According to the latest Harvard-Harris poll of GOP voters {DATA HERE}, since he made his official launch, Ron DeSantis is losing ground. Not surprisingly this was exactly what we predicted would happen once the bloom came off the ruse.
Things don’t get any better for Ron DeSantis if all the candidates drop out and leave him and Trump in a head-to-head matchup. President Trump jumps to 67%, and Ron DeSantis holds at 33% with all of the GOPe support coalesced. The familiar 4:1 ratio surfaces again.

You may be right that in the general election, Ted Cruz would support President Trump.
But so far he’s been shadow-supporting DeSantis and in the background softly opposing President Trump. In the midterm primaries, when President Trump supported someone, Cruz would tend to join DeSantis in supporting the other guy.

Then he proceeded to tell us that any Republican is better than a Democrat – that we should support all Republicans, no matter whether someone calls them a RINO.

In the Governor primary in 2018, all the Republicans in Florida (Both houses, Republican chairs, everyone) endorsed Adam Putnam with the exception of Matt Gaetz. Ron was headed to the dustbin. Gaetz convinced Trump to endorse Ron and he won the primary. Then in the tough general, Trump went to 3 rallies for Ron and he won by a mere 30,000 votes. But for Gaetz we wouldn’t even be talking about this guy.

Just to give some insight into all these irrelevant people running for the GOP POTUS position, I was listening to some show a few days ago, could have been cluck and bray, and they said Sununu in NH said that the other candidates for POTUS should not say they would pardon Trump because basically the reason for everyone running was to separate the Republican Party from Trump. This made complete sense to me. I still did not get why all the idiots were announcing they were running for President..well, b cause to them Trump is not a Republican.
