There is a great deal of frustration, righteous frustration about the seriously destabilizing constructs happening around us, combined with almost no corrective action from people in power or influence that can do anything, something, about it.
This leads to the #1 question people ask, “What can I do about it?” The answer is not complex, and consists of two obvious elements:
First, stop pretending.
Second, confront those who rely on our pretending.
OK, great, but what does that look like? I’ll give you some examples.
♦EXAMPLE – Millions of illegal aliens are pouring through the southern border. They don’t impeach Joe Biden over his failure to do his job and “preserve, protect and defend the United States.” Why not? It’s too difficult they say. Well, ok, but here’s an easy approach.
The debt ceiling needs to be raised. Tell the White House the debt ceiling isn’t going to be raised until the border is closed, secured, done! Shut up, and/or just keep repeating that line. When the border is secure, we will raise the debt limit. DONE!
OMG! Horrible Republicans the media cry. Who cares? Don’t move. Response: when the border is secure, we will raise the debt limit!
Then make Biden own the debt default in order to keep the border open.
Well over 70% of the country wants the border secured. Everyone sees the massive influx of illegal aliens. Not even Democrat constituencies want more illegal aliens flooding into their neighborhoods (see Chicago). So, make the debt ceiling conditional on the border closing. PERIOD. Just stop pretending.
Keep it simple. When Customs and Border Patrol tells you the border is secure, then raise the debt ceiling. How frigging hard is this?
It’s not hard. So, stop pretending it is.
See how this works?
♦EXAMPLE – Ron DeSantis walks into a shop, or holds an event. Ask him the big picture questions: Governor, when did you decide to run for the presidency? When all these billionaires and multinational corporations are giving you hundreds of millions of dollars, what do they expect from you? How much did Rupert Murdoch pay you for the advance on your recent book deal? Why was it important for you to seal your travel records? Why did you need the Florida legislature to change the ‘resign to run laws’?
Anticipate the reply, focus the follow-up on a foundational truth. These are not difficult questions, but you never see them asked. Why not? BECAUSE THE PEOPLE HE IS IN CONTACT WITH ARE PRETENDING.
DeSantis is relying on the maintenance of that pretending. Just stop.
♦EXAMPLE – Senator Rubio holds a townhall meeting. Again, ask him the big picture questions: Senator, you are the vice-chairman of the Senate Intel Committee; you are a member of the gang-of-eight. We know from court documents that former Senate Security Director James Wolfe leaked a top secret FISA application, likely at the direction of your chairman Mark Warner. Why have you never called this out? Why do you protect him? Why was James Wolfe never prosecuted for the FISA leak?
You watched FBI Director James Comey testify in March 2017 that he never informed the gang of eight about his previous 11-month investigation of the presidential candidate who was the political opposition of the sitting president; why didn’t you do anything about it?
Why didn’t you ever allow a single recess appointment by President Donald Trump? Why did you go along with Mitch McConnell to block a Republican president?
Again, Marco Rubio sits next to Mark Warner, calls him his “friend across the aisle”, and yet that “friend” is part of the system to destroy our country. Stop letting him pretend, start confronting him. The same applies to all other senators, in all other townhalls.
Start making their lives uncomfortable by asking the obvious questions.
We are in an abusive relationship with government. If you want to stop government from abusing us, then act like they are abusing us!
Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Maria Bartiromo, Fox News, conservative pundits, Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro, conservative websites and political talkers writ large, all of them are continuing this game of pretending. Most of them are all connected to the same financial mechanisms. None of these groups are going to ask any of the obvious questions or hold anyone to account. They all maintain the game of pretending.
There are only a few people, maybe a handful, who are not.
Look at the obvious stuff, this is not complex politics.
Those who trade in the art of deception will always find an audience willing to be deceived. Quit looking for someone else to do the job, start putting yourself in the position to challenge them with obvious questions.
Stay out of the weeds, there’s no reason to be in them, and just ask the obvious questions; there are dozens of them ….And for the love of all that is good and righteous in this world….

When the politician dodges be prepared already knowing who their donors are and then get very specific. For instance, why does this corporate donors giving you $$$ want the border open? What is their return on their donation investment in you?
Corporations don’t answer that question.
They are predominantly uneducated and already used to submission to a tyrannical government. When you’ve never experienced freedom, there is no motivation to fight for it. Just do as your told, vote, and collect your government stipend.
And the honest truth, Americans don’t want those jobs. How do you fix that? Better wages = More expensive food. How do you really fix that? You grow your own, fix what you own, and become as self sufficient as you can. That, is how the America you dream of was founded.

Stuck, for reasons beyond my control, in an area overrun with an infestation of left-wing socialist loons, I’m feeling downtrodden and exhausted after years being trapped in this abusive relationship with government. As much as I hate to say it, I’m afraid nothing will change nationally in this relationship with the uni-party mouthpieces and their power-broker overlords until there is blood in the streets.
It’s unfortunate to be stuck as people who will identify and empathise with all under such circumstances. To be worn down by unrelenting abuse from government (with total submission – their purpose) and our best efforts standing firm – no matter what or for how long getting or keeping; active instead of being beaten down to passive. No giving in or giving up.
What’s the worse that can happen? Why and for who are we doing this knowing well we stand to be cut down physically if we should withstand emotional and mental abuse? How far are we willing to go NOW – to give of ourselves or give up what we have to toally lose?
No effort or involvement is too insignificant before actually having to wade through (if one is lucky) blood inthe streets; or starting at one’s doorsteps.

Just went to an air show today at Scott AFB in Southern Illinois. We watched various aerial displays. Most impressive were the Navy’s demonstration team, The Blue Angels, and various large support aircraft such as the C-5 Galaxy & KC10 and KC46.
The awesome might of our military is said to be second to none. Why is it that we can never seem to win wars outright?

I had just moments ago read my email from a minister, Scott Lively. I do not know if his theory is correct nor incorrect…and seemingly neither does he. However, it is a VERY INTERESTING take:
A Different Theory on Open Borders
I haven’t seen anyone else offer this opinion, but I believe the flood of illegal immigrants who have been coming over our southern border for the past decade – mostly military-age young men — may actually be intended to serve as cannon-fodder for the now-admitted American-run Ukraine war of attrition against Russia. Their status as non-citizens of the US would allow them to become foreign mercenaries to Ukraine identified only by their country of origin, theoretically preserving the ability of our corrupt elites to plausibly deny that their actions constitute direct US war with Russia (triggering all the serious complications of constitutional and international law that would entail).
These young men would be recruited/conscripted in the US, perhaps (carrot and stick fashion) in conjunction with the threat of deportation/prosecution, then trained and equipped in the US or Europe alongside native Ukrainian soldiers, but paid by US tax-money laundered through the Ukrainian government in the form of wages. Conversely, we might openly declare war and institute a draft to do pretty much the same thing. (Interestingly, even illegals are legally required to register with Selective Service.)
Is this a plausible theory? The corrupt elites whose minions rule us from their deep-state bunkers in the Defense and State departments of our government love fighting wars with proxy armies. They learned a hard lesson during the Vietnam War that Americans would no longer tolerate forever wars in which large numbers of their own children died for ideological pretexts masking mega-corporate geopolitical strategies. So proxy-wars became necessary to keep the military-industrial complex humming and Anglo-American global hegemony intact.
Importantly, these elites are not short-term thinkers but plan decades, even centuries ahead. I’m not talking about the figureheads who change from election to election or their deep state handlers but the old, old money family dynasties who feature so prominently in populist conspiracy theories/realities but are never actually seen. We don’t see them but we know they’re there, like the invisible electricity that powers our consumer appliances. They’re real people with real power and a real agenda that proceeds without regard for what the common people think they want.
The “tide of history” shows that the commoners are as malleable as play-dough in their hands when the time-line for shaping the public’s “wants” spans generations. They know their systems for social engineering work and they are very patient. They didn’t push for transgender self-determination in the 1950s because they knew their strategy for LGBT cultural supremacy would require slow incremental change — focused on the children – while at the same time placating the older generations by allowing them to achieve a continual series of temporary, ultimately meaningless, partial victories. It works the same on all issues.
In other words, effective long-term social engineering always follows the Marxist dialectic: thesis, antithesis, synthesis: two steps forward (to set the path), one step back (to placate the conservatives), a short pause to consolidate (synthesize) the new “status quo,” then repeat for a net gain of one step “forward” each cycle. That’s how the elites manufacture their metaphorical “tide of history” and make it look like spontaneous organic change to those observing it subjectively in real time.
That’s the beauty of truly long-term planning in societies of short term thinkers. The elites knew, for example, even during the Eisenhower administration that world war with the Russian Empire would be inevitable. But they also knew that the passion of many in the victorious WWII generation (including General MacArthur) for pressing on immediately to defeat Communism was foolishness and that immediate war against the Soviet Union on the Asian front would be disastrous. From their elite perch above the geo-political narratives (which even before the “Cronkite Era” they spoon-fed the common people through their controlled media) they had watched a woefully under-prepared Russia decimate the unprecedentedly formidable Nazi war machine in 1941 and 42 while learning from it’s mistakes and then transforming itself into a Soviet military superpower by 1945.
Instead they began a long-term delay and containment strategy, knowing that the creation of the New York City-based United Nations in 1945 and their already existing control of global banking and oil production, would allow them to steer world affairs while they built the NATO alliance and, slowly, over a period of decades, tightened it like a noose around the Russian Empire. The official North Atlantic Treaty was signed in 1949 signaling a formal break-up of the Allied coalition of WWII and the start of a cold war with the Soviet Union. NATO was militarized in 1951, and through it the Anglo-American partnership established global hegemony and set its sights on creating a single global government (whose visible roots actually go back to the Woodrow Wilson administration and his post-WWI League of Nations in 1920 – revealing, again, that these are very long-term planners). The takedown of the Soviet Union in 1991 sped the process.
Now, I do not believe that the nations of the world would live in harmony if not for (currently wicked) Anglo-American dominance, as those who support the rising Russian-orchestrated “multi-polar” world order now contend. And if the benign British and American values of the Christian era still prevailed, I would still be among the world’s strongest defenders of the “melting pot” version of the American dream as a global template. But power always corrupts and idealism always succumbs to the rationalizations of the power-hungry, which is why every form of government in world history including our beloved America has failed to honor God’s intentions for civilization, and why His final solution is His soon-coming Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMaschiah).
The Russian Federation, with its hopeful championship of pro-family normalcy and rightness of cause in defending its legitimate national interests in the face of relentless NATO aggression, will not be the salvation of the world but only play its role as global scapegoat in the looming great collapse and great reset. The current, unsustainable partnership of Orthodox Russia with Islamic nations and Communist China would inevitably devolve into conflict, even if it survived WWIII intact, which it won’t and neither will we. The Antichrist kingdom will be the temporary victor pending Christ’s second coming, and all the world will suffer that evil rule together.
But between now and then there is (if Bible literalism trumps comforting pre-trib rapture theories), some heavy tribulation to survive per the chronology revealed to us by Jesus in Matthew 24-25. And our job as believers preparing for His return is to read the signs of the season to gauge as best we can where we presently stand in the prophetic time-line.
I first advanced my open border theory a few months ago that the young men being lured to criminally trespass across our border by the millions were destined to be conscripts for war. Since then even big-city Democrats have begun pushing back against the flood because it has reached their jurisdictions. And yet, the elites are doubling down and drawing even more illegals into the net, while at the same time they are using high-profile transgender stunts to intentionally drive American men away from military service and create a perceived need for a return of the draft. I think both those things strengthen my case. Time will tell if I’m right.

He’s a well thought out man of my generation whose been around the block a few times and has lived in quite a few other countries during his lifespan. I respect someone whose willing to ‘think outside the box’ even at the risk of being called ‘nuts’. He admits it is only a theory and he also admits it may not be so. I, for one, appreciate anyone who will put forth some brain power to consider and contemplate possibilities no matter how ‘far-fetched’ they may seem. I was in Kuwait in the 80’s during the Iran/Iraq war and the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq.
Kuwait had an army and Air Force comprised of Kuwaiti officers, and everyone from sergeant on down were third worlders from places like North Africa, Ceylon, Bangladesh etc.
Long story short, theKuwaiti officers were incompetent and they couldn’t trust the lower ranks. Kuwait was overrun in a day.
Lesson is that people who have no history in your country, who aren’t fighting for those ideals, are not going to be an effective fighting force.
Secondly, our weapons systems are so complicated they require extensive training and an IQ over room temperature. Short of simply giving them mortars, rifles and a rucksack with a pair of boots, it’s not possible to use a force like that to prevail.

I understand how some might think that haveing more manpower is important or use to be important in the military.
If one military force can throw more manpower at the enemy than the other military then they can out last or over power and win.

1) The modern soldier is too highly trained for a draft to be of any practical use. The pipeline to bring one up to speed takes too long.
2) Recruiting foreigners to defend one’s sovereignty doesn’t work. Ask the Romans.

When I went deeper and saw that our Law actually makes provision for ‘drafting’ illegal immigrants, Mr. Lively’s ‘Theory’ seems less far-stretched than it did originally. I hear that some don’t think it would be possible because of the training involved. With the current administration’s standard of training, I don’t think that matters much to them. Both of my brothers served, one in the Navy and one in the Green Beret-Army in Turkey many moons ago (both now in their upper 70’s). Our military was strong then and most definitely was under Pres. Trump. However, it seems that over these past two yrs., ‘they’ have taken many steps to destroy it and weaken it. What’s a bunch of poorly trained illegal immigrants matter to them?

The actual reason elected officials are all in regarding the bogus need to raise the debt limit is:
(1) $75 billion given to Ukraine the last 2 years.
(2) $186.2 billion for US Representatives and Senators salaries the last 2 years. Note the base salary for each elected Congressional member, 435 Representatives and 100 Senators, is $174000 per year.
(3) $87 billion allocated by the Biden administration for housing/hotel rooms for illegals in the US.
Since Congress did not enact the War Powers Act and prevent Biden from engaging in any lengthy Ukrainian conflict, they purposefully abrogated their responsibility and failed in their oversight duty. In addition, not one peep about from Congress, except the usual whining, about any substantive action to stop the flow of illegals into the US and the funds being specifically allocated for their housing and safety. Bottom line is that Congress’ only apparent action is giving the US citizen a one finger salute on the way to the poor house and starvation.
In closing, the federal government owes us, we the people, approximately $278 billion for their malfeasance. As such, they can dig into their little campaign war chests, profits from their insider trading and money laundering escapades, in addition to forfeiting some base salary, to pay back the US Treasury. Any effort to raise the debt limit is an absolute sham.
I would change “secure” to “closed and secured”. It’s why the keep saying it’s “secure”, because in their evil minds they think since the border patrol and NGO’s are helping them cross its secure.

We have a debt based monetary system.
Which requires new debt or ‘currency’ to be issued at similar rate as the weighted average interest rate of the debt or it collapses.
The first solution is to progressively payoff the debt with dollars while progressively increase bank reserve requirements.
If we keep paying off old debt with new debt this problem just keeps growing exponentially.

Second step is to remove capital gains tax on Constitutional money and allow free markets to set interest rates.
Third, get the economy growing again with more cheap energy, restoring or industries , a 90% reduction in government and an end senseless wars and meddling in the affairs of other nations.
