There is a great deal of frustration, righteous frustration about the seriously destabilizing constructs happening around us, combined with almost no corrective action from people in power or influence that can do anything, something, about it.
This leads to the #1 question people ask, “What can I do about it?” The answer is not complex, and consists of two obvious elements:
First, stop pretending.
Second, confront those who rely on our pretending.
OK, great, but what does that look like? I’ll give you some examples.
♦EXAMPLE – Millions of illegal aliens are pouring through the southern border. They don’t impeach Joe Biden over his failure to do his job and “preserve, protect and defend the United States.” Why not? It’s too difficult they say. Well, ok, but here’s an easy approach.
The debt ceiling needs to be raised. Tell the White House the debt ceiling isn’t going to be raised until the border is closed, secured, done! Shut up, and/or just keep repeating that line. When the border is secure, we will raise the debt limit. DONE!
OMG! Horrible Republicans the media cry. Who cares? Don’t move. Response: when the border is secure, we will raise the debt limit!
Then make Biden own the debt default in order to keep the border open.
Well over 70% of the country wants the border secured. Everyone sees the massive influx of illegal aliens. Not even Democrat constituencies want more illegal aliens flooding into their neighborhoods (see Chicago). So, make the debt ceiling conditional on the border closing. PERIOD. Just stop pretending.
Keep it simple. When Customs and Border Patrol tells you the border is secure, then raise the debt ceiling. How frigging hard is this?
It’s not hard. So, stop pretending it is.
See how this works?
♦EXAMPLE – Ron DeSantis walks into a shop, or holds an event. Ask him the big picture questions: Governor, when did you decide to run for the presidency? When all these billionaires and multinational corporations are giving you hundreds of millions of dollars, what do they expect from you? How much did Rupert Murdoch pay you for the advance on your recent book deal? Why was it important for you to seal your travel records? Why did you need the Florida legislature to change the ‘resign to run laws’?
Anticipate the reply, focus the follow-up on a foundational truth. These are not difficult questions, but you never see them asked. Why not? BECAUSE THE PEOPLE HE IS IN CONTACT WITH ARE PRETENDING.
DeSantis is relying on the maintenance of that pretending. Just stop.
♦EXAMPLE – Senator Rubio holds a townhall meeting. Again, ask him the big picture questions: Senator, you are the vice-chairman of the Senate Intel Committee; you are a member of the gang-of-eight. We know from court documents that former Senate Security Director James Wolfe leaked a top secret FISA application, likely at the direction of your chairman Mark Warner. Why have you never called this out? Why do you protect him? Why was James Wolfe never prosecuted for the FISA leak?
You watched FBI Director James Comey testify in March 2017 that he never informed the gang of eight about his previous 11-month investigation of the presidential candidate who was the political opposition of the sitting president; why didn’t you do anything about it?
Why didn’t you ever allow a single recess appointment by President Donald Trump? Why did you go along with Mitch McConnell to block a Republican president?
Again, Marco Rubio sits next to Mark Warner, calls him his “friend across the aisle”, and yet that “friend” is part of the system to destroy our country. Stop letting him pretend, start confronting him. The same applies to all other senators, in all other townhalls.
Start making their lives uncomfortable by asking the obvious questions.
We are in an abusive relationship with government. If you want to stop government from abusing us, then act like they are abusing us!
Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Maria Bartiromo, Fox News, conservative pundits, Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, conservative websites and political talkers writ large, all of them are continuing this game of pretending. Most of them are all connected to the same financial mechanisms. None of these groups are going to ask any of the obvious questions or hold anyone to account. They all maintain the game of pretending.
There are only a few people, maybe a handful, who are not.
Look at the obvious stuff, this is not complex politics.
Those who trade in the art of deception will always find an audience willing to be deceived. Quit looking for someone else to do the job, start putting yourself in the position to challenge them with obvious questions.
Stay out of the weeds, there’s no reason to be in them, and just ask the obvious questions; there are dozens of them ….And for the love of all that is good and righteous in this world….

The prophecy was actually fulfilled soon after it was prophesied. I have never read a prophecy that speaks about the United States of America in the Bible. As a matter of fact, most eschatological biblical scholars have been amazed at the fact that such a power house of a country as the US is not in end times Bible prophecy at all. They have speculated that it may be because the United States of America will suddenly no longer be as powerful as we have been over the last two hundred years. There have been many theories discussed as to why that might be. Some have said after the rapture of the church it will collapse, others have thought that there is a financial melt down to cause our demise, still others have suggested a nuclear attack takes us out of the picture. No one really knows.
As Dutchman suggests above, the most important thing is that we are walking intimately with the Lord in these last and troublesome days.

Two quick thoughts after reading Sundance’s post:
First, unless a few thousand of us make contact each and every day, to the point where the person who picks up the phone sighs when s/he recognizes our voices, it isn’t going to matter. One caller once a week gets lost in the shuffle. Thousands of voters calling every day gets attention.
Unfortunately, second point, asking the questions discussed by Sundance won’t get immediate responses via a call, which is why he mentioned town hall meetings. When I place calls tomorrow, it will be to confirm the where and the when.
If no town halls are scheduled, I’ll try for an in-person scheduled meeting.

You don’t get a real person on the phone most of the time. You have to leave a message if you want to say anything.
I’ve been told nothing irritates them worse than the office filled with extra-large bags of MAIL, MANY of them coming in morning and afternoon for weeks and months BCZ they WILL stop answering the phones and they WILL start ignoring Posts on their computer sites. But those extra large mailbags filling up the room, and they don’t know which are letters demanding accountability or letters containing DONATIONS, so they cannot ignore them.

Seriously? Just like all the doctor’s offices now, nobody picks up the phone or the mailbox is full and you are asked on their phone message to not keep calling. The staff will prevent you from actually speaking to the exalted congress person.
Asking questions at a town meeting or campaign event gets the ideas out to those in the crowd. It also lets the crowd see the fact that the swamp critters won’t dare answer the questions honestly, if at all.

A great idea is to run a local/county/state taxpayer watch group. Video tape every meeting, ask the questions that these criminals have not had to answer. Put the videos up on a website for everyone to see, especially the constituents taxpayers of the town/county/state. In these times this may attract/red pill loads of people.

One the best and easiest ways to meet these politicians is to join your local GOP committee. These local GOP groups are the gateway to fundraisers, meet-and-greet, campaign events, and dinners with the same politicians you need to confront with reality.
Last election season, we went to our congressman’s neighborhood fundraiser, and our KIDS confronted him on supporting unlimited $$$ to Ukraine! This is how it starts – and how they get to know we are keeping tabs on them.
So, just like The Boss asked many times, get out and join your local GOP committee and/or club, and get to work!

Why would you be on Facebook when Zuckerberg was part of the election fraud in 2020? Facebook, Google and Twitter all suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story as well. WHERE are the J6 tapes?
Ask Matt Gaetz, MTG, Boerner, Biggs, Gosar, not McCarthy.
They did the whole kabuki theater, with 5 days to elect a Speaker, and at the end the 6/20 assured us they had McCarthy “by the short hairs” because they had “the motion to vacate” threat, to compel him to do our bidding, which includes RELEASING THE TAPES, holding fast on the debt limit in order to force real change, etc.
But, ALL the motion to vacate does, is remove Kevin as Speaker, STOP all other House activity until a New Speaker is elected, which takes them right back where they were;
Dems vote in lockstep for Hakeem, or even threaten some will switch to Kevin, the vast majority voted for Kevin, and the 6/20 have no leverage.
And what did we see? TC showed ONE LITTLE SEGMENT of the J6 tapes, McConnell and Schumer in lockstep “bipartisan” chorus of condemnation, demanding TC be fired, and he is. And NO MORE TAPES.
Either the 6/20 got played, or WE did.

The point, of course, is does this make a difference? Does an auditorium full of angry parents complaining to the school board about their children’s education, make a difference insofar as the curriculum? Even when there is some ‘organization’ with those who want change, any change is slow to come, if at all. Sundance gives the example of the debt ceiling vs closing the border. Just exactly how are citizens supposed to enact that, when our ‘representatives’ do nothing???
30 years ago WE HAD a public debate, on SCHOOL VOUCHERS.
The opponents tried the rascist card, and it failed to carry the day, as poor kids, stuck in failed public schools would benefit the most.
They tried the “church and State” argument regarding the Govt $ going to parochial schools, but since PC’s are just ONE option, that argument failed, as well.
The enthusiasm end energy came from the base, the arguments were debated in op-eds and letters to the editor, on Sunday a.m. talk shows, and in public meetings and arounf water coolers/over kitchen tables across the land.
And, in “the Court of public opinion”, WE WON, with most people supporting it.
The problem with public education is school funding being tied to property taxes.
Have the State and Fed $ go with the kid wherever they and their parents decide they should go for their education.
Public, private, parochial, or home schooling.
SIMPLE concept. But then the legislators we depended on to represent us, betrayed us.
They went behind closed doors, negotiated with the opponents, and came out declaring a “compromise, bi-partisan approach”;
CHARTER SCHOOLS.
WE never said anything about CHARTER SCHOOLS, which is left than 1/2 a loaf of moldy bread, that does not do anything like what parents wanted; anf so 30 years later we still have the same system, only worse.
And, out of that frustration was born the home school movement, and for many the realisation that of the truth of the Uniparty.
Every study has found that home schooled students far exceed those in public schools, given the low bar, how could they NOT?
Enough parents opting to home school, would have the samr effect on the public school system ss vouchers, as schools recieve funding depending on butts in seats.
But for far too many parents, they could’t kick their addiction to the illusions of ‘convenience’ and ‘prosperity’ and the working poor probably felt they couldn’t afford to home school.
And so the marxist degeneration of our schools, and indoctrination of our next generation continued.
And 30 years later, parents storm school bosrd meetings, disgusted and abhorent to learn about the utter CRAP the schools are indoctrinating their kids with?
Taking over school boards that will be dependant on the same funding system, is an excercise in futility.
Because the obvious answer is “too hard”, would require some sacrifice, lifestyle changes and giving up some of those illusions of convenience and prosperity.

The library is 100% free. There are a ton of homeschooling resources at the library. Which also has wifi or if they are low income are probably are already receiving that service at home and there is a plethora of homeschool free resources on the internet. I know, I have been doing that myself with the two I am homeschooling.
Speaking with a few mothers that do send their kids to public school they love their free time and that school breakfast, lunch is provided. So there is that.
Sundance sets out what should be the main line of attack on the border lawlessness.
There are a few steps that need to be added:
Republican voters need to tell their representatives to link securing the border and the budget.
They also need to tell them they will not get a vote if they shy away from this action.
Finally they need to call for a public moratorium on voting for all Republicans until this is done.

I have already sent it to all of my CongressCritters, and many other influencers.

I will however, comment on the prospects of congress actually investigating any of this…the body of congress, is without question responsible for this treason.

congress will never correct the problems and crimes it commits. we are passed that moment ..there is just simply too much corruption. it’s institutionalized corruption..not a one off, anomaly. It’s standard fare corruption…
and here is the thing…what IF congress DID actually investigate itself…read it out on congressional record? what then? is there really anyone that seriously thinks that the bank robber is going to return the stolen money? and furthermore, the crime remains…that members CHOSE to not act. That is a violation of trust. This means to me that even IF congress members who whine about it now, but who did not act on the day when it mattered the most..means they are not qualified to have power. period. It’s one of those very dangerous crimes that has no remedy that can be treated internally…
the way ahead with this is that THE PEOPLE ARE INFORMED and that congress is completely replaced with NEW PEOPLE…who have their minds rights and their purpose loyal to what matters the most.
that j6 never happens again…THAT IS THE PURPOSE OF CONGRESS..to defend against all enemies both foreign AND DOMESTIC…including the body of congress itself.
the only way forward in my view, is revolution…to replace congress with members who are not corrupt…and that also means defunding and abolishing the DOJ and FBI. Every single person in those two agencies must be sent packing…and quite a few of them need prison time…and a few death sentences….
we are talking about treason…a crime so dangerous, that once committed it destroys the very fabric of trust in government. A crime so steep that it creates and develops an unelected secret police spy state that acts directly opposed to the constitution and becomes THE ENEMY to THE PEOPLE.

I love the “this is not complex politics” line. Bingo! Been saying the same myself for working on 2 decades now. When someone is trying to deceive you they will do one – or both – of two things: Distract you or complicate things. Listen to what the elites tell us, “these problems are difficult and hard things to solve.” When you listen to the pundits, listen to the language they use. Are they using the words and language of the left such as “migrant” instead of foreign invader? Are they explaining how they aren’t a “phobe” of some sort or another? Or are they telling you these phrases are a distraction? Most importantly, do they watch what the JoeMentia* regime is doing to this country and ask “what were they thinking?”, call them “incompetent”, or “moronic”, or ask “how did so-and-so even GET this job?” Or, do they call what’s happening what it is: INTENTIONAL?
In my 6 plus decades walking this earth, what I have found is that people don’t want to look at hard truths. They want an easy way out. It’s normal, and natural. They will only face the truth when told it over and over and forced to look at the results of their refusal to accept it. That’s one of the reasons they hate Trump; he tells them the truth even while he soft pedals it a touch in an attempt to break down resistance. It is why DeSantis is the choice of many who like Trump policy but can’t handle the truth … so to speak. DeSantis tells them what they want to hear while telling them nothing. After asking a dozen or so RonBots (as I refer to them) why they like Ron over Trump, I finally got one to actually answer the question and the reply I got had only one policy reference in it. The rest was based off how Ron made that person feel. And it hit me.
The truth makes people uncomfortable. I don’t know why. But it does.
Republicans have the wind at their backs on this issue. The need to start being as forceful as democrats are when they push their agenda. But let’s face it, the nut-less wonder GOP would rather have people like them than do any heavy lifting.
