Well, I guess that’s that. The top men in charge of investigating the cocaine that was found in the west wing of the White House have said it was too difficult to figure out where it came from. The case is now closed.
CNN — The Secret Service has concluded its investigation into the small bag of cocaine found at the White House and has been unable to identify a suspect, according to a statement from the US Secret Service.
Secret Service officials combed through “security systems” and indexed “several hundreds individuals” who entered the West Wing in the days preceding the discovery and were unable to identify a suspect, according to the USSS statement. The Secret Service said FBI lab results from the packaging found “insufficient DNA” and could not retrieve any fingerprints. “Therefore, the Secret Service is not able to compare evidence against the known pool of individuals,” a statement from the USSS said.
Investigators were also unable to identify the particular moment or day when the baggie was left inside the West Wing cubby near the lower-level entrance where it was discovered.
“There was no surveillance video footage found that provided investigative leads or any other means for investigators to identify who may have deposited the found substance in this area,” the agency’s statement said. “Without physical evidence, the investigation will not be able to single out a person of interest from the hundreds of individuals who passed through the vestibule where the cocaine was discovered. At this time, the Secret Service’s investigation is closed due to a lack of physical evidence.” (more)

WHAT IF … the white powder had turned out to be – Anthrax?
Let’s face it, that cocaine belongs to the Big Guy, Joe Blow.
At least one TV news story stated that it was “most likely a visitor” who left the cocaine. They really, truly do think we’re stupid. If they’re talking about public visitors going on tours, can you even begin to imagine a person stupid enough to go through WH security with cocaine in their pocket? The only “visitors” who may try it would be those who know they don’t have to go through security.
I visited the WH once when Clinton was president. I had to be wanded and empty my pockets. I walked through metal detectors, too. They went through my bags thoroughly. They asked me why I was there (as if visiting the WH to see what we pay for isn’t enough, as a citizen), all the while watching me very closely, probably for signs of deception, gauging my demeanor. I had to stand in line for a long time, a line that stretched at least a block along the street. I don’t know how it is now, but back then the wait would have given anybody plenty of time to decide that security was thoroughly searching people, so why try to bring contraband inside? That’s one issue, that they’re trying to blame the public. How insulting!
Then there’s the issue of the Secret Service themselves. They’re casting aspersions on them, too, implying that they weren’t thorough enough with screening. They’re probably also “influencing” the outcome of the investigation, forcing them to obfuscate about the availability of evidence. That also diminishes the Secret Service in the eyes of the public.
Why did the location of this “find” change at least three times? So that magically the coke could be “found” in a place with no camera coverage (if you believe that)? Media are also complicit. They know what procedures ordinary citizens must go through, so they must also know that only those who can waltz through without going through security could possibly have done this. Who would those people be?
I don’t remember a sniffer dog when I visited the WH, but that was long ago. I bet they use them now, after 9/11, but that would be for the general public.
They can’t allow this to be Hunter, because it would ruin his chances for that plea deal (maybe). They want it to be a “visitor” instead of an employee or staff because the FBI probably doesn’t have to get a warrant to interrogate, drug test, or give lie detector tests to such people because they’re employees. It’s probably in their terms of employment that any of that can happen at will, without showing probable cause. Ya think?

As for sniffer dogs, unless the dogs were cross trained for both illegal drugs and gunpowder/explosives, they would not alert to the coke,..pretty sure.

Who put the cocaine in the locker? Look at the surveillance tapes. It’s that simple! Some years ago when I lived in Nevada I had occasion to work in a casino counting their money. The counting area was under surveillance ALL the time. You could not scratch your ass without the surveillance seeing it. Now we are to believe that in one of the most important buildings in the world, surveillance people cannot look at a surveillance tape and tell who put an item in a locker. If this is so, the White House surveillance people need to be replaced with surveillance from any casino in the United States. They would do a better job!!!
