Now you know exactly why Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had to launch without any public appearances in his home state, and run away from the state of Florida immediately thereafter. This doesn’t take any commentary to understand.
President Trump is beating Ron DeSantis in the state that knows the Florida Governor best.
Trump 52.5%, DeSantis 32.6%.
This should be embarrassing for Ron and Jill ‘Casey’ DeSantis, but their hubris will just ignore it.

Floridians see they were conned by Ron Desantis in 2022. The backlash is everywhere.
Black Americans are already aware China is full of racists who hate us.
What’s sad is how many White conservatives in America sound like the Chinese when it comes to Black people.
Fred
I’m glad you’re here for one. We need more conservatives from all races and ethnicities, including and especially those that are not only white or non-white, but have multi generational legacies in and allegiances to our country.
I don’t know for sure, but I think the Chinese hate the US and Japan period and their inhabitants. I think it is most probable that may have an even greater disdain for Blacks than other races/ethnicities. Seems that way.
I can’t argue that there are conservatives that may disregard or disparage Black Americans. But it my groups, it doesn’t come up that way from very many and/or very often. In my work environment with coworkers and customers, I have been pleasantly surprised the last few years by how often I hear comments from Blacks that either support Trump or despise Biden. It has been more than I would have thought.
There are discussions about issues affecting the Black community and what can be done to solve that come up some time. Maybe we’re right on some, maybe we’re not, but we try to discuss options that will benefit everyone. But I don’t hear hate nor disgust, at least in my limited experience.
What I do know is that the small amount of negativity I see or hear sporadically in my circles doesn’t come close to what I see coming out of liberal/leftist policies, actions, and comments. Not by a long shot.
Pandering, inciting, inflaming, counter productive, disenfranchising – a perfect example is the myriad degrading and bigoted statements that have came out of Biden’s own mouth over the years.
I hope and pray that you will consider joining or staying on the side of MAGA. We need all the allies we can get, and as DJT once stated regarding supporting him or the failed policies of the Democrats “what do you have to lose?”
How do many white conservatives sound like Chinese when it comes to black people?
Citation needed.
Yes, especially when so many blacks sound like Chinese when it comes to white people. The truth has no agenda.
Seems to me that White Leftist/Democrats really hold Black people in disdain, but I only go by what I hear and read and see.
What are you talking about? Do you not see what black people are doing to our country and what they think about white people? The racism is rampant and white people are in danger and a target!
Michael Pillsbury wrote about this in 2015. Read his book The 100 Year Marathon. It will scare the hell out of you to see how we have been mislead.
People the world over are hating on “The West” big time. It is ugly out there. I don’t hear too many saying it isn’t the American people, just their government. If we could fix it from w/in, we might have a chance to turn things around, but far too many are onto the CIA playbook that they keep using over and over, and its wars for greed. They are sick of it, and rightfully so. I am sick of it.
Comparing a choice between DeSantis and Charlie Crist for governor to a choice between DeSantis and Trump for president is a fallacy in logic. DeSantis has been a good governor and we are lucky to have him. His first term was won by only a handful of votes over a black, gay crackhead. His second term was won by a landslide by keeping the feds from meddling in the election process. Sure sounds like somebody is butthurt over that. Who would Sundance rather have as governor? Please tell us.
“His second term was won by a landslide…”
and then he went traveling to sell a book.
Every person who has ever seriously thought about running for the Presidency has pretty much done this. Even Trump preceded his political ambition with his own book selling adventures.
He ran for governor of FL knowing that was going to resign within months. The book was just a pretense.
I thought that was implied in my comment.
Winning the Governor’s race and being Governor are two different things. Ron has done an awful lot of campaigning, and precious little governering, since being re-elected. Not to mention the fact he lied about his intentions.
Nobody admits they will try to run for President until they are sure they will do it. Maybe he was sure, but nobody knows that but him. Trump never admitted he was running for President until he announced it. Even then, I wasn’t sure he meant it.
Sorry, but he took the Governor job knowing that the law prevented him from running for President while he was Governor.
Then he decides to run anyway, after a new law was passed just for him.
That was dishonest.
I don’t respect someone who would do that and will not vote for him, ever.
Has he really been a good governor? Look at his covid response, or the fact that he changed two laws in his state to run for president. Comes across as an establishment tool.
De Santis has been a better governor than Gavin Newsom has been but that is a low bar to hurdle.
I live in California. We gave the country McCarthy.
The problem with DeSantis is that we conservatives have spent the last half century being lied to by our wonderful “Bush” family Republicans , Chris Christy, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, even MTG is a washout.
That’s all. They are no damn good. The Republican party is a failure to its base and De Santis is in that mold.
The R’s and D’s are wings of the same bird! Go MAGA!
DeSantis governs a red state that has been red for thirty years.
How would you expect him to govern otherwise?
It’s not like he governs Wisconsin or Michigan and governs as a conservative.
He doesn’t get credit for governing a red state like a red governor should govern a red state.
First, I would say that there was a time when the majority of MAGA would have never voted for a Republican. Most working class guys always voted for the Democrats and their collectivist clap trap. Most Repugs don’t know what to make of that, and it scares them to think they depend on those voters now. This is not a defense of Repugs, but things do changes and the Repugs are having a hard time adjusting. They are not good with the Demcommies agenda either.
They are not only “good” with the Demcommies’ agenda but are complicit in implementing it.
One Dragon, two wings.
look at the rising insurance rates
look at the hurricane devistation that has yet to be addressed
(was just in Florida; drove through Pine Island, Coral Gables
and Ft Myers Beach).
And NEVER addressed the election machine issues, OR the insurance crisis. And now we are in hurricane season.
Don’t forget the Establishment money that’s backing him. He’s a tool for the globalists
Look at who gave him the money and you will see where his loyalty is! It isn’t to we the people! If he wanted our vote, he would wait ’til 2028! Possibly be VP for Trump for 4 years. Money sure does expose a person’s innards, no?
Exactly So!
I don’t know whether DeSantis is legit or not, but I guarantee he is a damned sight better than my Governor. I guess it just depends on your perspective. Maybe his opponent would have made a better Governor. No?
Yup
Nobody made those comparisons. Not sure which article you think you’re commenting on. The article is comparing Trump and DeSantis support in Florida for their respective presidential runs. Its not talking about who should be governor of Florida at all. Your comment reads like it was written by some AI bot that just spews a bunch of crap in a format that pretends to mean something.
DeSwampMonster has proven nothing good. Done very little window dressing…
Nothing worth taking on another high cost bought toy
boy.
NOT Able to
OUT-PERFORM Thuh Biden or Boehner’s toy boy McCarthy.
No Thanks. Enough of it already!
another one?
The landslide that made him want to leave, reach for more, wasn’t satisfied. Also wasn’t loyal to the votes who thought they were voting for him for 4 more years, not 6 or 7 more months.
He’s been campaigning for a Year Now!
Endorsed Joe O’Dae a year ago bcz Joe promised to block President Trump from running for ’24.
…. (Joe from Colorado lost his Primary even with DeSwampMan’s help. Or bcz of it.)
Haha! Lost his primary!
Chris Christie won his second term as Governor of blue NJ by a landslide, too. Then he abandoned the state to run for President, and, despite lots of soundbytes that impressed conservatives in his first term, Christie ended up being a sh*t Governor who helped grease the path for Cory Booker’s national political career.
Ron DeSantis is every bit the craven opportunist Chris Christie was/is.
Very valid comparison.
Chris Christie is a bloviating bag of wind. His ego is as big as he is if he thinks he has the slightest chance of winning anything.
It isn’t hard to be better than the other 49 worst Governors in our Once Great Nation’s history. That is a pretty low bar to step over. What hurt our butts is ron! hasn’t really passed one law that will actually help Floridians in any measurable amount. CRT and DEI are still being taught in Florida schools. The dragsters in front of kids law is common sense that every other governor (R) and (D) would’ve supported 10 years ago, it isn’t that groundbreaking. The guy was supposed to try to Fix Florida First and he did nothing of the sort. Lord knows it would take more than 8 years to get us squared away.
He actually isn’t better than all 49 other governors. He’s as good as Jeb! Bush.
Stitt in OK, among several others, is a far better governor than DeSantis.
I have family in Alabama, and they think Ivey is doing a good job, just not trying to get national publicity for it like her neighbor.
I may be moving to a hill top in SE OK soon if this sinkhole straddling my and the neighbors property gets any bigger I can tell you that much. We may be paved under anyhow, for the SunCoast Parkway extension.
Florida resident here: Fact check TRUE
Good Gov, yes. Not the same as dealing with a hostile party in congress, especially in the senate. With the presidency, he’ll have to deal with schumer and the rest of the ‘rats. There won’t be a filibuster proof majority in the senate. This will greatly hamper his success there in whatever he wants to do. Also, dealing with the turtle will be challenging. That was a big part of Trump’s trouble.
Have a hunch his way of “dealing” with the rats would be to just go along with them.
Both sides are owned by the Globalists.
I submit you forget the republicans own the legislature and would write and pass a ham sandwich rule. They obliterated the sun in the sunshine state by passing restrictive regulations against speech and transparency to benefit one person. Looks to me like they would much rather him GONE, instead of governor.
I Absolutely Think So, Too!
One point to remember. No DJT endorsement, no Governor Ron. Also the second and most important point to remember is that DeSantis is a politician by trade whereas DJT is a businessman. That stated, there is a significant difference between the two professions. A businessman’s success is measured by his integrity and ability to set and meet goals/objectives that positively impact the bottom line to maintain the financial viability of the business (note that running our country is a business). On the other hand, a politician’s success is measured on his ability to parse words in order to be associated with successes but also avoid being associated with failures. Basically the goal is to be flexible and skilled at saying whatever the audience of the day want’s to hear without making a steadfast commitment. With respect to finances, a politician is always willing to spend if it’s not his money. That’s DeSantis and DJT in a nutshell. In closing, DeSantis isn’t even a close second place when it comes to DJT’s leadership and negotiation skills.
“DeSantis has been a good governor”
Has he really been a “good” governor or has his PR been outstanding? Or has having a Republican legislature given him enormous PR potential? Or has having a conscientious PR team working toward a presidential bid been behind everything he has done?
no he has NOT been a good Gov and SD has pointed that out several times. I am a Florida resident and I fear SD is correct with his prediction the backlash will be a FULL Dem legislature and Governor in response to to the crap that has taken place in Florida
A lanslide?
You do know that the average Republican governor beat desactimonius’s margin of victory right? DeSantis under performed the average republican governor!

Aided by one million Republicans and independents (according to Florida GOP) moving to Florida in the last four years.
https://www.breitbart.com/radio/2023/02/04/vice-chair-of-fl-gop-christian-ziegler-17000-net-1-million-moving-state-registered-democrat/
He did not convert a million independents and communists.
You need to get your facts in order.
There are a lot of DeSantis supporters spreading his talking points here these days. Wouldn’t have anything to do with the hundreds of millions of globalist dollars filling his campaign coffers?
Non sequitur. Your facts are uncoordinated.
He kept the Feds from meddling in the election process?
The Dominion / ESS (etc.) machines are still in place, and DeSantis (as far as I know) has never questioned them.
Also, all signs point to the GOP Establishment supporting DeSantis – they wouldn’t do so unless he’s given them “assurances” (if he wasn’t in their camp all along).
DeSantis has all the wrong friends, while Trump has all the right enemies.
DeSantis has done many good things as Governor, and he should serve out his second term. Then we’ll assess his suitability for higher office.
This comes from a FL resident and (still) Trump supporter.
So who is your fill in or substitute Governor these days!!! 🤔
At this point, he may well be a worse governor than Crist.
Ron DeSantis campaign is run by high-level security state operatives.
At the end of May, Christina Pushaw, Rapid Response Director for the DeSantis campaign, attacked Trump’s extraordinary proposals for building Freedom cities as “15-minute cities” and a “WEF-inspired initiative to cut-down on energy/carbon & stop humans from moving freely across spaces.” You might try to write this off as a case of really bad logic: i.e, if you say the words “cities” and “government” in the same sentence it must mean the WEF’s 15-minute cities.
DeSantis’ mouthpiece should have stopped there. But she didn’t. She kept going and let the cat out of the bag, “Centrally-planned, government constructed cities remind me of former communist countries I’ve lived in.”
Christina Pushaw didn’t just “live in” former communist countries. Her resume bears all the check marks of a groomed and trained “color revolution” operative of the MI6-CIA, George Soros funded Project Democracy aimed at controlling and looting the former East Bloc.
She became DeSantis’ press secretary in 2021 fresh from her role as the U.S. foreign agent for former Georgia president Mikheil Saakashvili. She has since transitioned to being his Rapid Response Director.
Mikheil Saakashvili led the “Rose Revolution” in Georgia, one of the first British/U.S. sponsored color revolutions. Saakashvili was groomed and supported for this role by none other than George Soros and Soros’ favorite British partner, Lord Malloch Brown.
Defeated in Georgia, Saakashvili migrated to Ukraine in 2014 where he played both a significant role in the 2014 coup and the later elevation of Zelensky as the current president. Pushaw spent a substantial amount of time in both Ukraine and Georgia as part of these operations.
Saakashvili was rewarded for his role in these operations by being given control of Odessa, one of the most corrupt mafia centers in Ukraine. After politically refueling in Odessa, and under Pushaw’s guidance, Saakashvili staged a splash return to Georgia which failed hugely. He is now rotting in a Georgia prison where many believe he will die, unaided.
In her belated filing as a foreign agent for Saakashvili, Pushaw was represented by Michael Sherwin, the guy who led the first stages of the J6 inquisition and went on “60 minutes” to proclaim that his strategy against the J6 defendants was “shock and awe,” using legal terrorism like the overwhelming swarm of bombs and missiles unleashed in the invasion of Iraq. This background would seem to confirm suspicions that DeSantis is some sort of Security State-controlled candidate with one objective: finally take out Trump and destroy MAGA in the continuing internal U.S. color revolution underway since 2016.
https://www.larouchepac.com/spooky_desantis_operative_loses_it_over_trump_s_freedom_cities
We have long experience with President Trump being mislead by Decepticon advisors, leading to huge mistakes like the bump stock ban.
Don’t defend his ‘freedom cities’. It is as stupid of a position as his once stated desire to “take the guns and worry about their rights later”. President Trump backed down from those bad decisions because real MAGA held his feet to the flames.
Freedom cities are a stupid idea. Food isn’t grown in cities, freedom or otherwise. This is WEF redesign of society, and president Trump is being mislead by those close to him…AGAIN.
The best thing about President Trump is that he WILL listen to real MAGA when we speak out.
TRUE!!! It will leave Thousands of people stranded in bizarre situations at the mercy of severe predicuments and depravations those prospective tiny town dwellers Cannot Anticipate, if, unthinkably the Lord should not rescue them.
Which IS the plan of the DC communists. IN WAYS mod city dwellers Cannot begin to compute.
He often will not rescue the stubbornly willfully self-blinded, who refuse to repent and seek His Face. Especially if they also blame Him for the mess they stubbornly get themselves into.
“huge mistakes”
Mountains out of mole hills. A mistake, not a “huge” one. There are no people, including Trump, that are mistake free. trump is just 99.9% better than any of the other people running for the office with a proven track record.
Freedom cities are just fine. Where food is grown has nothing to do with it. Reform is needed. personally I’d let them burn to the ground. It is not what you claim, what the dishonest Pushaw claims, a WEF redesign.
Did President Trump’s administration survive the BoIshevik coup? That looks pretty fuqqin HUGE to me.
“Reform is needed.”
Says who? I mean other than Klaus Schwab and the WEF, who else?
WOW! When I get my puter back from the repair man, I’ve got to come get this reply and save it!
MAGA is not going anywhere.
It is bigger than Trump now.
We are Constitutional Patriots
We are Tea Party
We are moral Majority
We are the Gingrich Group (can’t remember name)
We are the Remnant
The Chosen
The Pilgrims
We are Minutemen
We are the geurillas we work in concert. We work alone
not one word about the “Live where you work Act” signed by ron!..
I recently came across the economist Paul Craig Roberts again. (One of his articles was on Zerohedge.) He was deputy sec of the Treasury under Reagan and then wrote for the WSJ for a long time. He is now pretty much cancelled but still has a website, paulcraigroberts.org.
He has a very dark but I fear realistic view of the world. He believes that Trump is the ONLY man who can restore American liberty, because Trump gets it and is the only one who is not dominated by donors. DeSantis at best would be another “go along to get along” President.
My view exactly.
PRAY folks. Return to God. Amend our ways
Here’s a great interview with Roberts.
He is as good as Sundance!
https://davejanda.com/paul-craig-roberts-the-governments-fraud-force/
I’m of the opinion that we need to focus on, isolate, mock, demean and ridicule, Ms. Pushaw, into obscurity. I’m starting to see it in the tweets of some. Ramp it up! Let everyone know who she is and who hired her.
DeSantis in trouble in Florida? Quick, Rupert! Buy Ronnie some supporters!
Ever wonder why there are RINOs, but no DINOs? Because RINOs are really Democrats that have to run as a Republican in order to get elected in their district or state.
That’s exactly what GA SOS Raffensperger did when he ran the first time. When he ran in 2022 he won 51% of the vote, in a state election he controlled, while polling at 21%.
Most Republicans are actually Democrats however no Democrats are actually Republicans.
Modifying the “Resign to Run” law in Florida just so DeSantis could run for President while keeping his job a governor was not only one of the most craven political acts, but also indicates that DeSantis is not very confident that he will get the nomination or win the election. It proves that he is in the running only to stop Donald Trump!
The FL legislature also recently passed a law that makes inaccessible the travel records of the governor and other high officials. His supporters claim it’s for security purposes but the law is retroactive so FL taxpayers can’t find out where DeS travelled on the taxpayers’ dime. So much for transparency.
It was stupid of the GOP to do both these things. Not just as a matter of principle but also practicality, it’s going to come back to bite them.
The “Never Got Up”
Campaign
😉
I wonder if Ron DeSantis will have the good sense to drop out of the race after a disappointing, super Tuesday finish, before the humiliation of losing his home state.
His “Pre-campaign-campaign” was/is “NEVER BACK DOWN”?
I’ve been getting mailings for a while, here in South Carolina.
They seem to have slowed down some?
Just got another one the other day in SC.
A red flag for me has been that the ruling party’s media has been rather polite where Mr. DeSantis is concerned, all the way back to 2020.
A candidate who is truly feared because he puts the citizens first would have been under savage, dishonest attack long ago.
And, I’m in total agreement with those who ask rhetorically how RD can possibly save and restore the nation and the world for that matter, if he is coached, promoted and payed by those who have been destroying everything we value.
“paid”
Polls mean nothing.
Ballots matter.
Dems keep WH, Senate and take House.
Plan accordingly.
DeSantis turning his back on the MAGA people that put him in office was a bad move. It is Rove level arrogance.
Love that, “Rove level arrogance. ” True that!
anyone watching the roast in Ohio today with all the Rino’s hoping to make a big slash, including the traitor pence who looks totally out of place, couldn’t watch the news with them being on over and over again. so cut it off
and decided to watch something better. President Trump is the only candidate who can straighten out this country and
I just keep praying for the good lord to take out joe and then do something to put President Trump back in his rightful place
and allow Kamala to just leave office with her drunken head down and never look back
Floridians were not tricked… they may feel spurned but the the alternative in the gov election was a guy that’s switched parties 3 times and ran as a far left loon. John cryst or what ever
DeSantis is running to stay out of jail and put Florida in play.
Trump will be convicted, initially, by Trump-hating, leftist juries in New York. DC, and Atlanta, only to be exonerated later on appeal. Prosecutors—who have been after Trump for eight years—know this but don’t care. One of their key objectives is to damage Trump politically in an election year.
In Trump’s favor during the 2024 campaign will be the fact that working-class and middle-class Republicans and Democrats are sick of the sky-high inflation, the restrictions on the use of fossil fuels, the out-of-control illegal immigration, the males dressed up as females who are being allowed to enter females’ locker rooms and restrooms, and the hundreds of billions of American tax dollars being spent on a dangerous overseas war.
32.6% that has to be his best state by far. What is meatball polling in Iowa with his big porkulous appearances?
If what you have read about Ron has hurt your feelings maybe try rereading to see what points you missed. Sundance has explained repeatedly what his opinion is based on.
