearly that they cannot be persuaded by any means to accept the lies. It is the 50-60% in the squishy middle who are reachable – many of them sense something is “wrong” but they don’t know enough to be able to pinpoint what it is, while some are simply afraid to step out or push back because they think they will be cancelled or censured.
We need to spend our time on those people because if the 10-20% can be increased to 30-40% (or more) then public opinion will start to swing and the ones who are hypnotized will no longer matter because they will simply become a fringe minority without any power!! Figure out who in your circle is still willingly to engage in discussions and spend your time and effort on them!
There is none so blind as those who will not see, so don’t waste your energy trying to convince them of anything! (One of these is my own son so I do not say this lightly- at this point all I can do is pray that God will unblind his eyes.)

I think that the conclusions of Desmet are accurate as to what I experience.
I think that overall, all groups are somewhat more aware of the scale of corruption in government than they were a few years back, and to many, it only confirms long held suspicions. Even I have been surprised of the totality of the corruption.
I believe that even the unreachable ones are aware of how rotten thing have gotten but that it is in their nature to accept this as they too would welcome a chance to enrich their position with money or simple power of control over others through ill-gotten means.
The best tool that helps me fight back the ignorance or bias’ held by the never Trumpers, is the pure truth that is found here at the Treehouse.
“Cognitive Dissonance” is what you describe.
Some will just not accept the truth regardless of how it is shown or proven to them.
It is a kind of mental disorder, or something like that, and unfortunately too many suffer from it.

Answer 1: VERY well aware. My wife and I both listen to a few talk radio hosts, but my reading here I think really helps in pointing out to her the subtle “pushes” that are going on constantly with a few of the hosts. Subtle digs at certain candidates because they favor a specific different candidate without outright saying so. My in-laws are also very well aware. They were both aware of many things going on pre-Covid, but post-Covid their eyes have been massively opened to what is going on in this country. My son is also very well aware of some things going on, but is somewhat led astray because of charlatans he listens to, particularly in relation to the good things President Trump did during his term such as tariffs. Extended family is aware enough to know many things are not right in this country.
Answer 2: As mentioned above, Covid opened some eyes pretty wide. The hardline crackdown by leftists helped with that opening, but pointing out the hypocrisy of those same leftists helped the most. The blatant double standard or lack of standards of justice have also opened many eyes. Nobody believes the media and their breathless takes on some bombshell, walls-closing-in revelations since it is in such contrast to excuses the same media made for leftists.
Answer 3: Short, detailed articles of the facts of a certain situation that appear here on CTH are very helpful. They can be shared widely, read quickly, and likely get a reader interested in digging for more.
SHORT.
I say that because many are busy trying to live. A short article full of facts helps educate quickly, or refute quickly. Each short article with a link to finding out more if they choose is helpful. It takes a little at a time, but soon people yearn for more and will read the links to the more extensive articles that contain lots of background details.
CALLING OUT CHARLATANS. Sundance, one of the best features of CTH is your knowledge of how the Uniparty games are played. Calling out the puppet strings helps others see them when they are attached to certain people. Some are obvious, others not so much.
One of your best articles was calling out those “social media influencers” paid for by the DeSantis campaign. It helped to know who they are and to observe them over time. As I said above, it helped greatly to then see the subtle little pushes they were giving to their preferred candidate without ever having the guts to come right out and say so. It also helped in seeing who they were influencing with their pushes and nudges.
Some of those “influencers”, as you are well aware, got downright nasty when called out on their charade.
Calling out the charlatans in the House and Senate have also helped. Whether it is on taxes, their Uniparty actions, their kubuki theater hearings, their actions regarding illegal aliens, etc., it helps to know who these people are because others can then be educated to be aware of why they are pushing certain narratives.
REQUEST: As you have done in several of your articles, you have pointed out the damage being done to our country with a weaponized government targeting President Trump (and us). Short articles on which corrupt federal agencies and actors within them helps greatly to convince others of what is going on.
Most people understand right and wrong.
NOTHING gets through to some people who support certain candidates like DeSantis, Haley, and others like pointing out to them that their candidate, by ignoring all of the permanent damage being to our country by their candidate ignoring this targeting and corruption only means it will get much worse.
Don’t complain about how bad schools are, how bad corruption is in some areas, how bad taxes/the economy is, whether a tranny wants a drag show at your library….just move past it. Your candidate wants to move past or ignore the targeting, law-breaking and corruption doing permanent damage to our country, so why not just move past those other things?

When I tell them I read it, they say, “I don’t have time to read. I watch x, y, and z.” To reach these people, SHORT videos and SHORT articles with links to relevant facts. And when I say short, I mean SHORT… 1/4 page (100 words or much less) for articles… 30 seconds or less for videos.

I don’t want to sound like Sundance should not write lengthy articles with all the details. They are incredibly helpful at connecting the dots of who is corrupt, who they are connected to and why they are corrupt.
My point is many people have the attention span of a Tweet, tik-tok video or a short Youtube video. Short articles will get attention which will more often lead them to reading the longer articles and becoming better informed.
It should not take long for those with an interest to skip the shorts and go directly to the longer article.
Edited to add: When posting certain facts, those who are skeptical and want more will ask for sources. They will find not only the short article posted, but the longer article with all of the details and citations.
For those on the left, they will demand sources, and will completely shut up when provided with a detailed article with citations.

Most in my circle are aware of just how corrupt the central government is, but the apathy about is it is horrifying. Meaning, what can we do about it? They are surrendering to circumstances. They think I’m foolish for being upset and trying to fight back. I do my best to bring knowledge to those in my circle by just exposing them to what’s going on.
I continue to post political things on my Facebook page and there will be no responses. I don’t have people leaving my page because I don’t allow liberals on it, but I guess they just don’t care. I think Cnn and MSNBC are so detrimental to this country.
Or they’re too afraid to respond. We are all watched.
My family ( near vs. distant) exemplifies the mentality, I believe, that is the disaster ahead. Everyone knows the corruption that exists. Those that profit or benefit from Government policies or programs will squint and pretend blindness and deafness. They hate and become livid at the Truth. They will scorn their own family members

We’ve got some conservative Christian friends who we’ve been trying to red-pill for awhile. They were receptive to the idea that the gubermint / corporate complex may not have their best interests in mind when one of them got serious jab side effects. But it’s a big jump from there to recognizing the true state of the information war we’re in, and an even bigger step for them to resist the “Trump is toxic” FOX narrative. I pray for them, and for all those who struggle to face the reality of the 21st century. Thank God for President Trump, and thank you Sundance! There is a mixed bag among my friends and family. Some extended family members are in the NE blue states and they are fully jabbed and now have heart trouble. My adult son knows of the corruption and thinks the jab is the mark of the beast. His extended relatives are also a mixed bag. His wife’s parents are one socialist democrat who gets news from TV and one conservative leaning who is not very political. I have friends who are dyed in the wool Democrats of a couple flavors, two are Democrat but apolitical, my college roommate is a Bernie granny. My closest friend is a conservative catholic who watches too much Fox and was leaning towards DeSantis last we discussed politics. She just had a serious operation and will be severely restricted in activity for 3 months, wound dressing the first month. I usually discuss politics with her, but I avoided it on the last visit because she was in too much pain and while we mostly see eye to eye, it is not 100% and I did not want to cause her any additional stress.
My son is conservative and a millennial, he does not have the backdrop of how things were in the US in the 70s and 80s to fully understand what we are dealing with.
I think EVERYONE’s perceptions have awakened in the last few years, first because of the covid restrictions and secondly because of the inflation, scarcity and supply chain issues. Myself, my closest friend and son have come to the awareness that the covid jabs were attempts to kill us and others. We did not have this awareness before covid and all 3 of us traveled different avenues to this perception.
However, I have only one long distance friend, who is also of the opinion that we must stock food, grow food, raise food. Nobody else that I know is taking this seriously. My son, my friend and my BIL recognize that they need insurance against the failure of the dollar as world reserve.
I think there have been some real breakthroughs in people’s cognitive dissonance and normalcy bias. Everyone recognizes things ain’t right. I think most realize that the economy is not strong in spite of the lies.
However, very few realize that the government is trying to destroy MAGA or themselves. Very few recognize that the rule of law has already been discarded. That just has not registered in the middle class that I run in. HOWEVER, my Walmart has installed shelving with gating that requests assistance and alarms already for certain items. My Home Depot has some things locked like generators. There are lower class souls in my neighborhood, my friends are from a different neighborhood.
I have understood what’s going on for literally decades. I have watched my family, my parents and sister, in particular, become more and more left wing. I have tried for years to get through to them.
They went from being not much interested in politics to being daily viewers of MSNBC and CNN. They hate Trump with red hot passion. They are terrified of climate change. They were terrified of Covid, masked up, vaxxed and boosted up and uninvited me for Christmas because I didn’t get vaccinated.
Every conversation leads them to bring up a left wing talking point and they get angry if I don’t agree with them. Changing the subject is the only way to avoid angering them.
They cannot be reasoned with. They believe everything they hear from the left wing nuts about Trump and his supporters.
I am at a loss. My parents are in their eighties and if I want any sort of relationship with them, I just have to bite my tongue.
My in-laws (both in their mid-80s live with my wife and me. The father-in-law is not political but the mother-in-law thinks MSNBC is the gospel, so Trump and anyone who likes or agrees with Trump is the devil. Point out anything about Biden and she won’t believe it.

My stepdad was in the trucking industry, as an Original Equipment Manufacturer –
when he retired as a Sales Manager of a company that made air horns for trucks, he and my Mom started their own business – the horns in the photo were put on that board by one of his reps, who built that board and used it when he made calls – he could demonstrate the great sound those horns made! When that gentleman – a very nice man, Mom told me – passed away, his wife shipped that to Mom and Dad and Dad kept it in his office. Really nicely made with the various available horns (at that time) attached, with hoses and valves, just connect them to a compressor and then try out the various horns for the customer.
You know, like in the movie “North by Northwest” when Cary Grant runs across the highway and falls down in front of the Freightliner.

Much more than 6 years ago, but most tend to look away…. it’s mind poison, even though it accurately reflects our current situation. They will vote for Pres Trump, but most tend to cling to an illusionary sense of normalcy.

The “abstract” concepts – I’ve been aware for awhile with several points of reference but now most of the blanks are filled in. For others, I think they’re tired of hearing about it, it’s too uncomfortable. The clock is being ran out.

Word of mouth can only go so far, we need a simple website with memes and flow charts – comprehension is the goal, so it needs to be digestible in short tidbits. Tall order I know, but doable. I’ve learned to read your work in a way that keeps me plugged in due to layers (years) of exposure, but I think the normies don’t have the attention span to do so… it’s much too vast.
How to grab someone’s attention and hold their hand and walk through the progression to become aware of the corruption has a number of levels.
For me, it takes the work of an artist like Sabo to initially point out the absurdity.
Then it takes the headlines of the Babylon Bee to predict the future.
After that, the treehouse explains how it’s actually happening in real time.
Personally, my circle knows the corruption and most of the players. What comes up most in our discussions – is what the hell are we supposed to do? What the hell CAN we do?
In my family, extended family, and friends (mind you, I have significantly tightened my circle since the 2016 elections and then, more so, on Jan. 6th), I would say the breakdown is as follows:

Most importantly – I live a lifestyle that exhibits how seriously I take our situation. I got out of the blue city, out of the blue state, many years ago, and into a rural lifestyle where my rights are respected, far away from crime, and mostly far away from the worst of the political games. I work at self-sufficiency in case shite really does hit the proverbial fan across the land (“kill the boer!” comes to mind). Anyone who knows me knows what I stand for and what I believe, just by my actions. I don’t have to blow that trumpet any more, unless asked for “more trumpet please”. I make sure that my knowledge is deep and wide, but I don’t go around spouting off.
During the covid hysteria, I took a stand. It was really simple. I thought it was mostly cow patties and said so to everyone I knew. But, I also had read through quite a stack of medical studies that showed me the way. The medical establishment, writ large, were lying to Everyone. Then, I shut my mouth and just lived my principles. No masking, no shots, no doctor visits, no whatever they demanded. If an establishment forbid entry, so be it. If a family member forbid contact, so be it. I wasn’t budging. It’s the same now.
Our country has gone to hell in a handbasket.
An election was stolen in broad daylight.
The persecution of innocent people continues (Stalin, Mao, Biden – no difference).
The government is walking us straight into WWIII.
A country that wholesale rejects God and His wisdom is doomed.
Only a miracle will save us.

I appreciate your trumpet Sundance and I will assimilate your information into my brain. When asked, I will inform everyone I have influence over. I can double dog guarantee you there will be an Internet outage as we move into election time – via NameYourPoison – war, EMP, lies, fabrications, whatever. I think it’s important to be well informed NOW, well stocked, well armed, and a prayer warror. I don’t think the third monkey has a chance unless the Lord intervenes or returns.
Little things like pointing out the lies works but the most effective for me is to send links to what SD writes. I do get responses back from that.
Our closer community is more aligned with us than I thought but the larger community around far less so. My daughter and her family is with us but I can’t convince my brother he is being fed lies by his narrow list of news sources.
In answer to the average knowledge I am finding more are aware than I had previously guessed. However the apathy appears to be the biggest hurdle or feeling of why bother it won’t change etc. I do believe many are becoming increasingly aware of the corruption. As for what means of communications I am troubled by this. I don’t have a better solution. I assume internet services will go down perhaps entirely for population or just according to how one votes. I am going into my neighborhood and community trying to encourage people to pay attn.

Some people just don’t like President Trump. Whether it’s tweets or just his personality they just don’t like him. ( NOT me I love him). Even some conservatives. I try to tell them that he ( no one ) is perfect. That you have to take the good with the bad. They just shake their head.
What works best for me is I simply ask them if they really believe Joe Biden got 81 million votes. Usually they won’t respond but I can tell they are thinking.
I think we have to take the focus away from Trump the man, and to Trump’s battle with the Uniparty. I also think Covid makes a great vehicle for awakening people, as it touched everyone and its lies, particularly around the vaccine, terrorized everyone.

I am a CNA who works with Seniors, in their homes to help them accomplish Activities of Daily Living, ie. shower,dress, take meds, shop, cook and clean, whatever they need to stay in their homes.

All of them watch CNN or MSNBC.
All of them have Caseworkers that belong to Public Employee Unions.
All of these Caseworkers for the past year have asked all my Seniors , “Are you registered to vote?”
Even my Independent registered Father voted for Biden in 2016!
He says he will never vote for Trump, “He’s a criminal” but lately he has said he isn’t going to vote for Biden in 2024.

One tidbit I left out is that our family has known for decades that our government is corrupted. My husband learned a great deal during the Viet Nam war and I, along with my 6 siblings were educated by our parents at a very early age around the kitchen table at supper time; 6 o’clock news time. My Dad never had a love for our government because he and his job(s) were usually targeted by the government, one way or another.
Since we are retired, we don’t socialize the way we used to, however, our friends understand, some more than others and they are participants in this site and others.
The neighbors I have been in contact with know much and understand a great deal.
Why, even my 96 yr old neighbor, told me recently that “Kemp is bought and paid for by the Chinese government.”
I find it fun and interesting when shopping, bumping into people who want to comment or start a conversation about the price of food, etc…usually I come up with a comment, i.e. …..”They want us to eat bugs…” or “They want to kill us..soon..”..
They usually chuckle, shake their heads and agree and comment accordingly.
So..like I posted earlier; the more pain inflicted upon people, the more awake they become.

My own continues to be awakened, thanks to CTH. I have a small group of 3 friends (all 70ish women like myself) who are fully awake. One is an activist trying to reform our local corrupt politicians; one no longer wants to talk about it; and one goes off on diatribes and always ends with ‘well all we can do is pray about it’ sigh. I know there is a larger group of people in this county who get it; one man told me so and said, ‘There are a lot of us, but we are quiet.’ They have likely found, as I have, there is no use trying to talk to people about the truth. They get angry and combative, refuse to believe anything I say. I have lost many friends over this. All I’m thinking now is the day will come when I say ‘I tried to tell you…’ My own husband, before he passed on 5 years ago, didn’t want to hear anything about it anymore. I can’t imagine what he would think now that things are so much worse.

MAGA or conservative news is not in the MSM. You have to seek it out like arriving at the CTH. I even forget how I found this website. When I say the MSM that includes product advertising, bait click articles, streaming channels, local news, sports, movies and of course the cable MSM. All facets have ‘progressive’ messaging, subtle and not so subtle. Our ‘kids’ are way past school age but from what I’ve read the leftist indoctrination in universities is reaching into elementary schools. The person who doesn’t seek out MAGA perspective will through various sources be hit by 95% progressive narratives whether they know it or not. Then you have the cable news devotees who are hopelessly lost. MAGA does not control the channel. The elites do. And the channel is a cavernous echo chamber.
Most of my family are Trump supporters. One cousin is doomed to the Democrats as he’s a lost cause. There’s no convincing him. But the rest have seen the light and will continue to be enlightened by me as I use CTH and other references, including memes. I am on Truth Social. I use CTH exclusively to spread the word about what is going on in our government and what is happening with DJT. I just explained to my sister the Blinken quote about Putin and his opposition. Than it dawned on her.

My family are all hard-core communists, though they don’t see themselves that way. We barely speak anymore. It hurts, but I will not compromise on the truth, and they won’t compromise on what they believe to be truth. I don’t see all of this having a good ending. Luke 12:51-53.
Some of my co-workers seem to get it, but we recently had a “trans” join the team, and they all stumble all over themselves to call she “he.” Immediately upon her hiring, I told my bosses that I will not comply, and mentioned that the Virginia Supreme Court just ruled that employers cannot compel speech, which was a warning shot that they need to be concerned about lawsuits from me as well as from the girl pretending to be a boy. And this is a job I love with owners that are good people. So far the girl who wants to be a boy has done a very good job, and she’s told everyone she’s “trans” except for me. Some little bird probably advised her not to do so.
I also told my bosses that I would not comply with any vaccine mandate and would walk immediately if one was required. It never happened. Unfortunately, both owners got vaxxed and boosted and have all kinds of weird health issues now.
I guess my point, my trumpet, is to stick to the truth and be ready to risk everything for it. If that means losing relationships or employment, so be it. All of this is temporary, and I will only bend my knee to the Lord.
N.FL here, amazing how many people really want to talk about what’s going on in the world, and I talk. People come up to me at grocery stores, school, church everywhere and ask do you feel what’s going on and then we talk. I give them a little of this and a little of that and it takes off. First I tell them about this website, that it has great hurricane info. Then it goes to you really need to look at these sites and there they go. Great feedback, let their families know and so forth. Just talk to everybody. It works.
I have to say, I blame my ancestors and time for our knowledge of government corruption. My ancestry can be traced back to around 1066 in a place called Normandy, named after my ancestors the Norths-men, so that speaks to my families view.
To speak to other people. My neighbor very conservative, hired a guy to work around his farm, liberal. I was talking to him one day and he brings up one of those drone strike in Russia that hit a high rise in Moscow. His view, Ukraine is just about to kick Russia’s rear end. I stepped back and said ‘REALLY’ you believe that. I pulled out my trusty pocket computer with the world at your fingers and showed him pictures of blown up cities tanks that we sent the Ukrainians and Ukrainian soldiers stuck in mine fields being blown up. Again I said really, you truly believe that garbage you see on CNNABCNBCFOX, no answer. Just blank stare.
The fact is there has always been people who believe the truth and those that believe lies and never the twain shell meet.

We may still have revolution in our memory, but it’s been a long pampered time between. Our politicians are not leaders, not self made men. The conservative firebrands are all women. I always paid attention to the issues so noticed when the national then local news (got worse when cable tv started taking local advertisers from local tv stations) stopped reporting on the local & national issues. I recall talking heads like Barbara Walters media, dismissing the polls in the early 80s that the public had lost trust in the media. What I have noticed is that especially since the 90s people are working longer & harder to support themselves & have less time to pay attention to the news, though they grouse about the news not reporting things they see happening all around them. I do believe many people have been awakened but not enough.. & think that is economically people are so afraid of losing their jobs time wise. I believe local news reporting is crucial or maybe a national entity reporting on what is happening across the country, some maybe local readers with good writing skills contributing local stories, maybe find ways to get more readers in their locales to read the site, it might even get people across the country to realize how big our respective problems are.

– In terms of family, there is a “head in the sand” quality, on the one hand, and willingness to imbibe the narrative on the other. Some don’t know because they don’t want to know, because if they knew, they would likely find it upsetting and pursue a course of action that would likely find frightening.
– More to the point, they lead stressful but successful lives and resent any effort to alert them to problems they don’t believe are solvable or if they are solvable don’t require their active participation and/or support.
– Others watch too much TV and are easily programmed, for example, to hate Donald Trump or, as another example, to get angry with anyone who refused the vax. As networked as our society has become, corporate media still has reach and power.
– I will say that the incessant lawfare against Trump presents an opening even against those who hate Trump. The oppression is undeniable and the argument that if they can do it to Trump, they can do it to anyone at anytime for whatever reason is a promising line of rhetoric: “Hate Trump if you must, but please don’t screw the community out of anger toward the man.” The establishment is desperate, and desperate people do stupid things that draw unwanted attention, so there is hope for jolting the average TV addict into awareness of the problem.
– As for friends and community, I live inside the DC beltway – a region about as deep blue as it gets – and the prevailing view is that Trump is evil and flyover country is ignorant, backwards, etc.
– The DC mentality is elitist in the extreme, overwhelmingly Democratic in partisan orientation, and resistant to fundamental challenges on ideological or policy grounds. They will be the last to figure out the proverbial jig is about up.

– I have always been alert to signs of corruption, but the establishment’s reaction to Trump really opened my eyes to the breadth and depth of it.
– CTH has been an invaluable resource in many ways, notably on the Russia hoax, the interlocking network of individuals and interests that comprise the Fourth Branch of government, and the interests that organize national economic policy for the benefit of the few at the expense of the many.
– As for the Biden crime family, colleagues and local friends just shrug their shoulders and often admit that Biden is a placeholder likely to be replaced.
– Such a response is undoubtedly revealing, but the expectation here is that as odious and sclerotic as Biden is or is perceived to be, even by the Democratic Party faithful, he will be bumped from the 2024 ticket. Besides corruption doesn’t matter as much as flyover country might think because smart people – like themselves – are ultimately in charge, presidents come and go, Biden’s critics are overzealous, and so on.
What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
– I don’t have much to offer, but perhaps CTH could explore forging a strategic alliance with other alternative media outlets in ways that could connect the CTH message with a larger audience.

I was talking with a woman, ‘stranger’ I struck up a conversation in a store, who said something like “Oh, I can’t possibly believe thats true! Its just too,….horrible!”
When someone is in true denial, such as being told a loved one has died suddenly, they almost always experience denial, the first word they utter being “No!” and about 60% of the time their initial reaction is to strike out physically, at the ” messenger” who told them the bad news.
I do encounter the ‘liberals’ like my sister, who ARE in denial, refusing to hear, much less believe the horrors we all see.
Can we ‘blame’ them,..really? Who amongst us hasn’t at some point WISHED we could “go back” to a time when we didn’t see the strings?
Of coarse, we can not. Denial is a mental defence mechanism, and as such it is like a cast; stabilising the broken bone, allowing it time to heal, and then the cast comes off, as its no longer needed.
“Red-pilling” is simply overcoming our denial, and gradually taking off the cast,…and it is inevitable.
Those who initially deny the sudden death of a loved one, and even ‘attack the messenger’ eventually, painfully are forced BY reality, to accept reality.
But until they are READY, and ‘strong enough’ to deal with it, trying to persuade them, with facts, logic, data etc. is pretty much a waste of time.
I believe, at this point that those who continue to ‘rely on’ MSM for their info, do so NOT because they believe it is “news they can TRUST”, but because they KNOW it is “news that won’t threaten them”, by challenging their wall of DENIAL.
I DO believe WE are seeing another wave of awakening, this time not “moderate” or “conservative” Dems, but actual liberals.
Jimmy Dore, Joe Rogan, Dr. Drew and a # of other ‘”liberal” talking heads are both guiding and reflecting the red-pilling of their audiences.

Recently visited my hometown (which interestingly has advertised here at CTH), so saw family and a few old friends.
Had one family member (by marriage) try to goad me into a cultural war when I refused to consider buying a pitcher of Bud Lite instead of another brand.
I simply stated as my reason that it was ‘weak-a$$ sh/t’ and that I prefer drinking something that has more potency . . .
Same person tried to get a rise out of me by blasting MSNBC coverage of the breathless talking heads salivating over another Trump indictment. I turned my back to the TV as I played a board game with my elderly mother.
Heard about two seemingly healthy people suddenly discovering myocardial issues and pulmonary embolism issues, as a friend said, ‘(A friend) thinks these are being caused by the vaccine’, and I said, ‘so do I’ . . .
Made mention to my brother (who had to get the shots to remain in a long-term position) about FrontLine Doctors, and as well in the previous mentioned setting, tried to be positive by quoting the stats that it appeared that 71% of these adverse effects seemed to be traced to only 4% of the vax batches, so just finding out which batch their shots come from could either give them some peace of mind or the impetus to follow some of the post-vax protocols as put forth by that group.
Also had to remind several people of the Smith-Mundt Act no longer being in effect and that propaganda is used to distract from what is really important — cited the whole submersible fiasco for emphasis.
I do see the bulb starting to shine into a few brains, albeit not a complete exposure, as it appears these gradual awakenings need time to manifest and be acted on, so I continue to pray for all to come into the light .
Most of our immediate family knew someone terribly wrong was taking place when Obama got his second term. The economy was bad, healthcare was dismissing and mist democrats we knew were not so keen on him serving a second term. The information continued to come out that pointed to a corrupt system was organized and in place. It’s been obvious since. The democrats in our circle are scared to open their mouths.
Plus it was so obvious McCain handed the presidency over to Obama.
A relative was surprised to learn there was cocaine in the White House when I told her. She only reads mainstream media (aka fake news). Fake news just feeds propaganda and omits truth to advance the left’s agenda.
I consider myself a realist. There are two major segments we will never convince/reach. One that is the largest group “I don’t care”. The other is the hard core Leftists. There is another good size group that understands that Government and Media is corrupt, but are stuck with the belief our legal system will save us. Many also believe that their friends and family are just not aware. In my opinion until the small group that is left from the above accepts the fact you must quit making excuses for others. Most who are in that “do not know” group are there because they choose to be ignorant. I believe you will only convert some of any group when it adversely effects them personally. An I do mean only some.
The Great Awakening accelerated after the COVID awakening and J6. All of my family and most of my neighbors are awake. My efforts are simple as I realize the power of word of mouth when pursued with all contacts during the day. My fields of fire include from the poor unsuspecting grocery store customers while waiting in line to the fellow walking his dog past the house. Simple references to the economy or drag queen story hour for children will always elicit an opinion which can lead to election interference and then segue into the not pretending story hour. My other effort is the only social media platform left for me which is gab. I only post political and always post TCTH to my 6000 followers. The purpose of my efforts on Gab are to promote awakening but more importantly to remind those who advocate violent revolution that it is the plan of the enemy for us to react. No reason to not keep powder dry though.
Can I get an Amen on not reacting? If you think the CCP does NOT have prepositioned insurgent cells ready to take down our infrastructure then you might take a look at the live fire rehearsals over these past months. The people I know are liberals and they’re still convinced that anyone who doesn’t agree with them is a hater, racist, etc..
Lately I detect a change. Without exception, they have either moved out, or plan to move out, of the liberal utopias they helped create. Have they decided that a sane border policy isn’t xenophobic? No, they know the country is headed in the wrong direction but they haven’t admitted that their own politics have contributed more than a bit.
Had an interesting exchange with one of these over RFK Jr.. This person was able to agree that he shouldn’t be censored and he was unfairly portrayed in the media. I could then connect this to Trump saying that in both cases, you would have to listen to what they had to say for themselves rather than rely on media. This person is more openminded than most liberals, so I think it’s possible they will listen to Trump some day.
We also had a discussion about 1/6 that got a tad heated, but I could tell by the slack jaw that my version of events that day rocked their world. Enough for them to consider that the story they’ve heard may not be accurate? Maybe. I’d say the door is cracked open, but changing minds/opinions is still far off.
But that is the tool that has given me limited success: taking something more familiar to their politics and trying to lead it to at least hearing what Trump has to say in his own words, without the hideous media warping perceptions. One entry is talking about how the D party has changed: used to be antiwar, against electronic voting, etc. and now it’s for all the things it used to be against. The left was totally against voting machines, so how can they fault Trump for the same opinions they held just a few years ago.
I also think it’s good to drop in the idea that time is running out for us to be a free country. Trump is talking about the urgency, that 2024 is for all the marbles, and that alone might get a few on the fence to think more critically about our choices. To end on a hopeful note, they despise Newsom.
I believe the trick in gaining converts to reality is not in trying to convince them through debate, but rather to become a presence so undeniable that they will begin trying to find out what we’re all about by talking to us themselves. Then, rather than engaging in a debate, salt the conversation with a few salient facts, but mostly dwell on what a large and growing number of people are feeling the way you do. These people who follow the legacy media are crowd followers. In my own experience, I wear a MAGA hat when I go out. Even the hostile press would have a hard time explaining, if whenever they did shots of the American public they encountered a field of Red Hats.
#1 My family and friends are about 1/3 very aware, 1/3 somewhat to moderately aware and 1/3 in complete denial (hard core democrats)
#2 the somewhat aware group has been open to other sources of information and what the gov is currently doing to President Trump has opened their eyes even more. So they are moving in the right direction.
The complete denial group gets their news from AP, Reuters and NPR and think they are completely informed and the smartest people in the room. Every other source to them is not legitimate. And they hate President Trump because he is a “crook”. (Ask what law he’s broken and they get angry because they can’t answer it.)
#3. In my personal experience I’ve had the best luck starting with face to face conversations and if I felt I was able to open their mind to other possibilities then I would send links to articles and websites and the conversations would grow. This approach had worked for me.
If I just started sending blindly to people I get snarky conspiracy theory remarks and “I hate Trump” remarks with the end result being what I send just gets deleted without being read.
The problem is our individual trumpets are only so loud and we are competing against 500-gigawatt trumpets from the MSM. We get drowned out.
For example the narrative, now backed by an indictment, is that President Trump knew he was lying when he said the election was stolen. It’s all we see in the news and on our feeds etc. Very loud trumpets.
Low-info Joe and Jane now (if they didn’t already) accept the premise that the election wasn’t stolen and the proof is President Trump has been indicted for lying about it. The gov. wouldn’t do this if they didn’t have a case. (A version of the wrap around smear.)
Face to face conversations with our not so loud trumpets has worked for me. We can’t out scream the MSM but if we can change a few peoples perceptions and get it to compound e.g. I told two friends and they told two friends etc. we can counter act the loud MSM trumpets.
I’m still working on the complete denial group but the gov. brain washing psy-op is very hard to counter and break through.

Truthfully Sundance, I find the level of general understanding to be quite pathetic. Many have been convinced by social pressures and the constant media drumbeat to ignore politics all together, and the facts don’t matter so much. In short, as defined by Yuri Bezmenov, most Americans seem to have been thoroughly demoralized. Their sense of self-efficacy is pretty poor. Their notions about being able to derive true information from the universe around them have been significantly diminished. I was talking with one person recently, and I made a sideways remark about Viktor Shokin.
“Who?” They had never heard of the former Ukrainian prosecutor, nor the circumstances of his firing. That clip of Biden with his bragging about the firing at the CFR has been everywhere for years now.
The problem is two-fold, at least: On the one hand, what we term the “MSM” does its level best to conceal such things from the broader public. On the other hand, no matter the exposure, if the target audience has shut itself off from such information, no number of exposure points will penetrate the veil of self-imposed blindness. I find the latter to be the more difficult problem. If I tell him who Shokin is, and send him a link to the video, and maybe an article, the person still has to watch it attentively, understand what’s going on, and finally, read the article to get some sense of the thing.
Part of our problem begins with our terribly damaged education system. We don’t teach thinking skills, or analytical skills, and we don’t teach them how to question things, or even why questioning things would be a good idea. Instead, we fill their lives with easy buttons and salacious materials to keep them on a steady diet of useless bilge. Obviously, there’s not a quick fix for this that applies to the next 12 months or so.
The other thing I find is that one-on-one conversations can be most effective. Better, and more effective, is two-on-one, where the information is possessed by two and the uninformed is the one. This derives, I think, from the psychology of social interactions. When you’re having a conversation with two people who are telling you the same basic ideas, they have more impact, and you’re less apt to discard them out of hand.
The most important thing, however, is to spread the skill of detecting BS. I can teach it on a small scale, but it’s something difficult to get across on a broad basis. Most people are like your average Internet surfer: They don’t care about how the Internet actually works, or any of the mechanisms and protocols that keep it running, or how the data is conveyed from some server to their desktop or phone. They just don’t care. That’s the part that is hardest of all to overcome: How do I make another person care?
You try to show them how a thing affects them. You try to show them how they can have some influence over it. They must see a benefit to bothering about it, or they won’t. Most people don’t spend a moment “studying” anything once they’re beyond their formal education, unless it’s required to keep a job. Therein may lie the answer: To get folks engaged enough to learn what’s happening in the real world, you have to make it clear to them how their lives depend upon knowing. Most people can’t make those connections.
Let me take it one step farther, as it applies to places like CTH, or my own website. Screeching headlines don’t matter. People may read the headline, but there are so many screeching headlines that people have learned to tune-out such things. I’ve somehow developed the most amazing ability to listen to or watch a show without ever taking notice of commercials. It’s odd, and if the ad is trying to hard to reach me by screeching and explosions and so on, I’m more likely to shut it off all together. On the other hand, if you don’t find some way to get noticed, you’ll be lost in a sea of information.
This is why I think memes are so useful: They convey an idea, you generally have to stop just long enough to consume that information, and it’s visually engaging. You can impart emotions very easily. I think this is why good memes are such an effective tool, and why the left utterly sucks at the meme wars.
I found the memes that we used to see on Twitter a huge help; makes me believe that is one of the reasons non-X users can no longer see, or share, the memes.
Humor really is the way to open doors of the mind.
Call me old fashioned, but I like the idea of leaving pamphlets in offices, churches, etc., and billboards with lethal targeted questions as pointed as “Do you know where your children are?”, and with a website link or phone for information.
Also, short questions to be sent to state legislatures that hit the major points we need addressed immediately. I read so much, I somethimes have trouble distilling things down to the few most essential points with evidence that our legislators must know. Every pamphlet, billboard, etc should have an address or phone # to contact their legislators at the state level. I wish we were as well organized as the left. I love the sites that focus on specific msgs to state reps, that automatically provide the addresses and send them. Wish there was a way to make those sites explode for the public. I am expecting all kinds of manufactured obstacles in the next 12 months, from grid attacks, to empty store shelves, to gas fuel scarcity. I suspect those events will wake more people up. They will need information to understand what is happening.
Sundance, apply Occam’s Razor. Information that is based on facts, unvarnished, easy to read and concise will get through to low Information citizens. That is one reason why Trump was so successful using Twitter or X.
At some point the head in the sand is gonnna feel to much on the a$$.
