If Biden is pulled from the contest at some point in the next year, it would be of great value to have the organized alternate already well known to the public in various states.

At the direction of the Governor Newsom coalition, California has moved their state primary up to Super Tuesday in 2024.
Coincidentally (or not), it was this state move that recently triggered a controversy within the professionally GOPe executive committee in California. The California Republicans adjusted to this primary date change with a quiet attempt to modify the Republican distribution of delegates to a proportional method – mostly benefitting the likely second place candidate, Ron DeSantis, with a significant batch of up to 55 delegates even in defeat.
If the billionaire class, who fund the two private DNC and RNC corporations, were constructing a hopeful roadmap for a Newsom -v- Desantis objective, what would they be doing differently in California?

I am from a small, Red state, but am traveling through CA right now, having come down for family reasons. I have seen far more sentiment in favor of Trump and against the installed squatter at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue than I ever expected.

In my opinion, no one was more upset about the overturning of Roe v Wade than the RNC! It had been the wedge issue that they had used for decades to keep GOP voters in line. Whenever anyone would bring up any kind of economic issues, they would always rush back to “but we are working to overturn abortion laws so you have to support us”.
As long as both parties can keep the conversation on social issues, they know that people will vote based on their feelings on those particular issues. I think your Venn diagram needs some editing. Your 3 headers say focus under each. Without a doubt, focus should be under MAGA as those are indeed true areas of focus. But the examples of Democrat/Republican would be more accurately labeled “misdirection” rather than focus. Unfortunately lack of proportionality is one of the problems of symmetric Venn diagrams. Some of us always see size when looking at grafts and others do not. Here’s another thing that I think needs to be highlighted. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. It is obvious that RFK Jr has absolutely no path to the Democrat nominee. However, he is attracting small, independent donors that would normally be contributing and supporting Trump. While I like some of RFK’s politics, there is NO WAY that two populists will be running for president. People need to understand that RFK is not taking support, or funding, away from Biden. He is taking this away from Trump.
