It was 34 years ago tonight when the Chinese government sent the Mongolian Army into Tiananmen Square to crackdown on the mostly student protestors.
It is against the law in China to recognize today, memorialize the dead, or even speak publicly of this bloody anniversary. Few people know the short and long-term political ramifications to this event which extended far beyond the borders of China.
Many people are familiar with this image:
However, not as many people are as familiar with the wide shot.
That’s some serious courage right there.
The June 4th 1989 anniversary holds a great deal of personal significance for those who witnessed the events. Many of us remember exactly where we were as the first reports started to leak out.
Few people know how most of the regular Chinese military refused orders to open fire on the protesting crowd. Hundreds of young Chinese military soldiers actually formed lines around the mostly student activists in an effort to protect them. The Chinese government eventually bypassed the regulars and instructed the Mongolian military divisions who carried out the orders.
No one really knows how many were killed, and even the families of the fallen were too scared to speak publicly.
Those who were lost live on in whispered memories of lore.
So many.
So young.
We remember.
…Then the tanks came….
I have never seen that last picture. Hard to respond…
Dear LORD GOD, have mercy on us all.
That is always an appropriate response.
Amen.
That one human could do this to another…and this was long ago….what, pray tell would they do today? (theoretically speaking).
Not long ago to me, Aggie.
I wept.
Me either raptors.
I remember it clearly.
To think only few men out of a billion people have instituted such tyranny.
What did they do to their people during Covid…?
Totalitarianism care not a whit for the “people”.
J6 prisoners and the killing of unarmed veteran Ashli Babbit were just a start. They hate us. They no longer need our vote. They control everything.
We are a Communist country now, most prefer to say Banana Republic, that sounds a little softer, but really it isn’t.
Right. Soften it up. So fitting for a country that’s grown soft.
The Long March is over, and we lost.
But our Lord God always wins. We abandoned His love, abandoned Him, and thus we shall suffer for our vanity and laziness.
That’s defeatist. I’m going with John Paul Jones- I have not yet begun to fight.
2024 will be the test. I expect a mighty struggle either way going on for years.
You are right. I really don’t think people actually believe what is going on in our Country. Soon something is going to explode, BIG TIME. They are NOT going to give up their power, because they get away with
stealing elections. Our Supreme Court did nothing, the Republicans, Senators, Congress, State and Local Governments the same.
I agree the vote fix is in for 2024.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2023/05/why_kari_lake_couldnt_close_the_deal.html
They no longer need our vote but they need our compliance.
They do not really control everything.
We The People are the ones that make things work day to day, week to week and month to month.
They can not be fed, clothed, cleaned or sheltered without us.
Gandhi taught the British that over 80 years ago.
They do NOT control everything. They have NOT disarmed Americans. They cannot win against an armed populous. Plus, we have God on our side. God WINS!
I think the world law abiding citizens should arm themselves. Storm a coming.
They being the central banks that control the Intelligence Branch.
There’s more that show worse out there. Not a lot. But many. Gruesome. Sundance is sharing the PG ones.
But for God’s restraining hand the wickedness of the human heart would know no bounds.
A rare individual who will give up life and possessions.
A tyrannical government would never succeed in America with just a few million of these types of Patriots.
My limited rrading is no one knows his name, his identity or what happened to him, but from what I read, the CCP never figured it out, either.
He is just “the man that stood in the way of the tanks”.
Dutch, I wish I could find the image which, like the first one with masses of Chinese people, showed hundreds upon hundreds of German men at a Nazi rally…packed like sardines with their arms raised in tribute and obeisance to the monster that was Hitler.
And there in the middle of them all is one man, arms folded, refusing to give his obedience and allegiance, a slight smile (if I remember correctly) on his face.
His name is not recorded either. But I remember him.
And like the young man standing boldly and
unafraid(?) in front of that tank and who was no doubt “disappeared”, I give him my respect and admiration, both men examples of the very definition of courage in the face of overwhelming, crushing, inhuman tyranny…
…then wonder if this is our fate in the times to come.
His name is indeed recorded, as is his story: August Landmesser
Oops, here’s a photo for you, from the above article.
Defiant. Blatantly so.
Thank you Maquis, the photo finishes Betsy’s writing perfectly.
Thank you, my friend. I am not surprised that it was you who provided the photo of what I remember so well and which has stuck with me ever since.
These iconic images resonate and stay with us, even if we need to dig a bit to find them to share, they are already burned into our souls, as they should be.
What can I say…
Amen. Amen.
Thank you folks so very much!
You’re welcome, Dekester.
Once seen, never forgotten.
I thought Hitler was a staunch opponent of the communists. Do you not get the contrast? The communist leaders in China had to use non-Chinese soldiers to kill Chinese citizens. Hitler did not rally foreigners to kill Germans.
Yes he did. He had Austrians.
And what language do Austrians speak? Hitler was from Austria. It’s like England vs Wales. Hitler lead his people for good or bad. He did not enslave them and use foreign soldiers to maintain a tyranny.
What I was addressing was the bravery of those who would not submit.
Nothing else.
When we realize that being the last one loaded into the cattle cars means that we watched everyone else go first, early resistance is not such a hard choice.
Coming to that realization requires honesty though.
And SK, suspending our belief that it could never happen here.
The Chinese government did not want to make a martyr out of this man by identifying him. They would not allow him to live.
Like the unknown soldier, known only to God.
Tankman.
Having lived in communist and socialist countries, I have zero doubts about the man’s fate.
.
“Oderint dum metuant”
That is why they are so harsh in the J 6er’s its a test–better prepare because its coming to a theater near you!!!
Not tanks but lies rom Murserockkk and Sore Ar$$se money to buy hatred and push a lying narrative
Murduck and fraud fox TV crew
11 million patriots would make up the III%
One of the things the neo-Marxists in the Obama Administration, er, um, I mean the Xiden Administration learned from the history of the Tianmen Square revolt is that citizen resistance must ALWAYS be met with a disproportionately harsh and merciless response. Witness the persecution of the J6 protesters-some who were never even in DC.
Yet, we DO have a tyrannical government that is-at least for the moment-quite successful, and a cowed and dispirited American public that shows no gumption for displaying the courage those Chinese students did.
Has President Trump promised to pardon all the J6 prisoners? If so, it must be publicized!
He said probably most, he’s not getting over his skis inasmuchas the possibility, no matter how slight, exists that some genuine criminality was involved in some cases.
Yep. Here in Canada too.
That tactic didn’t work. Or at least it appears to have failed. Better to have a long term plan to take over the military from within. If 1 million of our bravest stand up and get quickly moved off the board, i.e. dead, then we have lost the war in one dumb move. There are many examples of this in history. At the right time I’m all for a fight to the death. But I don’t won’t to die for no reason. And I will not fight to keep the deficit spending ponzi scheme going, or the diversity is our strength myth alive.
“No greater love ……” saith the Master!
If we could organize….I am one!
I would be canon fodder at my age but I’m ready to contribute my all to a free future for America
As opposed to those we vote into office. When face-to-face with government tyranny, they choose opportunism and cowardice.
God bless our founders for writing the 2A. Flesh against tanks really isnt a fair fight. The massacre that followed the brave man stopping the tanks is a blight on human history. That China maintains favored trading status is a blight on American history.
Follow the money; from the chicoms to …….. who?
To Joe Biden.
There quite a bit more than Crooked Joe living off CCP “donations”.
And China Mitch and his GOPe cabal.
To George W. Bush.
According to Posobiec’s China Files broadcasts, the CCP leadership was very shaken by the unexpected protests, the potential disloyalty of the armed forces, and the strength of the protests, which started out in response to the death of a particular Chinese leader.
Things were shaky.
Then George Bush showed up and deals were made. Look where we are now, with our manufacturing over there using pretty much slave labor, and every segment of our society infiltrated by the CCP and their minions.
Were the horrors of Tiananmen Square orchestrated by the CIA and the Bush family in a classic example of Hegelian crisis, response solution?
This recruiting video pretty clearly intimates that the US caused the ev et nt we call Tiananmen Square.
Watch.
Keeping in mind that nothing comes to our attention from China by accident, and also bearing in mind the highly emotional impact of the events – every American knows about Tiananmen Square while also knowing exactly zero about the background of it (ask any American American what Chinese leader had died, or what had happened in China the prior twenty years and I promise you will get a blank stare) – ask yourself, why do I “know” what I know?
It is the same question I ask people upset about Khashoggi- out of all the brutal murders of shady characters in the Middle East, why are you outraged over that particular one? They just express outrage because they only “know” that what happened is terrible. They know because it is an emotionally laden mind implant. Nothing more, nothing less.
So, while we can all without hesitation condemn the CCP, who would massacre thousands to hold on to the reins of power, will we also equally condemn the CIA and Bush and Kissinger for arranging a massacre to improve their bargaining position in shaping the next three decades?
CIA is controlling the CCP and North Korea.
Of course we condemn the CIA.
Don’t forget the Bush Family!
RINORATS / UNIPARTY
Living and working in Seattle when the very first WTO riots happened in 1999, in response to Bill and Hillary Clinton selling “Most Favored Nation” status to the Chinese, in order to secure their re-election in 1996, I wonder what has happened to all of those young ideological students marching for human rights? At the time, we thought they were out of control thugs, and certainly many of them went after small businesses and regular citizens who had no part in the fight, but a handful of them understood what was happening a world away and they didn’t want it to come here!
How ironic that Antifa took over six city blocks in Seattle in the summer of 2020, supposedly continuing the same fight, but wearing Nikes and carrying iPhones, all of which were made by slave labor in China! Even the activists have been radically dumbed down in the last 25 years!!
Purposely dumbed down!
Agree 1000%!!
Before Antifa was Antifa, they were called Black Bloc. 1999 WTO riots was their coming out party. Before that you they would start fights at regular protests – peaceful, lefty protests. Progressively they became more violent, breaking windows and whatnot. They morphed in to Antifa. What happened to all those fun loving rascals from Seattle 1999? They are most likely Antifa leadership, in jail, or dead.
Before Antifa was Antifa , it was the German Antifaschiste, from the 1920’s and 1930’s. Same flag.
They just expanded to the US.
They’ve been around in the US for quite some time but were a rather moribund bunch, so Zero imported leaders straight from Der Vaterland to whip ’em into shape for his war on America.
Facial recognition software has confirmed that some of the Antifa here in America were the same as rioters in Europe.
They were flown in.
They are heavily trained in hand to hand combat.
Activists, my foot! Oppotunists!
Face it, that the U.S. maintains itself is a blight on human history.
FDR normalized “relations” with the Soviet killing machine, AKA Stalin’s Ukrainian famine
And now it becomes crystal clear why the Left and our government are attacking the 2A!
Flesh against tanks not fair? Wait until you see the second amendment against drones at 3am shooting incendiaries into rooftops. Thousands at a time and impervious to AR-15s. If we loose control of the military it’s over.
The 2nd amendment is stil IMPORTANT but not to fight the military. Their technology is too advanced now.
That’s what the naysayers said in 1776. We were losing to the Taliban goat farmers.
Read the book “Unintended Consequences “ for a primer.
Circling the drain, I think it was Kissinger that said , “It used to be easy to control a million people but hard to kill, now it’s easy to kill a million but hard to control. Historically only a small percentage of a population will fight. So to maintain control you have to cull the fighters out periodically. Be careful that the ptb don’t trick our strongest and bravest to act prematurely and get culled.
We’ve already sat back and lost the media and the schools & colleges. If we lose the military pretending that we’re all one people, it’s over. Your not fighting drones with AR-15S. Go look at some of the new robots on the internet. And these are just what they’ve allowed out into the public domain. We either control the military or the military will control us. Keeping the US military patriotic America first and sworn to the constitution should be priority one.
M. Phillps: The Viet Minh and Viet Cong defeated the French, and then the Americans, without much armor and without aircraft. The communists in Vietnam had manpower, camouflage, the jungle and commitment to a cause.
The 2nd Amendment is that we have the same weapons of war as our Government. It was not about guns, it was about weapons of war that governments use against their people.
They took his life, But they could not steal his honor.
No, I don’t believe they did, actually.
If you have info saying otherwise, please share.
All the dead bodies all around – yet you think China was kind enough to spare this poor soul. While we don’t know any information about what happened to this man – we do have on others. People against the CCP have been abducted and tortured. Worse, so were their immediate family members. There are many documented accounts of this.
In addition, how have the Uyghurs been treated? Oh, you don’t know too much about that do you.
I know the EU is totally CUCKED but c’mon man. Stop reading and believing govt propaganda.
Coca Cola partners with the CCP using them as ‘labor.’
When I found that out a few years ago, I sold every share of stock I had with them.
Old article about US companies using Uighur forced labor
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2020-12-03/forced-labor-in-china-s-uyghur-camps-taints-nike-coca-cola-and-big-u-s-brands
I also read he was killed, then and there shortly after the photographs surfaced around the world, but to this day it is a mystery of what really happened to this person after the cameras were turned off:
https://www.cntraveller.in/story/happened-tiananmen-squares-tank-man/
One wonders if he was one of the bodies in the street in that last picture……..?
I used to think that also, but he lived. See my down thread 18 min video of the event. Tank Men stands, then gets up on the tank, then several students wisk him away to safety, alive.
There would be no place that this man would be safe from the Chinese government .
Are the young Chinese men of military age coming across the southern US border illegally from Mongolia?
Maybe some.
You are definitely on the right track, they will be doing the oppressing our own troops wouldn’t.
They can TRY,…
If it ever comes to that, I don’t think the federal government will have the tax $$ to pay them.
Who would pay taxes only to get killed by those taxes.
Throw sand in the gears…
Who is John Galt?
When you take in and preposition savages to be mercenaries, not paying them, or feeding them, is what empowers them to take what’s ours, no instructions required.
Just when we find ourselves struggling to even find food for our families, we will have Berserkers roaming neighborhoods and taking what they please.
This is why these people are coming from more than 140 countries, there are literally NGOs, read that as Derp State agents, in the worst countries with the worst cultures in the world, to include those that accept the practice of cannibalism, handing out tickets for passage to Central America.
The moment their Utopia-R-US debit cards cease to function, and the shelves are bare, we are on the menu.
What I remember is when the local Chinese military hesitated to fire on the student protestors, the government brought in strangers (Mongolians) to do the horrible deed. But it wasn’t anything about the Mongolian people per se. Just human nature. It’s easier to get people to kill strangers than neighbors, family, local community.
That and they spoke a different language, they couldn’t understand the words of those they were sent to kill, so couldn’t be dissuaded by their pleas and arguments.
The communist taken Cuban government too brought in Mongolians
to fight and repel the anti communists. Just 90 miles away…
Mongolians were known for being a brutal and warlike people. Descendants of Genghis Khan.
The British sent German Hessians to fight the colonists. It’s a longtime practice in war.
The Tatars were Mongolians, as well. Barbaric peoples.
And who are the Tatars today?????? Literally.
Just like it will be easier for faceless bureaucrats from the Ministry of Silly Walks to gun us all down. Reg Army may hesitate.
Unity defeats tyranny: there is no defence against it.
If every man, woman and child in China had simply joined the protesters, all of the tanks in the World wouldn’t have made any difference.
Without UNITY, resistance is futile, and the tyranists are well prepared to put down any armed rebellion of a small, dedicated portion of the population.
WITH Unity, arms are unneccesary. See “the singing revolution”.
WE are still building towards UNITY, and every day, more and more of the population are joining our ranks, and finally are not refusing to see what is,so apperent.
Hence,..”Patience, Francis”,..we aren’t THERE,…YET. But we ARE moving closer, and accellerating.
Thanks, Dutch! I need your positive spirit.
Unity is how Ghandi won India as well. We must support and come together behind President Trump. It is our chance of surviving. We are down to the wire now.
President George H. W. Bush kowtowed.
Did he? Or did he arrange a deal the CCP couldn’t refuse?
Kowtowed? The Bush family has been involved in nefarious activities against us since at least the 1920-30s with Prescott financing Nazis and having their accounts suspended.
So true dutchman.
We also do not talk about our resistance efforts online too much.
It is not a good idea to let the enemy know your plans.
God Bless America
Sometimes the good guys win. The same date as Tiananmen Square – June 4, 1989, Poland broke free from communism –peacefully via the Solidarity movement.
Millions of Patriot citizens occupying DC singing our National Athem repeatedly until they Get the message might make a dent, it’s a beginning. Singing our love , care and our collective concern in Peaceful “hear our voice’ may make a dent. We’d all be arrested and gulaged but staying silent is not ok either.
Today is also the 29th anniversary of Marvin Heemeyer’s last stand against the corrupt government in Granby, Colorado.
People can only take so much.
Killdozer
In China they call it January 6th
Reminds me of the People’s March in Manila when hundred of thousands of people marched to protest the assassination of Benigno Aquino by then dictator Ferdinand Marcos. Thanks to the US, a bloody massacre was avoided.
And now the Filipinos forgets the past by electing another Marcos as president. Hopefully history doesn’t repeat itself.
No. It was the faithful Catholics praying their Rosaries. Many miracles were observed. The US had squat to do with getting Marcos out.
Mabuhai.
Mexicans elected the bloody & brutal Santa Anna to be president of MX ELEVEN TIMES.
Like they say, it is who counts the votes….
I wish anyone else had written this but the person most responsible the J6 peaceful protesters being jailed and several killed as they protested in the capitol.
Piglosi is a hypocrite. She does not favor democracy. She favors war. SPIT.
Pelosi Statement Marking 34 Years Since Tiananmen Square MassacreJun 3, 2023 Press Release
Washington, D.C. – Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi issued this statement marking 34 years since the Tiananmen Square Massacre, which occurred on June 4, 1989:
“Thirty-four years ago, the world witnessed one of the greatest acts of personal courage of our time. Ordinary Chinese citizens – unflinching as they stared down troops and tanks – took to the streets, peacefully demanding their basic rights and defying an oppressive regime. Though Beijing brutally crushed their protests, it could not break their spirit, which is an inspiration to this day.
“Over the last three decades, it has been my privilege to lend my voice to speak out for human rights in China and demand accountability for the Chinese Communist Party. Tragically, the CCP has only accelerated its campaign of atrocities: jailing dissidents who dare to speak out, committing genocide against the Uyghur community, intimidating the people of Tibet, undermining democratic freedoms in Hong Kong, threatening the Democracy in Taiwan and more. Importantly, there is a broad, bipartisan, bicameral consensus in the Congress to shine a bright light on Beijing’s behavior.
“In 1991, two years after the massacre, I stood in Tiananmen Square and unfurled a banner that read: ‘To those who died for democracy in China.’ Today, Beijing must know: the world will never forget the martyrs of Tiananmen Square.”
https://pelosi.house.gov/news/press-releases/pelosi-statement-marking-34-years-since-tiananmen-square-massacre
The disconnect is stunning.
My jaw literally dropped when I read this.
See my comment above.
How much has she personally profited, or her husband, through US company use of Chinese labor?
Think about that, then read that statement again imagining it issuing forth from the tongue of a laughing, lying, duplicitous snake who specializes in wrap up smear.
It will ring a little differently.
The police attract one of the highest percentages of psychopaths. They are attracted to being able to kill people legally.
Surgeons also have a high percentage of psychopaths. Attracted to cutting up people for pay.
I knew a surgeon who said that whenever he was cutting up a person and cauterizing the wound, it “smelled just like a juicy steak” — and he would often go to a steak restaurant right afterward.
We’ve learned from the masking and injections that most people will do whatever an authority figure on tv tells them to do.
Sad that the Chinese people weren’t able to throw off this oppression.
It’s other Chinese — paid by the government — who are willing to enslave them.
Reminds me of the low paid bureaucratic lawyers at the DOJ and the low paid FBI agents.
Maybe they compensate for their low pay by getting a power high by oppressing people.
It seems that very many people don’t want to be free.
They want to do what they are told. That’s how they feel safe.
“Low pay,..?!”
They got to University (the most expensive, like Georgetown, Harvard, etc) on student loans, then get a gummint job, which puts the requirement to pay the loan “on hold” and after 10 years OF gummint service, the loan is “forgiven”; they don’t have to pay it back, at all.
IIRC, ALL FBI agents have Law degrees, so do the math.
Do you know any companies that give out $100,000 “retention bonuses” for 10 years of working for the company?
“low paid”, my *$$!
Not just law degrees and govt jobs, as many med degrees for nurses, PAs, NPs have loans with same 10 yr cancellation.
Our taxes….
And after just a few years they make GS-13 or GS-15 pay scales with ‘step’ adders, COLA and ‘adders’ for high cost of living locations.
Try looking at GS-13 or 15 pay scales with 6-10 years service, much less longer times
It will blow your mind what they make. Sickening!
And they’re forever whining about how “low” their pay is.
a communist (socialist) state MUST oppress….the regime can only achieve power through force. it’s how socialism works….
not so pleasant contemplation: cccp builds a bioweapon and murders millions worldwide…a silent show of force.
notice no one in our government seems to have the courage to do anything about it. complicit, or just scared to stand in front of a tank?
God Bless America

Put ’em in jail and let ’em rot per our current regime.
We should be grateful, huh?
February 28, 1947. US ally Chiang Kai Shek’s soldiers turned the machine guns on the native Taiwanese, killing at least 25,000, and imprisoning thousands more. Often this slaughter is merely referred to as an incident.
The US backed Chiang, as did much of the media (eg Claire Booth Luce and Time Magazine) so the massacre was either not reported, or the casualty count grossly
underreported.
How could the staunchly anti-Communist Chiang slaughter his own people? That is, soldiers of the Republic of China slaughtered men, women and children of the Republic of China.
The Taiwanese thought that once Japan was defeated their problems would be over. But they were, in fact, just beginning. Chiang’s Guo Min Dang began seizing everything of value, and arrested anyone who stood up to them.
The spark occurred when a woman was arrested for selling individual cigarettes in violation of monopoly/tax
law. Chiang did not have to bring in Mongolians to do the killing.
Chiang was “our” guy so it’s all good
Perhaps the people killed by Chiang were Maoists ? I don’t know. I’m just offering a hypothesis here.
No. They were Chinese originally from Fujian Province who were under Japanese rule for 50 years.
Although they were second class citizens, the economy was good, they got a Japanese education, and Japan invested in Taiwan’s infrastructure. They did not have any idea about communism.
This is what our government seems to want to do to us deplorables.
Remember this when our military is purged of loyal Americans for 3rd worlders in the ranks and/or foreign troops on American soil.
It may be the only ‘knowledge’ that keeps you alive.
I truly hope America will have patriot with the courage of that young man and make a stand……and not die with a whine and whimper
I was on a trip to Washington DC that weekend, I’ll never forget it. Tianamen Square and the death of the Ayotollah Khomeini were the big news that weekend. We spent the day sight seeing and then went to a club, DC Metro on Saturday night. The DJ made an announcement that there was great news, the Ayotollah was DEAD. Everyone started CHEERING and dancing to Kool and the Gang, Celebration. I can’t recall if the tank man picture was that weekend or after but it did seem like it was actually possible the people were going to overthrow the regime.
Then I remember just a few years later…was it Bush 41 or Clinton…but not long after that it was decided we were “normalizing” relations w/China, I remember hearing about it on the news. I thought it was such a bad idea and so tragic. Like throwing away what happened that weekend into the ash heap of history. Just awful. And now here we are 34 yrs later paying the price for it. Or rather our kids and grandkids will be paying for it.
BTW-Ive never been back to DC since then and probably never will. We almost went in 2018 so our son could see his history but that was the last year I’d even consider going back.
Kathie almost my whole life of 66 yrs. I’ve wanted to visit DC for the history, but after 2016 I realized it’s not those places or monuments I wanted to see, it was the Patriots represented by those things I longed for. Since I was taught correctly (including the fact that Founding Fathers were slaveowners), I now realize that this history lives within me, and it’s up to me to grab those electronics out of my grandchildren’s hands and either impart that knowledge myself or search for a video that will.
Our own government is on this path. I pray to be that student. So brave.
‘Our’ current govt has more in common with Beijing than it does with American citizens.
Two weeks before the Tiananmen Square massacre my mother and aunt were on an ocean cruise, traveled to Bejing on a bus, then had an 8? course dinner in the Great Hall of the People, just across the street from Tiananmen Square. This was the first, and maybe last time, tourists were allowed this. She was shocked when she read about this.
How long will it be before the leftists start to do that here?
The main message at least to me is that they used foreign troops to massacre at Tiananmen. Now how about those millions of foreign illegal invaders of mainly young men? They are being illegally shipped in for what jobs?
Bingo. Doing the jobs Americans won’t do…
I always “especially” appreciate a thumbs up from Admin’s here. Ty WW.
Canada used men dressed in police riot gear to put down the trucker protest in Ottawa. Eye-witnesses heard them speak, and it wasn’t in a language that any of them recognized. Some thought it sounded Ukrainian.
Was wondering when the Truckers was brought up.word was tht it was Bolivia soldiers. Watched the truckers being brutalized and hardly a word about it on news everywhere. Many of them still in jail..There were hero’s and their banking accounts frozen and livelihood taken away. Scott King think tht was his name still jailed.. not a mention of wnt the truckers did to protest the vax. The Canadian gov corrupt and Justin is a soulless puke tht has destroyed Canada
Ukrainians were posing as MAGA on January 6th too.
Remember the traitors at the Council On Foreign Relations have been grooming totalitarian China for world domination by sabotaging & destroying America. China is made via CFR treason. Build Back Better for China first started with Ops in Africa after the opposition in China was doublecrossed by the traitors in America.

China kicked out Soros and his ilk. China will not kowtow to the WEF. Their main goal is to get the past two hundred years of western tentacles out of their business so as to run their own country.
They undoubtedly do not like the in your face surrounding we are trying to pull off.

I’ll never forget watching this happen. I was “chaperoning” my little brother’s post-graduation beach week, and so I was in the midst of the now-iconic late 1980s teenage party scene. I have often observed that I wish I had realized during the 1980s that I was living through one of the USA’s best decades, and that it was all downhill from then. Nothing better exemplifies the pride and innocent trust of my generation than the discussion that we teenagers had during this fateful day. I never contemplated the possibility that the time would come when my beloved country’s actions would be functionally indistinguishable from what we watched that day. We Gen Xers are resilient yet somehow our voices have been lost between the octogenarians that refuse to relinquish power and the generation following us that believes the loudest complainers are somehow always correct.
I suspect our version of Tiananmen Square is coming. When it occurs, I will be ready to stand for the principles I was taught made the USA a place and system of government worth defending. I have to believe that most of us will stand together.
Slowly people are waking up to the reality that this is the elite leftest dream.
The really scary part is that this kind of thing is coming to America very shortly. Just look at what they are doing the the J6 political prisoners right now.

A must watch. Gives timeline of events occurring prior to June 4th – the student hunger strike, Gorbeshov’s visit, interesting references to American freedom slogans. Much footage of the actual event including the Tank Man.
CNN reporting back in the day when they actually for the most part reported actual events. Watch the film so we won’t forget this event.
I was in Tiananmen Square in 1993. It’s overwhelmingly massive. Watching this video and having seen the massive square reenforces the truth that hundreds of thousands were slaughtered. It would have been massive. One report said there were 1.2M protestors. Who really knows, but the massive square and surface streets were filled with people so the deaths would have been massive too.
No tyrannical or totalitarian rulers will ultimately suppress a people who want to be free — including our own people today. The pendulum swings.
The video will play.
NEVER…EVER…FORGET…PATRIOTS … the RINOS funding DeSantis … only care about the Trillion$$$ coming from these Communist Chinese MURDERERS !!!
I believe it was shortly thereafter Soros was kicked out and there was a high level purge.
Perhaps this was an early attempt at a western led color revolution that was defeated.
Do us western media dupes really know who has been the good guys or the bad guys since 1945?
June 4, 1989 — Poland breaks free from communism on the exact day that China crushed democracy protesters in Tiananmen Square
.
“On 4 June 1989, the trade union Solidarity won an overwhelming victory in a partially free election in Poland, leading to the peaceful fall of communism in that country”

I do not understand what I am seeing in that last picture. Are those slaughtered bicyclists on the roadway? There are several bicyclists at the bottom who are leaving. I do not see anything I would identify as blood pools. Where is everybody else and everything else such as vehicles and tanks?
What are you trying to say?
Chop another gram up, Mike.
Mikegram, the last picture was taken during daylight, so likely the morning after the massacre which occurred during the night hours. If you want a clear answer to that last photo, the link below will likely provide it.
The Atlantic article is a photographic timeline of events starting April 22nd and thru to June 5. Most of the photos I had never seen. Info I didn’t know.. Here’s a brief description of just a few of the photos and key events in that article
April 22 –200,000 protest in Beijing – out of respect for Ju Yabang who had just died (a liberal reformer within the CCP)
In May the Tiananmen protests for political reforms began in earnest –million(s) seen in photos.
May 19 photo — look at the faces of the demonstrators –bursting with joyful optimism
May 19 photo –“”Beijing police parade through Tiananmen Square carrying banners in support of striking University students”
May 30 photo — Finishing touches on the 10 meter Goddess of Democracy unveiled in Tiananmen Square.
Notice her raised arm holding high a torch of liberty.
June 3 photo — pro-democracy protesters link arms to hold back angry crowd in order to protect retreating soldiers
photo – Mao Tse-Tung photo in Tiananmen Square after it was pelted with paint
events –student hunger strike had been going on for over two weeks by the time of the Tiananmen Square massacre.
June 4 photo — more than 20 armored personnel carriers BURNED by protesters to prevent them from moving into Tiananmen Square
photo — (warning) close view of dead bicyclers crushed by tanks
photo –I had never seen this view of Tank Man before. He’s in the background/left. In the foreground are fleeing people. Taken from ground level.

A couple of things that struck me from the Atlantic photo-timeline article.
First that for much of May 1989 there seemed to be mutual goodwill displayed between protesters and Beijing police with the police even joining in with their own banners. And even on June 3, some protesters moved to protect retreating soldiers from an angry crowd.
Second that in the face of massive military power, some of the protesters made a last valiant effort to fight the armed tanks. They managed to capture some armored vehicles and to burn over 20 trying to prevent the vehicles from entering Tiananmen Square.
As always, well done. You and my friend Bet would be great writers for a magazine like Chronicles, The New American, American Conservative etc
Hence FJB’s words about F-15’s and nukes that nobody on the Left wants you to remember. That FJB was only in jest.
Take the threat seriously. First step is to disarm the citizens completely, then next you’ll know our version of the Tiananmen Square massacre might just be happening here. Never say never will happen here.
IIRC, the massacre happened in the dark, while less camera/foreign reporters were around. As of today, nobody really knows how many were gathered at Tiananmen Square, and how many killed.
Sundance, thanks for the reminder of this most important date . The brave young man presumably did not survive. The memory of him and his fellow protestors will live on. Perhaps they will be celebrated in China when the communist state falls.
Supposedly this fellow got up on the tank and talked with the soldiers and then walked away. Supposedly this is a clip from a video which shows this happening. It irks me no end that I have no evidence of anything what went on and just have to take someone’s word who carries authority but lacks any real evidence.
From TheLastRefuge on Twitter: Pelosi: “34 years ago, the world saw one of the greatest acts of personal courage of our time in Tiananmen Square. Ordinary Chinese citizens – unflinching as they stared down troops and tanks – took to the streets, peacefully demanding their basic rights and defying an oppressive regime”
Sundance’s response: “In China they call it January 6th…”
An Absolute Classic!!!!!!!!!
The human is the most vicious and cruel animal to be placed on earth.
How very sad.
I remember what little we did learn about, the man standing up in front of the tanks especially. My heart was in my throat because you knew what was going to happen. I was in my 20s with a toddler, folding laundry in the living room, and would put the cable news or CSPAN on most days. I will never forget it
Democrats Are Communists Waging War On Our Republic

The RINOS who are Democrats pretending to be Conservatives need to be taken down first before we can face battle with the Democrat Party.
link not working 🤔
That last picture, burn it into your memory. Never forget it. Why, you ask?
That is what the left wants to do to you, and have wanted to do to you for more than 30 years. Never forget that Bill Ayers sat around with his ivy league educated compatriots in the Weather Underground planning the liquidation of 25 million Americans, Americans that would not go along with their revolutionary ideology.
This.
I like to believe that we have more in common with these communist born patriots than we ever will with the parasitic filth that inhabits our nation’s capitol today!
Rest well my brothers and sisters in arms!
Isn’t that what happened in Hungary in the 1950s? The regular Russian soldiers wouldn’t fire on the Hungarian citizens so the Soviets had to bring in Mongolians from the southern parts of the USSR.
I also remember about a million white Russians didn’t want to fight the Germans for the USSR. And the Roosevelt administration sent them back to the USSR in chains after the war.
This is always the end result of tyrannical government.
I remember it like it was yesterday. Our Pravda loved the images, especially the young man in front of the tanks. Then in no time it was on to other things.
Thank you, Sundance . . . the photo with the soldiers is very moving as well of course of “Tank Man” – I daresay the photos of the soldiers protecting the protestors are verboten, too.
“They’re not bad people, folks!”
“We remember.”
We’re next…
“We will take America without firing a shot. We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within….”
~ Nikita Khrushchev
We are there………
rigged elections are not going to prevent that here.
defunding the government will.
