Let us be clear and non-pretending. The RNC, a private corporation run by U.S. multinational corporations, billionaires and donors who control it, is a private club – who construct the rules of affiliation according to the interests and demands of the benefactors.
The RNC club, the right side of the UniParty corporate structure, has zero consideration or interest in the opinion of voters forced to register in their affiliation.
The people who fund the RNC have established the rules for participation in the club debate. The first club debate is scheduled for August 23, 2023, on Fox News with the approved process through the prism of Rupert Murdoch and Paul Ryan. Those club rules include:
♦ A qualifying candidate must poll support at least 1% in three national polls, OR 1% in two national polls and 1% in one early state poll from two separate “carve out” states (Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina) as conducted by polling recognized and approved by the RNC club.
This rule will elevate all the purposeful idiot club members the voters do not like onto the stage. After all, what good is a plan to split the vote if the club cannot give the optics needed for the operation. In essence, and in fact, in order for Chris Christie and Nikki Haley to attack Trump on behalf of DeSantis, they must be on the stage.
♦ Each candidate must meet this polling requirement no later than 48 hours prior to the first scheduled debate and must originate from polling conducted on or after July 1, 2023.
♦ The Candidate must have a minimum of 40,000 unique donors to candidate’s principal presidential campaign committee (or exploratory committee), with at least 200 unique donors per state or territory in 20+ states and/or territories. Evidence of this donor support must be presented to RNC club no later than 48 hours prior to the first scheduled debate.
The RNC club will then use this donor data to request more money for their club operations.
♦ Each candidate must have signed a pledge agreeing to support the eventual club nominee, in order to be considered an “approved republican.”
If the candidate does not support the club rules, the candidate is not approved.
Do you guys see how ridiculously screwed up our system of American party politics is?
If I were advising Donald Trump, or any candidate, I would tell them to put out an official statement that says:
“My loyalty is to the American people, not a private club or politically affiliated corporation. I will not be signing a loyalty pledge to anyone except the American people through my oath of office. Additionally, my view of our nation does not include any division, subset or categorization of personage based on political affiliation.”
The first rule in the maintenance of a constitutional republic, with the end goal to eliminate corporatism in US politics, should be to outlaw the formation of any political party.
Get rid of political parties, and Bernie Sanders would have been the DNC club candidate in 2016. Get rid of political parties, and Newt Gingrich would have been the RNC club candidate in 2012. Get rid of political parties, and voters would see bold contrasts instead of UniParty pastels.
Counter argument – Oh, but if you get rid of political parties then billionaires will just select their guy for office. My point – WTF do you think we have now?
Of course, Politico gets it exactly wrong – on purpose.
(Via Politico) – The Republican National Committee says it will consider adding a second night to the first GOP presidential primary debate this August in Milwaukee, according to new qualifying standards announced Friday.
The first debate will be Aug. 23 on Fox News Channel, with a possible second date of Aug. 24 if enough candidates meet polling and fundraising criteria — and also commit to supporting the eventual Republican nominee and pledge that they will not participate in any outside debates.
Candidates will have to garner donations from at least 40,000 national contributors and poll consistently above 1 percent in three national polls or two national polls and a state poll, according to the RNC’s announcement. Candidates must secure donations “with at least 200 unique donors per state or territory in 20+ states and/or territories.”
The candidates will have until Aug. 21 — 48 hours before the debate — to meet the criteria. Polls conducted prior to July 1 won’t count toward qualification.
The new standards appear designed to prevent the free-for-all, circus-like debates that occurred in the 2016 Republican primaries. Though it’s too soon to know which candidates will clear the thresholds, the criteria are likely to be difficult for at least some hopefuls to clear.
A smaller stage could benefit Ron DeSantis, who wants a one-on-one matchup with former President Donald Trump. The former president is welcoming a large field to splinter the opposition to him. (read more)

I predict Vivek R….. will be a sleeper and be there towards the end.
I think he will be the most problematic for PDJT.
He’d be a great Cabinet member in a Trump administration — assuming that the Margin of Fraud (which will be worse than in 2020) can be overcome.
Sure, JUST what PDJT needs in his next term; a PFIZER plant, whats he gonna do, be a parrot for everything PDJT says, cause thats all he is.
No. No more globalists in a MAGA administration.
I don’t trust Vivek. I feel like he is another plant. Or perhaps like Elon, talks a good game but ultimately will pursue his own best interest.
He also needs to explain his Soros connections: The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans – Wikipedia
I do too, except that he has a lot of baggage. Hiding his Wikipedia entry, for one. Also hiding his WEF affiliation for another. All his businesses based in China.
No, Vivek has a lot of explaining to do.
Watch out for these imitators like Vivek. Read “Who Goes There?”or watch Carpenter’s movie ” The Thing” based on the 1939 short story.
Where did Vivek come from? From underneath 10,000 feet of frozen tundra?
Pres Trump will never agree to this garbage.
A friend is currently at the Lake County Republican Federation Dinner at the Marriott Lincolnshire IL.
The keynote speaker is Kevin McCarthy, speaker of the house.
I will no doubt hear back later as to what the speech entailed.
Did your friend take any vegetables with them, to,..toss at, er TO Kevin?
Out of concern he’s not getting enough fresh vegetables, of coarse.
Perhaps some eggs, maybe a little “long in the tooth” because with the price increases, fostered by Kevin, your friend can’t afford them at current prices, but these are some old ones they had lieing around.
When all their lawfare, push polling and outright propaganda fails to prevent Trump from being the nominee you realise they will only be left with one option don’t you? Assassination.
Based on the past eight years, that’s a logical conclusion.
Nothing has deterred them so far.
Nothing has deterred Trump either, for which I’m eternally thankful.
President Trump no doubt lives with that on a daily basis — I’m reasonably certain there have been MANY attempts on his life. He just has the very best security and the hand of God that protects him every moment of every day.
Yes.
I am convinced that nothing can harm that man unless the Lord permits it.
Val, i was just fixing to say the same thing.
And perhaps the recent revelations confirming whst we all knew, that the CIA did it, may restrain them somewhat?
I think the time for the “Executive action” option has passed, myself.
I certainly hope so Dutchman. It at least would not go down like their assassination of JFK. They have no plausible deniability remaining.
If PDJT is NOT in the debate, few will watch. I recommend PDJT conduct a campaign rally during the debate.
Trump should debate RFK, Jr. just to highlight that the fix is in for the Dems — not to mention the entertainment value, especially when they agree on a couple of critical issues.
Actually, I think this is brilliant. On a bunch of levels…
It would benefit Trump more than RFK Jr. Other than maybe two issues, he goes along with everything the democrats do.
Any network hosting that would have over 10 million eyeballs on it I have no doubt.
They are the two most interesting candidates.
By far, this is the best comment in this long list of comments. The comment asserts action as opposed to whining.
Actually, having listened to 6 1/2 hours of interviews of RFK JR, I think its a horrible idea.
Why?
In my view President Trump, the de facto nominee, the GOP incumbent, the party leader, ahead by 40 points, has zero to gain from a debate. What President Trump is doing is working quite well. The only one’s who might benefit from debates are unknowns or low-polling candidates (ie, everyone else).
only ones not one’s
It would be wild if he held a rally during the debate and responded to the moderator questions after the candidates do. LoL
A rally stage with the live debate on big screen with Trump respond8ng AFTER the candidate responds to the question
President Trump should stay away from any debate.
——-
Sundance for Trump’s Press Secretary in 2025!
Trump should decline the terms–and therefore formally decline the debate well in advance–and instead offer to host his own debate with ONE other Republican contestant.
Probably, a couple of 1%’ers would compete to be that person. On debate night, sitting comfortably across from Trump in relaxed chairs and no moderator, that 1%’er would gain a massive Trump tune-in audience to command 1/2 of the air time.
Talk about a chance to make a big showing for a 1%-er!
evergreen; READ the loyalty clause, they already anticipated that move.
Any candidate that signs there loyalty oath, can not be in any other “unauthorised by RNC” debates.
Did.
Not sure why you hold a loyalty oath to a bunch of liars to be of much value.
The alternative is that most of the contestants can SKIP the oath, skip the debate, and then what? DeSantis talks to himself or two others while the rest do their own thing?
Trump needs a running mate at some point. Pence is out, clearly. As far as snakes go, he’s a worm. If there are any contenders in the GOP mix who could be VP, their best bet is to go solo on this loyalty pledge business and orbit Trump for the gravity effect. More the merrier. Makes Trump the center of the GOP universe if they do.
I absolutely agree that Trump should not try to qualify for the debate. It will be the RNC’s loss. Even if no one else wants to debate him, I think he should give a policy speech. He can say what he wants to with no one countering him. Or bring in some ringer who isn’t a declared candidate to challenge his policy points. This would be much more beneficial to voters who really want to know what PDJT is about and what he plans to do. I think it would also show some Rino’s that he is a serious candidate with well thought out policies.
Next amended rule by the RNC will be that no candidate who’s under indictment or DOJ investigation will be allowed to participate. [spit]
No doubt.
And then no candidate that has the initials DJT, although having any ONE of these initials is fine.
I’ve been quiet lately on purpose.
One comment I do have though is that Ron DeSanctus DOES NOT want to have a ONE-on-ONE with President Donald John Trump and anyone who believes that is either a complete maroon or has lived in a woodchuck hole for about a decade!!!!
That’s all.
I agree Abigail. RD would be forced to go to economic, trade et al issues and off the wokeism script where he would be taken apart and exposed to a large audience.
My money is on PDJT to get under Rob’s thin skin very quickly. LOL
Watch the state parties make a loyalty oath the basis for getting on the Republican primary ballot. Nevada, North Carolina, Georgia. It only takes two or three to make it virtually impossible for President Trump to win unless he makes the same pledge at the state level. Consider this a trial ballon.
THAT would be a problem.
Trump doesn’t need to debate these gnats.
Who is on the RNC Debate Committee?
How many RNC members make up the RNC Debate Committee?
If we don’t get involved enough to know who is doing what we can not pressure our RNC members. We can only make an impact on the RNC (and the GOP as a party) >>>> IF WE GET INVOLVED <<<<
If we do not get involved, if we forfeit the GOP state, county and national party to the GOPe, then we can’t be surprised when the GOPe does what we know they want to do and don’t care about the grassroots voters.
EVERY state has only 3 RNC members – do you know who yours are? Do you know on what RNC committees they serve? Do you know how your state elects their RNC Committeeman/Committeewoman and your state Republican Party chair?
If you have answered no to the above questions then learn more, dig deeper, get involved and show up. Those who show up, run the Republican Party.
I haven’t posted this info here in a very long time.
There 166 RNC members – 3 from each state, 3 from DC, and 3 from 5 US Territories. So, 56 regional/geographic Republican Parties send 3 members each.
The 3 members from each state (+DC & 5 US territories) are 1 Committeeman, 1 Committeewoman and the Chair of that regional/local Republican Party.
The Committeemen & women are elected in the spring of the presidential election year (if I remember that detail correctly) for a 4 year term.
The state chairs are elections vary, but all of the states I have called and learned about are every 2 yrs in Dec/Jan/Feb/March following each Nov election.
The RNC has no term limits but some states have term limits for their RNC committeemen/women &/or for their state chairs.
TN, for example, has a 2 term limit (8 yrs) for the committeemen/women but no term limits for the state chair. Having term limits for our committeemen/women when other states do not lessens our state’s power in the RNC as there are some state’s committeemen/women who have served for decades, accruing power. Also, other RNC members know our committeemen/women will only be there for 2 terms at most and will be gone relatively soon so pay them less attention. I would prefer for all RNC committeemen/women to have term limits of 3-4 terms/12-16 yrs (yes, a 4 term/16 yr limit would still reduce the time in office significantly for some – that is how long they remain in office…decades!). Multiple terms are ok as it takes time to learn how things work and to be effective.
Anyway, no term limits imposed by the RNC but some state parties do put limits on their own Committeemen/women/chairs.
They meet several times a year and serve on committees throughout the year.
States vary in how their RNC committeemen/women/chairs are elected because they vary greatly in how their state party is set up. Some state parties have few members that are publicly elected and others have Huge central committees of hundreds.
Learn more so that you know who to contact about how you want to be represented by your RNC committeeman/woman and your state chair.
In Jan., here in TN we know that our committeeman/woman were Both Strong supporters of a new RNC Chair and our state chair was not. They come to our county meetings, meet with county chairs and speak to our grassroots voters.
Isn’t our TN state Chair, Scott Golden, on the RNC Debate Committee? Interesting to see what he is up to – he has been chair for a long time now – going on 8 yrs. Maybe time for a change and a fresh face.
Thank you for reposting this.
I don’t know who is on the debate committee, but according to GOP.com here’s a list of members from each state etc….
https://gop.com/about-our-party/rnc-members/
Thank you for that link!
In FL the two committee people seem to be solid Trump people, but there is no biography for the state chair. Suspicious…
So loyalty tests are good now?
Wouldn’t it be an easier road for Trump to just start a 3rd party, the MAGA Party, and not have to fight these GOPe traitors?
Bill Clinton won election in 1992 with just 42% of the vote when H. Ross Perot ran as a 3rd party candidate and garnered 19% of the vote.
Your screen name is reflected in your comment.
Easy,..if you want it easy, you should just be a Dem or even better an Indy, as then you have no party or platform, thats REAL easy.
AFTER Perot, both wings of the Uniparty worked together to make it virtually impossible for a new 3rd party to be able to get on the ballot in all 50 States.
And, IMHO they took over and now control the previously established “3rd parties” to insure they are no threat.
Short answer is NO, “Easy” is like “doing your best” and you know what Sean Connery said about that!
I may not be the brightest, but even I can see the RNC -Ronna McDaniels-is trying to lure Trump and his MAGA party into a trap. In order for Trump to compete in the debates he must share his donor base -MAGA support- with the RNC. All the other donor bases for the other candidates are thin and shallow. But the real prize is to tap into Trump’s grassroot support. Most MAGA supporters will only give to Trump and not the RNC. Ronna is out to change all that.
Requiring donor base info makes it sound as if the RNC isn’t able to raise money themselves.
When you’re 30-40 points ahead of your nearest competitor, you don’t need to follow the rules. But I have no doubt Trump understands that completely 😂
All. Please remember, every one of the “candidates” are fully aware Biden Didnt Win, before you start complimenting their conservative talking points. Thanks
P.S. Its all staged BS
We are MAGADONIANS!
1 %. ….. LOL!!!!
Yeah, that’s a pretty low bar. Should make for plenty of contenders.
I will not be watching, but I do hope that others understand the scam that is being perpetrated on them.
If you still believe in the fairness of out elections, you are an idiot.
Trump should not debate and do townhalls and rallies. After all, he already had the job and has nothing to gain by debating these RINO losers. At a minimum, he should have final say on debate moderators or tell the RNC to stick it!
This is tactics and strategy, and there is no one better than PDJT at that, so I have no opinion on what he should do.
Seems like theycare trying to box him into a no-win situation; a debate that they arrange, is going to be a set up, with moderator, christie and noem attacking, and RDS hiding.
Refusing sets up the narrative PDJT isn’t a “team player” and starts the justification for refusing him the nomination, or even to be on primary ballots.
I hope that someone who is advising Trump reads Sundance’s official statement. It’s perfect.
Truth^^^
Great meme! Shared it on Gab.
I listened in on J6 hoping Trump was going to leave the party if they did not do the right thing. It was just another campaign rally.
Leaving the party means you lose the general election. Too many Americans are too entrenched in the false two-party system to vote another way. For many it’s like Ford vs Chevy and they don’t think much further than that. We need low info Republican voters too.
“The RNC club, the right side of the UniParty corporate structure, has zero consideration or interest in the opinion of voters forced to register in their affiliation.
The people who fund the RNC have established the rules for participation in the club debate.”
Seriously, are there still people up here who struggle with this concept?
And are there still people up here who count themselves among those “who fund the RNC” or any of its employees who appear on ballots?
Sure, one slate of UniParty candidates tend to appeal a bit more than another to conservative folks. A bit. But to actually write a check to a UniParty employee??
“My loyalty is to the American people, not to the RNC or any other privately held corporation, and I will be signing a loyalty pledge to the American People for sure, through my oath of office.”
Enough said.
If DJT doesn’t participate would anyone even watch?
The RNC is a bust and most know it..still, so many Republicans keep donating to this false group. Actions;
1) STOP DONATING TO THE RNC, 2) BOYCOTT this debate and STOP WATCHING ANY MAINSTREAM MEDIA, ESPECIALLY FOX, 3) President Trump should NOT participate in this faux debate and he should have his own show/rally at the exact same time AND EVERY TRUMP SUPPORTER (well over 82 million) should watch HIS show. Fox will again lose ratings, share and ad $. We have to start hitting these “corporations” where it hurts; ratings, purchasing products, etc. We can make a change.
Since the democrats won’t let RFK debate, he and Trump should have their own debate. That would send the dems and the rinos into a tailspin.
This is why I will donate to local candidates only and not the RNC.
Will the pledge just say they will be loyal to our Constitution? That’s all voters need to know.
I know third parties are not popular. But DJT lving GOP and forming MAGA Party would be awesome. If any one could pull a third party win, DJT can! The fireworks of a MAGA Party and the establishment meltdown would be EPIC!
Many would vote third party but not if DJT is at the head of a Presidential ticket. Lots of lefties hate the Democrat party and would die before voting for Trump.
Rules are always created in favor of rules makers.
What determines who the rule makers are?
Rules are made to be broken in order to fix bad rules.
So after the vile, corrupt backstabber & cohorts MTG, Jordan, etc, they expect loyalty??????😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Screw the RNC and UniParty. MAGA🤣👊🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️
Allowing those with 1% is redonculouse, as Steve Bannon would say.
Trump should campaign from his front yard. Participating in the RNC proposed scam show is beyond stupid.
The only reason for the specific rules is to disqualify Donald Trump any way they can. Anything else is window dressing.
Pledge their loyalty to whoever is the eventual candidate? It seems obvious that President Trump will be the eventual candidate by today’s polls. The only reason the corrupt, evil, cabal running the shady, duplicitous RNC now wants these rules is that they must be fully intending to collude with the Biden Crime Syndicate to rig the presidential primaries. There is already talk on social media on Lefty posts of Dems posing as Republicans to vote for DeS in their state primaries. In many states, like CA it is an open ballot so this kind of fraud is easy. If the RNC was serious about stopping election fraud, they would be pushing for voting reform. But no, they’re not. IMHO the intentions of the RNC are crystal clear and they plan to cheat. If they were on the up and up, why do the “Elites” invited to their election strategy meeting in Sea Island GA be required to sneak in through the loading dock? Who will be among the guests the RNC don’t want conservatives to know about? Will George Soros be there? Pray Psalm 35 to stop these crooked rats.
I was shocked last night while listening to a Washington DC conservative talk show on my way home from work. The host was interviewing an editor at RedState who was complaining about Ronna McDaniel is not doing anything about election integrity. During the conversation, the host claimed that the sitting president pretty much appoints the head of the RNC. How could he not know that Ronna, in spite of not debating Mike Lindell, was re-elected by delegates to the RNC winter meeting. Thanks Sundance for giving us a better education than this radio talk show host has received.
I doubt the ratings for the Fox debate will be very high without DJT on the stage. Who wants to see a bunch of wannabees who are really neverbees.
Mmmm…… RNC rules and loyalty pledge requirement for Republican Primary Candidates to debate, eh? Okay RNC, will you make the same pledge to the registered Republican voters? Do you promise to equally back, support, and promote all Republican candidates that win their primaries?
And if these are the RNC rules for candidates to be included in the ‘Republican’ primary debates, what are your rules for viewers of this debate? Only registered Republicans are allowed to watch? Only those registered Republicans who sign a loyalty pledge to vote for winning Republican Primary candidate can watch or vote?
Oh Noooooo, of course not, the RNC wants, needs, depends on debate viewership and votes from Democrat crossover and independent/unaffiliated viewership and votes–But more importantly their money!
Let us get down to the nitty-gritty–Instead of a lame promise “to support”–Will all the “qualified for debate Republican candidates” and all their various PACS turn over and donate all their accumulated ‘war-chest’ money to the final primary winning candidates as well as actively campaign for them?
Of course they won’t!!!!!!! And they sure as Hell aren’t going to ‘work’ for the Republican voter either! Has the RNC ever kept a pledge or promise to their voters?
Anybody else see the irony in the republicans expecting their candidates to honor a pledge?
I D I O T S
Trump would never skip a debate, he loves (and thrives in) the format. It’s great exposure for him.
Trump skipped the Fox debate in 2016 in Iowa and held his own event instead.
I have a dumb question to ask: who’s FUNDING all these splitter candidates? Who’d bankrolling them?
One more reason to loathe the GOPe, and the horse face that leads the RNC.
The loyalty pledge means nothing. Cuz when Trump wins, all these pretenders will have their knives out. Bunch of hypocrites.
“when Trump wins” … Trump won in 2020 !!!
The evil bushCARTEL, McConnell RINOherd & neverTRUMP failures … are in total panic mode … regarding 2024 !!!
🇺🇸Trump🇺🇸2024🇺🇸MAGA🇺🇸
They may make this hard as primaries are like club elections and so no real oversight or legal consequences. They are what dominion machines do best. That’s why they have a weighting system built in.
