A single 18 wheeler can carry up to 80,000 lbs and 9,000 gallons. So, this stolen ammonium nitrate could have been transferred into a single tractor trailer.
That being said, if we actually had an FBI that was interested in investigating actual crime, determining which tractor trailers (capable of hauling this volume of ammonium nitrate) were in the vicinity of the train path and which ones are viable suspects would be a massive, but doable task. Especially with today’s mapping and tracking technologies.

The number of companies earning a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index continues to increase, with a record 842 employers doing so in the index’s 2022 edition, released Thursday.
The index, in its 20th year, rates companies on their policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ equality in the workplace. Criteria include nondiscrimination policies, equitable benefits, an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
The foundation, which is the educational arm of the Human Rights Campaign, also announced updated criteria for the 2023 index. The new criteria will focus on expanding gender-affirming health care and workplace policies, ensuring equality in LGBTQ+ family formation benefit offerings, centering LGBTQ+ intersectionality through training and data collection best practices, and more. The index’s criteria have been updated periodically throughout its history.

The number of employers receiving a perfect 100 percent score is up from 767 last year and only 13 in 2002, the first year of the index. The 842 businesses earning the score this year employ 14.3 million workers.
Some of those receiving perfect scores for the first time are Del Monte Foods, DoorDash, Hearst Corp., Radisson, Neiman Marcus, and Ziff Davis. Nine companies have earned a perfect rating throughout the index’s history: Apple, JPMorgan Chase, American Airlines, Nike, Xerox, Eastman Kodak, and Replacements.
The index is compiled primarily through a survey sent to past and prospective participants. There were 1,271 participants in this year’s survey. A record 1,268 of them have nondiscrimination policies that specifically include gender identity, up from just 17 in 2002.
Three hundred seventy-nine Fortune 500 businesses have official CEI ratings based on submitted surveys, as compared to 366 last year — with actively participating Fortune 500 companies having an average score of 94 percent, up from 92 last year.
Seventy-one percent of the Fortune 500 and 91 percent of all CEI-rated businesses offer transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, up from 0 in 2002 and 14 times as many as 10 years ago.
Ninety-three percent of all participants have an employee resource group or diversity council that includes LGBTQ+ and allied workers and programming. Ninety-three percent have also demonstrated at least three instances of public commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.

A new question about the mysterious Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud is: What did he say on a taped deposition handed to the team of special Justice Department investigator John Durham?
Mr. Mifsud is a subject on Mr. Durham’s agenda. The Washington Times reported that Mr. Durham, the U.S. attorney for Connecticut, obtained two Mifsud BlackBerry cellphones. Stephan Roh, Mr. Mifsud’s attorney, told The Times he provided the deposition recording to Mr. Durham’s team in midsummer.
Mr. Mifsud’s April 2016 conversation with a Trump associate ignited the FBI’s long Trump-Russia probe. In May 2018, Mr. Mifsud sat in Mr. Roh’s law office in Zurich recounting his time as an academic traveling in Europe, from London to Rome to Paris to Moscow.

You can grow aany of those in five gallon food grade buckets you can get free at most grocery stores where deli and bakery products one in them. OR……….you can put a thick slice of the bottom of an onion on the widow sill, or the bottom of celery, and grow salad greens. I have a garlic I did not use and all the cloves are sprouting like crazy. Those scapes will be tasty.
There are many people talking about the fact that Prof. Shellyne Rodriguez was fired from NYU for disrupting a pro-life table at her university, cursing at them and throwing their materials on the floor, and later holding a machete to the neck of an New York Post reporter who went to her apartment to ask for her comments on the incident at the pro-life table. However, I have not heard anyone bring up the most important aspect of this story, namely that someone like this could have been hired by the university in the first place. Her extremist views would have been known. Her lack of respect for the 1st amendment rights of people who have different political opinions from her own would have been know or, at least, could have been easily discovered. The fact is that this is not an isolated incident. Schools and universities all over the country hire people like this who do not understand or respect the constitution. Renewed pressure must be put on schools and universities not to hire people like this. I am not a Marxist or socialist but I would never try to shut down their rights to express their views. I would talk with them respectfully hoping, over time, to change their views. That is the United States of America!

Right now the earliest state primaries for 2024 are held on March 5 although Iowa, South Carolina and Wyoming haven’t set a date yet. Finally Texas is at the head of the primary list being March 5 rather than the usual late primary date when everything already decided. New Hampshire is “March 12 (The secretary of state, however, is authorized to pick a date seven days earlier than any other state’s presidential primary.)” Look for them to change that date or no candidate would go there.

Even with pledges of huge reductions in emissions, many scientists believe extracting carbon dioxide (CO2) by using nature, or technology, will be essential to meet global goals set under the Paris climate agreement to curb climate change.
“These agreements reflect our ambition to support scale, innovation and evolution in these technologies. Alongside reducing emissions, the world needs significant investment in durable carbon removal solutions with gigaton-scale potential,” Ashley Bacon, chief risk officer, JPMorgan Chase said in a statement.
The bank has signed purchase agreements with several carbon removal projects, including a nine-year deal with Switzerland’s Climeworks, for 25,000 tons of carbon removals from its direct air capture (DAC) projects, which suck CO2 from the air and permanently store it.

The city of Chicago has lost more than 80 thousand people in two years. In total, according to recent U.S. Census data,100 thousand residents have left Illinois.
Thirty-two percent of those people came from Chicago.
It’s the second largest population decline in America behind New York City.
