If those in two aforementiond institutions cannot see what the future will be if they keep hiding behind the log then they rightly deserve what awaits them. Everyone here needs to contact their State Secretary of State’s office and ask about rules for write-in candidates in their states (for local, state and federal races). While it is true that ballots for write-in candidates have to be set aside for hand-counting (and don’t you know that voter fraud would go in reverse: instead of ballot stuffing, I foresee several write-in ballots getting lost and not even making it to the SOS or county clerk offices to be handcounted)–there are rules for who can qualify as a write-in candidate (at least there is for Idaho). I presume each state is a bit different.
Even if PDJT doesn’t qualify in your state for a write-in, do it anyway: as Sundance says, throw sand in their gears as often and as much as you can……

Washington State also has write-in rules to follow if you want the elections officials to tabulate the vote. The candidate’s name has to be spelled exactly as specified in official write-in documents filed with elections officials.
We don’t have a Secy of State and there is no write-in. If you aren’t the candidate of a recognized national party you have to file an affidavit with the chief elections officer and a petition signed by at least 1% of the numbers who voted in the previous presidential Nov election no later than 90 days prior to the election. You can try to write-in all you want it will just be an under-vote.
First off, it’s the national convention which determines a party nominee. All a “primary” does is determine who will be delegate to the convention. Second, in most states the Nov election for Pres and Vice Pres is actually an election for a party slate of Electors. The name of the party nominee is permitted to be printed on the ballot as a courtesy. We just passed a law here tightening up the requirements for Electors, such that if they fail to vote for the party nominee they are removed by the Chief Elections Officer and replaced by alternate (we don’t have an office of Sec State).
So “write-in” in Nov isn’t a real thing, as you have to write in a slate of electors.

The alleged “crime” rests on proving, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the election was not stolen and that President Trump knew it was not stolen but falsely claimed it was stolen in order to attack the election through making people believe an untruth.
Every other court case brought concerning the rigging of the election was dismissed on procedural grounds such as lack of standing. No court has actually heard evidence on the question.
Here, we have a criminal matter, not a civil matter.
Not only does the government now have to prove a negative (it will probably try to rely on the certification by Congress as dispositive under the Constitution), but President Trump has key constitutional rights not available in a civil case.
He has a 6th Amendment right to confront and cross-examine his accusers, he has the right to subpoena witnesses in his defense, and he has the right to present expert witnesses in his defense.
In other words, unless Judge Chutkan denies him his basic rights (a possibility but one that would come at a VERY considerable cost to the judicial system’s credibility), President Trump can:
– Call Ruby Freeman to explain her actions that we all saw on videotape
– Call any number of experts to demonstrate how easily hacked the Dominion machines really are
– subpoena and examine the SLOGS in all five states that ceased operations at 10:30 p.m.
– Call and examine the Georgia election officials who lied about the water leak
– Call the Congresscritters who were prepared to present objections to the certification of the election as witnesses in his defense
– present the geocaching data for the mules
– call the Konnech executives
– put Chris Krebs on the stand
And on and on and on.
